I really dont care for math, however 80 is pretty much the same as 60. I had a 74.4 going into the final, I aced the final and got an 80 percent in the class. Everett is good, but dont take the accelerated class like I did, you move way too fast. Everetts good tho I would take him for stats if he was going to teach it.

I went through a lot of teachers and he was the best. He is very helpful..do ALL of your homework and you will do fine on the test. The test and quiz's get hard, but it only makes the final that much easier.You need to put in extra time for math and he stays to help anyone that needs it.

This was the best math teacher I've ever had! Before him I would fail most of my math classes. I took both Math 060 and 081 with him. I have to say that he is very helpful. If you don't get something he will make sure that you do with funny/creative examples. Just do the homework and you'll be fine. I think the quizzes where ok, but that's my opini

Everett is a good teacher. He loves to help students and really cares about them. His lectures are funny and he tells stories that make you remember the math.I didn't do great on my exams, but still ended up with a B because I participated, did homework, and did extra credit work. He is very strict about students being on time, so don't be late!

Once I started online statistics I thought I wasn't going to pass the class. If you need help all you have to do is ask and he loves helping his students. He shows you easier techniques. I went from a low C to a B. You have to work for your grade, especially since it was an online class but it was worth it. I recommend this Professor to anyone.

WOW great Professor if you want to be ready for Stats and really have a clear understanding of material in a 6 unit course this is the professor. A true scholar , always has time for his students. A must take, I took the other instructor for Math 160, but Mr. Everett is awesome! I too live outside of California and following Mr. Everett's guidelines and working with my proctor all worked with ease. I found all of the questions on the final exam were on his weekly quizzes.

I'm past halfway through this semester so far and I'm loving his math 150 class. He truly cares about his students and responds to the discussion posts to make sure there is no confusion. I knew a little calc and so I was still worried of being confused, but he's been great so far!

Turn in homework every week, we have a project to do, but it is not hard. It helps us understand the concept of teaching in elementary. Very fast in answering question. His class is not boring.

I took his course online. Homework and tests were not through MyLab. That was a massive plus to me. The material was free, and better quality than Pearson. He was very responsive via email. In a good way, there was nothing particularly memorable about the course. I learned trig, the end. I would take this course again.

He has an organized Canvas page that's easy to navigate. I like the software he used to give our homework problems on (MyOpenMath), and there's a nice late policy for assignments. He provides video links, the textbook is free, and homework can be done as many times as you'd like so the content can be learned via whatever style is preferred.

This class was intense, probably the most difficult class I have taken. But professor Mike Everett teaches even the hardest concepts in a way that you can understand. If you attend the lecture, do the homework and ask when you need help his class is manageable. The test isn't easy in any way, but you do know what to expect.

Best math class I have ever taken. There is no book to buy. No access code is needed for the homework. He provided plenty of videos to help and when I asked for additional videos he provided helpful ones. He gives points for the participation and the discussion board.

This class was easy enough but the midterm/final count as the majority of your grade and uses Proctorio. Gives 20 late passes for homework/quizzes. It's mainly learning by yourself through Youtube videos and MyOpenMath. Just make sure to study enough for the midterm and final.

Took his summer course. Honestly, you can't really go wrong if you're consistent, do all the assigned hw, and the review sheets especially. Didn't interact with him much; he seemed kind of impersonal but replied quickly and will definitely help if asked. I don't think I'd take him again but I'm glad I took him for just Calculus I.

This class is asynchronous. If you are looking for a class that has just the right videos for you to watch at your own pace, this is the course. The professor's reviews are really helpful in preparing for the exams. He provides the answers to the reviews so you are well prepared. I will be taking Math 280 with Professor Everett in the spring.

The class is fully self taught, and I mostly used youtube, as the videos he provided were only helpful for specific examples, not concepts. However, the quizzes and tests and very easy and straightforward. For a calc 2 class, this class is very doable and I never spent more than 4 hours a week on this class.

Getting a B is definitely managable, but it's hard to earn an A in his class. Exams and quizzes make up almost ALL your grade. No curve, no make-up exams, although if you get a close answer on let's say an exam, he gives you partial credit.
