Don't know why every thinks she is so hard! i absolutly loved her and i learned so much in her class, i think its only the mediocre students who dont like her. all students with 3.5 gpa and up that i've talked to loved her also!

She is a very good teacher. She makes sure we know the material and she helps you in anyway she can if you make an effort. Her teaching style is suited very well for adults who know that they have to apply themselves in order to get an A.

I absolutely LOVED her! Definatly one of the best teachers on campus. She is a little tough, but if you are at school to learn adn are serious, then she is definatly a great teacher to have!!!

I learned a lot from her class. The material is kind of tough, but she takes all her test materail from her quizzes, so even if you flunk the quizzes, you can do ok on the test. I really enjoyed her class.

Ms. Carriger is a fun and exciting teacher. She also gives out quizzes before you take the teat,plus, she uses the same questions on the quizzes for the exam. Good teacher.

I have gained a greater respect for Biology and have enjoyed learning from her. Her teaching style is fun and effective. I would recommed others to take a class from her.

This is not an easy class, but she gives quizzes and for each test, which does help out alot. She does help you out, if you ask for her to do so.

Ms.Carriger helped to make sure that I passed Biology,even though I did not particularly like the subject. She actual helped me to understand some of the concepts!

Ms. Carriger cares about her students. She makes sure you thoroughly understand the subject. Lets face it, Biology is not fun. We had lots of fun and discussions in class. She made learning a good experience.

Mrs. Carriger took me aside and offered extra help when she sensed I was having trouble grasping the topic. There are a lot of teachers who are not willing to go that extra mile.

This is not an easy class and anyone taking it should be aware of that. I do feel Mrs. Carriger was very fair and an excellent teacher. I learned a lot in this class and am glad I had her as an instructor. There was rarely a dull moment. She is strict, but often this is necessary in order to maintain the integrity of the class.

She taught me how to go about studying sciences and how to be successful. There is no more kind or sincerely concerned person at NE ,or anywhere else, than Misty Carriger. A phenomenal professor and person! Mrs. Carriger knows her subject inside out and is so willing to share her vast knowledge with students who care as much as she does. Just give it your best effort and she will do anything to assist you. Her class is tough, intensive, and enjoyable. I look back on it as my favorite time in college.

At first, I thought she was a hard professor, but later I found her to very helpful when I did not understand the concepts in Anatomy I. Study hard for this class when you take it because the class is not easy, but she will help you when you ask for help!

Misty Carriger is the best teacher at Northeast State, hands down...and there are some GREAT teachers here. She is a terrific person and she is the reason I was successful in biology. I will never forget her and always think of her class as my best time in college.

She is extremely knowledgeable about the subject and expects her students to know the AP book in and out. Read the chapters at least twice and know the italicized and bold words well, even if they were not covered in class they will be on the exams. Good teacher if you can connect with her.

Carriger is great! she makes a boring subject a blast. She knows how to be silly, and helpful at the same time! I would recommend her for anything. I'm horrible in any science and did really well! Awesome teacher!

Wonderful instructor, she makes learning fun. If you can not pass her class, there is something wrong with your brain. Just study and you can pass her class.

When I first met Mrs. Carriger, I thought, "This is going to be a doozie"! I ended up liking her class and I made a B in it. Just pay attention, take good notes, go to every single class, and study, study, study! Mrs. Carriger is very, very bright but yet she can get on your level of thinking.

Great instructor...

I absolutely loved Ms. Carriger. She's a little jumbled sometimes, but she has a lot on her plate. She knows the subject EXTREMELY well and if she does not know the answer to a question she admits to it and looks it up. If you study her quizzes you'll do just fine on her Tests. She has a good sense of humor and I always looked forward to her class

I think the reason some people have issues with Mrs. Carriger is that they are simply lazy. The attendance policy is relaxed, and she only grades it based on attendance quizzes, so some don't show up and grades take a hit. She is great at relaying why a lesson relates to daily life. If you use all your resources and go to class, you'll make an A.

I loved taking this class under M. Carriger. If you actually show up to class and to your lab and apply some effort- YOU will pass this class. Loved the fact that you could take the quizzes 2 times, and the test were VERY similar to the online quizzes. You are in college now, it's time to put your big pants on and be responsible.

I have taken mrs carriger three times now by CHOICE!! (of course) I think she's wonderful. She isn't the most organized, but past that the class requires studying!! Biology has concepts most people aren't use to and she's willing to help. These classes take effort!!! You'll be fine she's wonderful! I would recommend her to the SERIOUS student!

Ms. Carriger is by far the best teacher I had in my time at Northeast. She goes above and beyond for her students. She is energetic and full of life. You do have to work in her class if you want a good grade, but getting to know her has given me a life long friend.

Mrs. Carriger's class only seems hard if you are unprepared. She goes out of her way to explain, provide study material, and help. Her test are exactly what she says they'll be. It is a science class that requires work outside of class for success. The only people who don't like her are lazy students expecting to be spoon-fed A's.

I took Carriger for biology 1 and biology 2, she is an amazing teacher. She goes out of her way to try and help you pass the class. I did not think I was going to pass this class but she helped me so much that I had passed with a B. I would recommend anyone to take her class, she is by far the best biology teacher at Northeast State.

Carrigers class was so much fun. She made biology super easy for me. If you take the online quizzes then you will most definitely pass the exams!

Mrs. Carriger is amazing!! I have LOVED taking her for Bio II. She's a little messy and you have to check her grading skills but she makes Biology interesting . Do the online quizzes and answer the study guides and you will have no problems with the exams. She won't answer "what's on the test?" but she will clearly answer specific questions.

Shes wacky for sure but shes a good professor and you get used to the craziness. I also had her for lab and she likes everyone to work together which I dont really like but shes very thorough

Prof Carriger is a brilliant biology professor. She is very knowledgeable about her topics and is extremely hilarious. If you take her for 1120, get ready to hear the word "anus" all semester LOLOLOL. I learned so much in her class and would recommend her to anyone. I would take her class again for sure.

Misty is an extremely kind and caring professor who gives fantastic feedback. I have her for duel enrollment A&P 1 and she is very straight-forward with the way she teaches. She is always open to taking questions and giving great feedback on test, assignments, and open discussion. Overall Misty is a great teacher and I am fortunate to have her.

Misty is an amazing Professor and caring person. She is very understanding and always makes me smile. Her goofy personality makes her fun to listen to and easy to understand. If given the opportunity I would take her class again.
