Best professor ever! She is great in lectures, gives quizzes and journals to help exam grades,and even though her exams are a little rough (like any psychology exam) you will end up KNOWING your stuff. She is the BEST! I recommend her any day of the week. Her exams are a lot on scenarios.

Great teacher, lots of fun. She explains what she wants you to know, and she puts it into terms that anyone can understand. My fave class and fave professor. She is also willing to help you with anything all you have to do is ask. This class is a must! Just pay attention and do not be scared to speak up or ask for help!

I do not know who has been writing bad reviews on Professor Hixon, but they are way wrong! She is by far the best teacher you could ask for. Very understanding. If you don't understand something she WILL go out of her way to help you understand. If you do bad in her class its your own fault. All you have to do is listen, and ask questions! Fun!!

Mrs. Hixon is a really cool teacher, yeah her tests are hard, unless you study. But coming to class is always fun!! She gives clear examples and will even go out of her way to give to cool facts just to keep your attention. Very nice professor. Friendly, and always there for ya. Also gives out extra credit.

Do not listen to the comments below! These most have been lazy students who expect teachers to revolve class around them! I am halfway through this semester and making an A. She doesn't expect much. Before every test there are some short answer questions due and then you take the test. Tests aren't hard if you study the notes!Love her class!!!!

One of the best teacher I've had in college. I really learned the materials. The reviews help you learn with the lectures. I would recommend Mrs.Hixon to everyone that has to take psychology. Omg Ms. Hixon is one of the best, funny, and most helpful teacher here in campus. I recommend her to anybody who is willing to learn n get a good grade. Just listen during leture, write down notes. And do the study guides and bam one good ass grade.

Loved this class!Hixon is awesome and very helpful! Took class online during spring. Replies to all emails pretty fast, read the chapters and do the review, power-points, and quizzes/activities almost every chapter. Test were 50 questions each. Don't skip any work cause it all adds up so quite easy to make an A if you put a little effort into it.

took this class online and I loved it. Ms. Jackson is a great teacher. You do not get timed on your quiz and you can take them twice. You have four projects to do, but she gives you plenty of time to get them done. Very understanding. Responds to e-mails and phone calls. Wish I could take her again.

She was wonderful. I had Prof Hixon in an online class in the summer. The course load was realistic, she was extremley polite in all correspondence, she even bumped my grade from a B to an A because I was one point shy of an A. Wondrful person and teacher!

LOVED HER! makes it easy for you to understand. You have quizes weekly but she gives you what pages to read. you could possibly get by with not getting the book (posts her powerpoints on blackboard so if you go over that quiz you may not do horrible) there is one paper due towards end but not hard. final not comprehensive, gives reviews for tests.

Ms. Hixon is a great teacher. She is does want to make sure that you understand and retain the material that she is teaching. She keeps the lectures interesting and encourages the class to particpate. She is willing to help you any way that she can. She did get married so her last name is Edwards now. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

When I read the book I had a good understanding of the material but then during the lecture, I was like...OH!-Because she makes the information relative and to everyday life. Thanks! Absolutely love this professor! Very fun personality but very passionate about following directions. She is strict but not hard to learn from. The book was required for our class but may not always be for other classes. If you pay attention you shouldn't have trouble passing. Wonderful teach overall.

Psychology being my major, i absolutely loved her as a professor! She makes her rules and guidelines very clear but if you follow them, there will be no problem! I would really recommend her. The course is easy if you are willing to write notes, listen to her lectures and do the study guides. The study guides are your key for passing her tests. She highlights the things that would be covered on the test, and she also gives bonus points in all of her tests if you do the reading assignment's.

Awesome professor! I don't speak the best english but I managed to make an A in her class! Just read the material she posts online and do the study guides and you will make an easy A. Took her online & unfortunately made my 1st B EVER in college (88.6) her daily work is super easy but her tests were SO hard. I could read the chapters, do the extra review & STILL make a 60 or 70. I am retaking this course but too scared to do it with her again. She is very nice & quick to respond, I'm just scared of those tests.

This was an online class because I registered late. Her homework was super easy and awesome. Her tests were soooo hard. I'm going to re-take this class, I am going to try her in person because she is a cool person. I just hope I do better in her in person class!

I loved Professor Edwards! She was really great at giving real world examples during her lectures and was always available for extra help if needed! However, if you actually pay attention in the lecture her tests are average. Not difficult, but not too easy. I would definitely recommend her to everyone! Her lectures are not boring either!

Easy A if you read the chapters and take good notes. She provides notes but they aren't necessarily the most clear-cut. She has some questions that you can answer that are usually on the test which was helpful. Exams aren't hard, just read the chapters and you'll do great! Never really had to ask her any questions, the course is well organized

Misty was a really good professor for a flex track online class. The whole semester was crammed into two and a half weeks, but she made it seem really simple. There was an exam every few days, which was really easy if you filled out the chapter review.

Misty Edwards is one of, if not the, greatest professors at this college. She is hilarious but gets her point across. Everyone has so much respect for her. She has a no phone policy but once the class begins you really don't even worry about it. I would know I'm attached but i found it fairly easy to leave it alone. I would HIGHLY recommend her!!

Mrs. Edwards made my semester. I was struggling with some personal problems, and she worked with me every single day if it was needed for me to succeed. She'd check in on me on a personal level, not just as a teacher. A kind and caring person. Clear instructions, easy to pass if you do your reading, and by far one of the nicest professors I've had.

Mrs. Edwards is one of the best professors I've had. I have taken many classes with good professors, but she is one of the best. Misty was such an amazing Teacher! She cares about her students and her class was never boring. She is very strict when it comes to being late and using your phone in class which is understandable. If you have a question, she will explain it until you understand even if it takes time out of Lecture. She has a sense of humor that relates to the students and even cracks herself up. Her lectures are never heavy. Our class goes from the time we are supposed to be there to the end of class, no later. She simplified it down when she explains it.

Professor Edwards is amazing! I took her online class and she gave an ample amount of time to get the quizzes completed. One quiz per week! Anytime I had a quesiton - she answered right away and was very respectful. I wish she taught PSYC II because I would take her again!

I absolutely loved this class. She is so funny and she makes her class very interesting. The lectures are heavy and attendance is mandatory, she also has a quiz due at the end of each week but all the answers should be on your notes.

With it being online, you would expect it to be hard and have loads of material to memorize. It was quite the opposite. Learning the material was optional cause all you had to do was Google all the questions since the professor didn't make Lockdown Browser mandatory, which prevents you from cheating and records you. Take this class for an easy A+.

I took prof Edwards, during the first 8 week semester classes. I was always able to get in touch with her when needed, and the assignments were clearly laid out starting the first day of class. I said you need a textbook, because all assignments are Mcgraw Hill, and a cumulative final. The daily work and final, is all weighed the same.

This is an Easy A class. The grading material and rubric is clear. 2 Chapters are due every sunday. NO tests only final exam at the end of semester. No textbook is required. Late work is not accepted because she gives you plenty of time to complete assignments.

She set clear goals from the beginning so it was easy to plan the whole semester. 1 chapter quiz and 1-2 additional quizzes a week. E-textbook provided. Make sure to complete every assignment & follow instructions for the final; you'll make an A. Final wasn't a test, but a sort of research chart, super easy. Highly recommend Prof. Edwards!!

This was my first time taking a psychology class and it was really good! I took her at 8 in the morning and she made it interesting. She does a good job explaining the concepts and as long as you do the study guides, you'll pass her quizzes.

All assignments are online through the textbook but are very straightforward. Her lectures are enjoyable and easy to understand. She cracks jokes whenever she can and makes the class fun. I would absolutely take her at any chance given!

I took this professor online and she is very good at communicate and making sure you understand the material for her course. I would recommend this professor with people with a learning disability and when you email her she will response to you and answer your questions.
