This professor is young, but she teaches well. Class discussions are always interesting and fun. Class participation is a must. The only stress in this class is the term paper so prepare for that early. I got a B in this class-Very fair professor.

We had several tests, a research paper, and a project to do for the class. Though she may appear to be our age, she knows her stuff. I would take her class all over again if I had to.

She was great. The class was a bit over whelming towards the end, but she explains everything very clearly. Read the book and go over your notes, her test are not very easy. She requires everything be sent online, she doesnt collect any papers. But over all her class was a great experience. If your not scared of a challenge defitnately take it.

Put it this way...I wish I could take this class over and over. She presents the subject clearly and makes the class interesting. She's the BEST!!!!!Because of I thought of a career in Psychology but would love nursing too much but it's 2nd on my list in case of anything.

If you seriously want to learn teh subject, then this class might be a waste of time because she gets off topic way too much and you end up having to read the book so that you can pass the test. She's very sweet and nice but can be annoying at time. The book for her class is ONLY useful for the tests. She barely teaches about whats on the test, so you must be able to read the book before taking the test. If you can learn by your self then go for it. She's not that bad.

Awesome teacher! she's super helpful. There's never a dull day in her class. you barely use paper, assignments and tests are done online. the only way to fail is to not show up and not do the assigments. her lectures are clear. we don't use the book in class but you do need it to study for the tests. take the class you won't regret it!

Minca is a wonderful professor. Human Sexuality was a really fun class with her; however, read the book. Her exams were about 40 questions and they were online. Those exams aren't easy.

Professor Davis is real cool. She like to have classroom discussion. The discussion are really interesting. The only thing is you have to make sure you read the book for the test cuz dey are really tricky. Plus pay attention to the small detail.

I've taken two classes with Dr. Davis-Brantley and most of you are right the class does go off on a tangent at times, but it definitely adds to the overall experience of the class. This is the first class I have taken at Miami Dade where it actually feels like a college level class, where debate and interaction is encouraged.

I took intro to psych and abnormal psych with her and she was AMAZING. One of the best teachers in all of MDC. Her classes fill up quick for this reason. You must read the book to answer tests questions and her tests are online and are usually due at the end of whatever weekend it is.Her classes are extremly fun and energetic.

Took this class online with her. If you have a problem she will email back right away. Lessons are easy and sometimes fun. Only thing is that if your taking the class online you must read every page of every chapter to get an A on the test. No other way!!

Took online. Not easy an A, but u can pass. Powerpoints are useless, u'll need the book. First 3 exams are tough, rest get easier. To pass exam, u need to read/skim thru chapter(s), have basic understanding of the concepts, n take exam immediately after. Very generous on the discussion grades, just put in effort. My toughest of 3 class. Got an A.

This teacher is great, she answer e-mails super fast and try to help you and make the online course super active and fun. I definitely recommend her as a teacher. She loves teaching and helping.

She is very fair with her grading. I took her online course and she does count participation in her final grading but as long as you log in and read the work and watch the videos, you are good.

What a great teacher! She's still young and alert meaning she knows how to teach effectively. You must study for her class, she asks more than the simple "What is this?" questions on her exams. Great experience with her and would definitely recommend her to all psych majors.

I looooved this professor. She is amazing! She is beyond clear on her expectations of the course. Quizzes and Exams are very fair. Midterm was proctored and Final Online. You read your chapters and do your homework, you will pass with an easy A or B if you do not do the extra credit.

Dr Brantley rocks!! Had her for 3 semesters and was amazing to have her. When you have questions she will answer. She really likes to explain things until you get them so there is no way you shouldn't be able to understand this professor. On a more personal level, she is fun, caring and wants you to pass... you can't really ask her for more!

Great professor! Very clear with all assignments! Participation matters. Fair grader. You need the text book and you have to work for your grade. She does give extra credit. If you show up and do the work you'll pass.

Professor Brantley is inspiring and kind. She is everything I've ever wanted in a psychology professor. Her lectures are enriching and powerful. Even on my worst days, her class time brought me laughter and joy. I would not have wanted another experience. She sheds light on many sensitive topics and broadens your horizons like no one else.

Amazing teaching and her lectures are very informative... Her tests are not a walk in the park but if you study and find it interesting, I think you should be okay.

Dr Brantley is a great professor. She is pretty much non-existent but answers emails quickly. Her online class is easy to follow. Just read, take quizzes, post on discussion threads and do the reaction paper. Midterm is proctored but final is not. She gives you study guides for both. She is a very nice and interesting professor. Shes had a lot of experience in the psychology field and tries to teach us using slideshow plus personal experiences which is good. this was a hybrid class so i enjoyed it. one lecture day and one online day, not a bad class.

Great teacher. Very interesting subject. Only down fall was that it was only a one day a week class. Wish I could of had more days of this class. There was also events we went to outside of class that dealt with the chapter we were on. She's the right professor for this class.

One of my first online classes. She is extremely organized and gives you a timeline for assignments. 5 quizes, midterm, final, and a research paper. 2 extra credit assignments. It's online so professors are pretty much non-existent, but you do have to participate in online discussions with classmates. Definitely recommend her and this class online.

this teacher is amazing! she is a gem! shes beautiful and very very responsible with her work. she gives good feedback and her grading criteria is given clearly through out the semester. i recommend! she gives the minimum homework and one group project. also makes the subject insteresting and tries the best to bring up discussion!

Best professor ever! Her class is so entertaining that you wont fall asleep you can ask her as many questions and she'll answer them all. I would hate when she would have to cancel class bc I would look forward to go. The class is super easy all you have to do is her online assignments and quizzes are online and no final. You'll love her.

You can not fail this class unless you don't show up. class is very easy, weekly assignments on blackboard and attendance does count. you get 3 absents. she is not boring, you will actually learn in her class and she is cool/funny when lecturing. easy A! take her!

Took this as a 6 week online class. She is very organized and ensures that everything is clear. 5 quizzes, discussions weekly, midterm is proctored consisting of 50 questions. Final is a home test, non-proctored, 1 reaction paper. Understanding and accepts late work and offers extra credit. Easy A and one of the easiest online classes I've taken.

This teacher is a 10/10, I would definitely take her class again. I take a blended class and when we meet once a week she gives really good and interesting lectures and gives personal experiences which I find makes the class a lot more interesting. I would definitely recommend taking her class

The first day when you read the syllabus it might look complicated but she posts the assignments on blackboard and gives you a lot of time to work on them. Every week theres 1 or 2 assignments max. Overall I had 4 tests and a final (everything online)..2 group projects & 3 quizzes. I recommend getting the physical book to study for the tests

Gives extra credit, you have to do a 1000 word essay but she's an easy grader. Only hard assignment is the midterm because its proctored but thankfully the final isn't. She gives you plenty of time to do the quizzes and the discussion boards are very simple

Dr. Minca is a real gem! Her lectures are very interesting and she really knows her field of Psychology. I learned so much in her class! The amount of reading we had to do was pretty intense but the material is very interesting so it didn't seem overly tedious. She's very pleasant and easy to talk to. You won't regret taking her.

It's not super easy or super hard to pass. Just read the lessons, do the quizzes and writing assignments, and you'll be fine. There's a proctored final.

I had her for an online class. She was great. Although when I emailed her, it took so long for a response. But overall her class is about taking chapter tests, a proctored midterm, a paper, discussion questions, and a non-proctored exam. She is very nice and helpful.

Dr. Brantley was a great teacher. She was interactive and her assignments were not hard. She was relatable and an easygoing person. The class is not hard just submit assignments on time and attend the zoom meetings.
