Greatest professor I've had at Blinn. Good guy, likes to help out the student. Made 100 on midterm, and 100 on final. I'm not the smartest either!

His class is easy as long as you are there taking notes and study your notes for the tests. He's a great teacher!

He's a great prof. He only gives 2 exams and a comprehensive final. His exams are easy as long as you take good notes and do his review sheets. You also has 3 easy hmk assignments. He's very cool and will relate to you in his lectures. He made PSYC interesting even though some of the things can be very boring.

He is a really great professor! He wants EVERYONE to get an A! He has a great way of keeping you interested while teaching the material. His class is very helpfull and actually USEFUll -not just for a credit.

Took Psychology 2301 with him. He's one of the best professors I've had so far. He has a great personality, very nice, and easy to understand; he wants everyone to do well in his class. He gives two tests and then the final exam (which is formatted more like your third test) all of them are lecture-based. I only used the textbook once or twice.

Mr. Pinny is by far the best Prof Ive had thus far. One of the only classes where everyone actually pays attention. He knows his stuff, but teaches in a fun, new age style.NO HW,2 Tests,1 Final(No midterm)Final is more of a 3rd test...He grades on Attendance,Class Participation,One Research Paper. This is a great teacher, who practically gives easy A's away for nothing! If you take any other prof for PSYC2301 you are doing yourself a disservice. FYI- DO NOT buy the textbook or study guide for this class, it is a waste of money. You will never use the textbook for this class, EVER!!!! all tests are 50Q mult. choice. and pretty easy

I took Psych over 10 years ago at a big university back East. If Mr. Pinney had been teaching, I would have actually learned something. Just goes to show the name of the school isn't everything. He is a quality instructor and gives you all the tools to succeed. Highly recommended.

Great guy. Always told life stories and entertained us in our late-night-once-a-week class. No textbook!! Gave us handouts with the daily .ppts already on it. Knew what he was talking about and always had an example. Highlights during chapters covering 'psychoactive drugs', 'altered states of conciousness', and 'strange practices'. A+

very talkative in class. tells you stories about his family and life to help you learn the material better. he gives out rewiews before every test. basically if you go to every class, listen, take good notes and do the reviews it will be impossible to fail.

I loved this class! I hated to skip sometimes but he was super understanding. His lectures are so interesting and he def keeps your attention. He gives tons of extra credit opportunities and exams are fairly easy. No homework!!! My bf recommended this prof and I'm so glad I took his advise :)

The greatest Psych prof. I have taken so far. he is so funny and really seems like he loves what he does. He gives home work but grades really easy. Test are fairly easy if you follow the review he gives. But study your notes from class. Hes super great!doesnt give any nline home work.

Mike Pinney is one of the most intelligent, interesteing, and entertaining professors I've ever had. He makes his course fun to learn and I enjoyed going to his class. His exams aren't too difficult if you take notes on his lectures. He tells you what you need to know out of the book. Just take good notes and study a full day ahead of the exams.

He is the professor to take. He tells a lot of stories that relate to the lecture and understand that as college students we do stupid stuff and relates to it. On the test if you do the review, that he puts online you can usually fine all the answers on studystack, it's extremely easy. I would recommend him to anyone.

He is such a great teacher. He is funny, always cracks up the class. He's good with power points and some movies. Great person, super sweet, tells relavant stories about his kids. Tests involve questions straight from the lecture notes or terms from the textbook. I love this teacher. This is really a great class, doesn't even feel like school.

His reviews are just like the test so studying it the day before the test will be fine. Doesn't give much homework but when he does it's an easy grade booster. Super easy if you want an A take him!

Mr. Pinney is the awesome!! He has interesting stories that really help you remember things for the test. Sometimes he will put things from his stories onto the test so make sure to go to class! However, if you take him, you will never want to skip. He made psychology very easy and very interesting. His test were just like the reviews he hands out!

Pinney was a great professor! Made the topics very investing and had great stories to go with each lesson. He makes everything very relatable and understands what college students are going through. Does not take attendance but he makes you want to go to class! Lots of interesting videos and funny stories! Gives a review very similar to the test!

Mr. Pinney was freaking awesome. He loves what he does and make lectures interesting. He has a lot of experience in the field and always tell hilarious stories. He doesn't take attendance, but I never wanted to skip because his class was genuinely interesting. His test are easy and he puts a review online for each one. Never used my book TAKE HIM!

Attendance isn't really a thing to him, but if you miss class you miss lecture. He's a great teacher and his reviews for tests are word for word. You only take like 3 tests in there, and homework every now and then! Not everynight! He's super easy!

He is a very nice guy who loves his students. His lectures are entertaining. The quizzes and test are very straight forward so you know exactly what to expect. Go to class because the answers are word-for-word in his lectures. Be organized and make sure to complete all the assignments on time and you shouldn't have any problems making an A.

You need to read the book to make an A. I personally think you need to go to class everyday; he gives out a paper called "things to know" for each week. You'll use the "things to know" to study for test and the final. He won't tell you to the end of the semester, but the final has extra credit, that can move you from a low D to a low B! Take notes!

He doesn't care if you come to class or not but alot of his test questions are from lecture. There are few assignments to do but he does hand them out in class so miss class and you miss the assignment. overall you could probably never show up and get an A or B on his test because his review is exactly like the test. quizlet is a great thing to use

Pinney's a cool dude, but this class was a tad difficult. Pinney must take general psych differently from developmental psych because he is a completely different teacher. You have to know a lot from the textbook and the tests were hard. You really REALLY have to try to make a B+ or an A in developmental psychology.

One of my favorite teachers! Always makes lectures fun, it's obvious that he loves what he does. He's very clear about how he tests and what he looks for, and he gives good study tips. I wish he taught more classes!

He is an awesome guy. He lectures through personal stories which makes it easier to understand the concepts. He gives you things to know worksheets for the tests, study them. There are a few homework assignments and lecture quizzes but if you pay attention you will do well.

Professor Pinney is an absolutely amazing teacher. He is a definitely a character, but really cares about the information. His class is very entertaining! He is constantly coming up with ways to help his students remember the information. Questions are always answered clearly. You always know what to do and how to do it.

I loved Mr. Pinney! HIs lectures are very easy to pay attention to. He doesn't check roll, but if you go to class he passes out "Things 2 Know" which are SO helpful on the test. Take him!

Funny dude! He made the lessons so much fun by telling hilarious stories. Easiest tests ever, made an A on every one including the final. Every question is from the Things 2 Know worksheets or a few questions from the book. Make sure to keep up with the online quizzes! Not much extra credit.

Don't skip class because you need to take good notes every lecture. Read the chapters before your test and you should do good on the tests. Tests were mainly lecture notes with a few trick questions from the textbook, so read it! He tries to relate to his students and tries to make the class entertaining.

Professor Pinney was a great teacher. He lectures from personal experience and he is HILARIOUS. He does however like to mess with his students and if your sensitive he may not sit well with you. Other than that he's a great guy

This professor is very entertaining but not only that he is very well equipped to teach the subject. Other professors need to have a meeting with him on the topic " How Do I Become A Better American Professor". Literally this man distracted me with humor but also taught the subject so you'd have to stay focused to pass the class. Thats psychology.

By far one of the best professors you can get. Had to retake this class because of how bad my other professor was that i had the semester before. It's like taking an entire different class. He's hilarious and it's the one class i look forward going to! Amazing at lectures, he makes it more into a conversation then just straight facts! Easy to pass!

This guy is awesome! He knows many people take his class for the easy A and totally rolls with it. Great lectures in person and online. I was in the blended class so I only went one day a week and watched a lecture online once a week. I highly recommend that. EASY A and enjoyable! Seriously, take him!!!!

Favorite professor so far! He made lectures interesting so time went by quickly. Exams are easy if you take notes in class and do the exam review. There are 4-5 questions on the exam that come from the book but I never worried about those. He offered extra credit twice which definitely helped. He cares about his students and wants them to succeed.

I loved Pinneys blended psychology course! His lectures are interesting and you wont be watching the clock until class is over. He gives a review that is almost like the test except for a few questions from the book, which sometimes you can use common sense to answer. Take him, study a little bit, and youll be fine! The class was easily the most enjoyable I had over the last semester, and Pinney makes it really easy to be interested in. The lectures are enjoyable, and there isnt a lot done outside of class. There are a few writing assignments, but they dont take much time and he doesnt grade harshly at all. Final was pretty easy as well if youve kept up.

Very fun class and a highlight of my semester! Lectures were really well made and the information was both informative and could be used outside of class. Minimal homework/classwork but tests can definitely be challenging if you don't study or read the chapter. Quizlets help a lot and sometimes people will include information for the textbook.

Definitely one of my favorite classes all semester long. His lectures are great and really funny though he does tend to tell a lot of stories. The exams were decently challenging but if you study the review's, you should be okay. We had three homeworks all towards the end of the semester.

I was very excited for this class because I thought it was going to be fun but I was disappointing. You have to make sure to read the book to get an A on the test plus attend the lectures. He is funny and strange. Also, there is not many assignments so if you don't do well on test you're screwed.

His class is pretty easy, I only made a C because of missed assignments. His exams are all 100 questions and you will get an easy B if you pay attention in class and study. He does reviews which is awesome. Does presentations and shows videos so if you're a visual learner (like me) i recommend taking his class. Very chill and awesome dude B)

I don't know how Mr. Pinney has ANY bad reviews on here. Easily my favorite class crammed into an 8-week course. Wish I had taken 16 weeks! His lectures were really interesting and interactive. As long as you pay attention which is very easy to do in such a fun class, you can make a B with little to no and an A with slightly more effort.

Class was very fun to attend. If you miss class it is very easy to catch up with what you missed online. There are only 2 tests (one of which is the final) which are heavily weighed but he provides an amazing review for both. Not many assignments so the class isn't a lot of work but everything is weighed heavily but an easy A if you do the work.

Will go above and beyond. Lectures are interesting and he almost always has a story to go with those lectures. Not a lot of grades but a few major homework assignments that are weighed heavily, but very easy and gives an extended amount of time to complete. Reviews are close to exams but not exact so tend to class to have deeper understanding.

Class is interesting but most lectures are spent talking about his life rather than the specific material. Test reviews are given and can get you a B on the test. To fully understand everything, you have to read the textbook. There is very little homework given.

One of my favorite professors! The lectures are enjoyable and he has a personal experience for most of the concepts which makes it even better. He is very laid back and grades leniently. Exams are an easy A if you go to class, take notes, and read the textbooks. I would also recommend making flashcards of the concepts and definitions as you learn.

Proffesor Pinney is one of the most caring professors I have ever taken! His lectures cover everything you need to know about the course / for assignments. He gives clear instructions on the assignments he gives in class, and he is open to answering questions after class. This course did not require lots of outside time, but still made an A.
