Funny teacher. Interesting, fun class!!

I think she's cool. No complains at all!

I thought this class wasnt all that difficult. You definitly had to study for the tests, but I didnt think they were that hard. Not many homework assignments either.

Lactures are clear and easy to understand. Michelle has a very unique style of teaching you'l have to be in the class to understand what I mean by that. Highly Recommended for intro to psych.

I have good grades in my other classes, but this one I did really bad, she wasn't flexible at all we had a lot of homework daily, and the most important thing is that i don't even remember what I learn because I was so stress out about my assignments than anything else, if you work and go to school don't take this class.

Excellent instructor. It is your own fault if you do poorly, she goes out of her way to let you know what is expected. To get a 4.0, simply attend class, read the textbook and takes notes. GREAT teacher. Her lectures are interesting and she gives excellent examples for everything. She gives you exactly what you need to know for every test. Just don't miss class and study what she tells you to and you'll get an A.

I took Michelle probably 10 years ago, and I still remember her lectures. When you are in her class, you don't take lots of notes because her lectures are great and you just retain the material because it's interesting. It's a good way to learn when you don't even realize it's happening. Good to know she's still there at Highline.

Tough grading but great instructor!

She was a great teacher. Take notes and come to class everyday and you'll pass with flying colors. There are a total of 7 tests including the final, and your lowest grade is dropped. I aced the first 6 tests and ended up not having to take the final. =) I absolutely recommend her.

manber is hilarious. it was my first class of the day so 90% of the time i would come blazed outta my mind, but she always had me crackin up.

I took Intro and human sexuality with Michelle. I definately reccomend her classes. She makes it interesting, and it's easy. I had a 4.0 with no problem, I never even read the chapters. She is HILARIOUS.

Great teacher! If you have a 4.0 you don't have to take the final. Her lectures were interesting. Overall her class was easy.

took her for human sexuality. really great with extra credit points. grades tough on papers. likes people who participate a lot. gives you study guides before ever test. really wants every student to do well. kind of kooky &fun.

When you start this class, you will receive something call, "The 6 Hour D" take its advice. Throw away flash cards and rushing through the reading. Understand your materials well and the tests won't be so bad. Careful, because her tests questions are somewhat tricky. Her papers are easy; go into details and turn it in early for the maximum grade.

Manber was the best teacher I have ever had. She lectures and in her lectures, goes at a pace you can follow. She also provides an outline of each chapter and what you need to know for the test. She makes everything crystal clear and class is super funny. Come to class everyday. Easy 4.0

VERY good teacher! She makes thing fun and interesting! She gives you study guides but you have to make sure to take notes in her class because if you don't studying for the tests will be very difficult! Her Tests are EXTREMELY EASY! they are all multiple choice with a few short answers! I recommend her

amazing teacher. shes really funny and its easy to understand her. always do the bonus points on assignments. the class is easy if you study for her tests and do all the assignments. best teacher in highline so far, would definatly recomend her.

She is a great teacher! If you want to do well in this class you need to be there every day and take VERY CLEAR NOTES almost all the questions on her exams are based off her lectures!!!

GREAT TEACHER!!! She teaches you everything and you don't even need to read your book! As long as you show up to class you're guaranteed to get a 4.0 She has 3 papers and her tests which if you attend class are really easy :) I'd recommend her any day :)

She is a very good teacher! She's very clear on her instructions and is obviously extremely knowledgeable of her course information. She is excited and energetic in class everyday which creates a great learning environment.

she is easy, all you gotta do is study her notes and make sure you understand the concepts, her tests are of the notes in class, have to memorize the study guid sheet in order to pass her tests, she is easy, funny, and energetic....i recommand her:)

probably the easiest class i've taken at highline. and definitely my favorite! i didn't even have to read the textbook, except for a few questions on the study guides. super easy to follow and keeps you interested! wrie everything she writes on the bored and study it and you should be fine! I officially love psychology! :)

I RECOMMEND you to take her class! She's very helpful and more than welcome you come to her office hours to get help. She explains her lecture clearly.Even though this is my first time to take PSY class, I can understand her and follow what she explains about. :)

Best teacher you could take Psychology from. She tells you everything that she will test you on without exception, and the final is optional. Every single lecture is interesting and she doesn't give worthless information in the process. Take from her, such a good teacher.

Dr. Michele is awesome! She will always ask if there are any questions,so there really isy no choice but to do well unless you don't take advantage of her knowledge and structure she puts into this class. Very interesting class to go to, and she's hilarious! I make my husband watch her lectures on tegrity! If you have to take psych, take Michele!!

One of the my favorite class that I've ever been to. Super interesting, everything on the test are on the you should know list and you barely need to use the book. Michele explains well and has taught me a lot I didn't know before.

Amazing teacher for my first quarter at Highline. She is very clear with everything you need to know and makes great use of all class time. Everything you need to get perfect scores on tests are in her study guide and she records her classes so you can watch them if you were absent or want to review. Very nice, very helpful. Highly recommended!

One of my favorite classes at highline, when I took her. She's funny and interesting and tells you everything that will be on the test. Her lectures aren't boring and just being in her class opened my eyes to many things. I absolutely lived this class.

Manber is great. Her office hours are also great plus you can make an appointment with her. She is very organized and she is always making room for questions/comments in her lecture. Her quizzes and tests are well-organized. There's a quiz before every test. There are 2 papers. Lots of extra credit.

i loved going to her class! she is very organized and knows her material. She always has an exaple and a story (almost always funny) to back up the new info she is giving, which makes it very easy to remember. I never read the book (only whats on the study guide) and got a good grade. but make sure to read the test Q's carefully (kind of tricky)

very funny and is always telling stories, which never made class boring. if ever missed a class, she would put up a recording of that day online. overall the tests are easy as long as you study and is a great teacher.

Her class wasn't easy. She makes the student work for their grade, you can't just 'wing it' on the tests either. Almost all of the questions on the tests are application based so you need to know your stuff. But if you study the study guide and go for the extra credit opportunities, you'll be good

There's a test every week, but they're easy! As long as you study, you will get an A+. The tests are very straightforward and she drops your lowest test grade. She records all of her lectures and posts them online. The material is super interesting. Practically no homework, only three paper assignments throughout the quarter. She's very laid back!

Michelle is very enthusiastic and funny, well atleast I found her funny. I don't want to sugar coat anything but you actually have to try in that class. The quizzes are easy because they're on canvas but you're responsible to remember when to take them and that screwed me up. Don't skip her class even tho she does't take attendance. STUDY hard!!

She's nice and gives good feedback; however it really depends what you're majoring in. If you're majoring in Biology then don't take her, but PSYCH, CMST, and Sociology take. 2-3 papers and 7 exams all multiple choice (lowest gets dropped).Canvas quiz weekly Follow study guide and get the papers done asap because there's no weighted average scale.

I loved Manber's class she is a great professor. There is some reading to do but the lessons are very interesting. Come to class everyday even though her lectures are posted on canvas. It's important that you go though. Her lectures were always interesting I had a lot of fun in this class. I learned new things and she is a great professor!!!

Michelle was a pretty good teacher. There were only 2 assignments the whole quarter, not TOO many tests, she posted her lectures online everyday in case you don't go to class, there was ALOT of reading, testers were kind of difficult, she is very laid back, and easy to talk to. She knows her stuff & is passionate about her subject. Overall alright

She tends to talk fast at times, but consistently pauses for questions and time to catch up. She records her lectures on panopto which is very helpful if you miss a class, but don't rely heavily on recordings - very quiet and not the greatest image clarity. Makes lectures interesting, and she is quite a character. Would take again definitely!

The subject is easy, but Michelle is a very tough grader when it comes to the analysis papers that are based off of guest speakers rather than the text. Those analysis papers are worth a decent chunk of the grade too! The tests are mostly based off of the lectures and are pretty easy.

Wrote a couple papers in the Qtr. I didn't really use my book, her lectures are very informational. As long as you attend class, take notes you will pass the class with an easy A.

This is my second taken with Michele. She gives amazing lectures and she is very funny. She also cares about your grade and if you're willing to work with her, you're going to pass the class with an easy A. Attendance is very chilax since you can watch her lectures on Panopto. Test questions have a lot of to with her lectures so take good notes!

Even though the book is required, you can still get a decent grade without it. Her lectures are amazing but you have to come to the class. A lot of people drop out once they realize how much work this class would be, but once you get used to it and actually try it once, it's not that bad after all. She is willing to help anyone whenever she can.

If you want a good grade, get ready to read the book on your own. Got a 4.0 in the class, but never studied class notes only learned from book. Best part is extra credit and professor posts videos of lecture on canvas.

I was a little nervous going into this class because she had mixed reviews. But seriously, she's such a great prof. Her lectures are AMAZING and gives the best examples/stories to go along with the topics. STUDY HER STUDY GUIDES! Everything you need to know for tests! She's a bit of a tough grader on papers, but she offers help outside of class :)

Two papers (can grade a little tough) and nine tests. Lowest score is dropped/can miss a test, so final is optional. Canvas quizes due two days prior to test. Extra credit offered.

Loved her examples she used during her lectures. It really helped with understanding the criteria. Make sure you understand it because that is what she will test on. Other than the 300 point test we had every other week, I really enjoyed her class and I liked the challenge.

I loved Michelle! Told you exactly what was on the test and all multiple choice. However, she was a little bit of a tough grader on essays. All lectures are posted online but, audio is hard to hear.

TONS of extra credit opportunities. I loved a class with Manber. Her lectures are fun and she really makes you understand. She replies to emails very quickly and if you visit her in her office for feedback on your paper, she will give you amazing feedback. Take Manber!!!

Here's some advice when taking Manber. START PAPERS VERY EARLY! then you can go to her office as many times as you like and she will proofread. With every paper, you can get 20 extra credit points By getting the paper in early and going to the writing center. With tests Only study what's on the You should know list, tests are based on lecture

2 papers: easy, look @ examples in syllabus and copy formal w ur info. offers to look at essays before due date & gives really good feedback. lots of easy extra credit opportunities. 7 short & easy tests, go over all info in class so just write down what she writes. if u miss class, recordings are up on her website. there r 2000+ points available

One of the best professors I've had! Very enthusiastic, absolutely great at teaching. It is a lot of note taking, but she makes it enjoyable. There are 6 tests and 1 comprehensive final, plus quizzes for each test, and two writing assignments. Lots of extra credit options, I definitely recommend taking this course!

She was super nice and was very good at teaching. She records everything so if you miss a class it's okay. she has online quizzes which really help if you try them and if you don't have time or the answers are all online. She has 6 exams including the final and can drop one. Which are easy, You also write two papers which were the hardest part.

Pretty good professor. She is really interesting during lectures. The work is pretty easy and simple. The exams are multiple-choice, but a little tricky sometimes. There are some extra credit opportunities. There are 2 papers and I recommend going to her office to get help before turning them in.
