He's a great teacher. My class isn't over yet, and I'm only taking it as a summer class, but the tests are not hard at all, and he tells you what to study. Very informative, and I love psych, so this is a great class!

Professor Colbert is a great teacher. He knows and cares a lot about what he teaches and it shows. He's also very nice and interesting. Tests are always multiple choice, but they are applied questions which is great because you actually have to think about what you're learning. Be sure to take concise notes, and you should do well.

this professor know his stuff from this class. If you were struggling in the class, he'll help you. the exams are a little hard. But you have to be ready to take them. Extra credit and the paper are helpful as well to improve your grade. He is an amazing professor that we ever had in CCC. I would recommded to everyone take him everyone.

I love this class. I don't mind wasking up at 7 am for his 8 am class. He does all his notes on powerpoint or an overhead (sometimes the chalkboard). This class is easy, only because Professor Colbert makes sure everyone understands all the material, and he used repetition, which helps the information stick. He's an outstanding professor!

Now this is teaching! Simply one of the best educators I have ever had. A patient, kind, and understanding teacher -- just a great person! I took his class online in the summer. He really cares about his students and was always willing to help. The exams were timed 20 min for 20 questions. I thought we should have had a little longer to answer the questions! Great Guy though!!!!

Prof Colbert is really awesome. He REALLY knows his psychology stuff. His tests are semi-hard. Pretty much 100% of the test is applied examples that you have to think about, not just definitions. If you understand and can think of examples (and don't just know the definitions of the words) you'll do well. He rarely takes attendance. HE'S GREAT.

His class isn't easy especially compared to other professors on campus but you do learn and he is a fair guy. I think he's a great professor and seems like he really cares about students.

You need to take good notes and STUDY! Examples used in class are often exam questions, but the applied question format can be tricky! There is extra credit offered & he is willing to hold study groups. Great class, but a bit difficult!

After deciding to return to school last summer, i signed up for basic psych last summer. Prof Colbert really made my concerns and doubts about my decision to return to school melt away. He made class really fun and I learned a lot. If you want a supportive, ego less professor, take his classes.

Tests are open book usually and not to difficult if you actually study what he tells you to. Only thing I dislike are the learnnet modules there annoying and shouldn't be mandatory. AWESOME! If you're not good at psych it will still be easy. If you love psych like me you will be inspired. He loves what he does and really works many aspects of his psych degree. One word: Outstanding. He does Power Points, Learn Smart, and has office hours for discussion. Hands-down if you are taking PSY101 then take him and thank me later. His tests are not hard provided you study as w/ every course and do the Learn Smart flash cards. Easy A-B class.

Professer Colbert is probably one of the best teachers you will ever have. If you need a psych course for your degree, try to get in his. He is incredibly helpful, always explains exactly what he means, accepts almost all questions, knows the subject well, and makes the class easy and enjoyable with relevant anecdotes.

awesome professor. refuses to move on until everyone is on the same page. this was hybrid so most work was done online. three in class exams, otherwise class is just discussion. exam and learn smart for each chapter, but if you read, its nothing! everything is open book. EVERYTHING.

What an awesome teacher! Made a class I was not looking forward to taking, into my favorite class that current semester. Definitely who I would recommend taking. He explains everything you need to know with amazing examples. There is no way failing should occur with his teachings.

I loved this professor! Very easy class, does require studying. We did not have a final, just a test filled with the last three chapters we did. Basic Psychology is a class there is NO WAY you can fail, especially with this teacher. Very easy, clear, and helpful! Definitely would recommend taking his class.

I just completed Dr.C class. My final grade was an A. Was very impress w/his teaching technique. He is very thorough & down 2earth. Very considerate 2your situation &extremely helpful. He reviews before exams & lets you know by way of study guide what will be covered on the exam. The load was a little heavy, but then it is summer. Of course, HOT!!!

Mr. Colbert is an amazing professor. I had him my first semester for basic psychology. You can actually learn with how he teaches and he cares about his students. He gives you an outline for every test and even gives you the chance to stay after and go into depth with the study guide. I have requested him for every psychology class I've had.

He is progressive. Most professor's are stuck in the time before they taught. This is due to the repetitive nature of teaching. Take his class, he is awesome and revelant!!!!

Great guy. He's very thorough in his lectures, talks about current events relating to his class, and is just generally pleasant. He prepares you very far in advance for his exams and gives lists of each topic that will be covered. I'd take him again in a heartbeat.

This guy is awesome. His class is really fun and he's very easy on the eyes. Dr. Colbert makes a dull topic interesting. He uses many real life examples to illustrate practical applications of psychology to everyday life. Exams are a nice balance of easy and hard questions. A few short media summaries and you're set. Easy, fair, interesting

I had Dr. Colbert for a hybrid class. Great guy, really helpful. It's a simple class, show up, do the homework, and the few projects, study for the tests. Myself I struggled on two of the tests.

Dr Colbert is amazing! The lectures are super interesting! The examples that he gives help to understand the material of the textbook! I enjoyed every lecture. It was my second course with Dr C. I would definetely take another class with him! Highly recommend!

Dr. Colbert is not only a fantastic teacher, but he is a great guy. He made me realize what I want to do in life, because he actually cared. If you respect him, and put in effort to his class, it will be a great experience. The material is interesting to me, but if you aren't into psychology, he will make the class a little more enjoyable for you

Test were open book and there is barely any homework only virtual child. He is easy if you are bad at psychology

It was an online class and the instructions and timeline was very clear which left no reason to need help but he was available on the forum and graded assignments quickly so I gave him a 4 for helpfulness figuring he would have helped if asked.

Took this class online as a prerequisite for PSY109. The layout of the class was accommodating to my schedule and the expectations and timeline are very clear. Professor Colbert is quick to respond to emails if you have questions and was very reasonable with adjusting any glitches that arose. Great class!

Took Developmental Psych online. Great class. Tests are based on chapters in book. Writing assignments are fairly easy. Professor gets back to you quickly via email. Would take this professor again.

Hands down my favorite teacher. Everything was clear in class especially what would be on the tests. As long as you did your work and made a concerted effort he would do anything to work with you. I had him at 8am and never wanted to show up but I aced the tests and papers.

Dr. C is literally the best. there's no other way to put it! He's so nice, AND is a great professor. I had him for developmental psychology. I have had Professor Colbert for two classes and he is by far my favorite professor. He gives great lectures, his classes are interesting, and he is very quick to respond to emails. He is a very fair grader and you can always count on him when you need help. I heavily suggest him as a professor.

Dr. C is a great professor who really cares about his students. 3 tests total (open notes) in class and the rest is online. 3 (500 word) papers, homework, and extra credit; he will let you rework everything until you get a 100 :) Tests are simple as long as you pay attention in class, quizzes are one per chapter and online. Avail. for help anytime!

Professor Colbert was a great teacher. I took the hybrid class, his teaching skills are very clear And easy to understand, I would definitely take his class again. And if you make any minor mistakes he will likely let you correct your mistakes in order for you to achieve a better grade.

He was a great professor, super clear on what he wants from you and the assignments aren't hard but are time consuming. I took his class for online developmental pysch, his lectures were only 50 mins. so if you like a professor who lectures I don't recommend, otherwise I really enjoyed his class and everything that we learned.

Every college has one, that professor that is loved by everyone and inspires you making you want to be like them and take them again! Prof Colbert is the Man! He is a genune guy, literally has is office door open if you need to talk about ANYTHING (seriously). If you dont get at least a B college is prob not for you.

PSY101 Online, specific teacher does not want you to use the textbook during the exams. The exaams are only 25 minutes long and you will not have time to go through the textbook to find the answers. Good luck with looking on GOOGLE/Quizlet/CourseHero; none of his questions are on there."Webstudy's Closed Browser" Program is used while taking exams!

Dr. Colbert is an amazing professor and person! I took for developmental psychology and it was by far the best class I have ever taken in college! Dr. Colbert truly cares about his students, he is passionate and he will fight for you! Dr. Colbert is the guy you want for all your psych classes!

Great Professor would recommend him for taking any psych course. However if the hybrid is taken the online quizzes are a little tough just have to make sure you read the chapters and take notes.

I took an online course with this professor so not much face to face experience but if you take an online course be prepared to read every single night sometimes up to thirty textbook length pages. Exams weren't too difficult and grading was almost immediate.

I did mine online. Of course there's lots of reading, and this instructor used the McGraw Hill Connect. Clear cut grading system, and the writing assignments were relevant.

This class probably could have been finished in less then a month, but was expanded the length of 15 weeks. We moved painfully slow through the chapters of the book, and if you missed a day it didn't matter B/c he spent 20 min in the next class recapping everything. Easy A.

Prof. Cobert is one of the best professors at CCC. I took developmental psych hybrid so unfortionally i didnt have more class time with him since we only met once a week for 50mins. He gives study guides and lets you use them for part of the test as well. The work load wasnt bad at all. Hes always willing to help you with your assignments.

Besides my class being a hybrid (which I didn't care for), professor Colbert was awesome! He had great real life examples to help remember the matter. He gives a study guide for each in class exam and is easily accessible via email outside of class hours. I wish there were more classes I needed for my major in the Psych dept that he taught.

I took Dr. Colbert for a hybrid Developmental Psych class , and he is by far one of my favorite professors yet! He provides his students with everything they need to do well, and makes it fun in the process. Definitely take him, especially if you're not a psychology major, and just need the class for credit. Prof. Colbert gives you everything you need to succeed in Child Psych. Grade consists of 3 exams, 1 project, and 4 discussion. Notes can be used during exam. As long as you pay attention and show some interest you will be absolutely fine. Would take again.

Dr. Colbert is great! He's funny, smart, understanding, willing to help, and tells lots of story of past experience, . I was in his honors class and there was a bit of work, but its easy and straightforward. I loved the class and I am taking his child development class next semester. His lectures and power points are all you really need!

I've taken Colbert for child psy and dev psy-both times class was the same format. Easy grader, very helpful, answers emails quickly. gives a study guide for tests and follows it almost exactly-very clear about what he will be testing on. GIVES TONS OF EXTRA CREDIT OPPORTUNITIES. overall, class is easy on the ear, informative and extremely fair.

Hybrid course. You get what you put in. I read and studied every single day (about 8-10 hours a day). The assignments are fairly easy, the tests are somewhat difficult but again if you actually read and take notes you should be fine. Some of the questions are directly from the textbook so i would highly recommended purchasing the book.

Dr. Colbert is VERY approachable cares about his students and wants them to do well. Took this hybrid. 3 easy projects. Study guide for in house exams exactly what's on test. Weekly quizzes online from the book MUST read chapters to do well. In house exams much easier than weekly quizzes. Can't go wrong taking this class. Do your work and pass!!!

Dr. C is the head of the Psychology department at CCC. He is a great Professor with a sense of humor. He makes it nearly impossible to fail his class. If you want to pass his class, put in the time and effort. He gives endless opportunities for extra credit from psi beta to his breakfast with dad campaign.

Best professor I've ever had. I took the winter intersession accelerated class. I learned more about Psychology in 6 days with Prof Colbert than I did in 180 days of AP Psych in high school. He related everything to real-world situations so we could better understand. He's an amazing professor and I would HIGHLY recommend him.

I took his basic psych and dev. psych class online in the summer. It was very straight forward and well organized. Take this class and professor! He is very easy to get a hold of and I learned a lot even being online. Wish exams were more then 25 min for 25 questions but if you read the chapters, do the assignments and then do exams you're good!

I took his developmental psychology, and it was one of my best online class experiences so far. It was interactive and easy in as much as students studies well. He is very understanding too. I will recommend him over and over again.

I recently took his online summer basic psychology class but I had also taken his hybrid developmental psychology class a few semesters back. Professor Colbert is one of the best teachers I ever had at CCC. He is very nice and super easy to get in touch with outside of class.

I took the Psychology101 Hybrid Course and it was fairly easy if you read the chapter and listened in class. You have about 12 chapters and at the end of every chapter you do connect and you take an online quiz at home that has 25 questions with 25 minutes and there are also 2 or 3 writing assignments. He drops your lowest quiz grade.

Prof Colbert is the BEST!!! I took this class as a hybrid and I wish I had him full time!!! Super easy!!! Very knowledgeable. Makes the class extremely interesting. Offers extra credit towards the end of the semester. Definitely the best professor (especially for a letter of recommendation for transfer students).

Professor C is one of the best professor's i had at Camden County College. He works with the students during class and out of class. He gives you a decent amount of time to do the chapter assignments which is the best if you work. I highly recommend Professor C if you plan on being in the science field.

Great professor. Super easy. Took his psych hybrid class which met one day a week. In my opinion his lectures dont reflect the tests because the tests are a reflection of the textbook. You can have the textbook open while taking tests which make it impossible to fail! Would not recommend to non-tech savy students.

But I felt like even though I didn't attend an actual classroom, Professor Colbert was right there every step of they. If you just follow the assignments given you will pass. He was very organized from start to finish.

Great teacher, with a clear cut agenda. Prepare to read a lot, however, if you do you will pass the class with no problem.

He does give a lot extra credit. You have to listen to his lecture because he provided a lot example. Take good notes and study you will get good grade. Highly recommended

The class only met once a week for 50 minutes, everything was posted online, he had 3 sections during the semester and each section consisted of, reading, a project and taking 4 online exams (easy). although, he does give you an in-class exam at the end of each section. He does give you a cheat sheet to help but I found that it didn't help.

I took this class over winter break and was pleasantly surprised with how easy the class was. Professor Colbert does a good job of being accessible to students outside of class and is very understanding. He is a great guy and clearly wanted to see his students succeed.

He is the best. I took him for Basic Psych and Developmental Psych. I decided to take the hybrid class. As long as you do the assignments needed and show up to class, you can get an A if you do well on the quizzes. He also offers a lot extra throughout the course. I would recommend anyone to take his class.

Prof Colbert is a really excellent professor. He goes through each topic throughly to make sure his students are truly comprehending what he is teaching. Really easy guy to talk to. However, there are not many grades in this class so students need to make sure to turn in everything on time. He takes no late work.

Easiest class you will ever take as long as you do the work. Professor knows what he is talking about and makes it super easy to pass and get an easy A. Never had to stress about this class!

I enjoyed taking this online class with Dr. Colbert. It was a 6 week summer course so it was a lot. If you read the chapters, do the practice questions, and do the chapter exams, you will be good. Highly recommend and if he teaches other psych courses that I have to take, I will be sure to take him !

Online class for Psy 101 Spring 2020 Semester, Dr.c was cool, and the class wasn't hard. Just read the chapters, do the homework assignments along with the chapter, some writing and 3 quizzes, NO FINAL. Move at your own pace and it was an easy A.

Prof Colbert is a good, interactive instructor. I took his Abnormal Psychology online class PSY 104. He allowed a second try at each exam. His case studies gave understanding to the material. The e textbook quizzes helped make the content stick. I saw each grade right after an assignment was completed. This class is easy if you do the work.

Professor Colbert is one of the most caring professors I have ever had. His lectures keep you interested and are interactive. His tests come straight from the lectures. An easy 'A' and you learn a lot.

I only had to take an online-class. Zoom and attendance were optional. Easy assignments (learn multiple chapters every 2 weeks).

He is an excellent teacher with great communicative skills. He always make the class interesting and i all possible ways makes sure that all of his students understand the concept. Grades are least mattering to him, his concenrs are that he gives best of the knowledge to his students

He is very motivational send you reminders for your due assignments. If you missed an assignment he will give you a second chance he reach out to you finding out if you understand the topic.

Very nice, caring professor and gives good feedback on the 2 papers he assigns for the entire semester. The rest is almost fun computer work and reading. You might learn something about yourself and others around you if you actually read. Does not get more interesting than learning about how your brain works. Thought provoking essays

Dr. Colbert is am amazing professor and person. Personally, I really liked his teaching style. I highly recommend.

Easy navigation, will extend deadlines, will give you what he wants in his exam, limited submission, lends help whenever needed, do small stuff and get extra credit like show up to a wrestling match and say hi, you might get extra credit, join any club and let him know. Great responsiveness, no suprises in class. Hard for me but i cracked it.

Great fun class I enjoyed going to, shared some weird opinions on vaccines besides that amazing class.

was a great LECTURE-BASED hybrid class. explained everything in detail, gave "announcements" regularly, checked + answered emails continuously. helped resolve some issues i was having with a very hectic semester. really nice, understanding, open-minded prof. loves asking students for opinions too !!!!

This class is my semester favorite, while my other classes are annoying. It's relaxed, easy to understand, with many extra credit opportunities and test points. Highly recommend!

If you are going to take this class online you need to have GREAT time management. There is a lot of work so be prepared to read. The professor was very helpful with my questions. He gave me the support that I needed as a student that decided to go back to school at a later age. I really wished I took this class in person.

Dr. Colbert is an amazing professor and you learn a lot in his classes. He is highly educated and did I mention very HOT! So, not only is his class engaging you also get to look at some eye candy too, that's a win-win for me. I loved his basic psych class so much that I will be taking the other courses he lectures.

Professor Colbert is great - he makes learning fun and is very clear on his expectations. For study prep, I found Unstuck AI and the textbook super helpful alongside the lectures. Definitely take this class if you can!

Good amount of reading, but the material was fascinating and well-organized. Be sure to schedule time to read and complete assignments by the due dates. Professor Colbert was timely in responding to questions and provided helpful context. Would certainly recommend the class!

He is so caring and looks out for his students, he's cool and he's very fair. Easy material and just a lot of reading but pretty good for a college class.
