Hard class!! she did give the questions beforehand for the test. she's nice but like someone said shes tough. gave ec which added alot of points. Lectures were interesting but maybe too much info.

I really liked her for this class. but she covers a lot of material. She gives you the answer to the short answers before so if you fail you must not be paying attention. Also, she gave me and old book and always answered my email a I was surprised at my grade (in a good way (:

There was 3 exams, review was provided for each where she gave the short answer questions, three 2 page papers as extra credit for your overall grade, one group presentation and a final 5 page journal article review which we didn't have to put in essay format. Reading the text isn't necessary, she gives you slides but you need it to study for test

Professor Miluska was very helpful even though I didn't do good on the first test. She gave lots of extra credit during the semester and her last paper didnt seem that hard

She is a really good professor in my opinion. I've learned so much in this class. Her exams are tough though.

I don't understand her bad ratings. She's brilliant and knows everything about anything so if you want to learn take her. She is also willing to do what she can to help you succeed. Her exams are detailed and she does give work but she is also extremely fair. If you don't do well you have no one to blame but yourself. Would definitely take again.

At first, I thought I wasn't going to do well in this course after reading her extensive syllabus the first day of class. She's a brilliant professor, puts a lot of work into the class and expects the same. Pop quizzes, long review sheet for exam (it helps tremendously though), and you must read the textbook if you want to pass the exams.

I love Milushka so much. She is always willing to help you understand, and help you pass. She knows her information really well and I feel like the way she teaches really sticks. She goes a bit quickly, but if you have the textbook you should be fine. No worries with this professor, she is amazing

She is BRILIANT. Knows her stuff inside out and teaches it well. She cares about her students and is passionate about what she teaches. If you are a serious student who wants to learn then she is for you!!! You need to put in effort but she walks you through and you learn a LOT.

3 tests. One of the first two can be dropped. Pop quizzes that are easy if you read the textbook. Overall great professor.

she is the best!! she makes you read the book for the exam but if you study you ll get desired grade. she reads tonns of journal articles on daily basis and shares with students interesting ones. she LOVES her profession and i havent seen any professor being passionate and caring about her profession and "school system" in general.

If you truly commit yourself to the thing you do, if you are willing to learn, if you want to meet an amazing person - you should take Professor Milushka. At least once in your life you should experience her dedication to the field, to the students, and to the society. Non-comparable person.

If you care about your education, you will love her. You do need to read the book some and definitely show up and participate, but her review sheets are great and she's a good teacher overall. She cares about society as a whole, always has great insight and personal experiences to share. I absolutely adored her as a person truthbetold Ill miss her

Milushka is awesome. She is passionate about what she teaches and cares about her students, her lectures are fun and interesting. (For those who gave her bad ratings, these are lazy students looking to do zero work who feel entitled to an easy A). If you put in the work, you will get the grade you want. Highly recommend!

This professor knows her material and expects you to learn by reading and attending class as long as you do that you will be in good shape, not an easy professor, a good grade is possible with moderate work.

This professor is good at what she does, very knowledgeable, organized etc. All these traits make her a good professor, main point if u want an easy time then this is not your class as u have to put effort and time into it, n if u want to learn (which most of us do not) then take the class.

Colleges need more professors like Milishka! She has very clear set expectations, provides help all the way, and makes attending class somewhat enjoyable (crazy I know), but I actually look forward to the discussions. You will have to put in the work, but you will gain a lot of knowledge and insights. Its worth it!

Milushka is an excellent instructor in most aspects. She makes the class very interesting and you will learn if you take her class. However, the pop quizzes are too difficult and she is VERY nit-picky so don't expect a lot of flexibility with her. Don't take this class if you're looking for an easy A. Take it if you're up for a tough challenge.

I took Milushka for Child Psych + Psych of Aging. She's a tougher grader than most, but she's very straightforward about your grade, and there are many chances to improve. 1/3 tests is dropped, you have a paper worth the same as a test which you can submit to her until you get 100. Just make sure to read the textbook before class in case of a quiz!

At first I was hesitant to take her course due to her ratings, but Im glad I did. Shes very straight forward with what she expects from you so there shouldn't be much confusion. Her exams are the same format so you know what to expect every time. READ READ READ. All the material for the exams comes from lectures and the chapters in the book.

She seems very intimidating at first. YOU MUST READ THE BOOK AND GO TO CLASS. She tries to make lectures engaging. She is VERY clear on what she wants and basically gives u 50/100 points on the test before hand 4 pop quizzes drops Lowest. 3 non cumulative exams drops lowest. Shes fair but you gotta work. Regular semester take her, Winter dont.

She'll make you work for your grade and expects a lot out of her students. Great attitude and very knowledgeable! Not an easy A by any means but you can get one if you work for it. Lectures were tolerable because of her energy. 3 tests, drops lowest grade, same with quizzes, gives opportunities to give drafts in for tests and papers(with feedback).

Milushka is hardcore but she really only expects the best of her students and is very straightforward on grading. I took her for the winter course and it was intense! You need to read the book, but very doable if you put in the work. she drops the lowest of 3 exams & 4 quizzes and you can do drafts for article assignments. Lazy? Find another class

SHE GIVES YOU HALF THE EXAM!! Literally 50 points straight from the review sheet. If you fail, it's simply because you didn't study or look at the review sheet. Her class is not simple (especially during the winter because it's the same course load as a regular semester) but you definitely will learn. I cried a few times. Get the textbook, review!

Milushka is an amazing Professor! Extremely smart, energetic, & engaging. Shes VERY CLEAR on what she expects from her students. SHE GIVES YOU THE EXAM THROUGH THE REVIEW SHEET! If you fail thats on you. Its not an easy A. she defers to the textbook but if you take notes during class youll be fine as well. Those who complain didnt do the work

Professor Charcape is a great professor. She explains everything thoroughly. She gives you a study guide for the exams. She accepts drafts for the papers that way she can give you feedback and you can edit your work before submitting it. All you have to do is put in the work and read the textbook in order to pass!

Get ready to work for your grade. She love what she teaches, provides excellent feedback. She is always available to assist you if you need her. I took this classes during the covid-19. So we had to finish our classes on line. I think the on- line version of the class was a struggle for me, but Professor Milushka was there to guide me through it.

The class is not difficult if you actually study (review sheet is half of the exam word by word. Tests are not even half of the grade tho. She helps if you email her. Dont take if lazy.

A lot of work, more than I'm used to fro other psyc teachers. The class was harder but she was very helpful when I contacted her that's why I'm giving her that score. I worked really hard for my grade and proud of it

Hand in the write-ups and drafts. I did bad on the tests and still got a good grade. You have to read the syllabus DONW TO THE LAST WORD. She just expects you to do the work and follow thru,

She expects you to act like a college student. Exams, papers, presentations, quizzes, and participation all have to be done. I took it in person and she was kind but covered a lot of topics quickly. I think people are just used to Easy A's. If you get a bad grade, you didn't try to do drafts or talk to her. Also - no extra credit.

I have had her for child psyc and social psyc. Taking her again this fall (online for aging.). The way she teaches is always the same, writeups, quizzes, exams, paper, and presentation. I like it bcuz it allows you to get used to it and she's always willing to help. I got an A both times. She was hardcore and didn't allow excuses.

DO THE WORK. Don't make excuses. At first I was scared by the reviews but noticed she actually wants to teach and students to do what they're supposed to. Drops one exam and one quiz and can write drafts for the journal club.

I took this class bcuz I want a gero degree - post-bacc. it was alot of work. I did not expect it but I actually liked it. Learned alot from the lecture and it forced me to read all the chapters. Feel good and prepared for gradwork.

I thought she was great and her video lectures were entertaining. I also didn't think the class was that difficult - maybe for people who can't think or spell lol - do your work you'll be fine

EVERYONE SHOULD TAKE THIS CLASS. We discussed everything; racism, violence, love, convincing people. It taught me about all aspects of life!! The topics were never boring and I looked fwd to the class on T&Th. TAKE IT!! This was my first class with Milushka and she was knowledgeable and smart.

Clear and didn't change any assignments from the beginning. Tests are the same thing all 3 times. I got 96 on the paper by just writing a draft. plan ahead.

Bc she recorded everything I was able to watch whenever. I skipped the final exam bc I asked her for my grade and she said that I had a 91 avergae. I liked that bc I am taking other harder classes. grades not up yet but feel good about the class. learned a lot.

Great lectures and clear expectations. The syllabus is long but actually helpful. The Prof followed all of the due dates and we met online when I asked. I'm glad I didn't drop it because of some reviews! Totally doable. I'm registered for her Spring 2021 class on tests.

I studied and got a good grade. tbh the class is not nearly as hard as some people make it seem I think they're just use to profs who literally teach like hs teachers.

Shes awesome! Everything clear and she makes it so interesting is the BEST!

1 Read the syllabus like it is a contract 2 Communicate clearly and often 3 Don't BS, she will not like that. Her lectures are clear and to the point, I asked her for her slides after class was done (cannot share) because they will be useful for later.

PLEASE DO NOT let negative reviews discourage you from choosing this professor. She is by far the best professor I've had, no joke! Her lectures were enjoyable and thorough. Wanna pass? UTILIZE HER STUDY GUIDES! She was very considerate and helpful, gave us extra time to take exams and a (paid) extra credit assignment towards our overall average :)

Requiring participation/cameras was annoying but made me focus. She gives little time for tests but also gives a lot of the questions in advance. You can't slack off, you need to take notes/know the material. I wish she was lenient with makeup tests/quizzes, but everything else she did helped me learn more instead of just getting an easy A.

i got a 92 in the journal without giving in a draft - not taking the final because she drops one exam grade. Not sure how much I would trust the last commenter below, she did even put up the grades! Do what you're supposed to do and she will grade you ok. that is it.

I love this professor so much. She is very knowledgeable about her subject area. You simply have to put in the work. I took 2 classes with her and got A+ in both. I'm actually trying to get her for statistics. If you want to actually learn something get her, but if you want an easy A she is not for you.

Professor is very knowledgeable about her field and has so much experience to back up what she knows. When I had external problems and needed flexibility with a project deadline, she was very understanding. She makes her expectations very clear at the beginning of the semester and she is not an easy A. Get ready to put in work outside of class.

This is not a professor you go to if you want an easy A, but this is a great professor. She wants her students to learn. I took two of her courses and received A's in both. I like her courses because she has very clear expectations, and her class isn't easy, but completely manageable if you're willing to put in some work.
