Awesome, fair and accurate. For an English class there may not be enough adjectives. She offers extra credit to increase your grade and her notes are better than the book. She spent a lot of time making sure we get the MLA citations correct. She cares and it shows.

The comments that are put on the rough drafts are very helpful. The activities done in class are also really helpful. The review of chapters wasnt very helpful for me. The links provided was a great resource. I wish class would not go so late.

The course helped me become a confident writer; secure a good score in TOEFL, and most importantly it changed my reading habits. Research process used in course helps make better reading inferences; and teaches ways to find credible information. This is the most important course at COD that led me to be critical thinker and effective communicator.

She's always willing to answer questions or help you out, very quick to respond to an e-mail. The essays can be a bit difficult to research, but she explains things pretty well.

I was in one of her a three and a half hour night classes. She is a great teacher. We wrote a variety of different essays, and on each one she gives great side notes. She actually takes time to read and analyze your writing. Very quick with responding to e-mails. I highly recommend her to any student who is or is not confident in their own writing.

Wonderful teacher. She was extremely helpful with each paper and patient when I consistently asked a thousand questions. I learned a lot from her class and the lessons were very comprehensive with a lot of class interaction (which I like). I would suggest Michelle for all, especially students returning to school after not attending for some time.

Easily one of the BEST teachers at COD. She is so helpful its crazy! Took the 8 week summer course and let me tell you it was a breeze! If you EVER have any problems she was always there to help! And offers like up to 20 extra credit points in the class as well! Being in class is a key though to understand how she wants you to write the papers

She reads off of a powerpoint and has a somewhat monotone voice, it can be difficult to stay awake in class. She covers everything of importance in her powerpoints and posts them online so you really don't need to read the text book. She is really nice, SUPER helpful, and responds to emails quickly! I would definitely recommend anyone to take her!

She is great teacher, special for students where the eanglish is a second language. Very helpful, she was able to help anytime during the short summer class. I will prefer to anybody to take the class with her.

I took Miss Go's English 1102 online course. We had to write four papers, all of which were very easy because we chose what we wrote about.You are required to peer edit for each. There was a research term paper about a set topic, but you choose your thesis. The class went quickly, but it was fun and she is very helpful. I definitely recommend her!

I took the 5 week online course for Enlish Comp 2. It was a lot of work in a short time. It was less work than a full 16 week class would have been. If you do the work you will do fine. The first three weeks only took about 4 hours a week of work and the last two weeks took about 12 hours each. (I work pretty fast)

This class is more work than it should be, but that is not the instructor's fault. She took a massive, boring, pointless research paper and all required elements of the course and distilled them down to clear, simple instructions and assignments. Professor Go is a generous grader, however she does expect you to put in the effort for the two attempts at each homework assignment. The feedback she gives is very clear, specific, and helpful. Not much feedback in terms of writing style but it was for a research paper.

Very easy English course where you analyze poems, not write them. Weekly assignments were straightforward and literally take up to 10 min each. Midterm was ok, just don't wait till last minute bc you have to research a poet. She grades very easy as long as you meet the word count and analyze, don't summarize. She offered ec once. Textbook required.

Always replies to email really fast. Convenient because assignments are due Monday night rather than Sunday night. One assignment a week, gives feedback if you turn in assignment earlier. Would definitely recommend over taking English in class.

Mrs. Go was AWESOME! Overall an easy A! I took her 8 week online course and there were a few assignments that were not that hard! The class started March 8 and I finished early. The major assignment was the research paper but she prepares you for it. She will let you do corrections to get full credit on assignments. No tests, no quizzes.

She is a tough grader but she is an English teacher....teaching English and how to do papers so its expected. She does give very clear feedback though, helps a lot, and answers questions you have. My favorite teacher at Dupage so far. Each week you only get assigned a part of the project which in the end you just have to combine into a final draft in a format of your choice. She lets you be creative with what you want to accomplish and I ended up having a lot of fun in the end. She provides well-written and thoughtful feedback to help.
