Sometimes I feel bad for her because she is so sweet and people are not nice to her back. A very easy teacher...clarifies things over and over so you understand perfectly. She will go over a topic a million times if students told her they needed help. I highly suggest taking her class, she is very sweet.

She is a very sweet woman. She will do anything to help you. The best thing you can do is come to class. I am horrible at math and I managed to get a B in her class with little effort. Her accent makes her a little hard to understand at times, but her willingness to re-explain concepts makes up for any difficulties.

Very sweet lady. It's kind of hard to understand whats going on but she is always willing to help. She tells you what will be on the test before hand and she is very generous when grading the tests. I managed to get half credit for a wrong answer. I would take her again if i had anymore math classes

SWEETEST WOMAN EVER! SOOOOO HELPFUL AND SO EASY! She will explain something to you until she is blue in the face if that's what it takes for you to understand. She tells you exactly what's on the test and if you do badly, you can re-do the problems you mess up on. :) LOVED HER & you will too!!!

SHE ROCKS. She gives you a "study guide" which is exactly what is on the exam. She is willing to help you after class with anything you don't get. She gives a "quiz" that is basically a make up exam. I have 100% in her class and there shouldn't be a reason that you don't have that grade.

Honestly..the first day of class I was scared because I could hardly understand anything she said. She has a heavy accent, but you get used to it after a while. She is a very nice woman, and she offers make-up tests. I never had to redo any of mine because she has a 'review day' and explains the material that will be on the test. JUST GO TO CLASS!

She is adorable and very sweet. She cares about your grades, and you have the opportunity to retake tests. I suggest doing the problems she assigns before each test to refresh your memory. Tests are simple if you look over everything. Easy A. Talk to her if you dont understand something, she will do her best to explain.

A lovely, sweet professor who always gives you the tools you need to succeed in her class. Tests are a bit difficult but she will often give "bonus quizzes" so you can fix the mistakes you made. Show up for class, go to office hours if you are having trouble, do the problems, and talk to her about your concerns and you'll be fine.

She may have an accent, but she always helps students and will take time in class to go over questions. Normally, the class runs for an hour and 20 minutes, but rarely just she keep the class past an hour. Her tests are easy and she gives you make up quizzes. The only time she gets angry is when students fail the class because they don't care.

I have taken math a few times and this is one of the better professors. If you are not really strong at math take her. She is really nice and tries to make sure everyone is clear on the material. Coming to class is important but she gives study guides and doesn't do any trick questions on her exams. She is always willing to help after class too.

Dr. Savescu is one of the best professors I've had here at Kutztown. If you can pay attention and write down everything she puts on the board, you will pass with flying colors. I took her for Fundamentals of Math, and let me tell you. She was one of the BEST professors I've ever taken. She takes her time to go over the material, and really makes sure everyone knows how to do it. She's so kind, and understanding. The tests are very easy, and short. The homework is optional, never collected. She's really there for you.

Dr. Savescu is awesome! She is so caring and really wants you to do good. HW is not graded. She gives you a Test Prep for each test. There are 6 in total plus the final. You can drop your lowest grade as well. (Tests are no longer open notes because of Department rules). She is overall amazing and would love to take again for other math courses.

If you struggle with math, TAKE HER! She spells out for you exactly what is on the tests. There are 4 exams. (non-cumulative final) and each exam is 5 or 6 questions that she tells you ahead of time. Home work is given but not checked up on but doing the homework on your own is key to getting an A. I thought she talked way too fast at first but either she slowed down or I got used to it real fast. she will also give make up quizzes after each test on parts people got wrong giving you a chance to get all the points back. Wish she taught more. :(

Professor Savescu is such a nice and caring professor. She explains everything so much, even if its already well understood. She can get confusing sometimes but if you just ask her to explain she will. I never brought the textbook because you don't need it and she never collects homework. It's honestly one of my easiest math classes ever.

Very sweet and funny, she can be hard to understand but for the most part I was able to follow her lectures with no problem. The only thing that you are graded for are the 4 tests that you take and they are exactly the same as the study guide she gives you. She can move fast so ask questions if you're confused. Her whole class consists of examples, but lecture notes are given at the end of each week with extra exercises. Five tests make up the whole grade including the final, but partial credit is given on problems. If you study you can easily pass with a B.

I really enjoyed having her as a professor. I am awful at math but she made the class bearable. She really takes the time to review any content that students do not understand. She also has a good sense of humor and understands that math is not everyone's favorite thing. The only drawback is that in order to pass you must do well on the tests.

Hands down the best professor in the math dept. She has so much knowledge about calc II, and it clearly shows during lectures. She genuinely wants you to succeed and will do anything in her power to help you. Although your only grades are tests, it actually helps you. If you study for the exams, you will definitely do well.

She truly wants her students to succeed and is willing to meet with you outside of class if you're struggling.
