He's awesome. He lets you know right off the bat what you do and do NOT need to know. Very clear, extremely intelligent. Tests are a little difficult, but study the notes. You'll be ah'ight! :o)

Dr Bradys exams are applications based. He gives questions that are in the from of a scenario. If you pay attention to the examples he gives in class and study your powerpoint slides the exams will not be a problem. He translates boring topics and to make them interesting. He assigns SPSS software homework. Pay attention to his inclass examples.

Really great teacher, keeps class entertaining and lecture is easy to follow. Attendance is not mandatory but a lot of questions on his tests are from examples he used in class. Textbook wasn't used that much but you need the CD-Rom in order to get an access code to take your online quizzes.

Honestly, one of the best professors I have ever had and I am very picky. Class is engaging and fun. He does experiments with students and shows funny clips relevant to the material. The first test I got a 66 but I still ended with an A in the class because he drops the lowest score and I learned how to study for his tests. Buy bills notes. GREAT!

Tests are difficult and largely from class discussion. 3 tests and an optional final that replaces the lowest test, 10% online quiz grades. Lecture is both interesting and relevant which is good because the test largely comes from them. If you study you can get the A.

Not an easy A, it is my major! Brady is much better than Santorino, but Brady's tests are hard. On the bright side he always curves the tests but still, don't expect anything but a B unless you work very hard. Read the book and learn the definitions, the powerpoints are rarely on the tests but the book is (even though he always says otherwise).

Great class, he posts video lectures which i loved. Its not difficult at all if you watch the lectures and go over the powerpoints. theres just a lot of random assignments that you have to keep on top of but other than that its a great class and dr Brady knows what hes talking about.

I am taking him online and he connects with you through the recorded lectures. Great personality! His tests are based 99% on the video lectures & study guides. I didn't put 100% effort into the first exam so i got an 85, but seems like an fairly easy A if you apply yourself!

tests are only tough if you do not study his study guide ALONG WITH adding notes to it. I would take it again. The simulation is a pain in the ass. I did 5/6 of them because I missed the last, and got a 87. So I think as long as you put in the effort, you'll be fine.

Material is very interesting, Brady is a fun guy and makes lectures fun to watch. Tests are situation based, so its more about application of knowledge, but still easy. Simulation is a bit hard to predict and ended up hurting my grade. Make sure you watch his lectures and take notes, read the study guides, and DON'T fudge the simulation!!!

Brady is super fun and interesting. I took it online. Take notes on lectures and study! The tests are applied questions so they are a little difficult, (I usually got Bs) and they make up most of your grade. The simulation was super easy and interesting if you just follow the directions and watch the instructional videos you will do fine.

Although the material is easy, you really need to understand it for the test because the conceptual questions can be a little challenging. Mike Brady has been my favorite professor so far at FSU. His lectures are easy to follow and he uses relatable examples to make sure you understand the content. He is also very funny and down to earth. You must watch all the lectures and keep up with the stimulation to do well.

If you're planning on taking this, take it with Brady! He knows the subject very well & is an amazing professor. Exams are easy enough watch the video lectures & take notes. However, make sure to understand the concepts through & through in order to get a high grade. The simulation is about $25 & as long as you make smart choices, its an easy A.

His lectures were great and I enjoyed the class. It really isn't too bad. However, I have two big complaints. First, the tests are INCREDIBLY subjective. A couple of times on every test I could see an answer going two ways. Next, the simulation is kinda quirky so definitely watch the videos and or go to your TA.

The tests were multiple choice but can be tricky if you don't know all the info so make sure to pay attention to all the lectures. Book isn't needed.

Brady always had examples in the real world for his topics. He would occasionally bring in guest speakers which wasn't the best but, almost all of his lectures were short and sweet, easy to watch. His exams were always straight from the slides and lectures, as long as you know those inside and out you're golden.

I loved listening to Brady talk about Marketing because he truly loves what he does and he knows what he is talking about. The course consisted of 4 tests the fourth being the final that is not cumulative. I watched all of his lectures online the night before the exams and still did well. He has 2 other assignments that boost your grade.

Easy A-, an A will take a little bit of work. His lectures are interesting, but he makes a lot of small mistakes on details (but these are not testable, they are mostly when he is giving examples of real companies) which bothers me, but most people wouldn't care.

This is by far one of the best courses you can take as far as learning useful material that you will use in the real world of business. I will say, some of his tests were way harder than they needed to be. He does give curves on a couple questions on the really hard exams, but don't depend on them. Dr. Brady himself is an incredible professor.

I took this course Spring 2019 online. The course consists of 4 exams (40 questions MC) and a participation grade (survey). The lectures are interesting however, he makes some questions tricky and the grading scale is intimidating. If you mess up on one exam your done. No extra credit nor do you see the questions you missed. How can you learn??

Dr. Brady is the teacher you always hoped and dreamed for in college. His video lectures are ENJOYABLE. Thank God. He incorporates real-life examples so you never get the thought "when am I ever going to be able to apply this information in real life?" Just make sure you do well on the few graded assignments. Despite being online, his lectures were extremely engaging, as well as brief and clear, telling you what you need to know. The man's lectures are fantastic. Class is 4 exams worth 250 points each and surveys worth 400 points total (Super easy). Literally watch the videos and you will pass (1.25 speed is fine). The down side was the final grade was based on 4 Exams worth 1,000 pts each and 400 pts for Surveys (these are easy). he tests are not a walk in the park - definitely a decent amount of work involved.

If you have to take Mar3023, take Professor Brady! He is by far my favorite professor I've taken. The course is made up of only four grades which are the exams. The exams are not very difficult and if you watch his lectures (which are easy and interesting to watch) and study the powerpoints you'll do just fine.

Dr. Brady is amazing! His lectures are so fun to watch and I'm disappointed that I didn't get to take this class in person. Only problem with this class is that your grade only consists of the exams and surveys, so it's important to do well on the exams. They're really easy though, just pay attention to the lectures and go over ur notes

I think everyone at FSU should take this class even if you're not a business major. It gives an amazing background of marketing and you learn so many cool facts. Best professor at FSU so far I've encountered. There are many terms to learn in this class but he taught it so well where it didn't feel like a lecture but good advices on how to see marketing differently around us. Dr. Brady is by far the best professor I have had so far. He genuinely cares about his students learning the material and honestly really made me want to be a marketing major. Very short lectures, but they still cover all the material and Professor Brady makes it very easy to understand with lots of relevant examples. The class is only graded by 4 exams, but he gives a study guide and all the questions come directly from the notes. The only other grade is research participation, which is very easy.

My favorite professor so far, he makes his lectures so enjoyable to watch even though it's online. You can tell he really enjoys what he teaches and definitely wants his students to enjoy it just as much as he does. Only grades are surveys and tests, but if you watch all the lectures and take light notes then it should be a super easy A.

Mike Brady is a phenomenal teacher. If you're looking to take a marketing class - TAKE HIM. His lectures are interesting and he's so easy to listen to. He clearly understands what he is teaching. Best professor I've had in my entire academic career and probably ever will have. Doesn't curve and only gives exams, but if you stay on top of the material you will get a good grade. I hate going to class which is why I took him online. I wouldnt do any work until the day of the test. I would set aside 3-4 hours to watch the lectures (which were very entertaining) and then take the exam. I never got lower than an A on them. I love him, would definitely take him again.

Failing this class was honestly my fault because this class was genuinely an easy class. The lectures are very dense but pretty funny so you need to watch them a few times & DON'T CRAM THEM BEFORE THE EXAM! You will do bad! Find any Quizlet online and memorize the practice questions. He DOES NOT GIVE EXTRA CREDIT so don't ask!

This class was so enjoyable to go to. Prof. Brady really knows how to engage his students and his audience. He cracked jokes and related to us as college students which made his lectures a joy to go to. It doesn't hurt that the material wasn't that hard as well. Don't cram for tests and you'll do fine. Beware his exams are tricky.

Professor Brady is AMAZING at giving lectures and engaging students in the course material. The class was very easy but exams are honor locked. If you watch the lectures and have a basic knowledge of the material, you will easily get an A.

Brady is a great lecturer that is very knowledgeable about what he is presenting. The class is very test heavy with there being 4 per semester worth 1,000 points each. The tests can be a bit confusing but all of the information needed is in the powerpoint slides and there is also a practice quiz and exam review sheet given out for each exam.

Professor Brady is one of the best professors I have ever had. His lectures are very interesting and the tests aren't too hard as long as you watch the 40 minute zoom review video before hand and skim the powerpoints. Definitely take this class!

Make sure you do the surveys, they are easy. For the test, I would just watch his videos two days before the exams and would pass all of them. This is not a hard class.

4 exams, no homework, one easy project that consists of taking 3 marketing surveys for credit. Take online class over in person, because Brady encourages online kids to come to in person classes whenever they want and in person kids don't get online recorded lectures. Watch lecture videos, copy powerpoints, take practice exams and you'll get an A.

One of the best professors I have had at FSU. Such a respectable guy and gives so many good life lessons throughout the course. I took it in person which i highly recommend since he is super personable with students and makes the lectures super interesting. Class is very test heavy as majority of the grade is the 4 exams which can be difficult.

Hands down, best professor I've had during college. He is truly passionate about FSU and what he's teaching, which makes his lectures 10 times better. Mike Brady lays out the class in an easy, predictable, and digestable manner. 4 sections of the course, 4 exams, and you're done. The lectures are quite engaging, and Mike Brady did a great job keeping me interested. (Tip: Take the practice exams 5-8 times before the exam and you're golden)

This is a great class and professor. Brady is a truly great lecturer, and is extremely engaging for the in-person class. The exams can be difficult, so prepare early. Class is out of 4500 points, four exams worth 1000 points each, SONA survey participation (easy) is 400 points, syllabus quiz is 100 points. I wish more classes were like this one.

This professor got me to change my major to marketing. Truly the best professor i've had at FSU so far and you can tell he genuinely loves what he does. If you watch his lecture vids you'll do well on the exams, and he also makes them very engaging so they are easy to watch.

Great professor. He makes exams so you have to study or watch the lectures but everything is clear in the lectures so as long as you watch them within 2 days prior to the exam you'll do good. Very good grader however you are only graded by 4 exams and surveys (or project you have the choice) so you have to do well. Very easy tho 10/10.

LOVED Mike Brady. His course was genuinely interesting and informative, lectures were engaging, and him and his TA's clearly love what they do. Grade was based on 4 exams and a survey completion grade. Wish there were more assignments, not even just for the extra grades but for extra engagement with the course content.

Mike Brady's class has genuinely been an enjoyable experience. His expectations are clear cut and organized, his lectures (though admittedly lengthy) provide very interesting insights about the marketing industry, and, whilst he is only graded by 4 exams, surveys/presentations, he provides enough resources to make this a non-issue.

Only 4 exams and 1 project (or survey participation). DON'T underestimate the class thinking that you'll be fine without studying. Exam questions are confusing and FAR from the "Practice Questions" that he posts. He's an amazing professor, not boring, and you can see that he puts a lot of effort in his lectures. He usually curves 1-2 questions.

I took this class online and it was the best online setup of any class I've taken. Brady is engaging and very knowledgeable in his field. The tests were reasonable based on the content and how much you studied. Tests are essentially the only grades for the class though, so you have to do really well on all of them.

Professor Brady is one of my favorite professors by far. Through his online lectures you can tell he really enjoys teaching marketing and tries to make it engaging. The entire course is based on four exams so getting a good grade is challenging. However, he provides plenty of study resources and is all around a good guy.

Professor Brady was a very enthusiastic and engaging professor, despite having taken his course online. His online lecture videos were the only online course lecture videos I have enjoyed while being here at FSU. I will say, however, that the course is extremely test heavy but the exams are very fair provided you watch the lecture videos.

Prof Brady is amazing. Great lectures where he uses thought provoking examples so the concepts are ingrained into your head. I waited until the night before the test to watch all the lectures on 2x speed and still got an A on every test. This class is easy but you also learn a lot. 10/10

I would take Professor Brady 100 times if I could. His lectures are so engaging and easy to understand. My class was fully online and I still genuinely enjoyed watching the lecture videos he posted. The entire class is graded off of 4 exams though. But if you just watch the lectures, you can easily pass. 11/10 would recommend!

Studied very hard for this class. Phenomenal professor, but if you want that A it is not easy. I know a lot of people who got A-'s, but striving for that A is a little harder

For an online class Dr. Brady did an amazing job. His lectures are not boring and consist of all the information you need. You do not need to purchase top hat to succeed in this class, but it does provide you with another study tool.

Amazing Professor. 4 Tests; 3 Fill-out Surveys. Only about 5 hours of lectures per exam, not attention required between exams. Exams are insanely straight forward, and he gives curves out. Tests are easy to get 95+ on, a few "trick" questions, but they get thrown out a majority of the time. Lectures are short and enjoyable. Very likeable guy.

Dr. Brady was amazing and gave great lectures. The textbook was not mandatory; however, I found it helpful when studying for exams. The only grades for this class are research participation (all online, very easy) and the four exams. So just be prepared for the exams and you'll do great.

There is a textbook you can get, but I preferred the lectures much more and Prof. Brady does a great job in them, so I'd opt out. Exams are simple if you know the material; I would only start studying about a week before my exam.

Brady truly is a great professor and does a good job leading and lecturing for this exam-heavy class. For each exam, I watched and took notes on the lecture videos (make sure to not cram), reviewed the notes two days before each exam, and passed each exam with a 95%. You get out what you put in.

Watch the lectures, study Quizlets online, and utilize the Zoom reviews. Such a breeze of a class but you definitely have to pay attention to lectures and put some effort in. Michael Brady is a very engaging and nice professor and keeps his lectures interesting. This class is easy to get an adequate grade, but hard to get an A. This is due to most of the class being graded based on your exam scores, so you must do good on all exams. If you do bad on one exam it will be very hard to get an A. Though,he gives extra credit

I was thrown off by how he would dismiss very controversial marketing strategies like surveillance capitalism as "innovation", but otherwise a good class and professor.

I really liked this class! He makes it fun even though they are recorded lectures. Your grade is what you get on the tests. The content it pretty easy and he gives a practice test for each exam. Just study and watch the lectures. They did a one or two question curve on each test also.

Took his class online, there was no homework assignments, the only grading you have are your exams. Exams are not that hard at all, they are mostly based on real life scenarios, which Professor Brady explains in all his lectures. This is honestly what every online class should be like. He gives you all the material up front, and you study it at your own pace and then take the tests, which are not hard at all. Uses a lot of examples to make the concepts easy to understand in his video lectures. It took me an average of 15 minutes for each exam, and I got an A on all of them.

My gf is the one who took his class and filled out the rating. However, I don't even take him and he is one of the most entertaining professors I have EVER witnessed. I loved overhearing his lectures in the background and his little stories. You don't care if you don't get an A. God bless this beautiful man's soul. I wish I was a business major.

BEST TEACHER EVER!! I seriously loved watching his online lectures. Super interesting and engaging. Tests do pull from a huge bank so sometimes the questions are hard. Also lots of random facts on the test. You can tell he is just a great person and really cares for his students. I would take him for every class if I could!

Good professor. Good lectures, the examples that he mentions WILL show up on the exam and not just the general ideas, which companies and people are involved and who did what. Watch the lectures read the textbook a few times before exam and then do the practice quizzes. Should get you an A. also curves exams 1-2 questions every time.
