He is awesome!!!!!! He is super nice and super helpful. His lectures are very animated (you'll know what I mean when you take him). Take home midterm and take home final that's it. Your grade is based on attendance and the take home exams (2). You won't regret taking his course. He even takes food or candy to his classes.

Loved this class and this professor!! He's passionate, enthusiastic and highly entertaining. He's a lawyer, so you can trust what he teaches. Just pay attention to the lectures and you'll do well on the 2 tests. I would definitley recommend this class and this professor. A perfect 10!

Mr. Varisco is great, but you need to show up to class and take notes! Don't expect to get a good grade in his class without putting in the time and effort to pass. He is also very good about e-mailing you back with answers to questions. Would recommend him to anyone.

Mr. Varisco is an excellent professor. I had a great semester. The lectures were fun and interesting. The group discussions and class activities were fun and challenging. Do not expect to get an A without showing up for class. He is fun, but he is also fair. I would take him again if he was teaching other classes. You won't regret his class.

EASY A ,Such a awesome Professor! So energetic, down to earth,and easy to get along with and especially is pretty cute :) I learned alot and had fun at the same time, if thats even possible.

I attended the first class of the semester because several of my friends said this guy is a really good teacher. After the first night, I can expect to have a good semester. He seems very fun, knowledgeabal, and seems like he can realy handle a large group of students. He is a lawyer, has alot of experience and is quite funny. So far impressed.

You students taking Mr. Varisco this semester won't regret it. He is very patient with the students; really seems to care. You'll enjoy the class lectures. Hang in there and you be glad you did. Although the tests are take-home, make sure you attend the classes! Also, his outlines are great and very useful for classroom discussion and memory.

He is one of the coolest and nicest teachers in the world. One midterm and a final and they are both take home. This is a very easy, stress-free class and an EASY A. Attendance is mandatory and you won't need to buy the book. He has a lot of interesting stories and makes class so much fun.

I am glad I took this class. I learned a lot about the law, and had fun while learning it. Attendance is important, but it was really worth attending. Even though the class was packed, it seemed like Mr. Varisco was giving each student personal attention. He is very genuine and really seems to care about the students.

This class has been a fun to take so far. The teacher has been very helpful to each of us. I emailed the teacher with a legal questions and he got back to me real fast. He gives a lot of free legal advice to the students(he's an attorney) when we have legal questions. He is a good addition to the Cypress teaching staff. Bye.

He is one of the best teachers he actually made me want to go to class at 7 pm. DO NOT BUY THE BOOK! He writes out your notes for you. Exams are take home. He made the class fun and intersting with his stories (he is a lawyer). Attendance is mandatory but, you won't mind going to class. There are little group assign or questions to do in class

the best teacher ever! only thing you do in that class is just write down some notes. he tells a lot of funny stories too. dont need textbook. midterm and final are take home and really easy. you get extra credit for attending "all" classes. some other extra credit assignments. MUST TAKE HIM!

This was one class I really looked forward to going to. Mr. varisco applies alot of hands-on and real life experience to his class lectures. I learned so much about the law, business, writing and test taking. This class was fun. I like the way the teacher organized the class. The students bonded in class. Overall I give him an A+.

So far the class have been great. Teacher is very enthusiastic. So far the best teacher to date. I have learned a lot. Actually the class is pretty easy because he gives us outlines, we do group discussions and the lectures are really straihgtforward. The tests will be takehome too. This class has sparked an interst in me to go into the law.

Very impressed with this class and instructor. This class was one of the funnest classes to get an A in. The take home exams were sort of challenging. Yes, you heard me, Take Home Exams! Mr. Varisco brought us chapter outlines and made our learning so much easier. The class was definitely worth taking.

I may not be the best student, but I got an A in this class. Mr. varisco really guided me along to understandign the material. I enjoyed the entire cvlass.

Overall this class was effective for me. The teacher gave us some really good learning tools that I have never used in other classes. The only dissapointment I had this semester was that our guest speaker (cop) was not able to show up for the class because he had some emergency or something. The class was so helpful for me. I need the class for transfer to Long Beach State. I learned so much in the class and the teacher provided so much insight in what to expect in my more advanced business classes I will be taking at CSLB. The class went so smooth. Really enjoyed it all.

I highly recommend this class. My boyfriend and I took it together. We were able to work on the take home tests together. Some students worked on the tests and assignments in groups. This is the one class I enjoyed going to. The professor kept us going through the class with activities. I wish there was a follow-up class to this one.

I took this class last semester and I found it very helpful. The teacher is adimant about being on time and beign respectful to other students. Other than that, the class is fun. I was referred to this class was a friend of mine who took it the previous semester. Had the class last semester (SPG-2011) and really loved it. Teacher was really informed each class. It seems like we were always laughing. Very humorous class. I learned a lot about success in small business. The class actually helped me in starting my business.

Very enjoyable class so far this semester. Just make sure that you attend the classes and are on time. He keeps reminding the students to be careful about that. But overall good class. We got take home examsn, funny kectures and he enjoys teaching us. Highly recomended.

I would say that I have enjoyed this semester. My carear path is in law, and this class was like an overview of the law for me. very understandable, very straight forward in the approach by the teacher. He only teaches this class and the other 241, but it has been a good semester. Michelle.

This was a real good class. The semester went very fast. I would recommend it. Teacher Mike was kind to all of us. He was very humorus. He had alot of stories and I actually learned something in class. Definitely worth it.

Best teacher I have ever taken. He's super nice and funny. There are 1 take-home midterm and 1 take-home final, a few easy homework. He also let us work in groups for both tests. Overall, this is a fun class you don't wanna miss. P/S: free pizza night.

Very nice, caring and funny. Made class very enjoyable and fun. Textbook is not needed because he explains everything very well in his handouts. He gives plenty of great examples that help you on the homework and tests, just be sure to pay attention! There should be more professors like him! I strongly recommend taking this class!

His way of teaching is different from most teachers but it really does help me understand the material well. He gives examples of scenarios and keeps his notes simple. You learn useful stuff in this class. He keeps his class interesting. I would recommend him.

Professor Mike is among the best professors I have taken. He makes sure you understand the material. No need of the text book, gives you all the notes. Love this class so far. Very fun to go to. Learning a lot too. The class seems packed each night. I usually take night time classes and some of the students in my other classes are tired and look sleepy. The teacher keeps us very interested throughout the night. One of the most memorable professors I've ever taken. Super nice, funny and real AF. Night class gets cut super early so don't worry about taking him at night. Seriously the best professor at Cypress College. He's extremely knowledgeable and always going out of his ways to help students. Such a genuine, kind, and humble professor. I actually always looked forward to class, his lectures were always very clear and informative and he always used real life examples to make it more clear.

Super easy teacher, easy grader, grade on the curve. All tests are allowed take home and a few in-class assignments. It's not hard. As long as you show up regularly, pay attention to what he taught and submit assigned homework. Getting A is a piece of cake. Trust me. Take his class, you won't be regret!!!

I would take another class with Mr. Varisco if I could. I will be finishing this semester at Cypress College and this has been a great college for me. I took the Management 240 class and all I can say is that it was possibly the best experience I had in class as a student. It was fun, always looked forward to class, and learned a lot. First impression is the kindness of the prof when he gave all his students supplies (erasers, pencils, files, scantrons). As a lawyer, his speech makes more sense than just simply reading a book. No books required but pay attention to real examples he discussed in class. Easy A, exams are done at home (WOW); not trying to trick or treat students

Professor Varisco is the best professor you can take to learn about business legalities. His simple rule: show up to class. That is all. He even gives every student all the supplies they need for his class, including candy/ occasional food so that you stay awake and interested. Super funny and all around great educator. Easiest exams ever.

The only con to taking this professor is that you will not know your grade until the end of the semester. Other than that, he is a great professor. He loves sharing his experience as a lawyer and makes the class that more interesting. He is kind and passionate about his career. I definitely recommend taking him.
