It is not hard to receive a good grade in this class. All the expected assignments are listed and automatically graded when turned in, so I knew my grade through out the course. I appreciate her positive and cheerful attitude, especially for a night class. Power points are very boring and make it difficult to engage in lecture. TAKE HER CLASS!

Ms. Weckerly is awesome. She is very considerate of people's situations and also a fun teacher. Not too strict, tests are kind of hard but if you take notes and use your text book, then you will pass the class. Attendance is mandatory due to weekly quizzes and group participation but a couple of missed class would not hurt your grade. Loved her!

The class is straight forward. Four assignments due each week. One project that is turned in segments with a presentation at the end of the semester. The tests are 50 multiple choice questions with open book/notes.

Prof. Weckerly is a very enthusiastic teacher her creates a sense of togetherness among her students and engages the class in conversation. She gives lots of extra credit and is a generous grader. I learned allot and would definitely recommend taking this class!

Prof. Weckerly is awesome! Class isn't hard as long as you show up (you can miss a few classes without it effecting your grade) and do the assignments. Everything is weighted fairly which is nice if your like me and not a good test taker. She is very energetic which make the classes fun and interesting. Take this class!

she engages students in group discussions at class. so your grade is made up out of 6 tests which are all open book however you still need to know how to find the material as its not a walk in the park, Building blocks which help with your final presentation about your own business plan and the rest of the grade is based on participation.

Michelle Is awesome!!! Her class is really informative. She gives a reasonable amount of homework that is defiantly do able. However, in class she let some people talk a little longer then she should. If you show up to her class, pay attention, and do the homework there is no reason to not get an A.

Professor Weckerly is great! Its quite a bit of work, but as long as you keep up with the assignments, it's fairly easy to get an A in the class. She tries to keep the content relevant. You need to go to class, as she does some group participation activities for credit and you can end up with extra credit in the class if you attend every class.

This is a great instructor to take if you are looking for a structured class, clear expectations, and are interested in learning something new. I normally read reviews, but professor Weckerly was so good that I just had to write a review about her. One of the best business classes that I have taken, also I was able to learn so much and apply in class ideas to real life situations. If you do your homework, participate, and pay attention to the lectures, the good grade will come your way.

As an online summer class it wasnt too bad. Open book/note tests were awesome and made the tests easier. (The tests are monitored by your computer camera/microphone so if your uncomfortable being monitored during tests dont take this online course) Only downside was that the McgrawHill assignments could be time consuming and annoying.

English is my second language and I got an A in her online class(BUS 104). Professor Weckerly is very caring and has responded to every single one of my emails carefully. At the beginning of the semester, I was a little worried but after three weeks I was confident that I would pass this class with a good grade.

Professor Michelle did a great job in this class. I learned a lot and yet enjoyed the class. My business writing skills and critical thinking changed to the best after taking this class. This was my favorite writing class, There are a lot of homework and assignment involved but she gives enough time to complete them and has a really clear grading criteria. Highly recommended for business writing class.

I really enjoyed Professor Weckerly's course, she was quick to answer emails and give advice on all homework assignment. She is not a very fair grader and makes sure the criteria for grading is available for each assignment and the content never felt like busy work. I would absolutely take a course if she was teaching again.

I was so worried when I took this class because my English is not really good. But Prof. Weckerly helped me a lot and gave many feedback which could help me improve my writing. Please be prepared each and every week for assignments. There is a lot of assignments and are fairly easy not too difficult but be sure to read the chapters. The writing assignments you need to start early and plan ahead. Time management for this class is key for success especially if you are full time student. Good luck!

I took her 8 week BUS 104 course and I gained a lot of fundamental material for work. Always provided feedback, replied to e-mails right away and is available if needed. Do the work and you will gain knowledge and pass.

This is what you expect in an online class. A lot of homework, but if you do all the homework you will get an easy A. She is very relaxed with the grading. Courses consists of homework assignments (multiple choice questions), writing assignment, and a presentation. There is no tests or exams, and the homework assignments are unlimited time.

I would recommend this class to anyone who wants to major in business or is considering it . I took this class durning the summer & it wasnt too much. Ifyou just read the chapters its easy. Professor Weckerly made BUS1 (online) a breeze to complete. If you don't put in the effort to understand the work, it can be challenging at times, however, she is an easy grader and gives great feedback if you don't understand something fully. I took online BUS1 with Professor Weckerly for a summer class. She puts out clear guidelines and expectations for assignments and how to get full credit. I took an all online class. These can be difficult because you don't physically meet the teacher but Professor Weckerly always replied to any emails I sent within a few hours. She was always available, helpful and gave good advice.

She was a great teacher. I 100% recommend. Same assignments every week with same due dates so you know what to expect. Do your assignments on time and you will pass the class. Proctored exams are necessary but you can use your notes for the tests. Business plan seemed scary but was very easy. She just wants you to get the concept.

I absolutely loved Professor Weckerly, I just finished her BUS1INTRO class, and it was a lot of fun! You learn so much about every aspect of business, and you get to create your own business plan. Took this professor for my Business communication class. This professor always had a positive attitude and is genuinely interested in the course material. She always replied quickly and was flexible of computer issues during COVID 19. each weak you have a chapter assigned reading, a quiz and a group discussion. do the work and you will pass!

This was a fun class that touches on everything business-related. Reading the textbook is essential as any class or business engagement but if you do it, you will do great! Throughout the course of the semester, you are aware of where you are in the class, grade-wise, and what you need to do to get the grade you desire.

One of the easiest classes ever! Just show that you are showing effort and you'll get an A. She uses modules and is very organized, each week she opens up the week's module and you usually have one term project (spread out), 2 chapters in each week (each ch. has discussion, 3 assignments online- all have unlimited attempts). Loved Professor Weckerly! The class is really interesting and enjoyable. There are a lot of assignments weekly but if you just do them you get full credit. and then there are usually two discussion boards. i am not the best test taker and did pretty average on all four tests and still got an A. The professor is very helpful, she always replies to my email very quickly. She gives very detailed commons for my business project and good suggestions, that really help me to run the business. And the collation of the group project is wonderful, as we could study together, the professor also help us during our collation of group project.

You hear many say "I never used anything I learned from [insert class]." This would not be the case with Business Communications. I highly recommend taking this very relevant class from Professor Weckerly. The course material is well organized and she gives great feedback. The grade consists of several parts so even if you're not a great writer, you have chances to make up for it. Also, there's extra credit! After 18 years, I decided to go back to school. I was nervous about going back to school. This class was 100% online. Every assignment was very clear. Test were not too difficult. The one project was broken down to manageable sizes . I'm really glad I took this course. Even if you are not a business major, you definitely learn a lot in this class.

I read the reviews for the BUS1 class with Michelle Weckerly before I took the class, and I was not disappointed. There is plenty of reading; some concepts were new, and others were relearning, but the class offers real-life applications for entrepreneurship or people majoring in Business administration.

I took this class the first 8 weeks of the semester, so it is a lot of information to take in every week, but Professor Weckerly does a good job of outlining what needs to get done every week. I took her online 8 week course and felt like it was manageable. Have two chapters at least due a week along with a discussion, key terms, and two connect assignments that are relatively easy. All the tests are open book and open note but use proctorio. Have a business plan project that consists of 5 parts and is easy to understand, so take her.

I took an online course for intro to business with Prof. Wickedly and I really enjoyed it! The class is pretty straightforward and you learn a lot of introductory topics. I found it was pretty easy to get an A.The only thing I didn't like is we had to use Proctorio (which no other professor has ever used) but it was whatever. I'd recommend!

I really enjoyed the content and format of the Intro to Marketing course I took with this professor. It was an asynchronous course with the McGraw Hill connect book/workbook used. The assignments/discussions were applicable and dare I say almost enjoyable. Graded fairly, very kind professor who cares!

BUS1 is an introductory class, making the material straightforward. The professor graded assignments often and I had a good experience!

The lecture videos were the only thing I used to study. I had a 96, so I skipped taking the last exam and ended with a 92. I loved this class, but just note that the last 2 weeks are accounting and number heavy, so pay attention to the videos. I really appreciate Mrs.Weckerly!

I have taken an asynchronous business class with Professor Weckerly before and I can say that the teaching and assignment structure are similar in both. Every week had the same structure of work, reading, short quizzes, then assignments. I took this course in 8 weeks instead of 16, so each week covers 2 to 3 chapters, but it is manageable.

I recommend this class if you are in high school or getting into business classes. The assignments were straightforward and all online through a website, so they were easy to access and complete. The tests were the only part to be weary of, but if you read and study, you should do fine. M Weckerly gave amazing feedback and was always there to help!

Great teacher. She clearly loves teaching and it shows through her personality. All the semester's homework is given all at once and you can work ahead if you want. Not only was the class easy, it was informative, and she was also very responsive to anything I had questions about (this is an online course so communication was through the computer). Her class was engaging and helped me really put textbook situations to reality.

I found this class very useful and impactful for my future. There is one huge project that is worked on throughout the entire semester which is broken down weekly making is easier to complete, it's pretty simple (besides financial statements), fun and interactive. This was a completely online class where you can work during your own time and at your own pace. I found this class really helpful. Professor Weckerly always gave feedback on every assignment. Most assignments let you check your work before submitting or even redo your responses. Make sure to follow instructions and turn everything in on time.

Mrs Weckerly did an amazing job as my Business teacher. This was my first year starting a business class, so she allowed me to take full advantage of the class. Her work was not difficult, but it was very time-consuming. She would give video lectures at the start of every lesson and this would help you later for the proctored exams.

The class was really simple and the proffesor is really easy going. Semester consists of about 4-5 tests, hw due every sunday and a group presentation as your final very simple and not a heavy workload. Study for the tests and show up to class (attendence is a big part of your grade) and you'll get an A.

The class was very easy, and the teacher is extremely kind and provides helpful feedback on assignments. The most time-consuming part of the course is the building block assignments, so it's best to start those early. Aside from that, the class was easy overall.
