He is awesome, will go over stuff in common language so you get it, gives you step by step formulas and extra credit quizes and homework. he really wants you to learn and succeed. Very approachable and tolerant. Will bend over backwards to help you.

I have to say that this professor is one of the best math professors I ever had since I signed up in MDC, the class was hard, and the tests were quite challenging but I have to say that if you at least do the HW and study, you'll get the good grade. He was so nice enough to give 25 extra credit points too in the final, that's very generous of him.

Awesome professor :-) He explains step by step to make you understand the lecture but if you still lose you can use your notes. He give hmwk but they are not due. all you do is 4 tests and the final. mymathlab is not required. if you have question you can always go to his office. the tests are not hard and you are not aloud to use calcularor.

He's a great teacher! I didn't do so great on the first two tests but once I studied a little more, I able to pass. He's available during office hours. Allows calculators during tests. Mymathlab is required, the book isn't.

This s the second class I take w. him and honestly there s no better teacher than him. He explains everythin' really well, there s no reason for u to fail the class if u do ur stuff. There a 4 tests and a mandatory final, and h.w. is given for every section. if u do the h.w. and have the time to go over it and study then u'll have no prob. :)

But you do have to study, 4 tests, and a commutative final. It wasn't that hard if you try. We started last semester with like 40 people, and only like 10 were there at the end.

Best Math professor I've had so far. He will answer and explain in great detail every question that you have. People whine about his tests being too difficult and claim they were geniuses before taking this class, but they forget that College Algebra is simple arithmetic and this is Pre Calculus. Tests are based on homework. I got an A (91%).

The grade is based off 4 exams but they were quite simple (the lowest is dropped with the optional final). Many forget math takes practice and refuse to do hw; this is why they failed. Hw is you study guide in this course. Very clear lectures. Passed with A.

This professor makes the simples problems 10 times more difficult he likes to do problems the long way instead of the easy steps other professors use. He is always late.

First, I want to point out that I do not like math and I have never scored an A on a math test before. Professor Delgado is a skilled teacher and I learned not to hate math anymore. You have to practice A LOT if you want to get a decent grade; that means doing the entire H.W and knowing by heart what you are doing, cuz his tests are hard!

He's a good teacher! I don't know how well he teaches in his math classes below Calc 3 but he's an overall good teacher so I would take him. His tests are pretty much exactly like the homework he gives you and he always answers your questions if you need any.

This Professor is pretty straight forward. His teaching style is very easy to follow however you really need to study. He's frequently late but not enough to really harm your class time. Four Tests and One Final so do your best! And DONT expect them to be easy or all multiple choice. Do the homework and study hard and you're going to pass!

I've taken this professor in deferent occasions and all I have to say is that he is great. He explains in detail he doesn't rush the students. Practice what you just leaned in class and you'll get an A for sure. Also gives study guides for each test which are super helpful. I wish all my professors were like him

I really like him. However, if I could find a better professor I would. He explains things well but theres only a few assignments and you really have to study for this class. If you fail a test you could always take the final. I wish homework weighed your grade more and only gave a pop extra credit quiz once. The class is passable, hes really nice

This a 5 credit class and TWO courses combined so don't expect an easy A. His lectures are highly informative and engaging. Just took the first test and it was straightforward. Do ALL the hw and his test reviews and you will get a good grade. Most of these reviewers are just lazy and expect good grades to drop from the sky. He's awesome, TAKE HIM!

Come into class and pay attention. If you miss one class youll be very lost. Fair grader, do the homework because it really boosts your grade. Good teacher, fair and understanding. Would definitely take again.

He is a great lecturer. Do well on all the tests so you can drop test 5 bc its the hardest. You need to study and do all the hw. This is a 5 credit class so its not an easy A. It's not impossible just do your best and you'll be fine. He gives extra credit. Don't be lazy because you will feel effects. He's little stricter with grading but very nice.

Delgado is an amazing teacher and you will learn so much. He may not seem approachable, but he is. This is a 5 credit class& 2 courses so don't expect it to be a walk in the park. I always love my math teachers but he made an amazing impression on me he is so funny and just amazing he teaches amazing and will explain everything he doesnt take attendance and uses mymathlab for hw i just signed up for calc 1 with him cannot wait

He will help you if you seek it, he won't give up trying to help you understand the material. His lectures are long but just take notes and participate in class. The tests are similar to the homework, the concept questions are exact definitions from the book. He teaches too many classes so he is unorganized, but that still doesn't mean he's awful.

This professor is very knowledgeable and tries to engage with the class . He goes step by step when going over examples, some times to slow. He has a fair grading policy, which includes: homework, four test, and a mandatory final that replaces your lowest test grade. If you do not attend class and/or do your homework you will fail.

I had him for spring and he is amazing!!!! He explains the material so you can understand it well. He does 4 tests and a final that drops the lowest grade. He sends a lot of homework but it really helps you understand the material; so go to his lectures and do all the homework and you will be prepared for your tests and further math classes! D

If you are not great at math, this is a good professor to take. He explains this in an understandable way and his exams are not impossible to take. He makes some awkward jokes but overall a cool dude. Homework is on mymathlab and he makes it all due at the end of the semester but it's best to do it when assigned to not fall behind. Overall good

Mr. Delgado is an amazing professor, explains clearly and cares about his students' grades. I took trigonometry this semester with him because I already had taken MAC1106 last fall with him and it was great. Just show up to class, pay attention to lectures, do the homework, and you should be all right. He's excellent.

He's pretty good at explaining the different concepts and theorems. He also solves a lot of the homework problems in class which is nice so that you know what to expect when you do the HW. I took this class during covid, so if you take him in person he might be totally different. The tests were on MyLabMath and were extremely similar to the HW

I took him in an online semester, he did all his coursework on PearsonMyMathLab and I found it to be very nice. 5 exams... with the last one replacing your worst score (if it helps) and offered many opportunities for extra credit. The homeworks were helpful... set time to practice Calculus after his lectures and youll pass with flying colors

Professor Delgado is a super nice and helpful teacher. He gives a lot of extra credit and even provides a review exam, and when completed he gives you 10% on your test. Test are not proctored . Calc is a tough subject but if u take him youll be good.

Misael Delgado cares about his students. He is constantly looking out for us and making sure that we have as many opportunities as possible to get an A. He cares about us students and while sometimes he assumes we know things if you ask him for proofs or you ask him why something works the way it does, he will do everything in his power to help.

He is nice and respectful. All HW and exams were on math lab (class was online.) no proctored exams. Lectures were loaded with info, but you could read his class notes that he uploaded if you missed anything. HW, test reviews contribute to grade

He is so dedicated and helpful. He spent hours outside of class trying to help me understand the material. Sometimes he would even jump on MDC live to help me outside of his office hours as well. He is an amazing professor. Do not pass him up. As long as you put in effort in his class, you will do well. He is also a fair grader.

Tests are on Lockdown browser with webcam (most of the time) but very easy. He is extremely flexible and teaches everything you need to know for exams, if not more. Gives extra credit on your exams if you do well on your homework for that section.

fully online, 4 practice tests and 4 unit tests 20-25 questions each, 2 of em due once a month 1 proctored midterm + final u could take in-person or w proctorU. Only difficult thing connectmath hw was tough and they were like 20 questions each. He doesnt rly reply to emails but is ok its not too difficult of a class even if u dont know math like me

Had this professor a few years back for precalc, calc2, and diff eq. Easy going professor and explains difficult subjects in math well. If you have a solid grasp of the homework he assigns, you will do fine on the exams. Accessible out of class to answer questions. Cares about getting his students to understand the material. Highly recommended

Easy class because the course was mainly Connect Math for HW. 1 Midterm and Final; each about 20-25 questions based on lesson. Practice assignments will be your extra credit in the end - definitely will help. Class is easy but you have to pass the Midterm and Final or it's obvious you're not studying. I took this course while working Full-time.

Professor Delgado is very respectful, teaches material thoroughly and ensures students have smooth access to all work and notes. Lots of homework but he gives student plenty of time to complete which helps a ton! Definitely recommend him.

A good math professor is very important, especially when it's not your strong suit. I would say Professor Delgado is up there. He is clear in his explanations, thorough with every lecture (they are long, just a heads up) & he helps with any questions. Offers extra credit sometimes & optional final. Also no heavy accent which definitely helps!

He wasn't a super difficult professor and seemed to really care about teaching us. He would make sure to tell us which items are important for Calculus/ upper classes from here on out. He gives 10% EC for exams if u do a review (except its literally more q than the tests). Final is optional and hes pretty funny. hes for those who teach themselves

I Definitely recommend him!. with Professor Delgado I was able to understand Algebra. He is good teaching the material,responding emails and helps with any questions during class or after hours. Lots of homework but he gives time to complete and offers extra credits. 4 quizzes and 1 optional final to recover any low grade.

Delgado is an awesome teacher his class was very easy even though I am not the greatest at math. You will need to buy the book tho for like 70$.

Professor Delgado is a great professor. He cares about his students, he constantly goes out of his way to ensure material is understood. There are reviews for the exams and he also gives a lot of opportunities for extra credit. His lectures are great and he is very kind. I would highly recommend him if you struggle with math.

He is just amazing. He explains really good, gives a lot of time for homeworks and tests. If you need more time you can talk with him an he will move the test for another date. Super available for giving preparations and helps you so you can fully understand. Would take again for sure.

He was good at explaining everything. He was super understanding and gave extra credit for exams. The exams are proctored but if you did the review then they were super easy. For homework, you had unlimited tries so you could get the grade you wanted. There was enough time to turn everything in.

Delgado makes math less intimidating. Excellent at explaining concepts, with review sessions and extra credit opportunities. unstuckstudy AI was a huge help for prep too.

Hands down the best mathematics professor I've ever had. I was worried about taking calculus for my first time. However, because of him and his class, I was able to feel confident in my ability to learn math and problem solve. He enjoys teaching and has a great attitude. I hope to take him again in the future for my next math courses.

Best mathematics professor at MDC! Despite the fact he takes a few days to respond to emails and put in grades, he's still great. I don't remember his grading scale very well to share so you will have an idea, but there's one discussion, quiz, and 5-7 homework assignments after each module (7). Proctored midterm and final, must score over 60%.

Very nice guy, he teaches a bit slow but you can tell he really enjoys math and cares about his students.

Tbh, I didn't deserve an A. I had it because he is amazing. He gave a lot of extra credit and always ensured we were passing. Do the hw. That is the hardest part of calculus: do ALL of the hw. It will teach you all you need for the tests. Make a hw-workout strategy. And ask him stuff! He is amazing and super interesting! Love him! Also see tutors!

I would have to say one of the best most caring teachers I've had. I had him for mac1105 a hard class but he tries to give extra credit everywhere possible and he works with you. Would 1000% recommend him.

Professor Delgado is the kindest, most patient professor I've ever had. He truly wants his students to learn math and offers plenty of opportunities to improve your grade. Class is hard, but very fulfilling. Lots of homework and tests, but also extra credit. I am glad I took him and would love to take him again in the future.
