I took three classes with this professor and got A's in all of them. She was very accessible, helpful, and made the material seem relatively easy. Her teaching style is virtually idiot-proof.

I took 102 with two other professor and did not pass. i took her and from the start i understood everything she was great and funny and really nice

she likes to go over conceptionally without giving you the equations of whatever you may need. When it comes to equations, you kind of need to teach it to yourself, because most of her stuff is vocab, but yet she will put statements on her tests.

She is a good teacher, a little unorganized...but pay attention and attend every class. & u should do fine

She is an excellent teacher in 102, just okay in 101. If you pay attention you will do good. If you don't understand something she will tell you exactly how to do it. She has reviews for midterms and final. All quizzes are online.

She is helpful in outling what to study for exams. The book is sooo boring so studying powerpoints are sufficient. The beginning of the quarter was fun but towards the end watch out for mood swings.

All those complaining about her maybe would prefer some of the other DePaul profs who don't give a damn! She cares about how things are going and is always helpful as long as she knows you're trying. Focus on internal control for 2nd half. 1st half is just reading the chapters and memorizing.

She was a good teacher compared to others. I had Murphy for acc 101 and she was harder. Wendorf at least goes through the homework and she puts notes up on blackboard. Accounting is a hard subject and it is difficult to grasp, if you are failing or doing bad maybe it accounting is not your thing and most of the teachers are not easy.

Easiest ACC class ever, though boring. I haven't studied once, did the SUA the night before due and doodled during lectures, still got an A. Her jokes aren't funny but you can rip on her and she laughs with you. She honestly cares and is available to anyone that needs help.

She is a nice lady and tries to be helpful. The class is a bit dry, but she tries to make the best of it. The tests are pretty hard and you need to make sure to pay attention during class.

She is soo nice!! For me, the SUA was very helpful because it reminded me of a lot of accounting processes that I had forgoten. Her tests are not that hard if you STUDY!! Lectures are a bit boring (powerpoint from book) but it could be alot worse!!! Not so bad!

Tries to be funny, boring class, easy material - common sense theories, SUA is time-consuming but possible. Classes are super boring and lectures are read verbatim. Makes class longer than it should be - but at least it isn't difficult. (counts attendance)

Disorganized, nice. But the exams are kinda like WTF? Not bad but take Shelton instead if you can.

Very nice and helpful lady. Her lectures are a bit on the boring side and her jokes are cheesy, but overall I'd take her again. She takes attendence. SUA looks ridiculous at first, but it turned out to be my favorite part of the class. Bottom line concept of this class: How to prevent stealing from companies mixed with some basic acc work.

Very easy class overall. Midterm was multiple choice straight from the slides. Final had short answer/essay ?'s (much more difficult). SUA is time consuming, but easy & any questions are answered on the discussion board-don't leave it for the last minute! Attendance is a big deal to her.

Mickey Wendorf is perhaps the most energetic and positive teacher I have had during my 7.5 years at DePaul. Very intellegent and has a great personality. I highly recommend taking this class - it is definitey worth it. Not bad to look at either!

Wow, there isnt a good place to start with this lady. Most boring, unorganized teacher at DePaul. SUA is easy compared to the final she gives, most CPA's wouldnt pass it. Avoid this lady at all cost, she has a terrible sense of humor and a terrible sense of teaching.

Best bet for intro accounting classes. She's fairly easy and dosent talk down to you like another 102 professor who shall remain nameless. Take her!

Mickey is a kook! Very pleasant teacher and knows her stuff well. The material is basic common sense but the tests are way harder. Few take home quizzes, take home midterm, 50% take home final, and kind of hard but fun SUA project. Little curve for the final grade.

The subject is not exciting. Really cares about what you learn. If you do what you're supposed to, the class isn't too hard. She gives you alot of stuff on Blackboard to help study. SUA was intense, but helpful. Don't know what class some of these reviewers were going to -- she covers the SUA in class and I got help online and in her office.

Overall a good teacher. She tends to keep things pretty plain and simple so its easy to understand. Homework is modest and not to hard. Test aren't to hard either. As long as you pay attention in class and do the HW you will be fine. She also posts all of the notes on Blackboard so you don't really have to take any notes yourself which is nice.

first test was take home and online. over 6 quizes online. curves the grade. not clear on subject. final test avg grade was 79 of 133. if you wanna learn take someone else

She is an amazing professor. I don't agree with the comments below. I think she is great , her class is not boring like other accounting class , makes jokes and like to have fun. She puts her full effort in teaching and try to get us through.the quizes and home work is all online and can be checked b4 submitting , that a straight 50% of ur grade!

I am assuming all the negitive grades are from one person only who might have suck at accounting him/her self.. not the professor fault!

GREAT TEACHER!!! If you dont get something ask her she will explain it to you until you get it. Good amount of homework which is useful. If you want to do good sit in the front and really pay attention. She is a really good teacher.

How this teacher has negative comments is beyond me. Really sweet lady, cares about her students, and is lenient on grading. She's disorganized at all, powerpoints each class and explains everything thoroughly. But, just like any other class, it does require effort on the student's part. Take her, if the opportunity presents itself.

I really do like professor Wendorf. She does want her students to do well and is always willing to help. To be successful in this course, which I learned, is that YOU MUST ASK QUESTIONS ON STUFF YOU ARE CONFUSED WITH. She will go more in detail if you ask questions, and will do so during office hours.
