Professor Palencia made ENGL 100 so much fun! One of the tags I used was "GET READY TO READ" because you will be reading a novel but it's amazing. You will love the book. As for the work just turn in the assignments on time and it's an easy pass.

Its an online course, so if you don't get started on work early it catches up to you later, good class over all and the novel was a good choice, I enjoyed reading it.

Her class is amazing, shes amazing as well despite being an asynchronous class online she manages to explain everything in detail with clarity so us students can complete our assignments. Some of the assignments that are assigned to us were fun such as the dating profile where you basically created a tinder for yourself.

English has always been my hardest subject but taking this class with Mrs. Palencia was a game changer. Her lectures are very clear and all the assignments were interesting and made me enjoy writing. First of all it was sad that I wasnt able to meet the class in person but I loved how she would make class fun and always reminding us for help during tutoring hours. She would give example and alos little voice presentation if you have any problem with the assignment. Over all it was a pleasure having her.

Professor Palenica is an excellent Professor. She takes time to help her students with anything they are confused about. Everything was very clear and well explained. She is very funny. I would take it again and I definitely recommend to others.

Prof. Palencia is easily the best English teacher at Cerritos I would give her a 6/5 if I could. She is caring, understanding, and funny, she even bought us donuts. Class is easy and reasonable with 4 essays and a course-wide journal collected at the end. This class maintains a balance of learning while not being overwhelmed so come to class.

I took Professor Palcencia this spring semester, she has improved my writing skills this year. I truly did enjoy her class, it was easy. It's very hard to fail this class, there are 4 essays, discussion posts, and journal entries throughout her class. She is a very nice and funny professor and gives good feedback on any assignments.

I took Professor Palencia 6- weeks Course For EOPS Summer bridge and loved it! I definitely recommend it and especially if you have a learning disability she explains very well gives you enough time to do your work as well resubmit. It's a fun class she brings donuts and honestly she feels like a friend where you can talk to her about anything.

She was really nice and overall just really good with students. Classes were always something I look forward to after others.

This class was super easy she's is outgoing and very funny she grades pretty easy and not a lot of homework we do most of it in class .

One of my favorite professors at Cerritos. Assignments were clear and very straight forward, also she is very flexible with late work. Cannot recommend her enough!

Professor Palencia is an absolutely great professor. She is excellent at thoroughly explaining the course topics and assignments given. Her grading system is also fair and justified, depending on the quality of the work submitted. Lastly, she also has an amazing personality and is always sharing her funny experiences/stories.

Many small assignments that lead to the next assignments and project. 4 projects. Accepts late work till the end of the semester. Few small reading assignments and makes lectures fun and easy to understand. She is very understanding, funny, interactive, and talkative.

Shes good about attendance as long as you shoot her an email or let her know whats going on but it is mandatory and shes pretty nice and understanding in general. She answers questions about homework, and reminds you about due dates in class which is nice only “complaint” i have is that its hard to work in class if you cant tune out talking.

Super sweet, think of your cool aunt teaching a class. Can talk to her about anything. Very cool about late assignments. We played a game in class as a lesson instead of a long lecture. Super understanding about being late and attendance.
