Mickey wasn't an awful professor, but he wasn't good either. The lectures were very boring, and he would often rush through the notes, so you're on your own. As long as you go to class, he will bump your grade up a bit.
The lectures were just going over the notes and problem examples that had been posted on eLC. Professor Dunlap often went through them quickly and left students confused by his answers to questions.
Mickey was a very laid back professor. If you actually go to class and put in a good effort towards understanding the material, you should do just fine. Sometimes his answers to questions would be a little vague, eventually he'll go through enough examples to where you'll understand. Tests are on the difficult side, but its dept. standard.
If you want to pass this class, be prepared to take a lot of time to teach yourself the material. He rushes through our problems in class and if you ask him a question, you get an answer that has nothing to do with what you asked... or a sassy remark. The worst part about this class is using WebAssign for tests. Be careful entering in your answers.
First off, if you're thinking of taking this class as an Easy A filler class, DON'T. You have to dedicate time to studying this material and making sure you know it back and forth in order to even pass. Mickey uploads all of the notes to elc which is extremely helpful. I also recommend taking every practice test he posts. NO extra credit.
Dunlap is a decent professor but the statistics department is terrible! If you can avoid statistics all together do that. All of the stat2000 professors follow the same worksheets and notes. The test are kinda difficult also.
Dr. Dunlap is the best Stat2000 professor to take. His lectures are very helpful, go to them! He will post his notes, but you won't understand them unless you show up. There is always at least one trick question on the tests, but those are departmentalized. Homework is fair and easy to get a 100, same with lab and these are great grade boosters.
Dunlap is a great professor and probably the best choice out of the stat2000 professors. To be honest the entire stat department isn't that great and the tests are terrible and way harder than what we learn in class. But if you have no choice but to take stat then definitely take him. If you don't have to take stat at all, stay away.
Honestly, all stat teachers use the same tests and upload the notes , so it doesn't really matter what teacher you choose to take. The class isn't too hard if you go to class and take the tests seriously. Dunlap is really nice and explains the notes well enough.
Doesn't really answer questions well and his lectures are just reading off of the notes he posts on eLC. However, class is important to get clicker points for participation! I didn't find tests super hard as long as you do all the available practice material and pay attention.
Professor Dunlap is a nice guy who genuinely wants you to learn. Honestly, it does not matter who your stat teacher is because every class has the same tests and notes. Be sure to go to class because participation counts as a portion of your grade, and study the reviews/do the extra web assigns because the tests are basically the same.
I feel bad for Dunlap. He is passionate about stat and I think he wants us to learn, but has NO people skills. If you want a question answered, find a tutor. My advice would be take your time on the homework and make sure you know how to do everything. Side note: if you fail test 1, DROP the class. Test 2 and 3 are significantly harder.
He doesn't answer your questions directly but instead gives you other questions to answer to have you answer your own question, which never works. Used every possible resource to study and prepare, but never made higher than a C on tests (those were the good ones). Go to class and answer the clicker questions for participation points. JUST BEWARE
Mickey (as he prefers to be called) is a great teacher, and a very friendly, casual, enjoyable guy. He unfortunately teaches statistics, but he does a 4/5 job teaching, and I never felt afraid asking question. He didn't feel like some authority figure, he was very approachable, which is saying a lot for a class of this size. Tests are VERY hard,.
Mickey Dunlap's teaching style is rapid, and he doesn't make it easy to understand the material. He rushes through lecture notes, not explaining much beyond what is already written. I had to go to tutoring every week to grasp the concepts. The lectures were quick and vague and didn't help me to understand what being taught.
Mickey Dunlap is a great professor. He teaches well even though STAT2000 is so easy you won't even really need him. Plenty of opportunities to get perfect scores on homework. He offers lots of practice questions in class with thorough explanations.
Professor Dunlap is clearly very knowledgeable about statistics. The lectures are easy to follow, and even though the course may not be the easiest, you can get an A if you put in the time. One thing to note is that he uses Tophat, and missing one class can lose a lot of Tophat points even though attendance isn't technically mandatory.
Very difficult but doable. I highly recommend taking his class. Just be prepared to put in the work.
I don't have too many complaints about Prof. Dunlap other than the difficulty of the clicker questions. STAT2000 is structured TERRIBLY at UGA. All tests and homework are online which can greatly affect scores depending on what kind of learner you are (tactile, etc). Tests are hard and labs don't help your understanding of the material at all.
Dunlap is a nice guy, but the STAT2000 program in general is rough. Sometimes he doesn't seem to know how to help/answer questions and is himself confused by course material. The tests are really hard, and Dunlap doesn't make them so it is hard to prepare for. I studied a lot for this class and still failed every test and quiz we had.
Great professor that really cares about his students. You are able to drop 2 HW, 2 Quizzes, 2 labs, and 2 days of Tophat as well as take a practice test before the real one for up to 5 bonus points. Dunlap is always available and open to answer questions. The lab was great. Highly recommend taking his course.
He posts notes online and goes over them in class. If you understand notes, no need to go to class except TopHat participation. He teaches very fast but lets you ask questions. Can be sassy if you ask "dumb" questions. Weekly homework and bi-weekly quizzes. Only 3 tests but gives extra credit if you do a timed practice test.
The class is alright, other professors are definitely clearer at explaining the material. The lectures are just going through powerpoints and they're posted online so you don't really have to go to class. Participation is your test average or Tophat so it's up to you. Make sure you go to the labs and test reviews or else it's hard to do well.
Stat2000 is hard enough without Mickey's teaching or lack there of. He prints out the notes from eLC and puts them under a document camera. He underlines parts in the notes and doesn't expand much from that. The quizzes/tests don't line up with the examples in class and on homework. He gives an attitude when students ask questions. Take Toebben
A very cut-and-dry sort of dude but he gets the job done. The class itself is super easy and he works through a lot of example problems and you can always go to office hours or talk to him during or after class. This is an intro to stat so the material is pretty basic and simple. Participation is based on TopHat so you just gotta show up to class.
Dunlap is a solid option. He is good at lecturing and does problems with you. He's not always super good at answering specific questions, but it varies. It was an easy class for me, but he does have office hours and makes himself available. A nice guy who is very intelligent on the subject and gets across what you need to know.
He's a good guy, really laid back. There are in class questions you need to answer so you need to go to class, but it's not a big deal if you miss a class here or there. lectures are a little boring and he reads off papers but will work the questions out for you so you can see them. He posts a lot of eLc if that helps you
Professor is boring, but not really his fault since it's math. Constant webassign quizzes and hw. Lots of Tophat questions in class & not much time to answer them. All of the stat profs share material so doesn't matter much who you take. All lectures notes available online. Good at giving students chances to ask questions. Go to test reviews!!!
i went to class maybe 5 times total all semester and made an A. He does use tophat for points but you can use your test average to count for participation instead which i did. i took the lecture notes which were posted on elc on my own time. however when i did go to class, i thought he was a good teacher and made the material very clear.
This class isn't that difficult, but his use of Tophat during lecture is infuriating. He often puts up questions that are accuracy based and gives you very little time to solve them before he closes them. If you do well on the webassign and tests (which aren't that hard) this shouldn't matter because you can replace your participation grade.
He really wants to help everyone understand everything and cares about the class a lot.
Not the worst, but definitely not the best. he doesn't answer questions in class very clearly, moves through problems quickly, and his writing is basically illegible. if you do take him, use Toebben's notes on elc, they're way more organized and helpful than Dunlap's. and tests are 61% of the grade so you can't really afford to do badly
I absolutely hated this class. Dunlap was not a good teacher. He goes over everything in class very fast, and I end up teaching myself the day's lecture (it being 20 pages long) every night at home.
Pretty good teacher, super nice but doesn't always explain things thoroughly the first time. Ask lots of questions if you don't understand. He is very helpful when asked specific questions. Would definitely recommend him. Showing up to class is half the battle! Show up and pay attention to do well.
Mickey Dunlap told us in the beginning of the semester that 20% of students made an A in the course. I did this, but only because I kept up with every homework, quiz, and lab offered, which most students don't. If you can do these things (aka be good at organization and scheduling), you should be fine since the content itself isn't that difficult.
I didn't like this class, but I had to take it. Dunlap's teaching wasn't very helpful for me, but he seemed like he was available and willing to help during office hours. It could've just been me, but I feel like I didn't learn much and struggled to get good grades. They do drop grades which is nice
Dunlap presented straight from the powerpoint lecture notes that are available on ELC. He does jump around sometimes but gets back on track. Attending class will help you understand material and always go to labs. Tests are taken during lab time and not during the lecture period. The homework can be a bit time consuming.
He moves kind of quickly when lecturing, but he's very organized and really knows exactly what he's doing. The way he presents information to his class makes it very easy for me to understand. I really like the class, easy A I think.
Lectures don't take attendance but you should go because that's where all the info is. He goes SUPER fast which can be hard to understand. Lots of quizzes and homework weekly.
Statistics in general is a subject that one has to practice to keep up with, but having him as a professor doesn't help as he goes quick and sometimes jumbles up his words and becomes confusing. The weekly quizzes and homework assignments are do-able as long as you try and ask other people for a bit of help. His lectures aren't the most engaging.
Dunlap is a cool guy but as for his teaching, he moves very fast through his lectures. There's a lot of review days in between new topics covered and he makes sure we have a lot of practice with the different concepts. His lectures aren't the most fun to sit through, so you really have to try your best to stay engaged. This class is all mentality.
The professor choice for stats really doesn't matter. All teachers grade and give the same assignments. The professor is mainly there to make students aware of the concepts and materials. Personally I stopped attending class after the 2nd week and made high As on all my tests. Dunlap didn't seem bad when I did show up though. Overall very easy A.
This class was pretty easy tbh. He moves through material quick, so be prepared to take really diligent notes. The class is homework heavy, and he leaves the notes up after class for the opportunity to take pictures so I never went to class. I was still able to get the material tho so that's cool. Tests are really straightforward.
I am very good at math, but let me tell you, the leniency of the web assign tests are ridiculous. There is no partial credit. I made an A, but that is because I am naturally good at math. I also never went to class because the lectures were so boring. They like top bring up oddly worded questions on the quizzes and final that we haven't seen.
Mickey Dunlap is a very good professor. If you learn how to use Statcrunch, which you'll be using in labs, this class is an easy A. STAT 2000 is all about knowing how to plug values into formulas and Statcrunch does most of the work for you. The only way this class is hard is if you never come to class or do any homework.
He teaches the material really well! I found that the best way I learned was to print his notes from eLC and then follow along during lecture. Tests are a lot harder than homework and quizzes (first ever college test was a C!) and everything is on WebAssign no matter what professor you take, but the easy optional final really helped and got me my A
Dr. Dunlaps class was the worst class I have take at UGA. His notes are very difficult to follow, as they do not give clear examples or definitions. He makes the class 10x harder than it needs to be. Take a different professor. The only plus it is that attendance is not mandatory and you will do not any better if you actually go to class.
3 tests (60%), homework (25%) and a final paper (15%). He lectures through examples pretty much every day, and multiple periods are spent reviewing material before each test. Tests are open note and open book, so not bad at all. Also, at the end of the semester he dropped 2 homework grades. Great guy and professor, go to his office hours and talk!
Dunlap is very monotone which makes the class very boring, with all due respect. After a few weeks, a number of students just stop going to class and just made sure to stay up to date on the assignments using eLC and WebAssign. This course really could have been an online class. You could message Dunlap using the clas GroupMe if you wanted his help
I tend to do better in classes I enjoy. Let's just say I didn't enjoy this class, and my grade reflected that. At a point I stopped showing up because the lectures were boring and I mostly taught myself the material. Stay on top of Webassign hw/quizzes, it'll help your grade bc tests were not in my favor. Wouldn't recommend but tolerable ig.
Dr. Dunlap is very knowledgable regarding Statistics, which is not an easy class, especially for non-math majors who need it as their quantitative reasoning credit. Having said that, he works extremely quickly while doing little to explain the concepts he is practicing. Tests are hard, quizzes are unforgiving, but Dr. Dunlap does a lot to help.
I have a 3.8 GPA, this is the only class I've ever struggled in. This professor does not explain any concepts in class whatsoever. He only shuffles through statistic problems as if its a refresher course. I received a C and D for my first two tests. I finally got an A for the last test when I stopped going to his lectures and taught myself.
Dr. Dunlap spends class going over example problems on worksheets he puts on ELC. If you simply print those out and actively follow along in class it is an easy A. You get a whole piece of paper to write anything you want for each test. Hw and quizzes are online and he drops two lowest and you can avg your lowest test grade with an optional final.
Prof Dunlap is a nice guy who is always willing to help and answer questions and he knows a lot about stats. Homework every week is easy, the quizzes are a little harder, but he drops a few at the end of the semester. He is a solid teacher, but it's easy to teach yourself and get an A. Attendance is not mandatory at all.
The class includes 3 tests and homework, but the paper was removed due to COVID-19. He lectures through examples every day, and the tests are open note and open book. So you will do good if you show up to class. On a lesser note, the textbook is just used for some of the homework problems.
lots of information in stats. he teaches from lectures, no book. everything is a word problem, and begins to look the same. a tip for this class:download the class slides before class and fill in the info along with him in class on a laptop. he goes fast in lecture, but tries his best explaining. lab is important too. made some good friends there
The professor is great , detailed notes, can ask him questions easily in class GroupMe. Although tests are OPEN notes and internet, it will be useless without reading notes and attending lectures. HIGHLY recommend reading over the notes before class and learning from homework. Reading notes before class will be super helpful since class is fast
Stats is eh in general. Mickey is very nice and always willing to help, but the class can get kind of boring at times since he's not a super exuberant professor. Still, he's a solid choice and you can succeed at stats if you pay attention and practice.
The class was structured similarly to his STAT2010 course, so we had 3 tests and homework. He lectures through examples every day, and as long as you study the examples and practice, you should do fine in the class! On a lesser note, the textbook is just used for some of the homework problems.
Tests are open note, and the tests are usually just like the examples we do in class. He offers office hours to help with the homework, and he usually gives you hints with similar problems to help with the homework. He's easily available through groupme, emails, and office hours. He's a very nice guy and nice teacher!
Took him during a COVID semester. The asynchronous option was nice. Lectures are straightforward and if you do them and the labs (not graded), you'll get an A on the test. He is very accessible and responds in the GroupMe actively.
The class was entirely videos that he uploaded to eLC and you watched on your own time. One pretty easy HW every week and a few open note tests. I thought the videos were easy to understand and to the point, and he provides a lot of examples. Super accessible as well. If you put in even the bare minimum effort you should have no problem.
this class is billed as an intro but is treated like a review. here are the issues I've encountered: - Boring lectures with unclear explanations -unclear grading criteria -does not enter grades in a timely manner: (The course is almost over and he hasn't graded a third of the assignments ) -course quality plummeted after withdraw deadline.
I registered for this class with it saying it was hybrid. The first thing we were told was to not come in person. If you are like me and need math classes in person then don't take him. Also most of the videos, notes, and all of the labs were not made by him. And just as a warning, HW, labs, and practice exams are NOTHING like quizzes and exams.
Very difficult class, and the lecture videos he posted seemed to have nothing to do with homework, tests or quizzes. It is a class that can be passed relatively easily, but not one that is an easy A or B for that matter.
The class is pretty equal amongst the entire department and most teachers just use the department videos. Dunlap does his own videos and notes which I thought were more helpful. The class itself sucks but I think he's the best stat professor UGA has. His QandA are really helpful and he's really responsive via e-mail and group me.
If you don't have to take stat plz dont. Extremely hard for intro class. Test account for 50 percent of grade and are so much harder than homework and quizzes. If you have to take it, just study like crazy for the test and try to not get behind. Also doing as good as possible on labs and HW will help your final grade so dont slack off on those
This class is test heavy but if you watch all the videos and do the practice problems you will be fine. The tests are tricky but Professor Dunlap himself is extremely helpful and cares very much about his students. Attend class/ Q & A sessions, they help a lot. probably the best Stat2000 professor at UGA
This class was mostly homework-based. He cares about student's grades by dropping 2 homework grades. He usually posts his lecture videos which are really helpful in learning the material. He used a lot of R Programming to explain concepts which are really good if you are starting to learn about R Programming. I would recommend taking his class.
This is the second class I've taken with Professor Dunlap. He is a very fair grader and awesome at answering questions. He was also super accessible either through Zoom or in-person classes during the summer '21 semester. It's a tough class, but listening during lecture and asking questions definitely makes it manageable.
Good teacher imo. He explains things well and brings complex stat narrative down to earth. Heavy use of JMP. Youll need to go to class to be able to replicate it on your own (which is a necessity for hw). I wish they would teach open source stat software (like R), but not sure thats up to him. Optional q&a days usually whenever a hw is due
Dr Dunlaps class was very easy. Just come to class and take the notes he gives you and youll pass very easily. The notes are also posted at the end of the day but it doesnt contain anything for JMP so make sure you come to class for those. Three exams very easy has test reviews for all exams and HW.
Dr. Dunlap is a very picky grader. Even if something seems extremely obvious or implied you must state it exactly the way he wants or points will be deducted. I think he thinks that the concepts in class are hard for students (they aren't), the only difficult part is figuring out which JMP add in to use when. He doesn't seem to understand this.
I was nervous for this class because STAT 2000 was difficult for me, but I found this course easier. We had 1 homework a week which took like an hour. The hw is easy if you go to class and take notes because they are pretty much based off of the notes. He drops your 2 lowest hw grades and the tests are only a little more difficult than the hw.
Dunlap is pretty chill as a teacher. He tells you exactly what you need to know and how to do the homework- so an A is basically guaranteed if you literally just listen and remember what he says. Tests throw a few curveball questions but its nothing that open-notes won't help.
Only graded on a weekly homework and 3 tests.
Weekly homework assignments but they're really helpful in staying caught up. He posts all the notes from class which is really helpful and doing the homework and attending class has you set for the tests which are open note. Pretty simple class, not much to it, the way he has it set up makes everything pretty easy.
Dr. Dunlap is a great professor I had him for STAT 2000 as a freshman! This class is an easy A, all you have to do is go to class and learn how to use JMP. There was hw every week and 3 tests. Overall, if you went to class you would be fine.
This class was really easy in my opinion- a lot of what we learned was stuff I already knew from previous stat classes so it was a lot of review. The hardest part is learning to use JMP, but Dr. Dunlap provides guides and videos to help. Overall would definitely take this class again.
If you need to take STAT2010, or STAT4210, Dunlap is your guy. Tells you exactly how to do the homework, tests are easy (if you listen in class/read notes), and drops 3 homework grades at the end of the semester out of 10/11 total. Pretty good at being accessible outside of class, but will get irritated if you ask questions he clearly went over.
Professor Dunlap is an alright teacher but he is a harsh grader. Often times he expects more to be done on the homework than the homework itself suggests. He expects detailed responses on homework but doesn't clearly state what responses he wants and oftentimes gives little to no explanation on why he marked things wrong.
I really enjoyed professor dunlap, he gives clear instructions and always recieves partial credit for homework/tests. Homework almost every week, but class is optional on the days it is due. Only 3 tests (open note) , a bit more difficult than the homeworks, but if you go to class and pay attention you will be fine.
Writing a review just 1 month into the semester. I'll write another at the end. Giving a 2 because students didn't get grades for homework 1 until after HW3 was due. Got a C- on the 1st and failed the 2nd and 3rd. The mistakes could've been fixed if I saw HW1 grade earlier. His lectures are very solid and helpful, but late grading is a real killer.
I wrote a review gave him a 2/5 and said receiving grades for homeworks 1, 2, and 3 late was a huge bummer. If I got back HW1 earlier, I could've done alot better on 2 and 3. Grading is super harsh and the criteria isn't clear enough imo. That being said, here's another review that's 4/5 because his lectures are really good and he obviously cares.
Professor Dunlap is an ok teacher. Does not give clear grading criteria or answer questions in a helpful manner during class. Sometimes is confrontational about questions in class and skips over the answer to questions in class to get through his handouts. Unclear grading criteria and not much willingness to help deters me from taking again.
Don't expect the most engaging or exciting lectures, but he explains how to do the work well and he can help whenever you need it. Participate in class if you want the lectures to go smoothly and you'll probably get out early on most days
His lectures aren't the most exciting thing ever but they are good. There is weekly homework but it's not too much and it does help you stay up to date with the information. The grading criteria is 45% homework and 55% tests so you do need to know what you're doing. I didn't like him at the beginning of the semester but he did grow on me.
He's you're guy if your not a stats person. I had him M-W-F's and it was hard to stay with him. It's not him. There are a lot of things to cover in a short amount of time. He has lecture notes you can following during class. He gives a lot of hw but pay attention during class, you'll be able to solve them since they're based on the lectures.
I liked that Dr. Dunlap uploaded the worksheets before class so I could download them and write directly on them. He did a lot of examples -- very helpful. The tests were a bit hard, with the homework being pretty easy if you take notes. I would have liked if he had stuck to using R instead of another program because the corequisite class uses R.
I'm not sure if he changed a lot from previous semesters, given past ratings, but this semester was incredible. Homework & tests were graded quickly & lectures were clear. Lots of homework but super helpful for tests. An A is a 95 and up which is annoying, but it's doable. Do the homework and go to the extra help sessions. He's effortlessly funny.
there are hws due each week and 3 online tests that aren't cumulative. make sure to go to lectures bc attendance is taken using tophats. hws have strict grading criteria, so be specific with answers. other than that, dunlap is a good professor and does reviews on the days that hws are due and days near the test date.
He is a really good professor and teaches by going over lots of example problems which I liked. He shows you how to use JMP in a way that is easy to understand. There is homework basically every week but it helps prepare you for the tests which there are only three of. The only downside is that an A is a 95 which is pretty annoying but is doable.
Overly complicates things for a 2000 level statistics course. For example, calculating p-values from simulations whose data are vaguely labeled, and requiring all assumptions to be tested for every hypothesis test. Expects things to be in your answers that he didn't mention or ask for. Caught him browsing r*ddit when I visited his office.
He's alright. An A is a 95 which is obnoxious. Dunlap is funny without trying, and pretty clearly explains things for JMP. Tests are online and he gives you step by step notes on how to do things, as well as records JMP tutorials. Attendance policy is unforgiving. Decent prof, I wouldn't sweat too bad if you have to take him!
My only issue is that an A (4.0) is a minimum 95 which is pretty much not possible in this class. He lectures kind of fast. The questions are weirdly worded on tests and I had to spend more time deciphering what I was being asked rather than the problem itself. No rounding on grades. Thanks for tanking my GPA :)
Fair and reasonable in difficulty and teaching method. Willing to help if need be, if not a little difficult at times. Class requires considerable effort but nothing unreasonable. No textbook needed.
Three exams worth 60% percent of your grade, but he grades very fairly and they're open note.
I took both STAT 2010 and 4210 with professor Dunlap, and both were taught very well. It's a lecture style class with the occasional optional homework review day. Attendance is mandatory through Tophat, and to get an A in the class you need a 95+ with no rounding, but exams are take home, online, and open note, so it balances out pretty well.
definition of mid prof. he did his job and thats about it. lectures were nothing to applaud over if you have questions he does Q&A sessions the day every homework is due. 95+ is an A which is kind of wild. 60% of your grade is based on 3 exams but the first two are online so take advantage of that.
Go to class and pay attention and you'll do well. His HW problems follow very closely to the lecture assignment notes. Some of the questions can get tricky, but he hosts dedicated HW review days for any sorts of problems and even drops the lowest 2-3 sets. The tests were online and very straightforward.
Go to every class because Tophat questions are used every lecture. For homework, he drops three if you do the course evaluation, but it still counts for a good bit since a 95 is minimum for an A. Tests are open note and there are only 3, so do your best on those.
Professor Dunlap's STAT4210 class is a solid choice. While the grading scale is a bit strict, his lectures are clear and engaging. The homework helps prepare for the tests, and unstuck study proved to be a useful tool for study prep. Attendance is mandatory, but it's worth it to get the most out of the course.
The homeworks are graded by the TA and the exams are mainly your grade however the questions mainly come from homework you have done and the answers are posted after you submit them. I would recommend taking notes before class and watch his videos
This class was very easy, but there are only 3 tests that make up 20% of your grade each. Each test has only 4 questions, so each question is about 5% of your grade. You mess up one, and it'll bring you from an A to an A-. Furthermore, the questions aren't evenly weighted, and you won't know if they're worth more or less until after they're graded.
Dr. Dunlap's lectures are decent, take notes. The 95 for an A is hard. The first tests were at home, open note, not restrictive browser, and even still were difficult. The final in person exam was probably the easiest. Look up the difference in processes/tests for categorical vs. quantitative and raw data vs summary stats; it's not always clear.
This was an okay class. The TA who grades everything is obviously not in cohorts with the professor and does not grade the same way the professor would. Attendance kind-of mandatory, as long as you get your daily problems done, you're good. The TA's grading fluctuate and does not really have a system, its really just based off of how he is feeling
Requires 95+ for an A and attendance is mandatory to see daily homework problems, but lectures are only 30 minutes and no fluff. The only class this semester I never intentionally skipped, because I always knew he would give a useful, comprehensible lecture. If you take DETAILED notes, you'll be all good, and you can use the notes on the exams.
