I had an enormous crush on him when I took his math 1A03 five years ago and still could not forget about him. He is really a super star prof, simply magnificent!!! He is a really gentle and kind person too. Love his accent, so so SEXY!

He is amazing!! I actually was disappointed to see his semester end and to never have him as a prof again.

He's an amazing teacher who just cares so much about his students. He makes sure that we understand the material and gives us hints about the up coming tests. He prepares us well and advices us about sleeping and eating well! Our class was ALWAYS packed with students (even for an early morning class)!

He teaches really well (got many teaching awards!) He cares about his students and answers e-mails very quickly. And he's absolutely halirious; if you go to his lectures you will have a blast! I like the way he says "do you understand what I'm saying?" You have to hear him say it.

Lovric had time on his hands, so he mathematically proved to us that vampires don't exist because if they did, they would consume us all in about 32 weeks. That is how awesome and how cool he is! I love lovric, and so does the rest of McMaster!

He is WAYYYYYYYYYY harder than Dr. Alama who taught math 2xx3 last year. Wish Dr. Alama taught math 2x03 and 2XX3 this year!! Would have been so much easier!!!!

he goes extremely slowly throughout the term, and towards the end of the semester when he still has so much to cover, he targets to cover 2 sections per day, which is 4 times his normal speed. That does not make him a great prof!!!!! If he was a great prof, he wouldn't speed through the material in the end, just to get it done. Think about it.

I am not a math student, I detest calculus, and yet I loved the first year ArtSci calculus class I took with Dr. Lovric! He is amazing, passionate, and helpful as a teacher. I have not continued in math, but I appreciate all that Dr. Lovric taught me. Certainly not for the fainthearted, but worth every second if you're willing to work also!

OUTSTANDING proffff

One of the best profs seen till now. As a person he is very nice. Much better then his TA Mehmetcik. The key to doing well in his class is know how to do each and every homework problem that he assigned and memorize the solutions to all the examples he told you to study from the textbook. Exams are very similar to homework problems. Hard to get A+

Amazing professor. I have learnt so much from him. I learnt about logarithms, sketching the graphs of functions, trigonometry etc etc. This stuff was very scary for me before but he taught in a manner that I really understood what's happening behind the scenes. I hope to get atleast A in this course. Best prof for any first year calculus courses.

I had him couple years back. He was really good prof but his TA was so awful, I dont remember his name but he was some guy with a horrible accent and condescending attitude I think he was Turkish guy he's not at McMaster anymore

WHY DOES he ask Definition questions on the test 2? This is a MATH COURSE not an English course where you have to test the student has memorized the definition. Ridiciulous!

Excellent professor. He can answer any first year calculus question, but beyond that he gets into trouble. However, he is very caring. He will cuddle girls whenever they are stressed. Tries to make them feel comfortable around him. That really helps.

If you want to open the doors to your future, take a course taught by this professor. If you want to permanently lock the doors to your future, take Chris McLean's courses. You will know the difference. This prof is quiet fair. He had a really nasty TA once upon a time, but generally speaking his exams are similar to practice problems in the book.

Such a great professor. He really knows his stuff inside out and can solve any math problem you throw at him, on the spot. He is a serious mathematician. He teaches some of the most difficult/challenging courses at McMaster (like math 1LS3, Math 2X03, Math 1A03) These courses are for very high I.Q students. He has very busy schedule. Amazing prof.

Amazing professor. I agree with the previous comments. He teaches very difficult courses. Some of the most challenging courses are taught by Professor Lovric, so he deserves all the prestige and awards that he receives. His courses like Math 1LS3 are more difficult then Real Analysis or Partial Differential Equations. I got A+ from him twice.

Fairly good prof but not as great as Dr. minoo. He should consider minoo as his role model and hone his teaching skills by following minoo's teaching style. He is not as great a mathematician as minoo is.

The textbook Lovric wrote for vector calculus is very bad. It has poor examples. Dr. Minoo is not using the textbook Lovric wrote for Math2X03 because he knows what is better for students. Minoo deserves to get all the hot girls going after him. Girls are wrong in liking Lovric. Minoo is far better looking and has better personality then Lovric.

I agree with most of the previous comments. Dr. Lovric is a good man, but from a fairness perspective, I have to be honest and say Maung Minoo is far more knowledgeable. Lovric is here at Mac today because of Minoo. Lovric should consider Minoo to be his mentor and develop a more live and spontaneous teaching style the way Minoo does it.

Min-Oo is the man. He taught every prof in the math department what he or she knows today, especially Dr Lovric. I really hope Dr Lovric appreciates the man they call Min-Oo.

Unbelievable Prof. He was so amazing. He has this aura and his voice is so so sexy! Love his accent. His tests and exams are totally fair and no surprises. Just do all the practice questions that he assigns and understand them carefully, and you will have no problem getting atleast A- in his course. Sometimes the final can be a little long though.

Dr. Lovric did a great job in both lectures and tutorials. Reflecting on previous comments, I imagine that supervising a graduate course of 10 students would require less expertise than organizing a large first year class where you must recognize and reconcile differences in backgrounds and deliver a course even non-math majors will find valuable.

He is the only teacher I've had that has explained math in a way that made sense to me. He's a fantastic prof -- enrol in his section for sure!

I had him for 2X and 2XX I loved this prof. I nominate him to become the future president of McMaster University. Most intelligent man I have ever seen. Lovric was a very good prof. Although most of the material was high school review, he made the class very interesting to attend. His tests were very reasonable and he cares for the students. This class is an easy 12 if you did well in high school Calculus.

Another prof told me that he is the best teacher of math in the department - that is why they always put him with the first years. He is. Easily the best TEACHER of mathematics. Tests are easy. He said he tested poorly as a student, so he often gives take home tests and many assignments. Stresses heuristic and problem solving - great for math.

Problem Solving was an easy course. Lovric's approach to problem solving makes learning problem solving easy. Great lecturer, learned some cool things, lots of neat tricks which were helpful in other classes. Many assignments. Both tests and the exam were take-home. There was no text book. Great class!

MATH 3G03 is a great class. The assignments are tricky, but very doable and rewarding. Miroslav recognizes students will work together to solve the problems, but definitely take the time to sort out the concepts for your own benefit. The course will give you good intuition for problem solving in mathematics, especially through computer programming.

Lovric is one of the nicest, most wonderful profs I've ever had. He's easy to listen to and really tries to get the concepts across effectively. The class is pretty condensed so if you miss a lecture, you really do fall behind. I highly recommend you go to tutorials aswell, you go through a lot of examples, many similar to the ones on the midterms.

Lovric is the GOAT. He is my favourite professor so far and honestly he cares about all 1000 of his students. I even watched his videos on youtube. I love this guy. Coming out of high school I didn't love math, but he made math interesting to learn. The content is not too difficult, show up to class and tutorials, study well and you'll do fine.

Entire mark is composed of 4 Tests (lowest is dropped though) and an exam. But he makes the tests very doable and the content is never harder than the practice. His lectures are a bit messy and will take some getting used to, but they are pretty effective and if you pay attention and do the work, an A is easy. Also,very nice prof and he's funny too

Best Prof I ever met in my life in university for the following reasons: - test what he taught -provides notes for each lecture - ensure you are prepared for each midterm by giving you good exercise with solutions provided -very easy to listen and follow during lecture -very nice prof many respect -will definitely take any course he teaches

Dr. Lovric is a good professor however he is hard to understand at times. The notes are all hand written and can become quite difficult to comprehend for somebody who did not attend lecture and looked at them after being posted. Do the assignments and all previous tests and exams. Not many grading opportunities so hard to do well.

Honestly, he's a blast to have. Even if the material was dry, I always enjoyed his lectures since he was SO kind and engaging. I hate that his classes have 4 tests, but also thankful that he drops one :') Thank you for being a fair prof who genuinely wants their students to succeed and get a good grade.

Lovric is a really great prof and genuinely cares about his students passing but he can be hard to follow during lectures so his teaching style isn't for everyone. He posts all his lecture notes but they're hard to understand if you don't go to class. Do the assignments and homework!!! A lot of the questions were repeated in the tests

If you follow lectures and tutorials in addition to the homework, there should not be anything that you find challenging! many people simply skip homework that he emphasizes and end up getting low marks. So I would say focus on that!! Funny facts: he sometimes literally talks like the book that he wrote when he wants to explain some concepts LOL!

Dr. Lovric is a funny, well organized, and enthusiastic teacher. It really shows that he cares about math, and teaching. Students from other sections often attended his lectures instead of their assigned ones. The 1LS3 tests are straightforward but long.

Absolutely wonderful professor. Gives great feedback and helps you learn the material by having thorough lectures and answering questions. He is mindful of the difficulty of his course so he tries to help the students along the way. I have taken multiple courses with him and always been satisfied with his teaching and testing methods.

Miroslav is an amazing teacher. I think math teachers in general actually teach at this school. He is very enthusiastic about the content and you can tell he really loves what he does and that energy rubs off on the class. I wish I could take more classes with this guy as the teacher. You wont regret taking this course with this OG as the teacher

This prof does a great job in covering basic programming and equipping you to tackle his practise questions! He is easily accessible outside of class and responses fast to students' questions and cares for them to do good in the course! His 1mp3 tests were easy (as long as you attended class and did practise questions!)

A true ABSOLUTE GEM of a Professor! I (4th year) keep coming back to take classes with him, whether it be calculus, numeracy, or computing. He is so wholesome, caring, and good at teaching (easily become my FAVOURITE PROF AT MAC). You'll enjoy coming to lectures just to catch the positive vibes and wholesomeness. If you practice you'll do well.

Think of a professor so good, so caring, so accommodating, and amazing at teaching that you never want the semester to come to an end. Thats the best description of Dr. Lovric. If you put your end of the work into this course, youll leave doing even better than you anticipated. Dr. Lovric is the Mathematician Grandfather you never knew you needed

Professor Lovric is an excellent prof. I took Math 1MP3 and basically had no computer programming experience and it was great. The tests are stressful b/c they aren't out of much (usually out of 15) but the marking scheme itself is very easy. Your code for a question code return an error but as long as you have the basic stuff, you get full marks.

One of the best profs in the math department. Assignments are easy if you go over the material covered and attend lectures. Tests and the final are relatively easy if you do the practice problems and can remember the syntax and logic required for a problem. Basically, attend lectures and go over the practice problems and you should be good.

Tests and exams are fair and resemble practice problems. Very approachable in office hours for extra help. Useful course content in math numeracy

Professor Lovric is super helpful in office hours. His tests are manageable if you stay on top of the practice problems. I used unstuckstudy ai alongside the free textbook to prep - a lifesaver.

He explains things very clearly and you can see he puts a lot of effort into the course

Amazing prof. The class is known to be a bird but honestly I found it to be pretty interesting as we learned things that actually matter (eg. calculating taxes, mortages, interest rates, etc). He simplifies everything and you barely need your calculator its all logic-based. Would heavily recommend.

You know that joke where they say, "you don't need this in life" or "why didn't they teach us about taxes". Well you learn stuff you actually will use in life such as taxes, interest and probability. Great course, easy if you're in math or CS. All lectures are recorded which is nice if you're on Coop. 2 midterms and an exam though(you can MSAF one)

Absolutely amazing lecturer, very funny, always talks about extra things on how content connects to future concepts to learn, and real life. Examples like bees using polar co-ordinates still stick with me more than any math theory. Professor also clearly wants every student to succeed and even asked many of us how we felt about tests & assignments.

He was so amazing! Really funny and always approachable. He also asked for feedback a lot which was nice. Made taking calculus really fun and made it applicable to real life a lot. Also gave us a few history lessons on Newton which was always interesting. I hope to have him again one day, such an honour having him as a prof!!

What an absolute delight of a professor. There is nothing he could to do to make this class easier and more enjoyable for students. His lectures are great, the quizzes grading scheme is great and the overall class is really simple. Really educational too highly recommend for anyone on the fence take this class with Miroslav.
