Sort of your typical nice teacher. Relies on powerpoint and blackboard alot. Tests & quizzes never seem to contradict with notes in class.You'll find class interesting if you participate more often and she'll treat u fair if u make an effort to learn.Take her practice quiz on blackboard b/f hand.

My third time having her in a class and is one of my favorites. No suprises on tests (most problems are right out of the quizzes), doesn't try to trick you, tries to show the easiest approach to a problem. She tends to teach ACCY on-line only, but if you need this class, I highly recommend her on-line class, just don't get behind.

Her online Marketing class has to be the easiest class I've ever taken. She seems like a very nice person. I highly recommend her online Marketing class if your GPA could use a boost.

Good Teacher, always on time and has lesson planned. Easy course, make sure you turn the few assignments she gives in. Tests are multiple choice on the computer and she provides power point slides for every chapter which really help. Great Teacher!

I took the business intro course a few semesters ago. It was very easy and she was very clear with instructions and expectations. Just follow the guidelines and you will do fine.

If you want to pass her class, your gonna have to put forth 100% effort. That means reading the chapter, taking notes, and etc. If not, then don't even take the class. She is very knowledgable and is willing to help, but you gotta make the effort.

Great teacher and digests material so it makes sense and is useful. Class is not easy but she makes it fun and lively. Go prepared, do homework and stay awake. Study for tests. She posts grades quickly which helps you stay on top of things. This was a good summer class. I will for more classes with her. She grades fairly and really helps students.

As long as you do the homework and attend class you should be fine. She lays everything out for you and has no issues going over something more than once if needed. I have had her for both online and in class and she is an excellent teacher.

Mrs. Meyer is a pretty good professor. There is a 10 point homework assignment and 10 point quiz, taken in class, for each chapter. You are going to have to read the book if you have no background in accounting. Overall, an ok class.

Take good notes and do the hw, it obviously helps and will make the class flow better for you if you just do it. Tests are all announced so you have plenty of time to study too.

I took the online course for Business 101. Professor Meyer made extra credit available and this greatly helped in receiving an A. I found the tests to be somewhat challenging and I believe that taking the class in person may be a better choice. She was prompt in her grading and I would recommend her as a teacher.

Took her online class. Easy A for the posts, quizes don't count toward your grade, found some of the questions on the tests (that do count towards your grade) are not in the same chapters that we were tested on!

Taken in an online setting. Pretty easy course besides some questions weren't always in the same chapter. She took awhile responding to emails about the lack of group member involvement for projects, however, she teaches online courses and in the classroom. Take the practice quizzes they help alot with the exams. Fair grader.

Helpful and willing to explain. VERY slow in posting grades, even though we take quizes and test online and are graded immediatly she takes forever to post to Angel. VERY slow in replying to your emails. Forgetful also, if she said she would do something she either did it at the last minute or you had to remind her :(

I have take Ms. Meyer for many classes. She is very fair, offers plenty of extra credit. She will go over any problems in class and is always willing to meet with students. She is also a very good academic adviser for business students.

Professor Meyer is one of the better professors I have encountered in higher education and this includes a full year at a prestigious 4 yr University. As far as teaching ability and ensuring that her students understand the material, she is second to none. But what sets her apart from every other professor is the fact that she exceeds expectations.

Attention JJC newbies, this is one of the best profs you can get. In accounting I actually learned the material and found it interesting. Its still a hard class of course, but she's the best option at this school by far. She is super nice and loves to talk and get to know her students. There is a reason JJC has her full time - she knows her stuff!

I took this class in the online format. The weekly assignments were ok and sometimes interesting but the tests are tough even with the book. Make sure you do EVERY assignment on time and in full and you shouldn't have a problem getting a decent grade.

Her online class was pretty cut and dry. If you do the discussion post, you get full credit. Only other grades are tests, which you can use your book on. Pretty easy class, she got back to me in emails within a day too. very helpful.

class was half on line and half lecture. She was very nice and was very clear with answering questions. She also was very comfortable in front of the class as well with getting the class to interact. Best teacher i ever had!! prior to her i had no interest in accounting i had taken the class with another teacher and dropped it because it was so hard., but with Ms.Meyer is makes it easier.Not going to lie class is hard but she will give plenty of extra credit as for homework you have 3 tries..i will highly recommend Ms. Meyer :)

The class is hard because of the curriculum involved not because of the teacher. I'm glad I had her as a teacher because she really does her best to make sure her students succeed. Ms. Meyer has a real grasp on the subject and does a great job with her lectures. One quiz a week. One weekly homework assignment, usually have 3-5 days to complete.

I have this professor for Accounting 101 and have had her in two online classes as well. Can really say shes a teacher that cares about your grade and wants you to be successful. I have taken Mrs. Meyers summer class and am currently in her accounting 102 class. I've also taken business 101, marketing 101, and am taking management 101 with her. She is always extremely helpful with answering questions and relating the material to the real world. If you get the chance to take any of her classes take them you wont regret it

I loved professor Meyers! I was really struggling in her account 101 class and met with her and she told me "I will not let you fail." By far one of the best teachers I have ever had. She made class enjoyable. She really wants you to succeed. Took her accy101 in the summer and she helped me a ton! Definitely taking more classes with her!

Probably the best online class I have taken. All questions were clear cut, no trick questions. Very clear about grading and what is due. All questions and answers are based off the book.

Professor Meyer will go out of her way to help & all you have to do is ask for help. She responded to my emails quickly. She even called me after-hours (while she was at the airport) just to help me with a question I had. I emailed her at 7:05 pm and she emailed me back at 7:10 pm asking if she could call me & by 7:15pm question answered!

Ms. Meyer is probably the best ACC prof JJC has. Homework consists of a quiz and an assignment per chapter (3 attempts on assignments). 3 tests that are basically the quizzes. She assigns reading and I do recommend doing, but you can get away without. She can be a bit unorganized, but she means well and is very helpful. Just take her, trust me

Professor Meyer is one of the best teachers I've had at JJC. She is very thorough in explaining the material and will go over anything you do not understand again. The homework flows with the notes and the quizzes for each chapter are simple. If you understand the material, you will have no issue with maintaining a high grade.

I took Professor Meyer for both ACCY 101(In Class) and ACCY 102(Online). I would definitely recommend her. She was extremely helpful and gave me various types of resources for studying and understanding the material. She allowed me to sit in on her classes, and set-up individual meetings. The online code works for 101 and 102, and the eBook.

Accounting can be scary to some. It was scary for me. All of that changed when I got to her class. The way she explains, answers questions, the energy she brings to the class room. Matched with the fact shes very smart. Shes too good for JJC. Take her, do the homework, and trust her methods. Youll get the grade you need.

Took her for acc101. This class is very time consuming and pretty hard. Prof. Meyer is very good teacher however she can be pretty unorganized. What frustrated me the most no deadlines on the calendar. Sometimes she would respond to e-mails very quickly but few times didn't respond at all. Overall I think she is a very good teacher!

With classes moving online this semester I've really noticed that Mrs. Meyer has put in extra effort with video lectures and other material to make online courses feel like an in class experience. While Accounting is not an easy subject, you don't have to be afraid of it. If you reach out to her when you need help and put in the work you will pass.

You need to go to Professor Meyer for academic advising. She knows the ins and out of every college's criteria and she can help you get through JJC quick. ACCY102-Hybrid is a tough class, but Prof. Meyer is always available to help in and out of class. Recommend you read the chapters and review practice problems before taking the tests. Good luck!

Professor Meyer has been the best Professor I have had to date. She is extremely knowledgeable, supportive and understanding. I have taken her Marketing class & currently in her Accounting class. Professor Meyer is a rare gem! After taking her Accounting 101, I immediately knew Id enroll in her other courses. She was more than happy to provide her expert knowledge when I had questions about transferring. Even though I changed my major from Accounting to Business Administration Professor Meyer advised me every step of the way!

Took her eight week online class and it was super easy! There are four assignments per week, a discussion post and a quiz. It sounds like a lot but it's very manageable if you make time. There's a midterm and a final, and she provides outlines for the notes. It's very organized and easy to follow along with. I'd love to take another class with her!

She is great. Very simple layout and you have access to all materials right when the class starts. If you have a work ethic, you will get an A in this class no problem.

Professor Meyer is a great professor and give good examples during lectures. But be prepared to receive a lot of information in each lecture and take multiple days a week to go over everything to fully understand it. She is a great prof. You have to keep on her to get answers to emails, but her replies are helpful. The class was a hybrid, and I was only able to make it once. I had a paper copy to the text, which was good because Cengage does not always work well.

Professor Meyer's MKTG-101 course was a fairly easy, relaxing course that had assignments due each Friday and Sunday. I feel like I learned a lot more, and she was always responsive every time I messaged her. I would definitely recommend this class, especially for an intro class to marketing as a whole.
