Saagh is by far the worst professor in SMU. She acts like she's the head of M.I.T. or something...but in all honesty shes taking a power trip in a intro Math class. I cannot beleive she is still there...I have now dropped her class...twice!

Her teaching is truly heinous. Other professors have said her methods and testing is ridiculous. A Dal prof said he doesn't even make his fourth year math major students do as rigorous a job with question requirements. I am a mature student coming back to university. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS! For one, she's not very nice to her students. She teaches very fast and does not explain/go over how she got to a conclusion. The tutorials are not helpful, I hired a private tutor and still had trouble with the course. Tutor was awesome I highly recommend one for this course.

Saagh is a VERY rude professor. She is the first professor I've ever had that didn't care about her students. If you try to ask a question she'll treat you as if you're stupid. It's impossible to understand the course content without extra help from a tutor or a high school course. Only perk she said upfront that you don't need the textbook.

For a professor at Saint Mary's teaching in a department of professional studies, Milicia has got to be by far the most unprofessional person I have had to deal with. Class after class she fails to teach anything about the subject material which forces me to regularly seek a tutor outside of class, and puts down any student who asks a question.

First interaction with her, I was told it's a "simple yes or no answer", when I took longer than 2 seconds answering. Felt uncomfortable raising my hand for anything. She would frequently make students feel stupid. Answer keys are riddled with mistakes and miscalculations. Her TA's are extremely difficult markers. Often felt sad/discouraged. DON'T

Consider this. When asked what the last test's average was by one student, she said "Something around 59%, but if you get rid of the 15+ outliers under 10%, it would be much higher..." She then focused on one student who scored over 100%. If that many people are failing miserably, and not attending class, it should tell you something. Terrible.....

Stats is the second highest failed course at SMU, and Milica does not make it any easier. I took her summer course and within 3 lectures dropped because she really doesn't connect well with students. She is very pre-occupied and honestly I am surprised she keeps getting offered spots to teach. Take Eric Lee or Vanita Mishra if you have the option.

Maybe it's just me but she looks like she's always holding back the Hulk's rage. It's almost as if she's trying her best not to lash out at you. Makes communication in class a lot harder. Fails to fully explain the content. Has a sense of coldness around her. Not sure why but I'm fairly positive she does NOT like me.

Wasnt even my proffesor for stats and could tell not to take her class. She got mad at me during the exam and accused me of cheating on my cell phone when I used the washroom for less then a minute. A friend of mine with around the same GPA struggled in stats while I succeeded from taking a different prof. Avoid at all costs.

I started stats as a spring course to get ahead, during the second lecture I walked out and dropped the course. I cannot illustrate what a hostile environment she created in the classroom; she put down students who volunteered incorrect answers, used symbols I have never seen in my math career and didn't explain them, really seemed above it all

She's too forward/blunt with student questions (comes across as insulting at times). If you don't know something she deems obvious, she'll belittle you to some varying degree or another. Reads/makes notes off slides (don't expect exam tips/useful questions). Best bet is to get a tutor and read the textbook. Don't ask her about a tutor.

Marked my assignments/tests wrong multiple times, giving me failing grades when I actually passed. I would've failed the class if I hadn't asked her about my marks and gotten them fixed, even then she still gave me lower marks than I should've gotten. Prof Saagh was the worst Stats Professor I could have had. Her lectures were just her assuming everyone knew what she knew, which made it extremely difficult to learn. She doesn't explain the "why" of what she is doing, instead she just does it and then doesn't elaborate. Avoid this Prof at ALL costs, or you'll need to study for hours to keep up.

Awful professor. Can be very rude to students if they do not understand the material right away. Was rude to another student when asking relevant and important questions over email. Each lecture consisted of one to two example problems. Never taught any processes or theory about the subject.

Terrible teacher would get mad if you missed something and asked her to clarify and makes u sound dumb. Tests were not on anything we reviewed in Class she expects you to be able to combine different types of questions without her showing an example prior to in class.

The class material is super easy but she finds a way to make it hard. Shell make a clown out of you if you ask her a question in class. If you show up late shell belittle you. She gives multiple choice questions on tests where there are no right answer(this actually happened more than once and she had to correct 2 questions on the midterm).

I hate to be hard on a professor as they have a lot of stress on their plates. But Milica Saagh is the worst professor I have ever had. Non of her instructions are clear, and she is not fair. During tests she makes you upload a pdf of your hand written work, nothing else. It cant just be a normal file. She has no consideration as well cant teach.

The lectures are on average 30 mins long and recorded where you have to watch through youtube. She does NOT explain clearly, where she gets her numbers and expects you to know the information already. Expect to teach the course to yourself. Gets upset with students who ask questions, no interest in helping you learn. I honestly don't understand why she's a professor, she doesn't seem to like any of the students.

Failure to understand technical difficulties that are out of students' control. Very specific expectations when uploading test documents that are unrealistic when trying to complete under a time constraint. If you don't test well you will likely struggle in this course as grading is made up of a total of 5 or 6 tests.

Horrible at explaining anything at all, if class is cancelled due to a holiday she posts a whole entire lecture even though there's not supposed to be class. Does not care about the students either. Try your absolute hardest to find a different prof as you will have to teach yourself the majority of this course.

Saagh knows her stuff, sure, but she is unable to teach the content. Midterm was nothing like previously assigned assignments, so much so, everyone taking stats this semester got their grades increased. As others have mentioned, don't ask her any questions or she will belittle you. Stay away from her and get your stats credit from another uni.

The worst professor I've ever had. She expects you to understand material that she doesn't teach you. She said in class that material to watch before attending classes will be at maximum 20 minutes, they were 40 minutes, sometimes longer. She has brutal expectations for uploading answers on a test with an unreasonable time constraint. WORST PROF!

Professor is extremely unhelpful and avoidant towards the students. I waited up to a week for a reply on emails and they were all a form of "deal with it". Assignments are long and ZERO extensions are given no matter what. Communicating with this prof in any normal capacity is impossible. She had zero respect for time and efforts. Don't bother.

This teacher has no care for any of her students. She only grades through tests. This term 96% of a students grade was comprised of 6 tests, all totalling 16% and only spanning 70 mins. It is impossible to recover and get a high grade if you have one bad test. She gives no extra credit and believes her 4% on the intro quiz is beyond generous.

Avoid her class if you can. She doesn't care about her students, if you have one bad test it messes you up for the rest of your marks, and she requires you to watch a video before comig to class that she says is only 20 minutes but its closer to 40-60 depending on the content. She doesn't explain things well and expects you to just know it.

She has typos and mistakes in her slideshows all the time and just laughs it off but when a student makes a mistake she gets really passive aggressive. Absolutely don't recommend

Having her as a professor for the second time, she is terrible. She does not provide feedback on any work submitted to her, mocks you for the time you spend on questions, and is unfair with extra time needed for students with learning disabilities.
