Mr. Lueke is cool teacher he can be an ass at times but overall he is a GREAT teacher I love the way he teach I hate that he yells at the students and get frustrated if we don't understand the work but he was pretty cool and I will recommend him to anyone...

Mike was a passionate teacher, dedicated to making sure that his students truly understand the material he is teaching. He took a subject that I was terrified of, and gave me the tools, and the confidence to complete the course. He is an excellent teacher, and any student would be lucky to have him!

Mike is an excellent Calculus instructor. His mastery of the difficult material and enthusiasm with which he presents it make learning much easier. The tests are difficult but this is necessary as he strives to ensure each student understands underlying concepts. Mike also grades fairly, allowing extra-credit opportunities. Highly recommended!

Mike expects you to work hard for your grade but makes it clear in words and action that he is 110% available to support you. He strives to help his students understand the concepts, not just memorize and plug things in. I've never had a professor make themselves more available to help. Don't leave a test question blank- he gives partial credit!

Took the accelerated 8 wk course(16 wks packed into half the time). You will earn your grade, but you won't struggle alone. Prof. Mike will do what he can to help you understand the material, but he can't do the work for you. He clearly cares about helping his students and is very responsive to emails. if you show up to class and do homework and activities on time, the average grade is in the high eighties. the only reason why you would do poorly in elementary algebra is if you don't show up and don't do the work. there are many extra credit quizzes that can bring your grade up five percent if you get 100% on all of them.

I took this class online. Dr. lueke was always available to answer questions. He would meet even late in the evening on blackboard if needed. At the end of the semester I had family issues come up and he worked with me to complete the course. If I wasn't going to graduate next semester I would take another class he teaches.

Everything that was on the exam I saw either in the discussion board, homework, or activities. So when you study for the test, make sure to look at those. Also, follow his homework schedule, it will help you get prepared for the exam. Overall, he is a good professor. Always asks if you need any help. Gives lots of extra credit.

This course structured in a nice fashion. If the assignments are taken seriously then exams wouldn't be difficult. There are discussion forums where one can post questions and get help,hints etc.

There is a lot of homework, but you should make sure to get it all done. Lots of the test problems come straight from the homework. I also recommend going for office hours/tutoring if needed.

I took a 6 week hybrid online course offered in the summer. It was a very intense course. If you kept up with the reading (which encompasses maybe 1-2 hours per night), and did practice problems, you sailed to an A. My only real complaint is that the class relied heavily on exams (70% of total grade). I wish a little more weight was given to HW.

It was a very challenging course and taking it online added another piece that many found challenging (including myself), but Dr. Lueke provided a lot of varied resources for all kinds of learning types to work with.

It was not easy however, with the help of an awesome Professor like Dr. Lueke, I was able to succeed. I really like that he responds back quick to emails. The course is Calculus, if you expect easy, you should rethink. Dr Lueke takes all the time needed to explain concepts when you have questions. It is very possible to get an A in the class as the tests directly reflect the assignments.

DO NOT let info slip through the cracks. This instructor is very open to being of assistance in explaining concepts, but expects you to know the stuff and DEVELOP YOUR OWN IDEAS. Make the info your own, ask him how. Ask any little question that pops up. He is assertive, and encountered many types of students.

I took Mr. Lueke over this fall for Quantitative Reasoning. This class is pretty difficult and it's not about just solving math problems, its about finding the problem to solve. This professor is a really good teacher for this class because he makes it easier to understand and he is very caring. I will be taking him again for Statistics.

I have always been horrible with math. I was so scared of taking any math classes when I started the semester. Mr. Lueke help me so much when he seen me get to an area that I didn't understand. The class was very straightforward. There were really no surprises on the exams. As long as you do the homework you'll be fine.

I took Dr. Lueke for MA 230 as the 6-week summer online course. He is an amazing professor as he is very helpful and accessible. If you want an A all you have to do is do all the homework and ask him any questions when you don't understand something. It is quite a bit of work as its a 6-week course only but very manageable.

Took Dr. Lueke's online stat class. I marked that a textbook is required but it's actually a MyLabs subscription in which you complete modules (HW assignments) in place of a lecture. Responsive, provides a recommended schedule for this course & due dates for this and exams/other assignments. As long as you keep up on the assignments you will do OK.

Yes, this class is "Youtube University." No, that's not a bad thing at ALL. Why reinvent the wheel when great resources already exist? Professor Lueke was a great Calc 1 teacher. There were a few areas where things could have been explained a little clearer (def. of a limit, for example) but overall it was a good course. There are LOTS of extra credit options, and he will answer questions during tests which is great. Only downside is that he doesn't give study guides for anything.

I took this as an 8-week online class during the summer. While there were a lot of assignments, it was less than I expected. He is VERY accessible via email. There are several opportunities for extra credit that don't require much extra work. While the content can be tough at times, I couldn't have asked for a better professor and class structure.
