Her tests consist of multiple choice and True False, so be sure to study because they're not that easy. BUT...there is hope! Go to class EVERYDAY to get extra credit. If she still allows you to present articles for extra credit, then I suggest you do this!

Very nice teacher, teaches well, class lectures don't always cover everything on tests, but if you try your best in the class and do the extra credit you will do just fine in the class. She ranks as my number 3 favorite teacher at SUSCC.

Mrs. Reynolds is GREAT!!! I had her for an 8 am class, but still loved every minute of it. She makes history interesting. She is also VERY NICE and helpful. I think you will enjoy her class.

She is very fun and relates to things that go on in students life. Gives bonus points for attendance and gives out easy one-page papers to write for extra points. You have to study for tests, but she is not a hard teacher at all.

Very nice. Uses powerpoints during class. Gives out a study guide for test. Go to EVERY class cause she plays video clips (& wont tell you when) & they'll be on the test. the survey project is easy. let's you bring in current events about sociology for extra credit.

LOVE her!! very good teacher, explains well. study guide for each test you need the book on the final to read stories you dont go over, no more survey project its a paper on questions she asks about a book she chooses you to read. Extra points everyday, extra points on tests READ THE DIRECTIONS ON EVERYTHING!!!

She stays on schedule and is very easy. She is UBER right winged and you can tell, she is not nuetral when it comes to class discussions on controversial issues. If you take a "left" point of view, you can hardly talk in that class between her and the majority of the class, which annoyed me. If all you want out of this class is an easy A you got it

Mrs. Reynolds was a very nice lady with good morals that she liked to teach in class. If you go to class, take good notes with the "real life" examples she provides with each term and movie clips she plays, study for the vocab quizzes and tests you'll be fine! Bring in current issues!! Understanding if absent and obviously a die heart Republican:)

I am currently taking Mrs. Reynolds' class, and I believe that she is the best possible choice for Intro. to Sociology. She tells you what to write down and gives you real world examples to help you understand the material. The first test was tricky, but they get easier as you progress, because you'll know what to study. Very good class!

I had Mrs. Reynolds for Intro. to Sociology and she is a very good teacher. You must take good notes and pay attention to the video clips, as they will be on the test. Her tests are a little bit difficult, but you have an opportunity for 35 bonus points. Her final exam is the easiest test. Take her!

She's got spunk. She gives out bonus points like candy. Notes can be lengthy, but she knows how to keep your attention so no complaints. She puts a lot of attention on the intimate relationships behind historical figures, but unless you just prefer a militaristic perspective on history I think you'll actually be intrigued by that particular focus.

LOVE HER!! I think she is so sweet! She actually WANTS you to pass her class and will help you in any way possible. She gives bonus points and every opportunity to pass. If you fail her class, it's because you either didn't care or just failed to show up because it's practically impossible to fail. Take her, you will learn something! :)

Easiest class I've ever taken. She gives bonus points for breathing. If you don't make an A then you have major issues that you should probably reevaluate before continuing on your college career.

I took Mrs. Reynolds for HIS 101, HIS 102, and SOC 200. She is the best teacher I have EVER had. I looked forward to her class every day! She is very helpful, and her tests come straight from the notes she gives you. She really loves her job and cares about her students. Her class was the highlight of my dreary existence at SUSCC. TAKE HER!

Mrs. Reynolds sets the bar for every instructor at SUSCC. That said, her History and Sociology tests are night and day different from each other and she injects humor as well as "all of the following are truse/false except...A, B, C, D and E - All of the above are true" HIS Powerpoint are her own; SOC are from the book. She's a hoot!!!

Probably the best instructer I have had. She wants you to get and and gives you EVERY possible chance to make a good grade. You would have to try to fail in her class. You will leave informed and entertained. Very sweet, professional lady. A true Southern Belle! Only bad thing is she doesn't teach more classes in other subjets!

Some classes you can't wait for it to end; this one, you will hate to see end. Probably the best instructor I have been under thus far. She gives you every opportunity to make a good grade and learn the material. Bonus points for attendance and current events. Never a dull moment in her class. If you do not take her, you are missing a treat.

Mrs. Reynolds is a very sweet teacher. Her tests can often be hard because of how she sets up the questions. Rewriting the notes and learning them in order help a ton! She gives a ton of extra credit- take advantage of it!! Your hand will hurt so bad by the end of class but its worth it! You should definitely take her.

She was a great and fun teacher. She is very engaging and sweet. He class is easy you just need to take notes and read over them a few times before the test. She does give out one big project but all the history teachers does. I think her project is the easiest. I would highly recommend taking her class if you can.

I took Mrs Reynolds for His 101 & 102. She was great. Gives a lot of bonus points. Her pop quizzes are open notes so they are an easy grade boaster. Definitely recommend taking her for Western Civ

She is a very friendly teacher but gets off topic a lot. She rambles but gives a lot of examples that makes the class easy to understand. This class definitely requires applying the material you learn which is the only reason I personally found it difficult. She gives A LOT of bonus points and opportunities so definitely take advantage!!

Amazing class and the lectures are not boring. You will have a vocab quiz for each section right after you start but you know ahead of time and you will need the textbook. The class is lecture heavy but she makes sure to let you know exactly what will be on the test. A lot of opportunities for bonus.

Gives you pop quiz but you can use your notes. The tests are heavy, but you won't pass if you don't know the content. Took her for Western Civ. 101. Lectures are heavy but she tries to help you understand the content. You don't want to miss a day or you will be lost for the rest of the unit she is teaching. I seriously loved Mrs. Reynolds!! She was so funny and kept you awake during lectures. Her tests were a lot of material but she gives you literally everything on the study guide that you'll need for the test. I would definitely take her again if given the opportunity!

Hands down Mindy Reynolds will be my favorite professor at Southern Union, she makes the class incredible and very engaging. She gives out bonus like crazy, creates a very welcoming class room for questions and quick to respond back to emails. Don't skipping class because it is a lot of information to take it, but 10/10 recommend Mrs. Reynolds!

Mrs. Reynolds was an amazing teacher. She made the class easy and simple. She prepared lecture notes and gave clear precise study guides. If you put in the effort it is an easy class. She was easy to get a hold of and was very kind.

She gives you the pdf of the textbook! The work in class was a reflection of the exams. The class was extremely easy!! She gives a lot of assignments to boost your grades if you slacked. No possible way you can fail this class. I would definitely take this class again!

10/10 highly recommend! Super sweet, goes above & beyond to be sure you understand the material, & gives extra credit. Videos, recorded lectures, & the book are used to explain material. Study for tests and quizzes to pass. The study sessions for tests are very helpful. Overall, a GREAT teacher! If you don't like her, it's because you're lazy.

Class was easy and she is very helpful! Didnt assign any heavy work either. She provided outlines that would let you know what to study/read back over in order to do well on the test. If you make a bad grade in her class, its because you were the one slacking!

Super nice professor. I'm not a fan of history but she made some of it interesting. Not much bonus opportunity but test aren't terribly hard if you study your notes from class and look over the study guides - notes are very similar to test questions. Test are weighted heavy so you cant slack on any test if you want an A.

Professor Reynolds is a great professor! If you apply yourself and do the work you will easily get at least a B. Her multiple choice on the test can be tricky sometimes. She does lots of easy quizzes. If your tests aren't great, the quizzes and essays will save you! She allows ONE make-up quiz and ONE make-up exam if you were absent.

If you listen in class and study, you will be fine. She is very very sweet and generous. Would defiantly take her again.

Ms. Reynolds is one of the greatest professors at SU. The lectures are always great and she speaks clearly with power-points that assist well for taking notes. As long as you do the homework and study for exams getting an A will be really easy. There is a textbook but I got away just fine without it since everything you need is taught in class.
