Its hard to believe, but this was my favorite class of the semester. She is an awesome teacher. Very funny. The class is actually kind of interesting. If you need a gpa boost, take this class!

Golden if you get on her good side. The way to do that is to just behave and voice an opinion when offered. Very interesting course though!

Class is not as easy as people say. 4 tests including the final, that is it. Gives one chance for extra credit. Helpful during office hours! If you attend class regularly, take notes, and study you will probably make a B. Not an easy A like some people said because only 4 grades. Class is actually kind of fun. I'd recommend this class.

Great teacher. Good at telling interesting and weird stories in class. Took an evening course which was three hours long, but she managed to keep it interesting. Class isn't hard if you aren't lazy.

Easy class. I never listened in class and got an easy B. Just study the powerpoint slides in the packet you buy. Do not buy the book. I studied the night before the tests, and always made B's. Easy B, but if you study more than I did you can make an easy A.

Took the evening class for Physical Anthropology. Teacher was fine, class was extremely mundane and boring. 3 hours of power point slides is gruesome even if it's once a week. Tests are not multiple choice, 4 tests=the whole grade. Don't buy the book, didn't use it once. Overall, the course was just not interesting. Oh and doesn't transfer to TAMU.

Great prof. Enthusiastic, little/no book use. BUY HER SLIDES! Straight forward in lecture. Easy extra cred essay for every exam. Multiple choice and straight forward

Wow! She is such a great teacher! Super nice lady. She loves what she teaches and encourages people to understand why they believe what they believe. As long as you write down/study the stuff that she says and the stories she tells, you should get a good grade.

Awesome Prof!! Keeps class interesting and funny. 3 tests and a final with some extra credit options in between. Very straight forward and attendance is a must so you dont miss the things she says will be on the tests. My favorite professor so far at Blinn.

Her lectures are based off of her PPTs but she does not give you copies of them or put them online, so it is important to show up and take notes. Almost everything on the PPTs will be on the test + extra credit. She does not give HW, just the four tests and a final. Show up, take notes, and you'll get an easy A.

Get ready to have the best professor ever! Dr. Raisor is such a fun person... Her lectures are amazing and engaging, and she makes you feel like your her best friend. Her tests are easy if you attend class. It's important to remember the stories she tells in class because she always tests us on it. She gives no homework at all. TAKE HER!!

TAKE DR. RAISOR! Most interesting and humorous prof I have had yet. She will make you laugh constantly and gives tons of extra credit. As long as you listen in class and write down what sounds important, you will pass. Only 4 tests but like I said, tons of extra credit. She wants her students to pass and have fun while doing it.

TAKE DR. RAISOR! She is incredible and hilarious. She gives her students so many extra credit opportunities and her tests aren't hard as long as you show up for class. Dr. Raisor is amazing. Yes she is very straight forward and very opinionated but she lets you give your opinion as well. She is awesome her classes are interesting. I took Forensic and Cultural Anthropology with her as my professor. I had to take her twice. I would take her again but I don't need anymore anthropology credits. TAKE HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was the BEST class I have ever taken!! Her lectures are clear and entertaining! She uses powerpoint slides and pictures as well as lectures and reading the textbook will help too! Professor Raisor's class was very easy to me and I always looked forward to it because she made it fun. Don't buy the book, DO buy the course packet. Not really any assignments, just tests. Also offers extra credit Encourages participation which normally scares me but it was fun and it taught me a lot! Wish I could take her again

Raisor is a forensic anthropologist so she knows what she's talking about, but not a know-it-all who leaves you behind. She loves class discussions and sometimes spends the whole time just talking with students. Great class, would take her again.

She is a fantastic teacher. I have taken both her Cultural and Forensic Anthro classes and easily made A's in both of them. Her lectures are long but interesting and make coming to class easy.

Dr. Raisor was one of the best professors I've ever had. She kept lecture interesting and engaging. GET THE SLIDES! they help so much and you can just follow along and write down extra info. The "review" she gives you is pretty close to the exams, she wont give you every single question but it helps out. SHE GIVES LOTS OF EXTRA CREDIT!!!

she has no test reviews (she gave one for the final), lectured-based tests, only 3 test grades in the grade book and a final, she gives extra credit. I would recommend getting her book for the copy stop. Write down all her stories. They are interesting but very disturbing.

Excellent professor who makes classes very fun and interesting. She gives extra credit questions on every exam except the final and even gives an optional out-of-class extra credit project as well. Her exams are very straightforward and easy if you make notes, follow the textbook or use online flashcards. I made an easy A.

awesome teacher and lectures. she is very funny and entreating. only downside to taking this class is you only get your class average from the four grades during the semester. if you bomb the test you fail the class basically. make sure you listen and take good notes and youll be fine. test are hard without paying attention

Dr. Raisor is an excellent professor and works hard to make sure her lectures aren't boring. The real downside to this class is that your final grade is composed of the exam grades only. Make sure you pay attention during her lectures and WRITE DOWN the stories she tells, because they usually come up for extra credit on the exams.

Dr. Raisor is the best professor I have ever had. I always actually liked going to her class because she made it so interesting. Shes not a tough grader at all I made 3 Bs and an A on her tests and I just studied the packet she gave us with all the power points that I took additional notes in from what she said in class.

im in her cutural anthropology class right now, and i can already tell she is a fantastic professor. her class is just exams, no little assignments so if you like that style then take her. her lectures are so awesome she is so funny and i will never miss a lecture. i think that is why people do so well in her class bc they want to come to her clas

I'm in two of her anthro classes and she is very helpful, and her lectures are easy to understand/take notes from. Her tests are pretty good and her stories are funny and enjoyable and make you want to go to class.

The lectures were interesting. Grades are based on exams and final, there is extra credit as well, she doesn't give homework. I took her Spring 2017. Her exams are multiple choice with a comprehensive extra credit question. I don't believe she posted her power points online, so come to class, take notes and you'll do great. :)

Professor Raisor is by far the best professor Ive ever had at Blinn!! You dont need the textbook, but you do the packet of PowerPoints!! It will pay off come the final!! She givens lots of extra credit and if you do them shes more likely to help your grade if need be! DONT skip class she gives answers to questions that are on the exams!

Professor Raisor is by far my favorite professor at Blinn. She is hilarious and her class is so interesting. There is no homework, only tests but she does offer really good extra credit. The tests are fairly easy as long as you pay attention in class. You don't need to book but you need to take notes on her lectures for sure.

Took both of her ANTH classes. I go to her classes, not because I have to, but because it feels like you're taking a break from all of your other classes. You get to hear funny stories, you laugh in class ALL THE TIME and more. Her class has power points with lectures. If you go to her office before the test, she will have you thinking like her.

I had Dr. Raisor for Anthro and she was awesome. The class is just based on test grades, however they are easy to do well on if you go to class and listen to lecture. All of her tests are definition based and she even tells you most of what will be on the test (Ex. "write this down it will be on your test"). Interesting lectures and funny.

Only 4 grades in the class including the final exam so STUDY for all of them. She reviews with you an hour before the exam and she basically reads right off the test so go to the reviews.

her class is overall easy i made an A study the purple book that she asks you to buy at the copy center you do not need the book. Her material is interesting and she teaches in a way that is understandable. She offers extra credit throughout the semester as well as on the exams.

Exam 1 is straightforward/easiest of the 4 exams in the course. Best advice is to study HARD for the next 2 exams because they are more specific. Always come prepared to do the extra credit questions on the exams too because those can boost your test grade from a C to a B or a B to an A! Do the extra credit to guarantee yourself an A in the class!

I absolutely loved this class! Prof Raisor makes the class so fun and tells great stories! Show up because she tells you answers to the test in class. Make sure you study because the only grades in the class are tests! If you are not a good test taker and want an A I would not take this class! But, if you are good at tests then TAKE! I recently took this class and it was THE BEST class I have taken by far!! This proff has the best stories and relates your content to real life. You can get her power points printed into a book at the print shop. This was Very helpful to take nots on and follow along in class. gives lots of extra credit and will help you outside of class.

Dr. Raisor is the BEST. She will tell you how it is. Shes very smart and well versed in her craft. Take her and you will not regret it. She is very caring and will work with you when and if life happens. Just be transparent with her. She is for sure a professor that the more involved you are the better off you will be. Her lectures will probably be the most interesting part of your day, and you leave class retaining a LOT of info. She speaks her mind but she's also really nice and begins her classes with daily "factoids" that may or may not be anthropology-related. You need to show up to pass, but her lectures are something you won't want to miss anyways.

This was my very first class at Blinn! Best professor ever. I took this as a Maymester, and it was still very easy. She actually wrote me a letter of recommendation for Texas A&M. Listen to her lectures, be open minded, take notes and you'll pass.

To pass this class, get the purple textbook with all the lectures, take notes, pay attention to every detail she points out, and make sure to do well on her tests since there are no other assignments. interesting lectures, but brings politics into every single one of them. gives a lot of extra credits. she takes attendance very seriously.

I had so much fun in this class just listening to the lectures. She is very experienced and has lots of good stories. She is very easy to talk to, and she loves participation from students. She would go into a lot of detail in the lectures, and I feel like I learned so much.

By FAR the absolute best professor I have ever had. I learned so much from her and she made it fun and super interesting. I wish I could have her for every course. She is very personable and wants to help you. The course is based on all your test grades but offers endless extra credit that is fairly easy. TAKE her !! your GPA will thank you!!

Take this class if you want an easy A. She gives a lot of easy extra credit and her lectures are pretty interesting. She is very opinionated, so if you don't like that don't take her. No homework.

By far one of the best professors I've had; with the extra credit, you should do fine in a test-heavy class. I had a B and was bumped to an A because of my extra credit and participation/engagement with the class. I do not recommend missing any classes or not taking notes. Overall, 10/10, it was a class I looked forward to.

Mrs. Raisor is all you want in a teacher! She is very funny and makes class very enjoyable, we start off class with news that happened over the week or during the weekend and talk about that for the first part of the class, we then start lectures and have a good time, I would definitely take her again and I would recommend you do too.

Dr. Raisor made the class really enjoyable with her funny stories and casual teaching style. While she sometimes brought in her own opinions, unstuck AI helped me stay focused on the key concepts. Definitely an easy A, but still a worthwhile class.

While she is very political if you can push past that she has great deal of knowledge to pass on. We had only 4 exams and that was all we were graded on, everything in the exam you get from the notes. You MUST show up the lectures aren't available online!! Talked politics for the first 20 mins of every class so don't worry about being late lol.
