Very Helpful professor. I recommend anyone who wants to learn with ease, to take her. she's understanding, but you must come to class everyday. She walks around to make sure everyone is on track. She learned math from India & the way she teaches is step by step. So students are able to pick it up as the problem gets bigger.

I took her from 0308-1314, made all A's.. the only thing i can say is that i recommend her for intermediate classes only, shes ok for college algebra but i struggled to get my A+, if ur not gud n math i don recommend her for 1314 bcuz she teaches very fast n u hav 2 keep up wit her.

She makes math easy although she goes a little bit fast sometimes. If you study what she teach in the class at home, you should at least get a "B". She breaks down most details for students. You don't need the textbook. The only thing you need is to understand all the questions in the class because she only tests students those questions.

Had her an 8 week class. Yea she did go a lil fast but duh its an 8 WEEK COURSE! On the upside I LOVE her teaching methods. She really puts it in a way u can understand. If ur confused or dont understand something, ASK!!! Shell explain it to u until u get it! Shes the kinda prof that really wants you to succeed, u just hav 2 put forth the effort!!!

OMG I HATE MATH! I dreaded taking this class but I needed a refresher before I took the reg col alg. She really taught it on a level everyone could understand. She will help u in any way so u can pass. Just make sure u do the hmwk and quizzes (u get 3-4 attempts: and WRITE DOWN THE ?'s just in case u have to retake it for a better score). A++ prof!

I suck at math. Passed with a C. Since it was taken online there was alot I had no interaction with the prof. The material is not easy. I hired a tutor just to pass. So as you can see you will need to work for it.

She is a great teacher! she cares for her students as well. show up to class in time, study, and you'll do well. I really suck in math, and with her I received an A while taking her in the summer! gives extra points but you have to earn them.

Let's be honest here. College algebra is a hard class. But if I have take it with anybody I would pick Ms. Mathew in a heartbeat! If you actually care about doing well in the class and you do your work, she will help you every step of the way. She has a slight accent but is understandable, and will will slow down if you ask her. Amazing teacher!!!

This is my second time taking Professor Mathews and she is the best!! You will have to work for your grade but if she sees you working hard she will def. help as much as she can. Difficult concepts are so easy to understand with her! Def. recommend taking her! She recommends not taking the online class since it is self taught.

Mrs. Mathew explains math in a way everyone can actually understand. She loves to answer questions and doubts which was very helpful in the course. Extra credit is given and the homework is long but its worth it! She helped me understand math, pass with an A and gave me the confidence to believe in myself.

She has a different way of teaching that makes it easier. When it comes to homework it is a lot but it helps you for when the exam. Also study a lot for the exams because they are hard. Overall she is a great teacher, if you ever have a questions or have doubts she is always willing to help you.

This is the best class I have ever taken until now. I did not want to miss any of her class because her teaching style impressed me so much. However, you have to work hard to pass. Homework is much, but it does help you with your exams. She is really easy, passionate, and care about her students. If she taught higher class, I would find her first.

I was a little leery about taking math online because math in general in hard. But if you are determined to succeed in this class, here are a few tips; do the homework assignments in mymathlab, use your textbook, and do the review before each exam. Professor Mathew response quickly to emails and helps as much as possible. SELF-TAUGHT, HARD WORK!!!

I took an online class. Need to do homework on Pearson. Some problems need to read many times and memorize the formula. The more you practice/do more exercises, the higher grade you get. Practice makes perfect. Test 1 and final must be on campus, the others are online. I do think this class is easy A

She is a good teacher. I understand her very well. But, there are lots of homework to do. I got this class on summer and got A but lots of work.

Best Professor ever! She helps out a lot, i she sees you're confused, she will help. Don't be scared to ask questions! Her tests are easy! Textbook is not necessary however, you will need the mylabit access code. What she puts on the review, it will be on test. There's no way you could fail her class.

Professor Mathew wants her students to succeed and make good grades. She has good lectures but there's multiple sections taught in one class since there's a lot of material to learn. Due to covid she really hasn't been teaching much, so I've been learning from the online homework. But her in class is very informative.

Prof is good and teaches well. Sometimes makes things more complicated then they need to be. Otherwise pretty normal. Some exams are extra ordinarily tough. 4 Exams, 12 HW / Chapter, 1 Final, gives reviews Qs - they don't help a lot. Practice, Practice, Practice and Don't skip class.

If you know maths, this is an excellent class to take. No fuss no mess just take the quizzes and do the home work and you will get a good grade. There is little flexibility in the class.4 Quiz Exam / 1 Final / HW With every chapter and some extra credit.

Professor Mathew is extremely caring and wants her students to succeed. She is available and responsive through email to help anyone struggling. The reviews for the tests are extra credit and the professor will review any questions that students are struggling with. Highly recommend.

Professor Mini was great. Her lectures were helpful and necessary to pass the course. Her quizzes and exams were very straightforward and some questions even came from the review. But, I got a B because the department makes the final, and it was much more advanced than everything else in the semester. Not professors fault, but definitely unfair.

It's an EASY A!! If you did well in HS Algebra 2, you'll do fine in this class. All materials are provided through ConnectMath, but cost $70-80 to have access (MANDATORY). You learn on your own by completing the homework. Lockdown Browser is required for all exams (about 30 questions). Professor does respond to emails/canvas messages in 24 hours.

Ms. Mini is amazing!! If you know some basic math, then you would not have trouble. She spends extra time explaining in detail if someone doesn't understand. Don't hesitate to ask questions! The way she explains, the math seems very easy.

ONLY take her in person, she admitted that she's significantly harder on her online students. She's actually a really good teacher & always tries her hardest to make sure everyone understands the content. Always do the reviews before exams, questions are identical. If you make a 90 on the hw, she'll bring it up to 100, & will drop lowest test grade

I took her for my prerequisite requirement and she was absolutely amazing. She took the time to answer all questions and explain in a way that showed she cared. She made it clear from the start what she expected of us. She is a tough but fair professor. Attend the classes, do the homework, and you will be good.

I have nothing negative to say about professor Mathew, she's really straightforward about what she expects from students and her tests were simple. I wouldn't recommend her online class to someone who struggles in math because you're basically just teaching yourself with the textbook but the material is not hard at all so its all you need.

Gives extra credit for in class assignments and if you finish homework by a certain due date. Is very helpful with solving and answering questions. Very helpful exam reviews. Taking her for a co-req and it is helping me to understand my pre-req. I would recommend her for help with math.

I love Professor Matthew sooo much!! She's so caring and takes time to try to get to know her students and make sure they comprehend the material.
