Mr. Ogbeide is professional, enjoys politics and is particular about attendance. He is knowledgeable about history, and his tests were matching/multiple choice for 1302. As long as you do the work, and put forth the effort he will meet you halfway-he lets you know what you need to do to pass. This is the professor for Hist 1302!

I loved him! He has a good humor so your not bored in class all lecture. He will help you however he can. In first course his tests are essay questions I received an A in there. I also took second received a B his tests in there are multiple choice. He also always gives study guides! LOVE!

Test are the study guides. He will switch the questions up so you can't just remember the order. Very hard to understand and gives pop quizzes. If you show up do read your book and contribute in class you will make an A

He's well versed in his history and gives good lectures (vocal, no powerpoint) and if you listen well, his tests are easy, even more if you do the study guides. He's very laidback and friendly, but can get serious if needed. At first, you'll think you're in for a rough time due to his accent, but after a class he becomes clear to understand.

His class is interesting and he does have a thick accent, but you get used to it. The lectures are informative and he will answer any question you have. Gives study guides which help A LOT for tests. Overall, great professor!

Ogbeide is smart, and opinionated and he's not afraid to ask you about yours. Accent? Yes. Clarity? Most of the time, but that's why there's a syllabus! Read the book and know the matter, because this man is fueled by class participation.

Really cool professor, he talks a lot about life lessons and cracks jokes, but I didn't really mind. He gives 4 exams, and gives study guides to all of them. Study the study guides till you know the answer to each question and you'll pass with a 100. Overall very easy class, if you really study for those exams!

I took history 1301 and had 4 test and was given study guides that were identical to test. Very easy if you study, he made the class fun with his jokes and inspirational lectures. I will be taking him for 1302, easy A!!!

He is a comedian. You go to class to laugh and hear his personal views on the world. He is a chilled guy but academic wise, you will learn very little of history through him. He gives 4 multiple choice exams and a lot of extra credit.

If you want an easy A he is the option for you. He gives good life lessons and he is smart but i did not really learn anything from his class. Do your work and you will be okay.

I took a flex term for his class, and everyone that made a poor grade was just unwilling to complete the work. I made a perfect 100. Only had to study for tests, which the study guides had the exact test questions. He appreciates participation. Buy scantrons for tests for extra credit. Barely any homework, just tests. LONG RESEARCH PAPER DUE AT END

Mr. O makes History come to life with real world imput & insight. You will not get bord in his class. Gives extra credit, but trust me he makes ya work for it. I like him so much I came back and took 1302 with him and I intend on taking student government with him.

The class is composed of four test and one major research paper. He lectures and plays educational videos that require notes to be turned in. His lectures can be hard to understand, but he does clarify and repeat himself. Participation and attendance are important. He is a great and caring professor.

Professor O is one of a kind. If you following his rules and complete your assignments on time you will pass his class. He is a very fair professor and he works with his students on any occasions. Yes we did learn in his class and he is very good as what he teaches which is History and Government. I recommend him to students.

I took my Hist 1302 class with the professor. First I thought the class was difficult but I was kind of fun. You will be asked for a research paper and 4 exams. No surprises. He wants you to work hard. At first, he might look tough but he is easily approachable and you can ask for suggestions. Accessible outside the class too.

One of the easy professor of the El Centro. Do all the works and you will receive good grades. Easy A. Easy to approach. Don't procrastinate. Submit works on time. He also gives you gives many extra credit works but not like papers. Like making donations.

He is one of best teachers in El Centro. Took Hist 1301 and 1302 with him. Passed both with A. Just 4 tests and a research paper throughout the semester. They aren't that hard, just go through the guidelines and test reviews and you will be fine. Overall, a very caring and nice prof!

Took mayterm and summer 1 with him. It was so easy. You have 3 to 4 tests and a portfolio due which basically consists of summaries of what you learned each class. That's it. He is a very good professor and teaches well. Sometimes he gets off topic and you might not understand things he says. Just ask him to repeat and he will. Try to participate!

Is actually a great history professor but recognizes that a lot of us are just trying to get a basic out of the way and really makes the class easy for those who put the smallest bit of effort in. The course was very exciting and exceeded what I expected. Mr. Ogbiede cares about his students and shares his life experiences to help the class learn. The grading criteria is straight forward there are four major tests, one quiz, and a final paper. If you have any trouble with your assignments don't hesitate to ask. Ogbeide is AWESOME! He is an inspirational and motivating individual. As he teaches, he shares personal stories that ties in with History course. He is genuinely caring and available should you need more guidance on assignments. Before taking his class, I did not care for History subject, I enjoy history now. Very thought provoking class!

I absolutely loved professor O! He was funny and caring and I enjoyed the class very much. Such an easy class, totally recommend. No textbook needed he provides you with study guides and as long as you study them youll be good to go for the exams. You have to do 1 presentation, 4 exams & a portfolio. Trust me its super easy.

Show up to class and participate, you'll pass. Four total exams and a research paper, but this isn't a lot for one class. Easiest class to get an A. I'd have to recommend.

He's super funny! He understands that college is tough especially for those who work hence he skips the boring part of history. You don't want to miss his study guides. Memorize it word for word because it's the same thing you'll get for the exams. I took him for Hist1301, Hist1302, Govt2305 and Govt2306 he's that good! If you fail, its your fault!

Easiest teacher Ive ever had. Lectures consist of movies/videos. He tries to lecture but gets side tracked and makes us all laugh with his personal stories. There is four tests and he gives reviews for them. Memorize the answers for the review and youll pass all the tests. Final paper is 10 pages but it includes references, cover page, & all that

I have taken two of Mr.O's classes and I must say I will be taking him again. There are about 4-5 test and you can find the answers online. Its really about memorization. At the beginning of the semester he will assign a topic to each student which will be your topic for the presentation and final paper. There is no final, just a paper!

I took Professor Ogbeide for History 1302 online. I fell behind right away and he contacted me to make sure I was ok. He managed to turn my stress into laughter and I have to say he's just an amazing professor. I caught up really fast. His class has About 6 assignments. If you do your work you will pass! he answers any and all questions you have!

At the beginning of this class, I had a hard time understanding what he wanted me to turn in. In the end, it was a pretty easy class. but I do have to say, he screams on the phone if you do not understand the first time.

Had 4 exams a final paper and two writing assignments which were all fairly easy. The due dates for some of assignments were unknown but this has changed -taking HIST1302 now- if you contact him he usually gives extra time to submit and is not a harsh grader at all. I recommend contacting him via phone and ask questions if your facing any troubles.

I am taking both history 1301 and 1302. He is very helpful. I wish all professors to be like him. Take him. You will get extra time to submit. His instructions are clear. 100% recommend. Great Professor.

Professor Mike Ogbeide is a very understanding professor. Even if you are the procrastinating type or work full time he will work with you if you miss a deadline or two. As long as you communicate and do not wait until the course is ending to say something he will work with you. The assignments are pretty straight forward and easy to understand.

He was a great professor. I took him online and I would definitely recommend taking him. He answers questions fast. His class is organized. As long as you do the assignments, you are good and will pass his class. Communication is key with him. He also gives extra credit.

Took his wintermester class while working full time and got an A. Class was very easy , the work was lengthy BUT was easy. Recommend ,nice teacher just do the work and you will get an A .

Professor Ogbeide is an amazing professor and the course is super simple. Assignments can feel long but they are not complicated and there are only 6 assignments. There is no final but you do have to write a research paper. There are 4 exams for the semester and they are super simple. Communication is extremely important with him! Call him!!!

At first, I thought this class would be tough with all the history-related information, but in reality, it was quick, simple, and straightforward. Assignments are unambiguous, and all the questions relate to the textbook online; everything was brief would recommend many students to take this class for an easy passing grade.

Would 100% take this class again! A lot of homework and long papers but as long as you do at least the bare minimum and participate, he will give good grades and extra credit! Professor Ogbeide wants his students to succeed and does everything to make that happen, if you want it too.

I just wish most Professors could be like Professor Ogbiede. Very understanding and caring to his students. It is obvious he want his students to pass but will not give it to you for free. Do your work and he will help you too in return if need be. Long live Professor

I really enjoyed this class. I love how humble Professor Ogbeide is and how he really cares about his students. Do not hesitate to take his class. It is definitely worth it. The class consisted of online assignments, book assignments, a power point, one essay, and quizzes.

Professor Ogbeide was one of my favorite professors to date! I learned so much and this class made me want to get involved in my community as well! This class is easy to follow and very informative! He emails you back in a timely manner, and grades fairly. I would highly recommend his class.

Professor O gives clear instructions on the assignments and tests. He also teaches in a manner that keeps you engaged in the class room conversations. We talked about how current issues tie into the past as well. Over all, I would recommend taking his class!

Mr.Ogbiede's class was a great course to take for first-time college students! It's mostly self-paced, but as long as you stay caught up on your work it's pretty chill. In total, I wrote about 60 pages for the class, but Mr.Ogbiede grades super easy (except for the Final Paper). There are only 4 Exams and all of the questions come from the notes!

Professor Mike's teaching and guidance are good. I have no problem understanding his instructions and questions and he is supportive and he replies promptly. Thanks to him my history has made a remarkable leap and I am looking forward to Part 2 now.

I took this class in the summer, and it was a ton of work! I still received a good grade for this class, but you must dedicate a lot of time! I have written over 20+ papers which is more than what I have written for an English class. The professor responded sometimes when I had questions. Overall, it was an okay course.

Professor Ogbeide's class is straightforward - lots of assignments but fair grading. Using resources like the textbook and unstuck study study tools makes it manageable. Definitely take this class if you're willing to put in the work.
