I hate this Lady. She is the stupidest person I have ever met. She is the worst teacher I have ever had. She does not have a clue about what she is doing. She gives us a butload of work and does not explain how to do it. Also it is only a 2 credit class and she will keep you in class for 3 hours.

I took her online nutrition class. It took her forever to answer an email! She is VERY unorganized. I got an A for the course, but it was only due to us students helping eachother out, because she surely didn't!

She is useless and ignorant, had to take her class to keep status.I could've corrected her so many times on physiology, but kept my mouth shut. She did get corrected on other thigs though, it was all I could do not to laugh... She choses ppl to pick on and likes the ones who she can relate;) lots of papers for 1 cr? Don't take her!

Absolutely aweful. I was warned by several of her former students before taking her class that she is completely unreasonable and difficult to communicate with - I should have listened. I took her class online - she has no idea how to use the Blackboard system correctly and students are held responsible for her shortcomings. Run the other way!

This is the worst teacher I've ever taken a class with. Literally. I've taken lots of online classes before but not with such a confusing, rediculous teacher. The syllabus is crazy long but doesn't include any helpful information...like when assignments are due! And she's such an unfair grader - taking points off for the dumbest crap!

Very disorganized. Received many zero's due to her mistakes in multiple direction forms given out. Do not dispute any of your grades cause it will get you nowhere and you will see decline in grade with doing so.Not gordon rule class but have to write over 27 pages. USELESS class. DO NOT TAKE!!!

Too the online class, worst class ever been in. She has extremely high expectations. Marks you off for stuff that you did exactly the way she said. Take FOREVER to reply to emails and when she does it's rude and short or unclear. She expects you to read her mind and know how to do everything without any explanations of how to do so. HORRIBLE CLASS!

A poor excuse for a teacher. She is completely disorganized. She grades on a scale that was used back in 1987 so beware that you have to receive a 94% to get an A. She is very unclear in her directions and you never know what she is looking for with the papers you have to write. Beware that you are required to write many papers for no good reason.

I am currently in her online class. Having MAJOR issues with her projects, due to how out-dated they are (sites no longer work properly). All e-mails are responded on the next business day at 8am (not weekends) and they are generally too brief to understand what to do. Also the workload is INSANE! only take if you NEED this class.

She will tell you that you are failing her class, and when you drop it she will tell you that you had an A all along. Do not take her, she is beyond the worst teacher ever!

You don't have many choices with regard to who you can take Human Nutrition at LSCC. My BEST advice to you is to just take it at ANOTHER college. Seriously, even if you have to take it distance via Seminole or UCF or ANYONE else. This instructor is just plain horrible. She sets traps up and waits for you to fall in. Low quality hack.

TERRIBLE Teacher! Not helpful AT ALL! I had a problem with my book and access code, all she told me was the withdrawl date! HELP ME, not try to get rid of me! She hardly responds back and NEVER answers e-mail during the weekend. Tests and modules are so long and difficult that I could barely finish! NEVER get this teacher!

Grades unfairly, doesn't explain what is wrong with your work. Hard to understand, when you check the rubric for grading information there is a lot of things not listed in the instructions!

TAKE THIS AT ANOTHER COLLEGE!!! This is the worst professor I have ever taken. I have taken classes at FSU, UCF, and Seminole State (I currently have my BA, and an working toward an RN). She is absolutely incomprehensible. When I get a bad grade, I don't know what I did to deserve. When I get a good grade, I still don't know how I did that.

I had her on campus in class. So many assignments! She was very disorganized and it just wasn't a fun or interesting class. Only good thing was she made the final exam a workout, the whole class goes to the gym and you get the points! I wouldn't recommend her AT ALL however.

Haugabrooks was by far the most unorganized and discourteous professor I have ever had. She takes forever to respond back to emails, and than answers multiple questions in one sentence. She waited until after I took my final to input grades from three weeks prior. I do not recommend this teacher at all.

AWEFUL teacher!!!!! I have never had a problem with any other teachers before in my life, but she made things HARD when they didnt have to be. She is useless as far as help goes, and she takes off points for reasons she doesnt explain. I had to fight for EVERY SINGLE point in this class and barely made an A. Dont take her is all I can say.

Who ever said that she was easy and responds to emails promptly and knowledgeable is lying. She takes off points for reasons unknown, she doesn't keep up with grading the homework and discussions, and she gives us work that doesn't have anything to do with the course at all. Bottom line is read the reviews first and DO NOT TAKE HER!

HORRIBLE!!!! Believe what you read here on these posts. This professor is disorganized, unfriendly, and has very poor communication skills. After many failed attempts at having her check for work that I turned in via computer upload, I finally had to email the Dean of students, TWICE! Needless to say I received an A, but it was a trying experience.

This was my worst experience with a teacher, ever. She changed assignment due dates online without telling anyone. Sometimes it took her four days to answer her emails. It would take weeks to grade assignments even if you need to know you're doing them right to do another similar assignment. She doesn't seem like she cares. Wouldn't recommend!!!!

AWFUL. Makes NO sense. Lots of busy work. Assignments are a guessing game. Very often there are several due dates- when you message her to ask which due date is correct, she takes 5 days to respond, typically too late. One of the worst professors at LSSC. I didn't want to drive 45 minutes to South Lake to take another teacher, but I should have.

One of the worse professors I have takes thus far. She does NOT respond to emails in a timely manner. Gives more work then is humanly possible to do in the time frame given. Lastly the grading system does not make sense.

I would not recommend this teacher to anyone. She gives a ton of busy work, and does not give good feedback. She is very difficult to get in touch with, and her instructions for assignments are very vague.

Extremely slow to grade assignments. Bad about answering questions. Does offer extra credit worth quite a few points. In the online class we have group projects! She gives quite a bit of work, but not really overwhelmingly so. Chapter must be read and discussion written by Wednesday, it would be less of a time crunch if it were due Friday.

Worst teacher ever! Do not recommend at all she takes points off for every little thing and does not make her grading criteria clear.

The worst class I've ever taken in my life. This professor is so unrealistic. This class needs to be taken by itself with no other classes on your course load. I don't recommend having a job either. She doesn't respond to emails. Her criteria is NOT clear & she takes off points for EVRYTHING regardless if she told you it needed to be done that way.

If you're going to take her class. make sure you're only taking one class with her during a semester. Unrealistic with loads of work and assignment she assigned. Would not be considerate if you're a working student. Very strict with her format. Make sure you follow strict APA format or she will hit with you a low grade.

My greatest advice is to steer clear of taking a class under this professor. The grading guidelines are unreal. Things that can damn your grade aren't returned until a week - week and a half later and there is nothing you can do to change these damning projects she puts on you. I hated taking nutrition with her. It was all online, yet we had to do group projects. There are discussion posts due every week with 2 replies to other posts. She is very nit-picky with grading those discussions/replies. You have to do several papers, but she literally lays out what should be on each page.

I took her Nutrition with Diet therapy class and I completely regret taking this class. She assigns a Final Group Project for an online class (ridiculous) and she failed my group and I with a 55 grade on a completed project. She started with "Nicely done" and said we did not give explanatory notes on an introductory slide. She grades ridiculously

The professor gives us pages in the textbooks to answer the discussion posts but they're the WRONG pages. I reread sections in case I miss the info and waste time, then find the info in the book 2-3 sections ahead. The PDF have errors so if you do your assignments on the last night, you're screwed unless you emailed her 2 days ahead to get the PDF.

Never answers emails, creates quizzes with vague answers and then marks you wrong for not wording responses *exactly* how she wants them, forces a group project that you will get a zero on if you do all the work yourself, assigns *a lot* of homework. Also, make sure you cite EVERYTHING in APA format. 100 points from Gryffindor if you don't!

If you can take Nutrition and diet therapy with another professor, please do! Assigns an awful amount of assignments each week and an online group project that is extremely tedious. A very tough grader and will take off points for every thing you do, even if you do it the way she asked. When messaging her, she takes forever to respond. Never again!

RUN. Run far, far away. This professor is the kind of teacher that says, "There are no 100s; There's always room for improvement". She assigns an ONLINE group project that stretches through the entire semester and grades extremely harshly. You will not receive a 20/20 on discussions. An A is out of the picture with this lady.

Pessimistic, Rude, condescending. No such thing as a 100 or 20/20. Heaven forbid she gives extra credit and you worked for a 25 out of 20. If you care about a 3.5 GPA avoid this person, she is not an accepting person, she is judgemental and personally I think she is really mean. This industry of peoples futures is wrong for her.

If I were you I wouldnt take this class. She grades harshly and when asked for extra credit only provides one assignment for the entire semester. Also syllabus lacks clarity. She assigns a group project with an online class which is almost impossible and when told the classmates refuse to work with you she does nothing and has an attitude .. BEWARE

Be prepared to email her after every assignment as the answers are marked incorrect when the answer key says correct. The group project is also impossible and will weigh heavy on your grade. The work load for this course is light.

If you need help, don't bother emailing.. its a waste of your time. This professor has no interest in helping you in the slightest; they are super disrespectuful and pompous. They take forever to grade and almost all of it is lazy grading. I warn every person that takes this course to NOT take it with this prof.

RUN! Please. Take it with someone else or somewhere else. This is literally the only bad review I have ever given if that helps. I took this class literally 2 years ago and to this day she is the WORST professor I have ever had, and I am in my Masters Program now. PLEASE.... RUN as fast as you can.

It's an online class but she doesn't know how to use computers. I stopped attending the Zoom meetings cause she goes overs materials from over a week ago. Puts practice tests as required grades which will mess you up if you didn't notice like me. Take another course if you can and for medical majors God bless you.

Overall she had very easy tests and her papers were a pain to write but she would just slap a 100 on all of mine. The group projects were my definition of hell. There were no clear outlines for specific aspects and she wants it done exactly the way she would. It was a pretty easy A but I would not recommend taking if you don't have to.

Very hard to get communication, even though it was an online course and emails are vital. Would remove points for things that were correct, and when asked about she would be like "oh you're right" but then still not give the points back so it was a consistent failure. The school makes it exponentially hard for a refund even with proper evidence...

I am currently in my first semester of college, and she isn't making this new experience any easier. Online group projects are a grade; she is very vague with instructions; if you do more work then what you are supposed to you get points taken off. By far one of the most detached, vague, and antisocial professors Ive seen, and I just started.
