Great Teacher, always willing to assist after/before class. Gives partial credit for partial answers on tests which makes higher grades easier to obtain. Polite and Prompt.

yea this teacher is good if you're on the same speedy drug she is. Goes wayyyy to fast through notes. hard to keep up with. quizzes & test very intense and time limited. Makes you feel stupid if you ask a simple question. ****y at times as well.

Lots of helo if needed, if she see's you make effort (do hw, ask questions) you'll be fine. nice lady

I'm going to be honest...this class is not easy...its alot of work but i never did a homework assignment but her teacher was enough because she seriously is an amazing teacher...very clear and is very willing to answer questions...her answers are perfect!...i would love to take her again

Mrs Tubbs is one of the best instructors I have had. The subject matter is not easy but she does all she can to explain it. Very clear and precise and always willing to help students. Grading system is very fair. Strongly recommend

Mrs. Tubbs is an excellent teacher her tests are hard and tricky but if you go to class regularly she is very understanding. She wants you to learn the material.

Considering I'm not a fan of math Mrs. Tubbs is very helpful and can make the best of math class. She tends to talk a bit fast but I can always find a way to catch up!

She is firm but fair. Tests are challenging, but you remember what you learn. She always makes time for you if you need extra help.

Tubbs gives alot of notes, but they are such good notes that it doesnt matter. She is good at explaining every neccessary step needed for each math function. She is a little stern, yet she is a great math teacher.

Elemenry Algebra. Evening class she dorps the lowest two quiz grades. She gives her own notes on the chapter and explains how to solve the problem easly. DO the HOMEWORK more than once.

I love this teacher. i took her for all my three of college maths. She is helpful, nice, and understanding.

Her teaching method is fast-paced, but she gives extremely thorough notes. DO take ALL notes, and definitely do the homework.

She is a miracle worker. I used to be the biggest failure in math, but she explains it in such a clear and easy way that I even get 100's on tests. If you're having trouble with math, I recommend taking her. She's amazing.

MRS. TUBBS ROOOOCKS. her explanations are really clear; she's fair and consistent in grading, and is not gonna surprise your out of nowhere with a quiz or test(she always gives review sheets for the tests too). if there's on thing you need to do though it's THE HOMEWORK. overall, A+++++++++++++...and so on and so forth.

I took both Intermediate and College Algebra with Mrs. Tubbs. She is the best math professor I have ever had. She is honest, extremely hard-working, sincere, and without her, there's no way I would have ever passed math. Her level or organization and knowledge has inspired my interest in math. No surprises with her on tests or quizzes.

The statistics class is hard to begin with, but she is an awesome teacher. However, you have to do your work or you will definitely fail. AWESOME TEACHER, VERY CLEAR.

Mrs. Tubbs made learning in her class incredibly easy. Show up, take down all the notes, do the homework on time, and you will be sure to pass. She is absolutely there to help you; it is your responsibility to tell her when you are having issues! She moves very quickly, but has a lot to cover. Her tests are difficult, but she is very fair.

Mrs. Tubbs is not only clear on the subject matter but the grading criteria as well. She stated upfront that while she doesn't grade homework, you need to complete it to do well in her course. I felt she enables students to succeed without compromising her expectations. She made her class enjoyable and I definitely recommend her.

Mrs. Tubbs is a fantastic teacher. I took her for a summer class and she was always happy and she never acted like she didn't want to be there. She explains things very clearly and never rushed things even though we only had six weeks of class. I would definitely be in her class again if I had the chance.

Very very helpful. I love this professor because she is so clear in her explainations. I took her for a summer course and Im so happy I picked her. Although the classes are intense as long as you do your part and ask for help when needed, you should be ok. hopefully i can take her for my next math course.

Love! Love! Love her class. I don't like math, but she made it so simple. Took her over the summer and the class average was high. I retained most of the material if not all. Her style of teaching makes it so everything is common sense. Tests are what you study and no trickery. You will feel good when you pass because she makes you work hard.

Really thought I wouldn't like her at first but she's quickly become my favorite teacher this semester, very clear with her lectures and teaches in a very effective manor. Most likely the best statistics teacher on campus, follow her syllabus and your guaranteed to succeed.

Professor Tubbs does not teach for an easy grade, but her methods are very succinct and effective. As long as you do the homework and participate in class, you will pass. Having already failed the class once, I was not looking forward to taking the summer class because 15 weeks of learning condensed into 6. Professor Tubbs helped immensely.

Mrs. Tubbs is great, she can be tough if you don't put in the effort though. You really need to keep up with homework or you will get lost very quick. She is very available, answers emails within a few hours.

Professor Tubbs has a strict teaching style but overall is a good professor. You must take notes and do the homeworks or you wont pass. She comes off intimidating at first but it is obvious it is because she is passionate about her teaching style. Dont be late to class! She will call you out for it, and it will effect your grade.

Mrs Tubbs was great! She was attentive and loud which kept me focused during class. She truly cares for all her students and clearly loves her job. Just keep up with the weekly homework and review the notes and you'll be fine. She is clear cut with harder math problems she expects you to know in class by demonstrating them. Highly recommend!

Honestly one of the best math teachers I have had. She wants her students to succeed and will help them to get where they want to be.

Very good Math Teacher but if your late she will make u state your reason in front of the entire class and than take points off your final grade for it but otherwise she is the best and will help u during office hours if u need it

Great professor! Most of class is spent in lecture, and she moves quickly enough that you won't doze off. Nightly homework is optional, although she gives four statdisk assignments that must be handed in. There are three tests and a cumulative final, and although they are long and intensive, they are absolutely doable. Kind and willing to help.

The one thing I can say about Mrs. Tubbs is that she is very straight forward. You know what to expect from her and know what she expects from you. She goes over all the steps needed for the current subject, in clear order, then goes over a good amount of examples. I took her for summer 1 and wish I had her for summer 2.

Mrs. Tubbs is by far the best Math teacher I have ever had. I will work my schedule around having her as a teacher any time I can. You must do the work but she explains everything in great detail, giving you all the steps and then going into detail about what each step means. I am excited to be taking her again this Fall

Best teacher ever!!!! She cares about those who try. Doing the hw is key but she doesnt collect it. You wont pass with a good grade if you dont practice hw. Explains lecture very well. You will like math with her! This is for any of her math classes. Shes the best!

You must show up to her class to pass. She gives homework every night, but it is just for your practice she does not grade it, but in the beginning of class she asks if anyone has any questions about the homework.

Tough class but she will get you through the material. You get out what you put in.

Shes always accessible to her students and is willing to meet with you often outside of class.

The class is very fast moving so you have to show up to all class meetings. She gives very clear notes and if you do the homework you wont have any problems on the quiz she gives at the beginning of every class. Im someone who struggles with math and I got an A- so I really recommend taking mrs tubb.

Great professor, if you want to really learn the material. She set me up to do great in my future math courses. Strict teaching style but it works,even if I'm not the biggest fan of it. Work and study hard and you'll be fine.

TAKE CALC 1 WITH PROF TUBBS!! I highly recommend her, because she really does want to see her students succeed! Homework isn't graded, but you must do the assignments on time to keep up with the content. It is a fast moving class. 4 exams, 9 or 10 quizzes, and the final. She gave one or two extra credit assignments. Go to office hours for help! :)

Professor Tubbs is an amazing teacher but teaches at a very fast pace. She drops the two lowest quiz grades and replaces the lowest exam grade with your final grade if you do better. Homework is not checked but if you don't do it then you will struggle and have your grades reflect it. This is a hard course but you will learn and succeed if you care

I retook intermediate algebra for the summer, and it helped me gain confidence in math again! She's very passionate about helping her students succeed and it's something that I appreciate. She's very fast paced so highly advise to keep up with the lectures. She drops the two lowest quiz grade and the lowest test exam, and it greatly benefited me.

Although intimidating, when you get to talk to her for an extended period of time, she is the most caring, genuine person who will support and represent you.

What can I say about Professor Tubbs. One of the best math teachers I had in my whole college career so far. As long as you pay attention in class and do the homework you CAN pass. Just keep practicing the worksheet she gives out in class and you'll be fine.

I know this professor very well as I have taken the same course with her multiple times. I am a disabled student and she has been amazing with supporting me throughout my journey. I was very intimidated by her for a long time because she can be very blunt, but when you get to know her, you realize that she just genuinely wants you to succeed.

Professor Tubbs is an amazing teacher. She is known for bad reviews yet my grade is only so high because of her. Yes she is test heavy, as homework is optional, but her grading is very clear and she sets it up for us so easy. I recommend Tubbs for people who don't typically struggle with math.
