Ms. Jose is a breath of fresh air among the dozens of other instructors at GBC...really one of the few who makes it worth coming to class! I had an enjoyable semester in Mechanics because of her. Minu goes out of her way to explain concepts covered in class and is so patient in working with every student who had trouble with the material covered!

Such a versatile instructor! Minu's ability to adapt her way of teaching to the learning styles of different students is amazing! I did really well in the Statics course because of the extra hours she put in for us students working through questions. Wish all teachers were this dedicated.

I recently graduated from the T121 (Design) program. I had the good fortune of having Minu Jose teach myself & several others who were retaking Calculus II in the after-hours program she runs. She is really one of the best, underutilized instructors the college has around. Keep her there - she has immense potential! Pleasure being in her in class.

Huge fan of Ms. Jose's tutorials here. I've spent lots of time there for Fluids. Though she is not the official instructor for the course this term, just getting to spend extra time with her to cover the material (which is definitely not the easiestmost interesting thing in the world) gave so much clarity to the theory covered in class.

Truly a diamond amongst coal. Excellent lecture, extremely fair marker, and went out of her way to help students and ensure that they were learning the material. She delivers difficult material in a way you'll understand. Seeing her name on Stu-View next to a class you've just registered to is pantomime to winning the academic lottery.

I havent met many teachers who would agree to help out students any time they ask. Minu Jose is one of them. She is the most helpful professor I have met at college and really a walking encyclopedia of information. She has amazed us as she is able to answer any question we throw at her from any course. Amazing.

As a student who had never taken high school Physics, I was really dreading taking this Intro to Mechanical Engineering course - only to be surprised by this teacher here. Thanks to her, I scored a 70 on my first test :) Her positivity has motivated me to keep trying. Wonderfully delightful instructor. Would absolutely take a class with her again.

Strongly recommend this prof. She KNOWS her stuff! Ive taken Calculus in high school before but never really got it until this past year. Marks are out and thats proof enough.

Amazing lectures (though I must confess she wasn't even the official assigned instructor that term!) and still, most of our class went to her to learn the concepts. Really appreciate her taking time out of her schedule to work with us!!!!!!!!

She is one of my favorite professors at Gbc and she is very nice. She cares about her students to do well in her class and explains the lectures clearly. She also tells you what to know and expect for the mid term and final exams. As long you follow what she says on the review you'll do good and she's pretty easy on the assignments as well.

Great teacher, just a little slow with posting lectures or practice questions. Bear with her, she's a really good teacher. She will go through each question in the lecture in depth, step by step to make sure you understand the concepts

T121 graduate of the program here. I was just thinking about the instructors I had at George Brown and in university, and I must be honest here. Ms. Jose comes up top in the list of best teachers I've had over the course of my career as an engineer! I feel so privileged I had someone so dedicated and passionate as a teacher. WIsh her all the best!

Took courses with her quite long time back. Good quality teacher always willing to help. Very flexible in accommodating your schedule for tutoring. If you fail the class, its entirely your fault. No doubt about that.

She is definitely a teacher who is always available after class hours. As a newbie to calculus, I really appreciate the countless hours she has spent with me and others. Minu definitely knows her stuff and is one of the most caring and inspiring profs I've met at the college so far.

Minu really cares about her students. This can be seen by how well she prepares for her classes, giving releveant examples and giving weekly handouts to make sure everyone is able to follow the content. I dont think i have ever had a teacher who has gone to this level to make sure I stay on track..

One of the best teachers our class had this term for Calculus. Minu made the classes lively, engaging and relateable. We are all looking forward to having her again for the next part of Calculus.

Enforcing stricter policies while offering outside support could promote fairness, ensuring all students benefit equitably.

You have to try to fail her class because she will do anything to help you pass. She comes to every lecture with a smile on her face. Will do her absolute best to explain anything you don't understand. She's so nice and lovely! A few students including myself missed the homework on MyOpenMath and she opened all of them for everyone.

Best prof for sure!! She's so caring and genuinely wants to help her students. She can be a little forgetful at times but means well. Would love to have her as a prof again.
