HE IS A GREAT TEACHER AND YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO A LOT OF WORK TO MAKE AN A IN HIS CLASS. IF YOU FAIL, YOU SHOULD QUIT SCHOOL.

Very nice man-will work with you-class is a breeze-would reccomend to anyone for an easy gradeLearned more under Holder-but he expects much more from students-It rhymes -Campenni is easy.

I've taken both government classes on the internet and they aren't too hard. As long as you read the chapter you will pass the quizzes and if you really put effort into the discussion board you will make an A.

A are not hard to get with this teacher. I've taken the government class on the internet and it is not hard. As long as you read the chapter you will pass the quizzes. you will find always tricky question that will upset you because those answer are very well hidden in every chapter.

Very personable. I took him for Intro to Poli-Sci. Lots of papers to write but he grades easily and his offers to help are sincere -- he builds people up. Discussions in this class were awesome. Not a good course for a slacker -- great class for anyone interested in history, philosophy, poli-sci.

I took him for the govt class during the minimester and I'm so glad that I did. As long as you read the chapter then you will make at least a B on the quizzes. Also, make sure you keep up with the discussion board because that is a big part of your grade. He is very nice and helpful you will love this class.

Great teacher - will work very hard with any student to explain the work. A lot of reading and papers but not too hard.

It's very easy class and he's a super nice man. Gives a few essay questions and my final was comprehensive. I had a 3 hr. class with him and he taught the entire time so it can get a little boring, but other than that it's an easy A... or B.

I took this class online. As long as you do the quizzes (1 per week) and the Discussion Boards you'll do fine. He will answer any questions you have and help you out if you don't get it.

Campenni is awesome! I had 0 interest in the subject prior to the class, and now it's one of my favorites. He keeps the lectures entertaining, and even provides the actual tests for study (minus the actual multiple choice answers, they can be tricky). Definitely recommended

Mr. Campenni is an excellent professor. I am nearing the end of his internet class for Texas Government and will miss this class. He's crystal clear about assignments and the internet layout of blackboard. He makes you learn and is strict but he's personable and understands what it's like to be a student. Very nice and excellent teacher!

Awesome professor. I took Campenni online for Tex Gov. He really puts in a lot of time preparing outlines for the chapters. He gives 3 extra credit opertunities and allows you to make up 3 quizes that you did poorly. Overall, he really wants you to do well in his class. Advice: IF YOU TAKE HIM ONLINE, DON'T BUY THE BOOK! He covers everything online

Mr.Campenni, he is fairly nice! He is very understand when unexpected things happen...he is reasonable w/ the grading! He's class is very easy and very interesting. However, you will need to put effort if you want to make a good grade! I took him online and hes communications is great, he's also very helpful to his students.

I took his class online, he was super helpful!!! I even missed a test and he allowed me to make it up with no problem. If your going to take government take him, he makes the discussion boards really interesting.

Mr. C wants everyone to succeed and will be available to help when needed. He also gives extra credit.

Great instructor. Took on-line class and had a good time studying the material. He e-mails you early in the class to make sure you are doing OK. You can tell he wants to bring out the best in his students. I would highly recommend him to anyone taking Texas Government at MCC.

Mr. Campenni was great and very helpfull. I took his online class and he was always checking in and keeping you connected. His weekly schedule was great you knew what to expect and when to expect it. Loved this class.

Fantastic professor. By far the most accomodating and understanding professor I've had at MCC. His quizzes are challenging, but will give you an opportunity to retake them near the end of semester. Discussion boards are important, so post early and often when they open. There's no reason not to do well in his class. Take him before he retires!

By far one of the best teachers I have ever had. Being a non traditional student he is very helpful in accommodating me. Highly, highly recommend.

Good teacher. Took him online for the National Gov as a mini and online Texas Gov in the fall. Discussion boards are heavy during fall, (none in the mini) and the Texas Gov book is uber predigest against whites but other that it was a easy A.

Very good teacher for online class. Eager to help his students do well and make good grades. Fast communication compared to most online teachers.

Took online for Texas GOVT, was not interested at all, I hate politics & I'm not from here but I got a good grade. He is helpful & very quick to respond. He is definitely the most active professor I have had as he keeps communication open. Do your work & communicate, he wants you to succeed!

Best prof. ever. If you don't do your homework he contacts you cause he wants his students to be successful. He cares about you putting in a good effort & wants you to get a good grade. Its college, you should complete your assignments & care. At least he cares about his students. If you complain bout this prof perhaps you shouldn't be in school!

Almost annoying how much he watches over you. Felt like he was babysitting, which I don't need or want. For online class, don't buy the book (Waste of $90) because you can get all info from book website. Lets you retake quizzes at end of semester. Do more than minimum on discussions and you'll get a fairly easy A.

The professor was very interested to help if interest was given. firm but great.

Took online in 5 week summer semester. Individual deadlines spread out through the week rather than several chapters due on one day, ie 11:59pm Sunday, was very annoying, almost like he is micro-managing. Doesn't respond to emails on weekends. Fairly easy grader on essay. DB's are critical to passing, do more than minimum required.

I took this class online during the summer. Super easy. VERY helpful. The class is structured to where it's not stressful to take another class along with it. Simple requirements. Just do the work and participate in the discussion board and you will do great!

GREAT teacher. Assignments are clear, read the book, take the tests, PARTICIPATE in the DB and you will get a great grade. Very helpful and involved with his students. Loved his class!

Very easy class. Only 4 grades in the class. Those are two online tests (mid term and final) and two essays you email to him (he grades them VERY easily). Easy easy class and I hate this subject. Would recommend him to anyone and would take him again.

I was not interested in taking this class because I though it was going to be very hard but this teacher made everything so clear and stress free I was able to come out with a great grade. I highly recommend him.

Very nice and helpful! 13 chapter quizzes, semester paper, and a final. He's wiling to help. I was locked out of a quiz because it did not submit right and he let me retake it.He sends a lot of emails though and expects you to reply but that isn't too hard.

love this professor, helpful, nice, and wants you to pass! I didn't use the book much. Class is made up of easy 10 question quizzes and a few DB/essays.

Professor Campenni is so nice and helpful! He truly wants his students to do well and works with you throughout the semester. As long as you do your quizzes and discussion boards you will do good! Just know that there are two week-long discussion boards that he really wants you to participate a LOT in! I definitely recommend this professor!

Took for both 2305 and 2306 online at once. Had two discussion boards that you must post 10 to 15 daily, no excuses to get a passing grade. Easy 10 question quizzes for each chapter, essays, and final. Give a bonus essay too. Class is super simple and easy to make an A. Just read and participate!

I took him for 2 different class w/ both online. You want an online professor with clear cut, easy quizzes? TAKE HIM! Reading is really essential to the class, and should take too long to do. He is very helpful, and was there for me during a tough family problem. There is no excuse not to pass his class. He is always trying to help you! I promise!

Professor Campenni was great, no doubts about expectations. All online work was clear, organized and straightforward. Very fast at responding to emails and even checked with everyone periodically to make sure everything was going well.

I took Texas Government online in Fall 2015. There is 12 chapters to read, and a timed quiz to go with each chapter. There is also 2 major essays, and 3 discussion boards that you must participate in. If you have a question or trouble understanding the material just email teacher and he is quick to help, and will give extensions on due dates.

MCC needs more teacher's like him, he actually cares about what he is teaching he tries his best to help you succeed. He is a good instructor he helps you understand if you don't know. He has videos, and gives extra credit but you have to read in order to do well on quizzes and tests. I took him online and would recommend anyone take him.

Instructor is very caring. He really wants you to succeed in his class. I took him for a summer semester. A quiz over ever chapter. You must read in order to do well on the quizzes. One major discussion board that you must participate heavily in and then a final.

For the love of education, please take this professor. The textbook was not really need for the online summer class however. He is the bomb.

(online) He's caring and understanding with students. You need to read one chapter/week and take a 10 question quiz. 2 DB's through the semester(each 1 lasts a week). If you participate daily on the DB you will get an A. Some quizzes marked right the wrong answer, but he will give you credit if you email him. Lots of EC, and low work load weekly.

Great Professor, highly recommend for all your Government classes. Gives great feedback, and sends a good weekend email every week. Awesome guy!

Prof. Campenni lays out the requirements and his expectations very clearly. Easy A if you attend class and all tests are online. He is a library of knowledge on the subject. If you can't make an A in this class then you tried really hard not to. He gives lots of ways to make an A.

I took GOVT_2305 online and I had a great experience. I did take a summer class so it was crammed with quizzes but wasn't difficult if you actually read the textbook chapters and try to stay ahead. I highly recommend his classes.

Best Instructor, taking online right now I love the fact that you can work ahead, there is a lot of us in this class that are finished with the class just have 1 paper to write and 2 db's and final exam.

Such a nice guy! His online classes are a great way to take government. He makes the class easy and enjoyable and is always available to help. Also offers many opportunities for make up grades and extra credit.

There were only three assignments for my class and if you do the extra credit (which has no point limit) you could pass the class without doing the other assignments. Its a pretty good class however the midterm and final are horrible. They are 100 questions long and you only have 2hrs online to do it.

A very nice instructor how can you not take him, he wants to help you pass the class, I took him online for gov 1&2 didn't use the book, quiz every week just like any other online class, and only 2 discussion board an 1 essay to write, now how hard is that. He is the best, I would take anytime, I wish he would do history also.

Mike is awesome. He's the kind of instructor that makes you want to impress him. He checks on you constantly and responds quickly to emails. He works with you if something comes up. The two DB's are intense ( I made the required posts and got an A) Take the class, do the work and you'll get an A. You wont regret it. Mike is a solid choice.

I took him for previous GOVT as well and made an A. He is always available if needed and quick to respond. You do have a couple discussion boards and an essay to write during the class but if help is needed you can ask him.

I took Federal Government in Summer 1 with Mike and I only have positive things to say. He is always there to help and always remind his students that they can do it and he is here for us. As long as you read and have great time management, you will pass the class. We only had 4 assignments in total (100 points each), which was great!

Professor Campenni cares about his students and carries conversations with them to show that. He provides excellent feedback on the essays you have to write no matter how many time you write them and turn them in. He can be a little lecture heavy and you will be taking lots of notes in his class. Overall he"s awesome. 100% recommend!

Campenni was a great professor! Emailed us often to check in and even offers to help with the assigned essay. Weekly assignments were easy 100s. Weekly quizzes, a one-week-long discussion board and one essay. Not a hard class, do the work and you'll be fine.

Really helpful and caring professor. Inspires me to actually want to learn the topic, instead of just wanting a good grade. The DB's are pretty interesting, and not something I've had similarly in another class. Mike is just one of my favorite professors, I have no regrets about taking his class.

Absolutely wonderful professor. Is very engaging in class and out of class, makes himself very accessiable after class for questions comments or concerns. doesnt grade harshly but will want you to know the material.

I definitely recommend this professor. He lectures every class and has quizzes due almost every week but they're all pretty easy if you use the sources he provides. He had us write two essays and they're opinion based so it's not hard at all. They were pretty specific topics but broad enough to find a lot of information on points you want to make.

Really good government professor. The DB's were pretty unique and I feel gave me a really good grasp of the topic he chose. Super kind and helpful, with good essay critiques, and a kind grader. I'd have no hesitation about taking this professor again.

He truly just wants you to pass the class. He constantly mentions his office hours, If anyone needs tutoring and simply just going over the course work. He cares about the well being of his students and just wants them being up front with him. He appreciates communication.
