If you go to class and follow instructions you will pass this class. Professor Ashworth makes the course interesting even for someone who is not into government or politics.

Her class is my favorite class I have taken at TCC. She takes a topic a lot of people aren't interested in and makes it interesting. Always finds a way to make the material relevant. She is very understanding and gives lots of opportunities for extra credit.

This class is pretty chill and easy; as long as you come to class and do her assignments you will ace it (SHE IS A EASY GRADER!). In addition, she gives out a bunch of extra credit assignments so don't you worry! Her class is consisted of lecturing in class (no homework), quizzes online, a research paper (which is fairly easy) and a final exam.

All I can say is I passed with an A! Come to class , quizzes are online, and she gives you the final exam as a study guide you just have to find the answers by yourself, remember the answers on the test and you pass!!!

This professor was probably one of my favorites at Tallahassee Community College. Though she gave frequent lectures, she was very lenient towards grading as long as you put forth some sort of effort.

I enjoyed this class! There was a lot of discussion in class that opened my eyes to problems/events going on around the world. There were quizzes due each week (all online), a paper, midterm, group project, and final exam. Professor Ashworth, answered to emails immediately and gave extra credit. Definitely take her!

A very knowledgeable professor she knows what she's talking about. Heavy on lecture sounds but they aren't boring. She's a tough grader when it comes to the essays, but other than that it was an overall pretty easy and interesting class.

Personally writing is a challenge so getting an essay outside of an English class wasn't thrilling but it was necessary.

Professor was great, She cares about her students being envolved in different forms of Government and making sure your voice isn't stolen away from someone else. She explains to vital mindset one should have in being invovled in what you believe in, and being able to back to express them in a respectable and suiting manner .

Overall enjoyed this class throughly. The material given was enlightening and loved the way the professor conducted her class to think outside the normal mindset of how someone can view Government. She taught us the vital means to have a voice, and to not view ourselves as just normal citizens but empowered ones.

She is a super relaxed and chill professor. Attendance is only mandatory to be able to get credit for the quizzes. She gives a quiz at the end of each chapter, so you never know when the quiz will be. Midterm was just a compilation of all quizzes taken. She gives study guides for final if the class participated all semester in discussions. Easy.

Professor Ashworth makes sure the class knows what her expectations are; as long as you follow these expectations you will do great in the class. I would recommend to anybody to attend her lectures since most of her pop quizzes and exams are based on them. I would also recommend to read the text (not thoroughly) to accompany what she has taught.

She was an excellent professor who i would absolutely love to have again. I was particularly impressed with her capability to give the reason behind any political opinion, without pushing her own views on us.

Prof. Ashworth was one of my favorite teachers this year. I was excited to come to class, and am ending the class with a high A. She is young and fun and very understanding. If you do the work on time and pay attention to the criteria you will pass with flying colors. I highly recommend you take this class!

Professor Ashworth was a very motivating instructor. She was serious, and honest. She inspired me and made me feel like it is very important to be involved in the government, especially since I will witness the results of my generations and previous generations actions. The class material itself was not demanding at all. The tests are exactly what the study guide was. She doesn't show any bias and will debate both sides of the political view during class discussions. Classes are a little dull because it's nothing but a powerpoint half the time. All in all, she's a fair teacher and it's hard to not get an A.

My biggest tip to passing her class is to just do the Term paper and you'll be alright. Professor Ashworth is a based, intelligent, and very open minded professor who truly wants the best for her students. I recommend taking this course if this is your FOS. Ms.Ashworth made the course feel engaging, which cannot be said for a lot of other professors. If political science is the path you're following, then Prof.Ashworth is for you.

As a teacher, she was very flexible when it came to circumstances and was very respectful. Although the content learned is not necessary difficult, the coursework was extremely tedious and time consuming, mostly taking place on McGraw Hill. The discussion posts were not too bad, but every other assignment was on McGraw Hill.

She is very understanding, when the bookstore was being an absolute nightmare she didn't blame us in the least. There is a LOT of book work but you can get it done if you set the time aside every day. I really enjoyed the discussion posts the movie/podcasts we listened to were VERY enlightening. It was my favorite part.

Although I took her class online, I ca say that i have learned a lot about national government and have enjoyed my experience in the class.

Although we took 19 assessments and 19 tests over the course of a semester the course was self explanatory, as long as you have you textbook you will definitely pass. She gave my course a great deal of time to complete work as well as giving feedback to assignments as needed. The course was the example "the only way you fail is if you do no work".

Professor Ashworth was very patient and understanding of a busy college student's schedule. I took this class while workin a full time job and hardly ever felt stressed. I would definitely recommend her.

This was an online course and the professor allowed for plenty of time to complete the assignments. The grade was 25% discussion boards that were very interesting, 25% podcasts, 20% online quizzes, and the rest were McGraw Hill online assignments. Lots of work, but very doable. For somebody better organized than me, this could be an easy-A course.

Professor Ashworth class is fairly easy, all assignments are open from the very first day of class the assignments that take the longest are the smartbooks but other then that everything else goes by quickly. There are 5 discussion boards over the course of the semester. She's very understanding and very responsive if you need her!
