She's not that bad. Her tests are pretty hard, but if you have half a brain then you can follow along with her in the lectures and learn the material for the tests.

I took her she is a good teacher, I think as long as you try and do your work you can get it she will really work with you....all the complaints are coming from college algebra student you guys should know that stuff from high school....how did you take the SAT???

She's a great teacher. Ask her for help and she's always there. She makes things short and sweet and will not continue until everyone is on the right path. Her tests aren't that hard it's just easy to make a simple mistake. I would recommend her to anyone!

very easy if you do all the homework and online quizzes. if you're lazy and don't do work, then don't take her.

She is really nice and she has fun with the class. She is more than willing to help and she gives extra credit and other helpful opportunities. Just keep up with the work. The tests are a little on the hard side but she is awesome!

Clear communication in lecture, helpful outside of class, better than others.

This class is an easy class. If you dont like going to class all the time, take this class. It is a lecture hall so you don't have to go all the time. I went for just the tests and did fine. Take her

Very knowledgeable but not enthusiastic about the topic - was constantly ranting about how spring break couldn't come any faster. Tests are reasonable and she gives A LOT of partial credit, so if you put forth effort you'll pull off a B. Online quizzes can be retaken as many times as needed and are automatic 100s, weekly quizzes are simple too.

I really enjoyed this class. I hate math, but Professor Dedeo is a really good teacher. You never get out early and you have a lot of homework, but she always drops your lowest grades. She gives lots of partial credit and sometimes extra credit! She's pretty funny too. She's late sometimes, but explains concepts well. Take her!

Would Recommend. She keeps you interested in the class and is willing to help outside of class

Lots of work, but I learned a lot.

I dont understand why people are saying these things about her but i got an A in her class and this is my first math class everrrrr getting an A! I ususally get C's from math classes even when I study alot. She gives these online quizzes every week and you can take them as many times as you want and once you pass them they are automatically a 100%

I took college algebra with this teacher. She knows the math backward and forward, and her notes shes gives are pretty good overall. Her quizzes are easy, but its the TA's who you want to use if you need help. Pretty easy to pass the class though.

I took her for college algebra. The workload is intense and if you don't stay on top of it, you'll pay for it. Go to class, it'll be easier for you in the long run. I learned a lot in her class but it was definitely intense. Rely on your TAs a lot!

She is tuff but good. She is late everyday so no need to rush to class. Lots of homework, online quizzes, and written quizzes. You need to come to class and do all the work to pass and if you do what is expected of you, you will be fine. I would take her again, she is a very good professor. I got a B+. Try to take her small lecture class.

very nice lady. lot of work!! take notes use her for help bc she helps out alot! online quizes dont wait till the last min or you will regret it! this is a class you have to study for or you will not pass!

Nice, helpful, & friendly. Lectures were very structured, which I value highly. Provided a lot of examples in class. Homework and tests would have been extremely hard if she hadn't. Only complaints: there was a ridiculous amount of homework each week & she was at least 5 minutes late every day & held class over at least 5 minutes every day.

very helpful. does give quite a bit of homework but gives enough time to complete it and then some. very helpful, just stop by her office. explains things clearly and doesn't waste time on parts of the class that will not be used in calc 3. highly recommended

This class, yes, has alot of work...but hello its college. And, the exercises only HELP! The lectures are to the point and clear. she does not mind if you stop her and ask questions(which i do ALOT of!) you have to pay attention, No texting!!! she speaks very clear and gives plenty of examples. I would def take her again!!!!

Dedeo made this class so much easier than other precal classes. Her test questions are taken directly from her notes. One problem is that she only gives a few questions for each quiz/exam so it's easier to do bad. The book was constantly used for homework (there was alot of it) and a quiz every week. She's alway a few minutes late to class.

She teaches really well. Crystal clear teacher! She does assign a bit of work but in the end it helps your grade and helps you learn as well.

Students give professors bad ratings only because of their inability to grasp the concepts. I've also had her for Foundations and I think she's a talented teacher...especially in Number Theory..now I've had my fair share in bad test scores, but who is else is going to correct me?---thats how people learn. I definitely would take her again

Dr. Dedeo is a great teacher, who makes number theory as doable as possible. This class CAN be done without taking foundations. Her HW takes a while but test questions come straight from them. She will explain and answer questions during office hours for as long as you want. She doesn't get half as much credit as she deserves!

Dr. Dedeo is straight, her book hw you can bs and still get a good grade, and her online quizes are easy and count for 20% of your grade. There are 2 midterms and a final, the midterms are easy and if you have brakeout you get mini quizes that are easy. I would reccomend her.

I liked this teacher a lot. Even though the class was a lecture, I still enjoyed it. She is very clear when she teaches and she gives enough homework and quizzes to keep your grade up. Definately do the work otherwise you will probably fail.

She has a passion for math and explained things throughly. Homework is due at the end of the week and quizzes are fairly easy. I would recommend her as a college algebra teacher!

Explains stuff throughly does plenty of examples in class. Homework and and quizzes on Fridays. Online quizzes are a PITA sometimes.

Dr. DeDeo is a great professor! She knows college algebra and the content well and does a good job explaining. The math breakout every Friday is when you turn in a quiz and homework. Easy A, as long as you pay attention, do the homework, and quizzes. I would recommend her for anyone! :)

Great teacher, she works with you as long as you put in the effort. I would recommend her to all my friends! One little tip is to do the online quizzes she gives you, they help you learn the material AND they can raise your grade a letter if you do them all. If I had done about 2 more I would have had a B lol.

This professor was really clear with the material she taught, and prepared us well for the tests. She was pretty easy going and made it easy to make a good grade for anyone that worked hard.

She is very clear when she teaches. Make sure you take notes and go to class everyday (attendance is not mandatory). Overall great teacher

Great class for people who need to learn Algebra. Lots of homework, and computer quizzes can be rough but they are pass/fail with unlimited tries. My previous math grades were bad and I may get an A in this class. If you know Algebra well, this class may have to much extra work but it helped me a ton. TA's vary I think Ningbo was great!

I would really recommend taking her class. She has a clear showing of interest in helping everyone succeed. If you go to class (although you don't have to), you do the homework, and study well then this class will be a breeze.

Had this professor for number theory, which happens to be her specialty. She was very knowledgeable in the subject and always willing to review and help. I took it over the summer so the only grades were tests and homework but overall a great professor.

She gives good, understandable notes. We had book assignments and computer assignments due at the end of every week. Go to class and do all of your assignments and you'll do well.

I would rather drive off a cliff than do math but this professor was actually willing to help. The material was difficult but her teaching is very clear (good handwriting too. Although she gives a ton of homework and weekly quizzes, if you try you'll do fine,

Best math teacher I've ever had. Really wants her students to pass. Go to class, take notes, and you will. Quizzes every week which are easy if you do a little studying. Available for help. Take her finite math for an interesting class and doable class if you want an A or B. Do the homework too

DeDeo is a pretty good professor. She goes fast and doesn't review for tests/quizzes, but when math is only two days a week in college, that should be expected. She gives a good amount of homework, but if you go to office hours (HIGHLY suggested) and pay attention in class, it'll be okay. She gives so much partial credit, so show your work!

Great Professor. Clearly written notes. Lots of homework. Attendance optional (GO TO CLASS!!!). Exams were extremely difficult (7-10 questions with multiple parts for each). Only two exams before the final. Weekly quizzes and HW due on quiz days normally. Dedeo wants her students to succeed, but this class was very difficult for me still.

Dr. Dedeo is one of the best professors I've taken. She is extremely clear during her lectures and is always willing to help her students. There's quite a bit of homework, but it's important to complete. I wish she taught calc for business because I would absolutely take her class again!

Dr. DeDeo is absolutely amazing!! She gives clearly written notes and is a huge help in office hours. She believes in me more than I could ever believe in myself and is the reason I'm a math major. Tips: do the homework early, go to office hours, and show your work on the exams--she's HUGE on partial credit. She's awesome! Take her!!

such nice prof omg. if you need anything, talk to her and she will most likely help you. the class time is super boring bc it is strictly lecture-based and she makes the content a lot harder than it is but go to the PASS sessions. it is mandatory to attend PASS but it will also be a lifesaver. The homework amount is also super insane. 3 exams btw.

I enjoyed the clear, concise explanations of the course topics. Her passion for math is evident in her lectures. She is very responsive and knowledgeable of the material. Although it was challenging, I learned a lot. Just do the work. On UNF's site, 20 of her last 22 classes scored over 4 out of 5 with high response rates. I highly recommend her.

EXTREMLY HELPFUL!!! She genuinely wants you to pass and gives you ample time to submit things. If you wanna put in the effort, then she will make sure you pass!

Prof. DeDeo is super nice and understanding, I had some problems with the software and understanding the material while I had her but she was always quick to help and was very lenient with deadlines. She cared more that we learned and passed than making her class really hard-- she wanted to make sure everyone passed. Respect 10/10

Great teacher, wants everyone to succeed and will give you ample opportunities to bring your grade up. Only downside is you have to handwrite all notes that go along with the lecture.

I took the online version of calculus and there's two midterms and a final. The course is EXTREMELY homework heavy, usually with two-three web assignments and a written homework consisting of anywhere from 30-60 questions due every week. There is also a quiz usually every week. She is very kind though.

Tough course with heavy workload, but prof is helpful if you engage. Use unstuck study alongside PASS sessions to ace the exams.

A wonderful professor! Her assignments were easy to understand since she provided notes to follow along with. Do be aware that she has assignments due every Thursday and Sunday, but I thought they were easy to complete and I normally struggle with math. The quizzes/tests were also very easy and gave you 3 attempts per question. I would take again!
