I went to class all the time except after the 2nd test, because all she does is read from the slides. The tests weren't too bad, just know how to do the various problems. I liked the class overall though.

If you're having trouble with anything, she's always available to help you. I went to her office a number of times, with so many questions and she sat there until I understood it all. She even curved my grade at the end because she knew how hard I tried.

Hands down the best professor I've had at Albany. Funny, interesting, and easy to follow in class. If you study and grasp the material, the tests are easy. If you don't understand the material, she is very easy to approach and goes out of her way to help you (and make herself accessible).

Make sure you print out the demonstration problems though, or you will end up sitting in class doing nothing for an hour and a half. As far as tests, she lets you decide if you want a cumulative exam or not and drop the lowest test grade. Final project= terrible!

Most understanding teacher at the school. Class is not mandatory but grade will be effected if you miss. Learn a lot, and have fun. Time flies by.

Considering the class was taught in a 500 person LC, I thought she did a great job trying to teach the material, since accounting is a subject that really should not be taught in a class that large.

Professor Moshier is good for the university. She is energetic, good looking, extremely helpful, and does a great job teaching 500 people packed in an LC. I will say the Nazi TA's who patrol the LC are a bit excessive. One time I sneezed in the back of the LC and about 2 seconds later a rouge TA came running over and told me to keep my voice down.

Its accounting, she does her best to make a boring subject a little less boring. A fairly easy class though, just go and pay attention and the tests are no problem.

Great teacher. No other teacher can make you understand financial accounting better than she can. Do the prior reading in the text book before the class and you will do fine. Even though it's pretty early make sure you go to class to earn clicker points.

Prof. Moshier is overqualified for this institution. Grading was as fair as possible. Workload is heavy but the payoff is worth it. If you are willing to put in the time and effort this class will be nothing short of a pleasure to attend. Her teaching method analyzes the fundamentals of financial accounting to the tee.

This is a great class especially if you are a Business or Accounting major. Professor Moshier is a good professor and she is always there for the students during office hours and she's HOT on top of it! As long as you do all the homework, go to most of the lecture classes and all the discussion classes, you should get either an A or B in the class.

I once over heard two professors discussing "Moshier style teaching". Yes, this woman is so well organized, and so thorough, they her name is now an adjective for high quality education. If you fail her class, you simply didn't fulfill your obligations as a student.

My favorite part of the class was when she embarrasses students who sleep or who are disruptive during class. Also when she "pwned" a Long Island Guido kid for trying to talk back to her. All my other ACC courses seem dull now because she isn't the one teaching them.

Even though the course itself is not that easy, she is a very good prof. She explains the concepts clearly, and is very helpful and will answer your questions if you are confused. Going to class is mandatory b/c she uses clicker questions. HW are pretty easy and tests could be a little challenging but if you don't slack off, you should do fine.

Homeworks are fairly easy, always go to class for clicker points, attend discussion classes, and study for exams (they can be a little challenging). If you don't slack off, you will do well.

Shes a good professor. Explains things well, but it is a difficult class. Exam averages are low , tests are difficult and confusing. Additionally if students do poorly she doesn't curve. She actually said it was the students fault for doing poorly, she refused to admit the test was too hard.

This class was very easy. Moshier knows what she's talking about. Attendance is mandatory, she uses clickers. I received an "A" in this course without the curve but THERE IS A CURVE. ACC 211 is what made me switch to accounting. ACC 211 is not an easy A, which so many people do not understand. But it is clear how to receive an A. You have to study and actually learn. I know so many people who switched their major after this course because it actually required effort. This class separates real bus/acc majors from the wannabes.

Took this class 2 years ago so this is a bit of a late review... but Moshier is amazing. Big lecture, go to class there's iclickers and study off from her review sheet & you'll be fine. If you don't understand the material, go to office hours. You have 8 TAs to choose from. There are a lot of resources given to you to help you pass. Use them and you're set.

Michelle Moshier is an angel sent from heaven above. She truly cares about the success of her students. She posts topical outlines before each exam and practice questions. You don't need to read the textbook. She explains concepts very well in class and if you don't understand something going to the discussion can resolve that.

She is an amazing teacher. If you got to class and do all the homeworks and learnsmarts then you are bound to pass with a good grade. I got 100 on each exam thanks to her help and the review that she gives out. If you want a good teacher, take her.

Prods or Moshier is a sweetheart, however you have to put the study time in. Accounting for me was a very tough subject and due to the fact that she has almost 800 students, you wont get that much help but if you reach out to her and go to her office hours shes helpful.

Im not gonna pretend that this class was easy, it was a lot of work; however, Professor Moshier is one of the best professors that Ive ever had. She was caring and helped me get through the class despite the harsh circumstances in my personal life. Im so grateful for her and I would love to take a class with her again.

Professor Moshier is one of my favorites. She is empathetic and respectable. I would recommend reading the chapter prior to class and using your laptop in class to split-screen the slides on one half and a word document on the other. This worked well for me. Professor Moshier explains things thoroughly in class, so I wouldn't miss too many.

Shes actually a great professor. You have to go to class because clicker points are for credit. She does go through lectures fast but just pay attention and ask questions and youll be fine.

You do get a good amount go work in the class and as long as you keep up in the beginning its easy because everything starts to build towards the end. She's really intimidating in class but such a sweetheart during office hours!! She really cares about her students and want them to do well.

Professor Moshier has a really well put together tax course for students. The material is easily digestible, but also takes some studying on the part of the students. She is extremely knowledgable and pretty energetic for the most part. If you are looking to do well then take her class!

Took online asynchronous, video lectures were very helpful and were reflective of the test. Was very generous when it came to grading: she dropped one of the tests the class did poorly on and overall the class was not difficult if you watched the lectures/ went to discussion

Amazing teacher. Amazing person. When i was going through personal issues outside of the classroom Professor Moshier was really there for me. It showed me that she's much more than just a teacher she truly cares for her students

PROFF MOSHIER is the sweetest proff. If you do the learn assignments, watch the discussion, read the textbook, and go to office hours youll be fine. She drops the lowest grade. She really is there to help you at office hours so take advantage of it because its so helpful. Not an easy class but thats just accounting.

The course itself is challenging but taking it online during a global pandemic definitely didn't help. Prof. Moshier is great, she tried to accommodate and meet us in the middle. However, most of class failed or did poorly. A lot of homework but they are helpful.

I really liked her. She tried her best to balance the new challenges that came with being online. She didn't want students cheating so she would change things but she also had our best interest in mind. She offered extra credit which I would definitely suggest doing. She was very good about answering emails also.

Professor Moshier is very nice and is willing to help you outside of class to help you do well. Attendance is required but a few unexcused absences will not hurt your grade. Homework is usually assigned twice a week and there are plenty of extra credit opportunities. The exams are hard if you don't prepare. If you do the work you can't fail.

Professor Moshier is truly an amazing professor. She cares a lot about her students. the TA discussion is super helpful. It's accounting so it can be a bit challenging but if you put the time and effort in you can do really well especially with Professor Moshiers help.

She's such a good accounting professor. Anyone saying bad stuff about her either didn't pay attention, didn't study, or are just flat out bad at accounting. She makes this class so easy as long as you pay attention and do the work. 3-4 tests with study guides and practice problems. Such a good professor as long as you just listen to her.

Prof Moshier is one my best accounting professor I have ever met in the university. She knows how to explain the topics and willing to clear anyone's doubt if they did not understand the topic. . I always read the chapters before the lecture and it didn't make much sense but Prof Michelle Moshier makes Accounting easier and I am grateful for that!!

Moshier is a good lecturer and gives you everything you need to do well on the exams. There were 4 exams and on each one she gave a review sheet (that had practice problems), a solution sheet to the review sheet, and a topical outline of everything on the exam. People who complain about her just don't even try. If you study you will do well.

Professor Moshier has a strict class, but this really makes you pay attention and retain the information she's teaching. If you go to class, take notes, and study for the exams you will pass easily.

You can easily pass this course if you dedicate the time to studying. I will say its a difficult course for (some) students to understand the topics and get an A. If you put in the effort, you WILL do good in the class. Prof Moshier is actually a sweetheart and has engaging lectures. She gives a lot of extra credit opportunities as well. I got atleast a 100 on every exam just by looking at her topical outlines and doing the review questions. Class isn't easy but if you actually practice youll be fine

This is a hard class if you do not do all of the work, there is a lot but if you do it on time it makes it easy to do well. There are a ton of TA's and they are all very accessible and helpful. Moshier is a good professor, people only hate on her when they are struggling in class and do not try get help from going to office hours.

She's an amazing professor, I was worried about taking this class because it seemed intimidating, but she made it all very clear and was always available. Some people did badly, but it always seemed to be because they didn't listen or go to her when they needed to, but she and tas made complicated topics into easy-to-understand material.

Great class! A lot of clicker questions throughout the year and discussion is "mandatory". She curves exam grades if a lot of people get low test scores

Professor Moshier is amazing, if you go to class and do your homework you'll do fine on the tests. It's a little scary that exams make up 70% of your grade, but you're pretty much guaranteed the other 30% if you just go to class and do your work. She takes extra time to review concepts if students are struggling with them, definitely take her!

Professor Moshier is the best! I kid you not she does and tries her best for her students. I enjoy taking her class and wouldn't mind having her as a professor again. Though the class does have some flaws. It can be very overwhelming in class and outside of class. There are 2 assignments, one comprehensive problem, and a quiz every week.

As long as you participate in class you will be fine. There are cushions for clicker points and homeworks. Do all of the smart book and knowledge check assignments to study for the tests. She is a very clear and knowledgeable professor.

My favourite professor ever! She teaches the Material super well. The Discussion classes are very helpful. You really have to stay on top of the class though to get a good grade. Definitely take her for Financial Accounting she cares a lot about ther students!

Such an amazing teacher with high expectations for her students. Moshier really cares about her students and you can tell. There are four exams, homework due 4 times per week, and discussion on Fridays, (which helps a lot). Clicker questions are also necessary to do so go to class. Pay attention during the first few chapters, it gets hard quick!

Her class rules are clear and concise. You gotta pay $150+ for smartbook HW access. Cushion points is about 35%. She's always available for extra help. Discussion classes helped me the most but I'm stupid so I had to put more effort to review the material myself.

She is a really good professor, her lectures are very clear and she does an amazing job at making herself be understood with the material. Make sure you pay attention on every lecture because the material will get harder.

honestly you put in the work, you will pass the class. She does honestly wants to see you succeed in her class if you put in the work, do the hw and go to her office hours before the exams is such a huge help. I didn't do well in the first exam and i went to office hours before the other exams and they really did help a lot. There are fours exams.

Professor Moshier is one of the best professors I have ever had. She truly cares about her students and wants them to do well in the class. This class requires a lot of practice so make sure to do that not only read the presentations.

Professor Moshier's ACC211 class is tough but rewarding. Attend lectures, do the practice assignments, and you'll excel. unstuckstudy AI was a lifesaver for preparing for exams!

Moshier is decent, she goes over concepts and gives examples. If you do them, you'll do good on iclicker participation. Around 2-4 hw assignments weekly. GO TO DISCUSSION, copy the board, and you'll do good on the exams. Big ups to her TA Mackenzie she teaches concepts better than Moshier tbh.

Great Professor, easily accessible outside of class along with her TA's. GO TO CLASS/STAY ONTOP OF THINGS- it is easy to fall behind. ASK FOR HELP!!! Its better to awkwardly reach out than suffer in silence.

Do pre-lecture assignments before class to understand what's happening in lecture. Moshier is very understanding but you need to put in the work in order to pass the class. You can easily get lost. 3 in-class exams and 1 final (noncumulative). Trust her when she says you NEED to know the first few chapters in order to understand the entire course.

Professor Moshier is a great lecturer and this class is easy if you do the homework and the problems in class and discussion. So many people complained about their grade, but most of the class was playing games, watching movies or chatting during lectures. Show up, take notes, do the homework and go to office hours if something doesn't make sense.

I'm one of those ppl who like to be lazy and wing the exams, but in this course, u won't be able to do so. you need to lock in and study especially for them exams because they have a heavy percentage of the grade. that's why i got D-, besides great class and the professor is top tier. businesswoman, super inspirational

Moshier cares about her students, and I promise you, IF. YOU. GO. TO. CLASS. You will do fine. There are alot of homeworks that come with this course, and takes time, and discussion is a little anonying. But I would take her again.

She was a really good professor, my favorite at UA so far. Her lectures are easy to follow and engaging. The online home-works help a lot with understanding the material. The course is pretty easy once you understand debits/credit and the basics of a journal entry. Literally, just show up and pay attention during lectures and you'll do good.

Really great professor! She really knows her stuff and explains in such a detailed and coherent manner that it makes it easy to understand. Her homeworks are tedious but they really do help with comprehending the knowledge if you try them. If you attend class and discussions it's an easy A. Wish her all the best.
