She is so easy i cant even stand it i never went to class and just showed up for the tests and i still got an "A"
Exclent teacher! She explains everything and is very clear!!!!! Highly recommended!
great teacher, explains very well and gives you notes for EVERYTHING. tests qizes and final all open note.
She is great, her class is not hard and you learn a lot, she is a really nice person

Great teacher. I learned a lot thru the class and would recommend her to everyone.
good teacher, but demands alot as far as homework, projects is concerned. hw/project is required every week.
Emphasis is not on algorithms, if that is your pursuit. She does go through fundamentals but focused primarly on the language itself. Python is very simple compared to other languages. Must attend all classes, weekly quizes, and projects are a must. Read ahead, use the ppt for notes, definitely not a class worth procrastinating in. Gotta stay ahead
she requires lots and lots of homework and projects. demands alot for a intro to programming class. good teacher just dont take her if u work or are taking 3 or more classes, as it will be hard to handle all the work.

Levine is wonderful teacher, recommended, but don't take this class if you have no interests in programming. She is always available to help out. C++ is not easy, but with her explanations, it makes sense. Projects are challenging to complete, but it is a great challenge and go see her office for questions, she will help you simplify the projects.
Great teacher!
Great teacher! Even though the stuff she teaches isn't easy, she was always very helpful and took the time to explain whatever wasn't clear. Definitely studied for her class but learned a whole lot!
Very knowledgeable of the material and willing to help students understand the material
She's great! C++ can be difficult, and I don't recommended it to anyone until they take intro to programing with Python first or had recent prior programing knowledge. Michelle Levine > Kevin Carey any given day of the week. She knows how to teach programing, she doesn't punish you severely for making mistakes, and her projects are pretty fun!
My first online course. I was a little afraid of what to expect, but after finishing, i don't think any online course can go as smooth as this one did. The grading scale is simple & with just a little effort you will all get an A. The teacher is helpful, caring & always there for you. 100% recommended. I wouldn't ask for anything more. no problems!
she is one of the most caring and sweet lady ever one can find. She knows how to teach plus extremely fair when it comes to grade. I didn't know anything about programming but I really enjoy this new knowladge that I have obtained. I do recomend to everyone who need to take programming. she is always available and you wont regret.
She's one of the best professors I ever had teach me. I had her for both COP1000C (Intro. to Programming) and COP1334(Intro. to C++). She makes you work but it will pay off.
teacher demands alot but alot of you, gives you lots of homework programing and textbook wise. she seam to be absent more than the students which made it hard to learn with a substitute teacher. very hard class for it to be intro to programming. she explained like we were supposed to know it already.
Gives a homework assignment about every two weeks and most of the time lets you do it in class. Very thorough in covering material and very willing to help if you don't understand (in class or in her office). A few quizzes, two exams and two projects. The work is involved but not overwhelming and you have plenty of time to complete the work (provid
She can be sweet but failed to deliver the content in a way that every student could understand. She assumed they understood. Pretty much worked at her own pace. Plenty of homework and quizzes
One thing nice about her is that she is fair in grading. Too many quizes which can be difficult for an average student to catch up. Have to pay a lot of attention in class, because she is sometimes hard to understand when comes to deliver lectures and concepts. She expects a lot from students.
She's nice, fair, and helpful, but she needs to improve the way she teaches. It was very hard for many students to keep up. She assumes that they understand the stuff and goes really fast. Even if you pay attention, most of the time you'll still don't get it and you can't read the book and figure out on you own. You'll get a homework every week.
She is nice. She gives assignments in bundles. Most test are hands on. Attendance is important. If you have an idea about computers, and do all the work (not hard, just time consuming) you'll pass.I got an A
She goes way too fast for first time learners, even people with experience have a hard time understanding her. Too many homeworks and quizzes. Tricky on quizzes and exams. Not recommended for someone that has no experience in C++. She also have a big project for you to do, besides all the extra work she makes you do. She demands a lot of work.
Don't take the class with her if this is the first time you taking this class. Horrible teaching. Extra homeworks, quizzes and projects. Hard, tricky and confusing!!!!!
I think she wants to teach professionals and not new learners. She gives too much to do. If you work or have other classes and don't know nothing about C++, then think twice about taking the class with her. She goes way too fast for beginners.
Took her online class. All the quizes were STUNTS! She claimed all the material was in the book but I didn't see it. Moves very fast so get ready for stunts and shows with her!Just be careful of her.
really nice, helpful. easy. goes over everything in class. tests are all hands on. just go to class theres no reason you should pass with anything less than an A. HW assignments are super easy its all hands on also
BORING!!! that about sums it up
Great teacher. even when i thought i did poorly on a test i did ok just talk to her about ur problems you have and she help u as best as she can sometime she even give u the answer no obviously but its there.
i didn't like this professor at all. she gives A LOT OF WORK... i mean a lot of work.... out of every class i have ever had she was by far the hardest and busiest....i spent more time on useless computer quizzes and simulations than any other class (even math). i wouldn't take her. shes nice shes just not my cup of tea...
She is a good teacher. She makes sure that the class understands what is going on, and gives a review for the tests and quizzes. If you fail her class it's your fault.
Very kind and flexible Professor. Do your work and you'll do well in her class. There are practice tests that will prepare you for the final. She also gives an extra credit opportunity.
I took her class online. it was decent but VERY time consuming.she takes her job REALLY seriously. practice tests are long and assignments take about 45 minutes. if ur looking for an online class and a quick A. THIS IS NOT THE CLASS FOR YOU. P.S EMAILING HER ABOUT PROBLEMS IS POINTLESS. SHE DOESNT HELP
Teaching is a skill that this professor has definitely mastered. She is able to make any topic crystal clear and doesn't mind going over a topic if requested. This class is no walk in the park, but if you attend all classes and put in the necessary effort you will pass with an A
Book is required for this class to do the online work, barely use it personally. A lot of time consuming with work online. she give you some days to do work in class. i really wouldn't recommend her but its an easy class.
Excellent teacher! Great communication, knowledge of subject, Helpfulness. Not easy, but fair. One of my favorites!
Great lady, EASY A, perosnally i didnt really use the textbook that much, tests were annoying but simple, nothing bad to say about her
She is a great professor, very clear, knowlegeable, helpful and cares about students. I am taking her for Computer Programing with Phython and I enjoy attend her class. Very interesting subject and very ease-going teacher. I RECOMMEND HER FOR EVERYONE!
What an amazing teacher. She is just what any student expects from a professor. You'll learn the subject with many labs and projects + one midterm and one final. Absolutely recomend her.
She is what all students expect from a teacher!! She is knowledgeable, helpful, clear like a crystal, knows how to teach in the best way. I am taking her for Computer Programing and I am extremely satisfied. I learned a lot and enjoy attending her class. TAKE HER!!!
I LOVED HER COURSE!!! If you wanna learn computer programing in the easier way, take her! If you are looking for a professor konwlegeable and well organized, take her! Nobody can write any bad comment about her because she is what every student expects from a postsecondary teacher. TAKE HER if you are lucky!
I'm happy having learned from this professor. She will actually teach you how to program. She does, like a lot say, give a lot of work, but believe me, you'll need the practice. Programming is tough and you need the repetition. She's a very nice person, with a nice sense of humor also. Just go to class and do your work... trust me, you'll pass.
Amazing teacher, highly recommended@
This class is not easy and requires a lot of work, but she is an excellent teacher. She is always willing to assist during her office hours.
Tons of homework, during spring break we had to do a big project so we didn't get to enjoy our break. After we got back from spring break the class picked up in difficulty to an insane level and 60% of people dropped the class. Seems like a good professor but seems she was too distracted to teach effectively this past term.
Nothing particularly terrible or great to say. She gives lots of work. She is easy to get along with and offers lots of help. Recommended over most of the other CS professors.
One of the best instructors I've ever had. Incredibly respectful of even the stupid people (which garnered a lot of respect from me), very clear lectures on a difficult topic, and chose a great textbook unlike my other classes. She adjusts the class and grading depending on class comprehension and uses various teaching methods. Very impressive.
Very sweet and attentive but not organized. Most classes she seemed frazzled and distracted and went off into unnecessary tangents and wasting time. Her lectures were agonizing boredom and sometimes she couldn't figure out what was wrong with her code. Kind of rushed the last bit of the curriculum which was a pain on the final project.
Professor Levine is one of the best instructors I've had. I had her for 1000C and I have her now for 1334C. She is very great at teaching a huge tedious programming language. Yes there is a lot of homework and yes the projects are big but it is for OUR benefit! You cannot expect to learn to program without the practice. I highly recommend her.
Professor Levine is the sweetest (and hottest) teacher I've ever had, but she is also one of the best!!
Best programming Professor ever! She really knows how to communicate, explain and deconstruct abstract concepts; plus she is positive and cares about the students. If you do your job as a student you will have no problem passing with a good grade. There is some simple math involved so don't whine about it, cuz MAC is a pre-req!
Great professor, There is a lot of work, but if you are serious about programming then it is necessary. She is very helpful and nice. Don't skip any classes or else you can fall behind and learning this on your own can be challenging.
LOVE HER!! She knows a lot about programming and she helped me with my homework after class. If you need help, go see her whenever possible and she will be right there to help. She speaks crystal clear.
Professor Levine is a very interesting person. She loves what she does and tries to get as many people to understand coding. She knows not all people are capable of it but does her best to get everyone to where they want to be. Lectures are fast don't miss class and don't space out. Expect 1 assignment a week and an easy quiz almost every class.
Amazing teacher. I am planning to take another class with her
Best team I had in college. You will learn. As long as you care, she will pass you/ you can get an A. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Took 2 courses with her
Best lecturer I have ever been in her class, she do not lecture but teaches(You will definitely understand what she taught). Excellent, patient, mentoring.
Best professor I've had. She keeps things as simple as possible, and if you don't understand something, she breaks it down for you. She's very friendly and wants everyone to pass. If you're willing to learn and practice the material, you will land an A in her class. Highly recommend this teacher!
Very nice teacher and will give you so much help and extra credit when needed. She also offers internship opportunities very often. The downside is that she gives written exams that make you write out code and halfway turns into an unnecessary PEMDAS math test. Also some of her lectures are very drawn out for pretty simple concepts.
LOVE HER!! She is an amazing professor. So enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and helpful. I would take her class again in a heart beat. Her directions are clear, she assigns a lot of class work and homework but it is for your own personal benefit, especially in a programming class! HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Professor Levine was probably the best professor I could've had for C++. She was very helpful and she really does care about her students. There is a lot of group -work (classwork) and homework, but it helps a lot. Most of her quizes and tests are open notes. She gives loads of extra credit opportunities and helps if you have questions. TAKE HER!
Really good professor. Definitely one of the best in the computer science department. Take her
Prof Levine was VERY unorganized. Listed the wrong textbook, I lost my $. Would plan a lecture & cancel the last min repeatedly. Lots of MPL hw inc more labs she would assign per chapter. Info for her labs were not in the book or the notes which made them difficult. Plus, a class project that was never explained. Would not take this prof. again.
I tried to take this her class and would email or try and calling during her office hours and would wait DAYSSS for a response, to the point where I had to DROP the class so it wouldn't effect my GPA. Highly upset. Her online course is very disorganized. Will now have to repurchase this class and the $116.00 access code!!!
Unless you know Python already, don't bother. Her assignments are way more advanced than hers and the textbook examples. She's terrible at responding to emails and messages. She'll take points off even though your code does exactly what it's supposed to because she nitpicks and doesn't like when you do something slightly different. Wish I dropped.
Professor Levine is the best. She truly cares about her students and wants them to succeed. Pay attention in class, work on your assignments and you will do well. I took Programming I and II with her and those where by far the best classes I have taken at BC
If you actually want to learn programming this is your lady BUT you won't have a good time doing it. Expect to be working on dozens of lab assignments, a group project, weekly homework assignment and quizzes all at the same time. She wants you to code HER way. Even if your stuff runs she'll have you redo everything to her liking which was weird :/
She definitely cares about all of her students, she is a great professor and Broward College is lucky to have her!
BEST PROFESSOR EVER! I would rate her 10 starts if it was possible. Professional, courteous and always pushing you to be the best version of yourself as a person and a student. I took COP1250C AND COP2251C with her and I miss her class every single day! Show up, do the work and get ready to meet the most inspirational Professor you will meet!
Prof. Levine is a great professor. I wouldn't say her assignments are hard, she just pushes you to actually use your brain. She is extremely helpful and doesn't really want anyone to fail her class. Overall if you want to actually learn how to do something the right way she's the professor for you. I look forward to taking more classes with her.
She is kind & has good intentions. But she's unorganized, you search all over the place for everything & instructions change often. She's EXTRA, easily distracted & contradictory. TONS of weekly work & group project goes the entire semester, which is torturous. Class went from 0 to 100 in 2 weeks, NOT for beginners or full time workers. Overkill.
very work heavy course! tons of labs+quizzes/exams+tough homework assignments (coding)+a group project that is is assigned at the beginning of the class that requires a lot of time. It was an ok class but i wouldnt recommend her if your taking a lot of other classes cuz the work gets difficult very fast
She is awesome! One of the best professors at BC without a doubt. She is very knowledgeable and responds quickly to emails. There are quizzes and HW every week and a project that lasts the whole semester. Highly recommend if you actually want to learn.
She's an amazing professor who you can tell absolutely cares about her students and is very involved. The subject of the class is difficult but the way she teaches it and even records lessons (live attendance for extra credit) make understanding the concepts that much more easier. As long as you pay attention and do the work you will pass.
Brilliant professor. Professor Levine goes above and beyond for her students. She is very serious about her job, but sweet when explaining the difficult parts of her assignments. If it were up to me I would take her for any and every class. She is well respected.I am indebted to her passing of her knowledge forever. Brilliant and kind.
Professor Levine is very understanding. Do the work and try your best. Youll do fine.
One of the best programming teachers I ever had! She works with you and wants to understand the concepts. There is a lot of examples that she uses to help students understand the assignments. She's very patient, really helped me to enjoy programming, and motivated me to continue coding.
I would not recommend this class if you have no prior knowledge of Python. This class felt more self-taught. You are expected to complete coding assignments that grow tougher as you go. She'll want you to code her way, and the codes used in the book are not useful for the assignments. Should not have taken this class.
Great professor who is very accessible outside of class.
She is really nice and very respectful and is open to giving extensions. Be polite and respectful to her and she will do the same to you. Great professor! 10/10 amazing!
this was my first ever programming class and it honestly wasn't bad. read the book and watch/attend her zoom meetings!! even though i struggled with some of the coding, all i had to do was email her with my code and she would give great feedback on what i was doing wrong. she also replies quick!
The work was very easy to understand and complete. If you needed help with an assignment, you could always email her and she would help. It was very easy for me to understand as Python mainly is just common sense. She hosted unit reviews through Zoom for every unit. It was not mandatory, but if you did attend it, you received extra credit.
The class isn't hard but its a lot if you don't actively try to learn the Python. Each chapter builds on the last so retaining what you learn is important. Prof Levine is extremely helpful. You can email your code to her and she will tell you what needs to be changed. If you attend the voluntary zoom calls, it's counted as extra credit.
Very nice, caring and understanding! Great teacher 5 stars!
This profesor is amazing. Very caring and very kind. Let's you submit late, do group projects on your own, answers emails very fast, gives helpful feedback. I got into this class having NO knowledge on programming and I never felt super lost doing the assignment. She is very understanding and the assignments are fun too. 100/10
There aren't enough words to describe how amazing this Professor is. She is the true definition of someone who has a genuine passion for teaching. She will guide you and help you in every way. She never gave up on me, no matter how often I asked for help. Making her one of the most brilliant professors I've had the privilege of learning from.
The professor is bubbly and nice, but she's not very beginner-friendly for a introductory course. The assignments are numerous, grading was tough, I didn't receive any help. Her explanations are geared toward advanced students with prior exposure, making it difficult to learn in the course. I had to study using outside sources to grasp the material
She was a great professor she offers extra credit during the semester. if you are doing her fully online courses for the class just be prepared to watch very long videos that requires typing this class will take up some of your time but overall she is great!
