Great teacher does a good job teaching, and is always willing to answer questions and go into further explanation. Her testing is fair, and she prepares you for it. I would recommend her to anyone!!!

I took her for Financial and Managerial Acctg. She was very helpful and made sure you understood the work. She wants you to pass but its up to you to make the effort to learn and ask questions.

Great teacher. I took a night class and she would almost always let us go a little early. You might have to actually study in order to get a good grade. But I can honestly say I only studied for the last exam. and i still got a B.

Got an A in both her Financial and Mangerial classes. Not an "easy" teacher...an A requires some effort of your own, but she will go out of her way to help you during or after class. Speaks a little fast sometimes. And if you're a guy, you'll find it's easy to pay attention to her, as she has to be the hottest professor I've ever had.

Not a hard class to pass. You know what is expected from the start. She gives extra credit on all tests and there are a couple of quizzes that are just for extra credit. She will help you with whatever you need; you just need to ask her. Make sure you read the chapters before class or you will be lost.

Took her financial class this summer and now im in her managerial. Seriously, she is so hot its almost impossible to not pay attention lol. The subject is pretty tough, it takes alot of effort. Professor Martinez is an excellent teacher and not too bad to look at either! The assignments are all online for this lecture based course... you get 2 chances at most assignments, and you see what you got wrong after the first submission... if you get less than an A in this class, you're really not trying. Pros: Very easy to get a hold of Friendly Unlimited attempts on homework, 2 attempts on quizzestests. Cons: VERY high workload Each week's assignments are due on Sunday at 5pm rather than 11:59pm for some weird reason. Uses Cengage instead of MyLab.

Took her class in 2009 and couldn't help myself to not soak in her beauty. Would have gotten an 'A' had her looks not constantly distracted me. Aside from her smoking hotness, she's very intelligent and knows her stuff. If you're serious about accounting and love classroom eye candy, she's got you covered from both angles ;)

Great attitude and is extremely responsive, which the latter is rare at HCC. I took the class online and liked the recorded lectures. Buy the additional material (slides + problems) that they sell you at the bookstore otherwise you'll have to print a couple hundred pages at home. My only compliant is more work than my accelerated class.

She is an AMAZING teacher. She gives so much extra credit, it's really not possible to fail unless you opt out of doing homework. There IS homework, and it's EVERY week. It's online, and open book. Not difficult if you pay attention. She's very clear and organized as far as presentation. I encourage anyone who needs accounting, take her!

Extra credit ops! Take your time with the homepage of the website. It's it a bit busy and takes a few days to get use to. VERY helpful and caring. Books and programs a little spendy. I just transferred to USF and to get into their accounting program you have to take a competency exam. Based on taking her for financial and managerial, I was able to pass that test. Took this class online and it was very thorough . There is alot of assignments due but most arent too difficult. She is quick to respond to any questions. The finals are long but if you do your homework you should do good. I lost my dad mid semester and she was very very helpful and worked with my assignments i missed .

Ok, it is official that everyone loves Prof Martinez, including me. One thing I do want to mention is that if you are taking her two accounting classes online, you won't learn anything unless you try. It is really easy just to do assignments, but if you have to take an official accounting test, I do not recommend her to learn. I switched majors.

In all my time here this course is one of the best courses I've taken from HCC. It is a well structured and well thought out class, mainly due to this teacher's course set up. The professor sets you up for success and provides every opportunity for you to succeed. I have never had a professor who cares so much. TAKE her for accounting!

(Almost obsolete) She made a 1000+ page workbook for her ACG 2021 students, and it makes a usually awful class enjoyable. Amazing teacher. Mrs. Martinez was amazing!!! She is the sweetest human ever and cares about her students so much! lots of homework due each module but it is set up clearly with lots of extra helpful videos on how to complete. Also lots of extra credit!!!!

I would personally take her class again, even though I took a six week course. It was a lot of work of course because it was a shorter length of time, it was pretty easy to navigate online. This upcoming semester I'm taking her class again for 2071, she's really sweet and caring also very accessible outside of class.

AWESOME professor. Took 6 week condensed course so lots of homework each week but also lots of extra credit. Multiple attempts on assignments. Always available for help. Prof. Martinez gives you all the information you need for her online courses. I am currently taking ACG 2021 and I've had an A+ this entire semester!! She extremely quick to respond to my emails, texts, and calls. Very helpful and offers plenty of extra credit.

Amazing teacher. Her class is very organized and she makes things easy to understand. Lecture videos are posted on canvas in case you miss class. Heavy workload but she offers LOTS of extra credits, so it's impossible to fail her class. Highly recommended. Have to take her managerial online because there's only one class offered :(

Professor Martinez is extremely motivational and gives recognition where it is needed. Get ready for tons and tons of homework, quizzes, and test but with hard work and dedication, it is all very doable. She is always responding to emails and questions thoroughly and everything is well organized. As long as you keep track of due dates, you'll pass.

Professor Martinez is one of the best professors that I have interacted, she is helpful, respectful, responds fast , allow phone calls so she can explain to us better when needed, sends out reminders all the time, encourages us with messages every week. This class is so easy to understand all the materials. The only "bad" thing is that there is A LOT of assignments. BUT everything she gives you, it will help you pass all the quiz/test/&exam with an A. She gives 2 attempts on quiz/test. Just do everything on time and you will get an easy A in the class. Also lots of extra credit:)

Get ready to do homework! At least 12 assignments every week, I'm not exaggerating at all. She is awesome and the class is fairly easy but you really have to put some extra hours to get the work done!

There is a lot of homework for this class, and while most of it is easy, I ran into a few assignments that were difficult at least for me. BUT half of the work has infinite attempts, and she gives tons of extra credit that it is impossible not to do well. My final grade was 108% lmao. Also, she responds to emails quickly.

The teacher gives many assignments and extra credits. I really liked the extra credits because they help you raise the final grade. I liked the practice of the exercise in the Cybertext because I learned to record financial operations. The Discussion Boards are very important for the final grade. The class is complex but I loved this class!

There is a lot of homework for this class, and while most of it is easy, some assignments were difficult. Most of the work has multiple attempts, and she gives tons of extra credit. I completed the course in advance when I had free time which allowed me to space the homework out. The homework does help when it comes to the exam. Definitely take!

While there is a ton of work, most assignments allow for redos if you mess up. Also, there is a lot of extra credit so getting a good grade in this class is easy. She is accessible via email and does a good job answering questions.

Professor Martinez was a wonderful professor. Keep in mind, there is a lot of assignments per week, but everything is manageable and lots of extra credit. Professor Martinez's ACG2021 class has a heavy workload, but she makes the material very accessible. The use of Unstuck ai alongside the course resources helps manage the assignments.

Wow this professor! 10/10. Would answer calls and emails on the weekend. There was this huge project due and had to pass or fail the class. It was not that hard. Accounting is not my favorite by far but I ended the class with an A. Extra credit every week. Towards end of semester the assignments and homework picked up but not hard by any means.

Professor Martinez, is very attentive and supportive. There's a good amount of work every week, but offers weekly extra credit opportunities. All tests and exams are open book and they're not proctored, so you can use your resources available to you. Overall, it's an easy and manageable class if you stay on top of the assignments.

Follow her checkpoints and you will finish 4 weeks early, with 100% and 18 points extra credit. Definitely recommend taking her class.

Saw me fail the cybertext assignment and sat with me to guide me the right way, I genuinely hate online classes but she made this one really do-able and just the patience and willingness to help a student even when it bends the syllabus solely because she wants to make sure we all succeed shows character. I took this professor last semester and she was amazing! Lots of studying but it's laid out perfectly and was easy to follow. She is super helpful and will explain everything you need to know if you ask!! I do recommend!

I really enjoy this professor. Assignments are heavy and have a 5pm deadline however, she is very polite. Responds and grades promptly. Full disclaimer, I am not good with math but this class was doable. She provides clear grading criteria and offers ALOT of extra credit each week. This was my second time taking her. Would recommend to anyone!

Martinez was an excellent professor! She had LOTS of extra credit available and the assignments were laid out perfect. I will say it is a lot of work, but I was able to finish the class 4 weeks early. Very easy to communicate with her! Would recommend!!!!!

Lots of weekly homework but does provide a lot of materials to help with the assignments. She checks in very regularly with the class! There is a project at the beginning of the class, but gives EC for completing her project checkpoints. There is SO MUCH EXTRA CREDIT throughout the class. If you're looking for an easy A take this prof.!
