Dr. Tsay is awesome! She makes actually makes COM theory interesting. She's so spunky, adorable and eager to help. She's the kind of professor you want to keep in contact with after you've completed her class.

Dr. Tsay is an incredible professor, whether you are fortunate enough to have her for Theory or Research you should be very pleased! She explains concepts clearly, passionate about what she does and truly cares about her students. Take Dr. Tsay for any COM class you can!!!!

Dr. Tsay's class moves pretty fast but she is a great lecturer and knows how to keep everyone engaged. Sometimes her assignments are a bit vague but she does her best to be helpful. You will surely learn a lot in this class. Her exams are a bit random though.

It's not an easy class and Dr. Tsay encourages you to REALLY think! She is unbelievably helpful, bright, very clear with what she expects, and will challenge you. You need to work hard for an A, but it's possible. You will be satisfied with the class and will not want it to be over!

Although this class moves really fast, and we cover a lot of material, Dr. Tsay is an outstanding professor! She engages us in great discussions for almost 4 hours! The material is challenging, but very interesting. Take theory with her if you can!

This is one of the toughest classes I've had in grad school but it's the best one! Tsay really is the best prof I've had in college! It is nearly impossible to get into her classes. I waited over a year! I would definitely wait to take research with her. I was not at all interested in research but now love it! It's a challenging class but so enjoyable. She has a great sense of humor and is SMART!

Dr. Tsay has an incredible ability to make subjects that could be incredibly dry and boring (communications research and theories of mass communication) interesting. Incredibly passionate about the field and her enthusiasm makes it impossible to fall asleep in class. Even at 9:30 am.

If you have to take Mass Comm Research or Theory, take them with Professor Tsay!! She makes the topic so ridiculously interesting and you will learn so much!! She really is the best, there's just no other way to put it. If you go to class, study her amazing PowerPoints for the tests, and do a good job on the research project, it's an A.

This is a tough class and Dr. Tsay has high demands for critical thinking and analysis of communication theories, but it is definitely one of my favorite classes I've had in grad school. She is so smart and can teach theories that would normally be dry and make them really interesting. Readings can be challenging but she explains the concepts well.

Dr. Tsay-Vogel may be one of the best professors I've had at Boston University. She is the most helpful professor ever. She makes sure that all of her students are well-taken care of and regularly sends you e-mails, reminding you of upcoming assignments and extra credit opportunities. Truly one of the nicest people around.

Professor TV genuinely loves teaching and is superb! This was definitely challenging as a summer class but after taking it, I have a whole new appreciation for research. You will learn a lot about how to properly conduct a research study and analyze data. The class project is very interesting and she is always available to help outside of class.

Dr. TV is easily the best professor I've ever had in the College of Communications. The class is what you put into it-- if you make an effort to participate in her class, you will build a good relationship with her and she will definitely be forgiving when it comes to grades. There is SO much extra credit and the quizzes are mad easy.
