Easy Easy classes. I cut regularly because it's so easy. Got a 94 on the last test in Windows Workstation this semester and got an A and a B in the previous 2 classes (Intro to Networking, PC Fundamentals)

Excellent teacher and very knowledgable about networking. Very nice and very easy if you pay attention and take good notes. Easy "A" as long as you do the homework assignments and listen carefully during reviews for exams. Highly Recommend!

Good professor. Goes over all the materail very well. Only gives 3 homework asignments and 3 tests all semester!

EXCELLENT TEACHER! The man is a networking guru. He definitely knows what he's talking about and has tons of experience. Explains everything extremely well and writes it all on the board using different colors so you can take great notes.

This Guy is great. A must take for Trig. Drops your lowest test grade. Also gives you notes that he takes right from the book for all test. I would take him again!

He presents the material in a clear, concise, and interesting manner. Class attendance is a must for exams. Testing is fair.

Absolutely loved this teacher. I passed the class with 100+. Tests are fair and well explained beforehand. Attendance is important to understand all he is looking for in homework and on tests.

I'm absolutely horrible at math and I got a D. He's a decent teacher though, I'll give him that. Just don't take him if you're really bad at math like me. My one complaint is that he NEVER puts the easier problems on the tests, always the absolute hardest ones he can find.He does give you partial credit, but that doesn't really make up for it, IMO.

such a nice guy, easy tests, need a 90 to get an A, but he spends a lot of time going over homework and little time on notes. it can be helpful though because it provides examples. test are really easy and you dont have to take the last one if you have an A by then. attendance doesnt count and he doesnt check HW

i think hes a great teacher as well as a person. he is very helpful and will answer any questions so make sure to ask them. he spend about an hour going over homework so make sure you do it so you can follow along because thats mainly how he teaches.

Had him for statistics. He spends most of the class going over homework and doesn't actually teach for long. The exams are based on the homework problems and are open book/open note. That's the only reason I passed.

I had Pawela for statistics and he was AWESOME! Really nice guy, great class--HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

He wasn't as bad as I expected. The homework does not have to be done because he spends the next class going over it in its entirety. As long as you pay attention you'll be fine. The text book is required and don't try to text or sleep because you'll get kicked out

Easiest math teacher I've ever had! There is no excuse to fail his class. I am horrible at math and I did great in his class. TAKE HIM!!!

Mr. Pawella was really helpful in increasing my understanding of algebraic mathematics! Although, at times he was too worried about being color coded with the problems. All in all he was a descent teacher! Extremely nice! No quizzes, only exams and he even drops your lowest grade!

Well, I'm almost done taking his Statistics class online. I have to say: so far, I think he's an excellent teacher. I took his class over the winter in a compressed, 5 week format, and have been able to understand everything fine. As with any other class - don't fall too far behind. He gives you all week for quizes and tests, but get zero undon

I love this professor. I too am taking this class online during winter session. It ends this week. I thought it would be hard to take a math class online but his clarity and explanations makes taking the online class extremely possible. Thank Mr P for an amazing Stats class

Great teacher! I had him for CIS classes and I learned a lot. He is very straight-forward &everything he sais is set in stone. If he promisses something or sais you will have your grades/results/exams on a certain date, that's what happens. His exam reviews - very helpful. The exams questions & the projects are essential skills he wants us to know.

I took his online stats course because of how great i did in his mat050 course. He is an excellent prof. and makes sure you truly understand what he's teaching. All quizzes and exams are online and webcast lectures aren't mandatory, but if you want to do well on your tests, you should. I wish he taught all levels of math!

Very good Instructor. Understands the topic at task and knows how to teach it very well. Tests are easy and even if you were to miss a class, the lectures are online so you don't miss the material. Do the homework's and you'll do fine on the tests. Will constantly go on about "real life systems" as he lectures in class. Still a great instructor.

Great professor. Honestly, he's probably the best/easiest/clear math teacher on the campus. I'm really upset that he doesn't teach any higher level Math courses. Take him... it's that simple. BTW,don't buy the textbook! you'll never open it! This was the case for Trig and Statistics.

I would highly recommend taking his online statistics class. He explains everything in detail and if you take notes you will have no problem getting an A. I didn't open my book the entire semester and passed with a 97. Some of the videos are pretty long and he does drag out sometimes but it's worth watching them all and taking the notes. Easy A!

I'm taking his web enhanced stats class right now and it's amazing. I was dreading taking this class, but he makes the material so much simpler than I expected. He's such a nice guy and truly cares about his students! Pay attention and put in the effort and you'll do fine!

I took his winter break online statistics class. I have to say he was amazing. I never bought my text book but never needed it either. All homework problems were given to you through blackboard. Gives detailed videos for the lecture. AWESOME INSTRUCTOR. i would take him again.

I'm a maths major and I personally thought most of the material in the course was intuitive and that one should have picked up most of it along the way of their studies. I do recommend him and his online Stats course if you have to take a math elective. Top notch guy who explains the material great to allow everyone to thrive and understand math.

Mr. Pawela is awesome! He explains the material very thoroughly, in a way that helps everyone understand math and excel. The tests and exams aren't difficult, and he drops a few of the lowest grades. The lectures are online. I do not recommend purchasing the two books. He teaches everything so well that they're completely unnecessary!

I took his "web enhanced" sats class and found it to be awesome. I struggle with math and he puts everything online so you can watch his lectures as many times as you need. He also put the homework problems online so you can work it out as you need. I was so impressed I am taking another one of his classes. Seriously if you can take his class!!

I took Prof Pawela's Trigonometry class. All of his lectures, quizzes and tests are available online, as well as homework. You can attend class or opt to be an online student. I loved having the option. He explained everything so clearly and made trig easily understandable. I am not a great math student but I got an A in this class. Take him!

Absolutely great professor. Took him for algebra & trig as well as statistics and would definitely take him again. Online lecture videos and exams, no graded homework. Very, very clear lecture videos does not skip parts and is very thorough and clear and easy to follow. Great professor and great guy. Would rate him 10 out of 10.

I've taken him for both statistics last semester and trig this semester. His lectures are well-explained, and he gives you the option of attending class (which I did), or becoming an online student. Either way, I don't see how you wouldn't be able to excel in his classes. He's a great professor and person. Highly recommend!

I hate math. I loved this course. It is the 2nd time I have taken Prof. Pawela. He puts everything for his classes online. You can watch the lectures and homework solutions as many times as you want. Ample time given for online quizzes and exams. He answers questions fast and drops your lowest grades! Don't buy the book. You don't need it.

Professor Pawela is great! I had him for the online summer class. Statistics is not an easy class, but he explains things clearly and very well. He also drops the 2 lowest quiz scores and 1 test grade. I highly recommend him.

This is your typical math class. hes a great instructor, puts all lectures online. tests are taking online. Pretty clear cut class. Do the work and get an A.

Professor P is a great teacher! Math is not my best subject and I managed to get an A in his Trig class and in Statistics. He explains everything very clearly and relates math to real life situations. His lectures are not the most exciting but they tackle the material in a way that makes you understand. I would take him again, hands down!!

Really great professor. Best online class I've ever taken. I'm really terrible at math, but he made everything easy to understand. No homework at all (just videos). The quizzes and exams are also quite easy. I really recommend him.

I took Mr. Pawela's hybrid statistics class and it was pretty easy. Math isn't something I've ever been fond of learning but the online lectures made it easy since you can go back in and basically rewatch everything he said in class. He made a subject I thought I was doomed to fail more accessible and easier to learn.

Best math professor I have ever had. His web orientated classes are either online or in class. Eventually everyone just does it online and if you go to his in class lectures, you can get a good personal learning experience. For me, this was extremely helpful. I Plan on taking him for any other class he teaches.

Decent professor. Fairly easy to get an A if you do the work.

I got a good grade in STATs SOMEHOW but the lectures were hard to follow and rather boring. I understood some but not others.

I really enjoyed this professor!! He made learning this subject fairly easy. He liked to use real life scenario to help solve a problem. He moved at a pace that allowed you to really be able to understand the material. Would definitely take again.

Mr. Pawela is an awesome teacher! Last year i took him for trig and I am now taking him again for STAT. I am no good with math but he has made things much easier to understand, especially with how he relates things to real world scenarios.

Great teacher, had him for Trigonometry. Teachers in class from his own online videos, so you can go back and watch again or if you miss a class. I would definitely take him again.

A great professor, he is funny and nice and genuinely cares about the success of his students. Lectures and tests are online and attendance isn't mandatory. The book isn't necessary for success but it is good to have while studying.

Simple guy with a simple class. Everything he does in class is also online for you, so going to class is not mandatory. There is either a test or a quiz at the end of each week. Typical math, meaning if you practice the material you will do fine. Nothing too hard either. I liked this guy alot.

Loved this class. I hate any kind of Math, but I didn't hate his Statistics class- No stress online environment. Despite not being overburdened with work, I still learned a lot because his online lectures are very detailed and you can go back and forth if you miss something. He's awesome. Take him if you hate Math. No stress, but you'd learn!

You don't have to show up to class to pass. Going to class is optional. He has the entire class available online for you both lectures and quizzes/exams (which is amazing). If you do choose to show up to class he is a great guy who clearly loves what he does. Easy A.

Definitely not what I expected. Prior to taking this class I was already telling myself that I was going to fail since I am not good at math. I actually passed this class with an A ! Professor Pawela is amazing, his online lectures are very detailed. Everything is a different color and provides real life examples. He's patient and understanding.

Easy online class, every test answer is easy to find. I went to one of his in school classes and he is very nice and answers any questions you have. The whole class is just 15 tests, one for each week. I'm taking another one of his classes next semester.

The way he teaches is so understanding and clear. Showing up doesn't matter because everything you do is online.

Pawela is a great teacher, I took the class online. All you have to do is watch videos and take notes and you will get an easy A. Lectures are very straight forward, however time consuming. Would suggest taking him!

He really is able to explain mathematics to even the least confident of students. Taking him for Statistics and was blown away at how smart he is. Very articulate! he gives the option of taking the class online, i'd advise coming to class if you need more help outside lectures online, I don't even need the help but go to hear his amazing lectures

Best teacher I've met at RCGC. I'm taking his hybrid class. All his lectures are online and they're so clear and easy to follow. Every time I've emailed him, he's gotten back to me within a day. I told him it was difficult for me to get to class with my work schedule and he worked with me and let me be completely online, great prof, great person.

i suck in math its as always been my weak subject but he great everythin online if you need to you can come to class to ask question cause class is optional dont need a book but take notes and watch the video lectures or you wont pass but its a test every week and exam every 2-3 week test 10-Q's 2 hours exam 20 Q's 4 hours so it no reason to fail.

Professor Pawela is a great professor. I took his hybrid Statistics class and it was a great class. All the work is online and attendance is optional. I went to almost all the classes because I enjoyed talking to him, great guy.

Honestly, I thought I would like Statistics until I took this professor! He was very helpful even though the class didn't meet very often and it was all online. He helped outside of class which was extremely needed, honestly. He talks a lot about applying statistics to the real world. Really nice guy!

Took his class online and it was super easy. Based off of quizzes and tests which are not hard at all.

Took a hybrid class with this professor, attendance didnt matter so I only went the first and second times. Each week there was either a test or quiz and the materials he set out for you will prepare you well. If you can take this professor, please do. You wont regret it.

He is such a good teacher. His explanations on the subject were straightforward. He was able to convey the subject matter clearly and I didn't once get lost or confused about what he was explaining. And that is saying something, because I hate math. And now, I don't. Take his class, you will not regret it. Best math teacher ever!!!

Online & Summer so very fast pace but Prof. Pawela does his best to make sure everything is straight to the point. Lots of lectures but the example problems are reflections of the quiz & exams. Homework optional but helps & lowest quiz / exam are dropped. minimal room for error, but if math is a decent area for you this class will be fine.

I took an accelerated online course with him over the summer. I should have gotten an A in the class. There's no reason you won't pass. The only reason I got a D is because I skipped two weeks of work in a seven week class, lol. He's a great professor, just put the effort in. It was just two quizzes and an exam each week.

Professor Pawela is by far the best professor I've ever had. He is extremely flexible and does a great job of helping even the least confident student. The entire course can be done online, and attendance is optional. He also explains everything in a way that anyone can understand it. If you have to take statistics, I would highly recommend him.

His class was a hybrid, so he did not require attendance. Halfway through the semester I was the only student who showed up, so I got a 1 on 1 lecture every week. His lectures were easy to understand, and he made the tests and quizzes manageable. He was understanding and accommodating throughout the semester, and wanted all his students to succeed

I took his online summer course and he is the best professor/teacher I have ever had. I have been out of school for years and I was able to excel in his class. His lectures are very clear and he doesn't skip over any information. I emailed him several times and he got right back to me with detailed help. I wish he could teach all my courses!

First time ever taking a statistics class and this professor made it great! His online lectures were easy to understand during this 5 week summer course. I can't complain about anything other than buying the expensive textbook and not opening it once.

Professor Pawela is one of the best math teachers at RCSJ!! Took his hybrid stats course and although you're only graded on a few quizzes and tests, it was all online. They were short and simple and went over the topic he would teach in class (if you wanted to go) and from videos online. He dropped a few low grades too at the end of the semester.

I personally took his 5-week online algebra and trig course and I love this professor! Looking back I see that the textbook doesn't matter much because he gives 15 assignments (3 a week), all of which have a video(s) of very thorough lectures to watch beforehand. He is very in-depth and very responsive with questions. Hope to have him again!

Explains everything very in depth. Took his 15 week stats online and never had an issue. Only assignments were a quiz per week and exam every 3 weeks. All are multiple choice. Homework videos for extra help. Drops two lowest quiz and one lowest exam grade too. No textbook needed. Great teacher!

Professor Pawela is great. I signed up for the hybrid class so after the first-day attendance is not mandatory you can take the class fully online. Class setup and due dates are very clear and consistent every week. Homework is optional and isn't graded quizzes every week and tests every 3 weeks. Videos are clear to understand

Hands down my favorite professor I have had. Taking his online course, he goes into great detail on his lectures, but he is not boring to listen to!! Very easy class. Homework and lectures are not graded, only quizzes and exams. I would highly recommend this class.

I took Prof Pawela for a hybrid stats class. Classes were optional, and the whole course was fully accessible online. He posts all of his lectures ahead of time. Only grades on quizzes and exams, both fully open-book and open-note. He's super clear and very available for extra help whenever!

He was great. I missed three quizzes and an exam, and he allowed me to make it up for full credit. His lectures were very helpful and the quizzes and exams are 10 questions and 20 questions long, respectively. It was a lot to do, but as an accelerated course, that's to be expected.
