He was very interesting, and if u asked him a question that he did not know he would go and find the answer. His lecture was mostly from the book information and some videos he showed in class. Super fun class! Only 1 paper on a selection of movies, you choose which one u want, and 4 exams.

Nice guy overall, but the class was awful. Info was all on power points so you don't need the book. He spoke straight from the power points and the tests were multiple choice but extremely half of it had nothing to do with the notes. He took attendance half the time and lowered your grade if you didn't come. Only good thing is he offers e.c.

Mike is a decent teacher. A lot of info to study, but it is all on the powerpoints he reviews in class and they are posted on Blackboard, too. He uses an iClicker for attendance and participation, which adds up to a free 100% exam grade. 4 exams including the final, non-cumulative. Fairly easy if you study the powerpoints. Take this class.

Also he doesn't space out his assignments well at all.

Human sexual behavior should be an interesting topic however Dr. McCall makes it very boring. His voice is very monotonous and it is unclear where you can find the information off his exams... He assigns a Connect assignment before each exam to help you study. Exams are multiple choice. No need to buy the physical textbook, just buy the online one.

McCall is a great professor and his lectures can feel like they go on forever but he adds videos and interactive things to keep it interesting. The only time you have work due is homework from the online book and then at the time of the midterm and the final. Pretty easy class but you wont know your grade in it the entire semester, only downfall!

This was one of the hardest online asynch classes i have ever taken. He assigns way too much work and I could barely keep up with my other classes. There would be an exam on Friday and then a paper due that following Sunday. Unless you are really good with keeping yourself on top of things, do not take this class.

This course consisted of weekly quizzes, learnsmart homework assignments, group papers, extra credit papers, and reaction papers. I took Dr. McCall before so I am used to this workload. I recommend dedicating at least 2-3 hours a week on the assignments and you should be good. Only dislike is that the exams are on lockdown browser with the camera

Lectures are very boring. He would spend 20 minutes on each slide and caused us to be behind before every exam. The homework takes hours and may or may not include what we learned in class. Exams are virtually impossible to make an A on, questions are very vague with countless spelling errors. I probably wouldn't take him in person again.

I would not recommend taking this class, or at least don't take this professor. His tests are hard. And they are also on LockDown browser. Some of his questions are out of no where. The weekly quizzes are also very difficult. The reaction papers are very time consuming are are strictly graded. There is extra credit but it doesn't count much.

Tests are hard and papers have to be formatted 100% correctly. You are required to buy the online textbook for homework and iclicker, which gets expensive. Besides that, this class was super cool and he is a very engaging lecturer. He is accessible outside of class and is more than willing to answer any questions and help.

You will have a lot of McGraw-Hill assignments in this class. He spends a lot of time on one subject during lectures but tbh I found the content interesting so it was okay. You will have to come to class and participate via iClicker. If you use the McGraw-Hill recharge it will help you study for his exams.

Yes, Mccall does lecture a lot but he is genuinely very caring to his students. He offers several different kinds of extra credit (About 20 points for a 300 point semester). The textbook work is annoying but he does online exams. Great professor and hes awesome to talk to about anything psychology. Take him!

This professor had us watch the more traumatizing graphic things such as a literal porno. Also a 5 minute long video of someone getting tortured and raped in prison.
