Think she isn't very good at teaching at all. Very spacy of a teacher when it comes to class notes.

She's very hard and she makes absolutely no sense at all.

I thought she was a horrible teacher. She gave no direction on what to study for in lecture. In lab she basically told you what you were going to have to teach yourself and was of no assistance at all.

Worst prof I have ever had. The class was a complete waste of time and money. I strongly suggest finding another prof that teaches the class or understand that if you take it with her you will be retaking the class at some point.

I agree with the person below me enitrely. For those who would like to have her for the major or not, think carefully and try not to believe anyone else who said about her. Only when you attend her class once, you will wonder how she can get her phd and become a professor.

WORST teacher i have ever had. i have taked 3 anatomy classes in the past 3 years and i still had no idea what she was saying in class. i was honestly better off just skipping the class and taking notes from the book.

Yes Anat&Phys is a difficult class but the way she teaches it makes it 10000 times more difficult. She relates everything to stupid horses (and this is human anatomy), she is so disorganized and has no lecture slides to follow at all. She just talks, writes randomly on the board, and is not helpful. Take Freymiller, much better.

Honestly,the worst I have ever done in a class was a c- & I still liked the teachers because they tried to help. Kettler is so confusing and rude when it comes to helping and probably the worst professor I have ever had.I cried many nights because of her and still had to withdraw from the course.DO NOT TAKE HER! What everyone says on here is true!

This class was extremely difficult. Multiple hours are needed to succeed on lab exams, but the lecture exams are much easier. Lectures are extremely boring and people do not show up or pay attention. Regardless of who you have, this class will be difficult. If you study and read the book you will hopefully do well. GOOD LUCK.

EXTREMELY hard and her information is all over the place and not easy to follow and not clear. Lectures are VERY boring. I was excited to take this class until I had her. Avoid talking her if possible but if you have to take her all i say to you is GOOD LUCK!

AVOID KETTLER! She turned me away from my chosen major & I almost transferred out of UW-EC. She's mean, spiteful, & unorganized. She’s obsessed with horses & equine research; maybe she should just stick with animals! Figuring out what she wants you to know for labs & exams is impossible. I read the texts & studied the labs but only just passed.

I can't say enough times to steer clear of Kettler. Very very poor communication skills, be prepared to cross out majority of the notes where she will just ramble (she writes how she talks) majority of my study time was not spent studying the material but sifting through her notes that are clear as a swamp. Lab? try "teach yourself for 3 hours"

Dr. Kettler is the worst teacher I have ever had. Expect to be your own teacher on 60 or more pages of notes. There are 10 exams, all of which are very hard and even if you understand all of the material, the wording of the questions will make you get them wrong. Also, she is not a nice person, even the janitors are scared of her.

Dr. Kettler is the worst professor UWEC has. She does NOT care if you succeed in the class or not. Very lazy with her teaching. Just a miserable class overall. DO NOT TAKE HER.

this is a tough class, be ready to teach yourself cause she won't teach you at all. Lectures are pointless because she reads straight from her notes she gives you, only thing she gives are exams so make sure you study.

Dr. Kettler is the worst professor Ive ever had and its not even close. Lecture is pointless unless you get off on listening to senile elderly ladies read off a computer screen for an hour. Her notes are more challenging to read than hieroglyphics. Dont waste your time going to her office hours for help. Don't take unless held at gunpoint.

Her lectures are very dry and pointless as all of the notes (like a million pages) are online and all she does is read off of the slides. She expects you to learn a lot of the material on your own. Her 10 exams are extremely hard. The class is hard to begin with, and she VERY but not a good professor. I never asked for help because she sacres me.

Worst professor ever! Went to her for help and advice and she told me there's nothing she can do. Don't know why, but took her twice: first time I got a C, second time I withdrawal because I was failing. Her multiple choices are hard, her lab exams are harder. Lab exams include timing and moving around the classroom, literally. Avoid her.

I only gave her a 1 for quality because I had to. Worst professor I've ever had, and possibly the worst human being I've had the misfortune of meeting. She won't help you if you go to her office hours. She won't explain things in lab because you can just 'follow my notes'.

Michelle Kettler is the WORST professor I have EVER taken. I needed Bio 214 as it was a required class for my major, but I would never (and I mean never) take from her or recommend her to anyone. In her lectures she reads verbatim what is on the slides, she is never straightforward as to what will be on the lab exams and always blindsides you.

Lazy, in lab she will NOT interact unless you ask a question and then she refers you to the book. You basically teach yourself, all she does is read her Powerpoints in lecture. No interaction with students. Doesn't care if you learn, only if you can memorize and dump. Terrible class for pre-medical professional students.

This class was impossible to get an A. It is completely self taught and its on everything. She reads off her notes in class and does no teaching herself, the only way to do well is to memorize every word of her notes. Lab exams were IMPOSSIBLE. Had to drop the class, never got better than a C- on any exam.

Lots of material on all tests. During lecture she just sits and reads bullet points that are the same thing in your note packets and she never explains anything. You basically have to teach yourself! Lecture tests arent horrible but lab ones are super tough! Very hard class and would strongly recommend choosing a different professor if possible!!

She reads off the slides so it is pretty much a self-taught class. Grades very tough when it comes to lab grades- if one letter difference answer is marked down. All of the grades are just from tests so get ready to study.

In class, she just reads word for word off the slides, which are online so you pretty much just teach yourself. Lab exams are very difficult and all exams cover an insane amount of information. Do NOT take this class if you don't have to, no reason to put yourself through this torture for nothing.

Quite literally the worst professor I have ever had. Lab and lecture exams are unpredictable in content and the entire class is self-taught as she does not speak in lab and only reads bullet points off ppt's in lecture. Avoid at all costs if you can.

Expect to teach yourself everything. In lecture she goes from one topic to another without saying why or where to next so you never know what to write down. It is almost impossible to take notes too because she starts talking and wont stop to take questions or give you time to write down what she said

She is an all around awful professor. Would never take this class with her. If you raise you hand in class she makes direct eye contact with you and continues on with her "lecture". I only gave her a 1 because you have to

She is hands down the worst professor I have ever had to learn from. She does not teach but TELLS months work for a kins, chemistry, and bio class in just weeks. There is an incredible amount of apathy towards the class and she just doesn't care about the students learning. Youll get told hundreds of terms a week and expected to know them for exam

Honestly, why does she even have a job as an educator? She shows very miniscule knowledge in the field of anatomy, she just reads of her slides and shows apparent annoyance at the presence of questions. AVOID IF POSSIBLE

Kettler was by far the worst professor that I have had at UWEC. She is very intelligent and knows what she is talking about, but she flies through lectures and does not stop for questions. During lab, she sits at the front of the room and doesn't say a single word. If you can, avoid at all costs.

There's this thing adults do when they have worked their entire lives and are ready to relax for the remainder of it. That thing is called retirement, something Dr. Kettler should consider. It is very apparent that she is ready to be done teaching. Some would say she doesn't even teach anymore; just grades.

At the beginning of the semester the class was completely full by the end we had MAYBE 50 students. Lab is self directed. You can ask her questions but she does not give clear answers. I studied A LOT before exams and rarely got above a C. Lectures are pointless to go to. She does not provide additional useful information AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

She does not care how you do in her class. Does not use Canvas, uses W-drive (like what?). You have to take 10 exams, one every week and that is all you have towards your grade. Class is pointless to go to prepare to teach yourself everything. My only advice, read the whole textbook and use her notes to take the exam if it is an online class.

You will not use Canvas for this class if online. You have to access a W-Drive from school, huge hassle. 10 exams tot, lec exams are 60 multiple choice, lab exams are 30 fill in blank. Get a few days to work on them luckily. Use her notes and textbook. Terrible professor, but happy it was online so I didn't have to deal with her inperson. Good luck
