Amazing professor! She's helpful, understanding,very sweet, and is open to new ideas about the class. She makes the class really fun for as broad/boring the class content can be.

Dr Wilkes-Carilli is the best professor i have has at ESU my 2 years being here! shes extremely outgoing and will make the most boring classes extremely interesting. She will go out of her way to help you out too. For the guys out there shes real good looking too! :-)but seriously by far the best professor and youll def do good if you put in effort

I strongly recommend this teacher to anyone who wants to have a great time in class while learning. She has creative exercises daily and really brings the class together as one. Normally I dread 8 a.m. classes but her classes were so creative and fun that I kick started my day with energy! The speeches are fun to create and present and she gives helpful feedback on speeches, tests, and just about everything else.

She is an amazing lady & i loved everything about her class. I made a lot of friends in that class because of the activities she used to make everyone feel comfortable, which is extremely important in a speech class.

She is a great teacher! although the class was at 9am there was nothing wrong with it! The class was so much fun! everything she did made sense and the two test we did have were very reasonable. Wilkes-Carilli is BY FAR one of the BEST teachers I have EVER had! She's very bubbly and outgoing and you can truly tell that she cares about all of her students! She provided each student with useful feed back on speeches and will provide stundents with as much extra help as they need! She truly has a heart of gold!

During a semester I can only describe as HELL, she gave me the feedback and guidance I needed to get my requirements for the class done. I had an awful start to my speeches, but she gave me the confidence necessary to calm down and not worry, and I thank her for that.

Michelle Wilkes -Carilli was one of the best professor i have had. instead of doing 2 or 3 big exams she would have us read a chapter then give a quiz afterwards. Our group project was also our final and it was something that we would have to do in our field which was nice. she's very caring and answers all the questions you have.

She is a wonderful professor that I wish I had for more classes. She made studying for tests easy and fun by turning it into a game, and by the end of the game we had a very clear study guide as to what would be on the tests. She makes all her requirements very clear so you can definitely get an A. It won't be easy but it's very straight forward.

Wilkes-Carilli cares about her students more then any other professor I have had. She is very accommodating to her class and she wants you to succeed, she uses the whole text book which was great.

Professor cares about her students and takes the time to get to know them rather than showing up just because its her job. She is a fun and funny professor who likes to have fun, but get work done. She is big on end of the semester group projects and makes sure not to move on without her students really understanding the material.
