Opportunities to earn extra points on tests/lab reports sometimes (even curves some tests), attend every class/lab, earn more bonus points. Note: Attendance CRUCIAL, miss class a lot, points will be deducted from final grade. Be responsible!

The professor is very helpful. She gives you outline of each chapters and during lecture, you can take extra notes. There are six tests and the lowest test can be dropped. There are three lab quizzes and lowest test score can be dropped. There is no class assignment. The only homework you will get is to do lab reports.

I love Prof St. Clair! She's a bit strict now & then, but it's because of the people in the class who DO NOT study, and DO NOT show up prepared! The questions on her tests (which are all multiple choice) are EXACTLY the ones on the study guide she gives you and also EXACTLY the end of chap ques in book! She also curves grades! AWESOME professor!!

I'm not a fan of science. She's ok in my book. She don't like to answer unnecessary questions during lectures. Study guides are helpful, however, you have to answer the questions on your own. What you see in the study guide, expect to see most of it on the test. She won't answer it for you if you have any questions in the study guide.

Only attendance for lab is required. She's really sweet and does her best to help those falling behind. If you're not meeting her minimum standards in lab she can get annoyed. She treats the class serious since its a prerequisite to the nursing program. Don't try and ask her to bump your grade up. If your a Bio major she will love you.

She's a very sweet teacher! Microbio is not an easy subject to study. She's very fair to her students! Attend class and especially lab! She gives studyguide for the exams.

Miss Miriam is the defintion of a good professor and I really liked her. She had a lot of good but sometimes challenging extra-credit projects that I learned a lot from, not just the old dry case studies or papers. She made it an interesting class and I don't even like bio. I had not trouble making an A but felt I worked for it.

She id a really good teacher and the class isn't hard as long as you try. It takes a lot of memory, but study guides are provided and the test are, straight from it for the most part. You don't really need the textbook, because some study guide questions can be found on google.
