I think Sister Meade is a great teacher especially for her first semester she did a really good job.

Sister Meade is hilarious and makes her class fun. The assignments take a bit of time but they aren't hard, just make sure you have the book.

Sis Meade is a funny teacher. She does a good job of making the class more interesting and she is very understanding. There are a handful of assignments due every week. It's nothing too hard but it is time-consuming.

I liked my instructor for this course. She did her best to keep everyone engaged. Each class we would have a big discussion about how the media affects society and other contemporary issues in the media.

Sister Meade is a wonderful teacher that takes her experience in a media career and applying it to what we learn in class. She wants everyone to do well in the class and pushes us to do our best. Sister Meade obviously cares about her subject matter and her students. I enjoyed having her as a teacher. Any student taking this class should be able to get a decent grade if they do the work, which requires attention but is not overly strenuous. Sister Meade is definitely a good choice for a casual, interested atmosphere.

Pretty good class. She gave our Thursdays off so we only had class once a week. That was nice.

You must sow up and do all of the required material. The only difficult thing is her quizzes which are all online and open book, just very time consuming to find all 20 questions

She was a good choice because of how she teaches. Honestly, it was a pretty easy class. Open book quizzes and mostly grades based off of participation and discussion boards. Her grading style is really easy as well. She gives good feedback.

Good teacher, the class doesn't have a lot of content so there's not much to the lectures, which is annoying from an hour and a half class. But, its a requisite and she's pretty lenient on grading so she's a solid choice. I do wish she would give better feedback. As for homework, it's not too difficult and its only due once a week.

Sister Meade always makes the class interesting and she is super fun! All the homework is due on one night and it can be a lot if you wait to do it at one time. If you get it done through-out the week, you'll be fine! This class is pretty chill and I would suggest taking it from Sister Meade.

Professor Meade (in my opinion) is the best professor in the communications department at BYU Idaho. She has been working in media for a long time and has an extremely clear vision of where the industry is going. I personally think this should be a course everyone should take (communication major or not). 4-5 assignments every week but not hard.

Class was supposed to be twice a week for an hour and a half, but at the beginning of the semester she decided that was too much, so we only had class once a week which was nice. Absolutely loved taking Mass Media & Society from her. She has an awesome sense of humor and does little things to make the class more interesting. She is invested in helping her students learn rather than being a super tough grader or being really specific about due dates. 10/10 would take it again!

She is the best professor I've ever had. She makes sure that the class is a safe environment, where people that don't even feel comfortable speaking are okay with it. When grading, she grades you off of how you've improved, rather than of how other students do compared to you. Very uplifting rather than condescending. 10/10 recommend.

Best class I have ever taken! I tried taking this class online and dropped it and was dreading taking public speaking. I almost dropped this class and I am so happy I didn't. I've learned so much and am happy with the progress I've made. Sister Meade encourages her students to dig deep within themselves to help them become better speakers.

Sister Meade is hilarious and loveable. She expects you to improve in the class, but give you lots of constructive criticism. I feel like my public speaking improved dramatically. Sister Mead is my favorite professor. You have 4 assignments due every week on Thursday at 11:59PM. a "quiz" every class period in which you don't actually have to get the answers right, its just for attendance and to focus your learning. I love how she made everything very clear. I learned a lot and loved this class.

Michelle Meade is an outstanding professor. Her students know that she cares just as much for them as individuals, as she does for their successfulness in her class. She notices when you are feeling under the weather in class. She will email you when you don't show up to class for several days in a row, or if you sign up for another class with her.

Attendance is not mandatory but you don't want to miss class. Sis. Meade is very straight forward with what she expects, likes, and dislikes. In my book this is good. She gets to know each student personally so she grades you based on how you work. she makes it a very good and fun environment for public speaking.

This class was really fun and I learned a lot. She does not do conventional methods of teaching, but you apply what you learn. Lots of extra credit opportunities. Tardiness does not matter as long as you show up for class. You get out of the class what you put into it.

Sister Meade is HILARIOUS. She hates online group discussions, so we break up into small groups and do them in class. That is why class attendance and participation are crucial for your grade. But she makes class entertaining so you always want to attend. Homework for Comm 140 is simple. You will benefit the most if you read the textbook!

The class was very informative, and Sister Mead was an excellent professor. We had a lot of class discussions instead of discussion boards online, which was really nice. I learned a lot, but it was also a fun and entertaining experience in the classroom as well. I would describe her as very knowledgeable, but also bubbly and fun!

Sister mead is fantastic. She cares about her students in her class and makes personal connections. This class is 95% listening to peers give their speeches. You read from the book and write a chapter summary quite a bit. The structure of the class is not fantastic but if you stay on top of the assignments youll be fine!

Sister Meade is an awesome teacher. Her teaching style is geared towards individuals. She creates a really open atmosphere in the classroom by creating assignments and activities that help students get to know each other. That makes speaking easier because we are more comfortable with our audience. Overall it is a great class.

She is one of my favorite teachers! She is spontaneous, hype, exciting, and loves humor! I would take all her classes if I could. The only downside, in my opinion, is that structure isn't clear at the beginning of the semester but if you can catch on fast, you'll do just fine. The only reason I didn't get an A was because I didn't do all the work.

Sister Meade is an amazing teacher. There is some reading, but if you do it and do the assignments you will pass. She really loves her students, and she makes sure everyone of them knows it. She is incredibly funny and real at the same time.

Sister Meade is unlike any other communications professor i've had. She has helped me to become an excellent speaker ( note, i sucked before). I loved her straight-forward feedback because it helped me immensely in my next speeches. I was nervous about taking the class, but I was able to gain confidence through Sister Meade. Sister Meade is my favorite! I was so nervose to take this class because I don't like public speaking but she created an enviornment that everyone felts like they could succeed. She seems like a very blunt teacher at first but she does it in a loving way because she wants you to grow. Take HER! Such a hilarious teacher and fun classes ever!

I love Sister Meade. If I could I would retake this class a thousand times. Take the class and be ready to laugh and learn a lot.

Sister Meade is a very eccentric teacher. She's hilarious, but she still knows how to teach her stuff. If you take Public Speaking from her, most of the class is going to be watching your peers give speeches. I learned a lot from this class, and enjoyed it a lot too.

Sister Meade is amazing! She's makes everyone feel welcomed and confident in public speaking. She gives assignments that are easy to crank out and adjusts them to the students' needs. But this class is all out what you make of it, and if you're not putting the work in, she will know, you will know and the class will know.

I love Sister Meade! She has so much personality. She truly cares about her students and wants them to improve. She lets you be yourself when you give speeches. She's not afraid to point out your "crutches" which I think is great because that's what helps you grow. I definitely recommend taking this class from her.

She comes off as a little intimidating and frightening at first but she just has a very strong confident personality. She helps everyone in the class to really bond and love each other. One of my favorite teachers and classes ever!

She is absolutely amazing! A very different personality, but it grows on you real fast. I always enjoyed class. Just make sure to do the assignments (captures), and you'll do just fine. Really invest yourself into the course and you won't regret it. I felt very close to the other students in the class.

I loved taking this course! It was very engaging and pretty easy if you do the work. All quizzes were open note and NO DISCUSSION BOARDS!!!! The projects were fun and interesting. You truly learn a lot in the class and what you learn you can apply to your everyday life. Sister Meade was exceptional. She's a little whacky but it makes the class fun.
