mr. yarborough tells clever stories everyday. he makes sure you understand and takes the time to help you. he heads up the math club and makes sure there are opportunities for exta credit for those who need a little extra help.

His enthusiasm makes going to math class fun.

I loved this teacher. You can tell he loves the subject because he gets excited about it. He tells jokes and stories. When you have a question he takes the time to make sure you understand it. I wish he could be my math teacher every time i move up.

If you have to take a Math class, I highly recommend this teacher. He loves Math and teaching and makes going to class every day bearable. I appreciated the way he went over everything step by step. The only drawback is, he does call on you to answer (but most teachers do).

I like this prof..he's class was very fun and he's not in a hurry when he teaches...he waits until everyone gets it and he's very clear in explaining stuff too. He tells a lot of jokes and stories about the math in his life...some are funny, though I think most of them are corny but you can't help but laugh coz of how he tells it! take his class!

I loved Mr. Yarbrough. He's very cute but besides that he is great because he's really passionate about Math. Seriously he is so into math so you'll actually learn from him. He was good at explaining and making you learn it. He grades you fairly and gave you homework but he would always make the class interesting with his little math stories. He's very passionate about math so you will totally get him. He's a great teacher.

Mr Y. uses the book, but will teach you MUCH easier methods in lectures. Patient, clear, and available for office hours if you need help. Math is my worst subject - he made it almost painless. Class notes made sense outside of class. Reasonable on attendance, but you'll miss out on shortcuts if you miss class. Great teacher one of the best at CRC!

Mr. Yarborough is the best math professor I have ever had! After dropping 3 math classes I ended up in his and LOVED IT! He is the nicest, most easy going teacher I have met. Excellent teacher. Very nice, funny, and entertaining. Likes to tell jokes and stories. Keeps class interesting with "mathematician of the day" and is the professor for the math club. Tests are a little hard and he does check homework, but I took him by choice for a second class. Ladies: He is very good-looking but married with two kids.

Math has been a problem my whole life. I got out of his class with a B! That is like an A to me. I agree that if possible, I'd take him for all my math classes. His style works the best for me. I also got out of my first class with him with a B. My second class I escaped with a C and my life! I loved Mr. Yarbrough,(the site has misspelled his name)he was great! I think I could take Calculus from him! Take his class,he is very open to answering any "dumb" questions that you may have! Very helpful! A true teacher in every sense of the word.

I took 101 and 102 which is the same as (math 100) over the summer. He is one of those teachers that you will miss after the class is over. Extremely easy going, funny, and helpful. If you do the homework and keep up with it, you will easily pass the tests and class.

Also forgot to mention, homework is collected once a week during summer which is good and BAD. If you are a slacker and procrasinate way too much, do not take this class, especially over the summer! Essentially, homework will determine your grade because it is the only way to "study." Either way, you can't go wrong with Mr. Yarbrough!

The best teacher I ever had for a math class. He's so sweet and helpful. Easy going but sometimes can be strict. He can be silly sometimes with the math history:)I would take him for every math class I need but too bad he doesn't teach higher math.

Mr. Y is awesome. Hes a good teacher and he is passionate about math. He loves the history of math. He give a few pts extra credit and it kinda help if your grade is at a border line. His test are from the homework so be sure to do your homework. Its mostly the even problem. Also, sometime he might be lazy and take test from last semester.

It does not matter what math class he is teaching. If you want an opportunity to get an A, take his class. Took Calculus I with him, got an A. Waiting for him to teach Calculus II. Lectures are spot on and cover mostly everything, having said that it is you responsibility to do all the HW and understand all of it if you want an A in this class.

He is seriously a good teacher. Ask any other student of his. Only problem is he might not offer the math level you are looking for. But gives reasonable homework and very fair tests.

I'm here to tell you that Dr. Yarborough is the Barack Obama of CRC. He is inspirational and transcends math and logic. Dr. Y is no math geek, rather, he's a math Greek God. If you can take his class, or just be in his presence, by any means necessary, DO IT!

took him over summer and he's the best math teacher i've had explains things so that everyone can understand and he let us us a page of notes on our test. Told math stories which were extra creidt quetions on the test. I would def. recommend him!

hw is worth only 10% and ITS ALOT of hw! idk why he made it like that. test and final is pretty much your entire grade. be prepared for the hw, test are medium-hard. sometime he curves on test. hes really nice and helpful. class is straight forward; take notes and go home afterwards. if you do your hw and study a lil you'll be fine!

This teacher was amazing. He made one of the hardest subjects become understandable. I am very appreciative to how this teacher was so helpful and anybody taking calculus should take this teacher.

This is my 2nd semester with him. He is an amazing teaching. math is never a good subject for me. I always struggled. But with him, I find myself understanding his lectures. I love how he teaches. he repeats and go over steps until you get it. How many other professors does that? Tests are medium hard and make up the class. I highly recommend him!

I took this class Spring 11' and by far Mr. Yarborough is the best math teacher on that campus. He was so easy to understand and had a GREAT sense of humor. I found myself looking forward to his class the entire semester. Take him you wont regret it.

I am horrible at math but whenever I take one of his classes I know I am going to pass bc he makes the material easier to understand. Great teacher, funny guy, homework is due every couple weeks which is convenient, notecards on tests, and attendance isn't mandatory. 2 thumbs up!

This professor is really clear with the material and definitely not dry. He doesn't require you to go to class, but it makes it a lot easier to understand if you go. We go over all of the material before the test, and you can ask homework questions at the beginning of class. I struggle with math but he made it a lot easier

Professor Yarborough was awesome!! I took him for Math 102 and Math 120 and walked out with both A's. He teaches very clearly and if you pay attention and go to every lecture, and do your homework, you will be just fine on the exams. He has 4 exams and a final. If you score an A+ on 3 exams, he won't make you take the final.

He's a great teacher! Answers all questions and clarifies. If you attend class and do the homework it will be easy.

He was extremely helpful and made math as interesting as possible. Math will always be a struggle for me, but what really helps is a teacher who grades students based on how they are able to use an equation properly when given, and not if they can remember what the equation is by heart.

I took his class from math 20,30,100, and 120 and passed all of them. He is very nice. He makes his teaching style clear. His drops your lowest test. Homework is due the day of the test. He doesn't make his class hard at all. If you need help he is there for you when you need it. He is an amazing teacher.

I took Professor Yarborough this last semester for Math 102. His class overall was easy. He explains very well what will be on the test, and makes sure you understand what you are learning in class by going over any homework questions you need help on in class. If I can take him for any other math classes I would no doubt!

Amazing!!! I absolutely suck at math but Yarborough makes it so easy! Idk how he makes it so easy but he does!! Highly recommend. He picks like the easiest problem for the exams and also drops your lowest score. Hw is only 10% but i still don't suggest that you skip out on the hw. I'm going to take him for as long as I can until I'm done with math

Once you're enrolled, you can either just show up for tests or you can actually attend his lectures. He makes math easy to learn and his lectures aren't bad. You turn in packets of homework assignments that covers every chapter you've learned in that unit on the day of the test. He's funny and offers extra credit questions on tests. Def recommend!

Honestly, a great and genuine teacher! I love his teaching style because he provides lots of examples and explains every step. He had extra credit opportunities on his exams. 5 exams overall and they are easily manageable if you do the homework and go to class. Great professor!

Professor Yarborough is one of the easiest math teachers I have ever taken at CRC! He doesn't do quizzes and there are only 4 test and a final. Also, Homeworks is due about one every 11/2 to 2 weeks. His lectures are very easy to understand and he os very clear on how he grades. I highly recommend him if you are looking to pass your math class!

This professor is great! No question was a stupid question. He made sure everyone understood what he was doing at all times. He is more than willing to stay after class and help you in anyway possible and make it easier to understand. Highly would recommend taking this professor. This professor is hands down the best math professor I've taken. Take good notes, do all the homework, study and you'll pass. This is coming from the person that's horrible at math. He cares about his student and wants everyone to pass. If you need help don't hesitate to ask because he explain problems very well! Would 100% recommend.

Do your homework daily, helps prepare for the test. I didn't do my homework once and was my worst test score (usually get A and got a D on that 1). Go 2 class lectures r helpful

Prof. Yarbrough really cares about you understanding the material, just ask him for clarification. His class is easy because he explain concepts extremely well, helps you understand important stuff you will need in later math classes (like factoring and simplifying). Show up for lectures, do your homework and you will pass with a high grade.

Math ins't my strongest subject so having a professor like Yarbrough is such a relief! He explains things so easily and really helped me understand concepts. But it is also up to you to study! Definitely an amazing professor!

I based my whole schedule for my next semester specifically so I can take his class again for Math 120. I have always struggled with math but I carried an easy A throughout the whole semester. His teaching style is not only easy to comprehend but he makes the class enjoyable.

Too bad there is not 100 Professor Yarbrough!!! I've heard good things about Professor Yarbrough but could never get into his class because EVERYONE want to take him. He truly is great Math professor. Anyone can be a math professor but not everyone could teach the subject. If you show up to class, study hard you will pass.

This was the best grade I've gotten in a math class in my whole life. He's funny, engaging and more than happy to work with you outside of class. He starts every class by going over any questions on the HW. There's also fun extra credit at the end of each test. GREAT professor, highly recommend especially if you suck at math like me.

I'm not even sure if I passed the class and I'd still take him again. He's understanding and always willing to listen to your confusion about the lesson. Explains the background of math and not just the example. Interacts w the class! A lot of teachers just talk and pretend like we aren't there! He makes you feel a part of the classroom. Cool guy

Math is something I really struggle with, so the class wasn't easy but the professor gave great practice tests before each exam and even provided an extra credit opportunity! Yarborough is very kind, encouraging & patient. Having a leaving disability, I was used to math teachers being very unkind but soon after I started his class, I realized he had a different approach that made me feel comfortable. Definitely recommend!

He is clear on what he tests on and as long as you do homework and the practice tests there's no reason you can't get an A also!! This is coming from someone who has struggled all my life in math!!

By far the best professor at CRC! Took him previously for 120 and when I saw that he was going to teach business calculus I knew I had to take him. Would not recommend to skip class bc the problems in lectures are similar to the tests. He is approachable if you have any doubts and also had excellent tutors that assisted us if we needed extra help.

Amazing Professor! Super organized, clear instructions and expectations, lectures were easy to follow, always answered questions, fair grader. Went above and beyond with finding additional info online to further assist students. I wish all of my professors were even nearly as good!

I had to drop this class, I need to work on my beginning algebra skills before I take this class again. His homework is not a lot and while online you only need to attend on the first day and test days. He is available outside his office hours as well. He responds back quickly and is very helpful. I took this class last semester in person and he was such a chill professor, really understanding, helpful, and clear. He only assigns like 5 exams for the whole semester and gives a bit of homework but it's graded by completion not points.

Professor Yarborough is an awesome professor, nice and approachable. It's not an easy A but he walks you through everything so everyone can pass the class. Assignments and dates for exams are given first day. He gives you lecture material (no books). Practice exam prior exam day! Literally the exam. Do hw, go to class, study hall with him =lab.

Professor Yarborough is great at explaining concepts clearly. Doing the homework and practice tests is key to success. Also, Unstuck ai was super helpful for study prep. Overall, a manageable math course if you put in the work.

I took Professor Yarborough for STATS 300 and he was amazing. His class was very organized, as long as you do your homework and keep up with the material you will be able to pass the class. He offers practice tests before that actual tests, which help prepare you for the real test. He also offers a front and back page of a cheat sheet on the tests.

Yarborough makes math as fun and easy as it could possibly be. Never leaves anyone behind, any questions unanswered, and if he notices someone falling behind he makes it his mission to help them up. He loves nothing more than helping you succeed and talking about math. Insanely passionate about what he teaches, and funny too. One of the best profs!

He is so funny and wants to ensure you understand the concepts and formulas for every problem you encounter.
