I took her class during Spring 2005 session, she was pretty easy. Just make sure you hand in your Peachtree assignments. Other than you'll get a A.

This is only a 2 credit course, so she doesn't have any time to teach you anything but the basics. Do NOT buy the newest edition for Peachtree, an older version is the same, but MUCH cheaper. Tests (2 of em) aren't so easy. She gives HW & a project (counts to the final grade). There is no reason why anyone should get lower than an A in this class.

The sweetest and the most generous grader. When it came to the final, she helped everyone in doing the access section of the test which was worth 20% of the final. The project was easy and you have to be stupid not to get a 100. Gives a great review for the midterm and the final. An assignment is given weekly but are very easy. I got an A+ easily!!

She is a great professor, very helpful. Easy A and you will learn from her class.

A very easy A, there is not much more to say. Midterm is easy homeworks take about 5 minuites and Walla theres your grade.

She's pretty good. She teaches quickly and you're really in trouble if you can't retain it immediately. $180 book though, and you NEED it. She's nice too and she tries to be helpful to students. 12 point curve on the midterm. I would recommend her if you are bright and you can learn from the book on your own.

Teaches a bit fast. Overall she has a pleasant demeanor and will help you, if you don't understand the work. Must attend class or you'll be lost. Midterm & Final (multiple choice), not dept final. Grades on a curve, which is needed for acct. Not an easy an easy class. Study hard.

She's very good. Does not take attendace strictly, but if you miss class you'll definetely be lost. Explains questions you dont understand. The book was expensive though. Put some effort and you'll get A.

Isn't Accnt 1 based on departmental exams? How easy can she be??? I don't understand the easy comments for accounting 1. Does she grade on a curve as far as final grade??? I would like to take her in the fall semester, however require some additional info.

AMAZING teacher for accounting 1. if you listen in class, you will definitely do well in the class - its one midterm and one final. She explains everything multiple times.

The best professor in the school. I actually liked going to that class!! She explains everything that you need to know. If you don't understand something she will go over it until you do, THE BEST...and definately the nicest out there!!

She is very sweet and helpful, but you will have to do a lot of studing on your on. But come on, it is a 4-credit class.

she is always late to class, especially if your her first class of the day. shes really nice and explains the software very well. she goes a bit fast at times but just ask her to slow down. dont bothering reading any notes on blackboard cus you dont need them. its a computer class, so just know the programs an youll get an A

Very nice professor. Her reviews and lessons are what the tests are based on. You have to be an idiot or cutting class all the time to fail her class. One of the few good accounting professors at BC. I strongly recommend you to take her for whatever accounting class she teaches.

Very helpful, doesn't bombard you with a lot of work. Should take you less than a hour to complete the homework assignments. One midterm and one non cumulative final. Shes great! take her!

A M AZING!! You can learn the material on your own but she is SOOO SWEET.. If you have a wrong answer on a midterm or final she'll tell you and let you correct or even tell you it!! SHES AWESOME!! I wish she tought every accounting class

i took her for cost accounting (acct7) and accounting info (acct21). she is the best professor these is to be she is really lenient towards your grade helps you in every way. she don't want u to fail at all. she keeps on giving you so many opportunities to make up for the bad grade. SHE IS AWESOME

Take her in the summer for 3051. She is very nice, and helpfull.

I took her for the quickbooks class. She teaches fast so you have to rush to keep up sometimes, but overall she's good. She even helps you during the tests and grades them on the spot after you finish.

If you have basic computer knowledge take her in the summer or winter for 3051. Super easy, you don't even have to attend class. Just do the homework and you'll pull an A no problem. I did.

By far the best Accounting professor in Brooklyn College!!

She is a VERY helpful professor. Come to her with any questions and she will be glad to assist you! Her classes are not so easy if you don't ask for help. I took accounting 2 and Acct. info systems with her and got an A and A+!!!

Honestly, she is a very smart professor... But she struggles teaching. Learn on your own and you'll pass. If you go to her outside of class she is very helpful though. But the classroom is not her niche

Midterm 40, Final 40, Homework 15, Participation 5. Midterm and Final both had a considerable curve. Homework assigned through McGraw Connect which had lots of practice material that helped study for tests. Overall not a hard class at all. Haven't really used the textbook, there were plenty of info in the power points which she posts ahead of time.

Very easy class, but don't expect to learn anything from her. She is always late, disorganized and rushes through the material. Do smart connect HW and read text and you will get an A. Huge curve on the midterm and final which are not even hard to begin with. She shows zero desire to teach, which is a shame.

Perfect intro class to accounting. People that dont do well clearly dont do any work because she holds your hand through the entire course, gives extra time for assignments. Great class for accounting or nonaccounting students. Assignments are online.

Professor Lefkowitz is a nice lady but if you are not an accounting major then the class is very boring. She goes very fast. Homework is online. One midterm and final. She gives extra credit if you ask for it. Gives huge curve. 10 on midterm and 12 on final so it shifts everyone a grade and a half up

Good professor. Gives a nice review before midterm which is almost identical to the test. Class can be very boring but you kinda have to pay attention because she can move fairly quick. A couple homework assignments that easy 100s.

All homework and quizzes are on Connect. Provides "Learn Smart" on Connect which will really help you study. Moves on chapters quick but she will stop to explain if anyone needs help. Reviews everything before the exams. Multiple choice on midterm & final (40% each), 5% on participation & attendance, 15% on Connect.

She is very helpful. Had her for ACCT 2001 as well. She does move quickly but will answer any questions you have, She is very approachable and understanding. She does come late to class though and will keep you pass your class time. She explains things well.

Class can be really boring at this but this is a very easy class. There is, however, a lot of homework that are on connect which takes around 2-3 hours each. The quizzes are also on connect with ten questions.

She is very good and knowledgeable professor, whatever on her HW and Lectures will be on the exams. Also ready to help , she gives useful information which we use at real life work and her class are good for CPA preparation. Her lectures are very interesting.

This might be the best professor I've ever had at BC. She is clear, organized and teaches in a way that anyone could understand. You will definitely learn a lot and begin to question why every professor can't be as good as her. lol Professors like her make BC great.

Prof . Lefkowitz is very knowledgeable about her subject matter and does well to spread that knowledge all around the class room. She is a positive person therefor hopeful to see students succeed. There is work to be done but its not stressful. I very much enjoyed her course. TAKE HER.

This is my second accounting course with Professor Lefkowitz and I got two As. She is truly an amazing teacher and is an excellent professor. You should take her because she will prepare you. It's not the easiest class you'll take because work is required. Make a lot of time to practice and learn. She will teach you accounting to know for life.

Loved this professor! So happy to have taken a class with her, she posts videos on YouTube and BlackBoard and makes things simple to understand. This class requires self study and diligence in completing assignments, but its very worth it! QuickBooks and Excel are great skills to know!

I don't regret taking Leftkowitz for my introduction to accounting. It's not an easy subject but I think this professor taught me more about accounting than both of my intermediate accounting courses combined. She's very generous with practice resources and gives students full access to LearnSmart use. Take advantage of what you have and be an ace.

Good prof, but the fully online section was a mess. Things from previous semesters were all over the place on blackboard, so it was hard to find which videos to watch and which announcements were relevant. The class is super easy if you follow the book exactly and pace yourself well. Dont take if you have a mac tho.

She is one of the BEST professors I ever had. So good that I took another class with her. There is no text book. Everything is done on Connect. Be ready to put in a lot of work but if you do what is expected and you study you can do well. She offers extra credit. If you are expecting this to be an easy class it is far from it but do the work.

Prof. Lefkowitz is a very nice lady. However, the assignments can get a little disorganized. The upside is that she offers reasonable extensions and a lot of extra credit. The lectures are mostly just a quick review and practice, so there's a good amount of studying involved beforehand. "Smartbook" really helps with that. Also, she uses Connect.

Took this professor for ACCT 7109X Financial Statement Analysis. She is clear in her assignments. 10 Chapters with Online Connect homework. 3 exams and gives two attempts if the class does bad. She gives extra credit to help your grade. This professor is super fair and very caring for her students. She wants you to do well. Definitely take her!!

Took her online class, professor takes days to respond to her emails but is lenient with due dates, and the assignments are easy. Take her!

She responds to emails relatively quickly offers help very consistently and the workload is tolerable even for a summer course

She gives a lot of work but she gives you a lot of time to do it.... you have to have time management because she opens everything at the beginning of the semester so you can submit early but if you wait til last minute it will be a lot of work. Easy A if you do all the work she's super lenient. she wants her students to succeed.
