Dr. Haeri is a great instructor. Probably the best I had at Saddleback. The exams are on the tough side, but fair. Do all the work consitently and you will do O.K.

I agree with the reviewer below. Dr. Haeri's class was from a Joke. I worked hard and learned some Physics. I even passed the class. I was afraid of taking physics. Dr. Haeri made it all worthwhile. This is a good class and superb instructor.

Easy class. Easy teacher. The class meets late @ night, so its hard to stay awake sometimes. Class consists of Tests & Labs & a field trip. Pretty straight forward. This class wont require too much study time, its pretty easy.

Good Teacher, easy to get along with and sometimes funny. Class is difficult though.He doesnt really go over the chapter all that well. Tends to space off on diffirent things and is really hard to get a grip on what he is trying to tell you. But besides that fun and very cool teacher.

Cool class. We just took a field trip to view stars. You actually get to use the telescopes. Got to look at Mars. Lots of fun. Just good looking is an understatement (he is also in great shape).

This online class fits my schedule. Haeri is flexible, he accomodates lots of changes. grades averaged over several items. good class is you are schedule crunched. and yes ultra cute. lecuters r interesting.

Dr.Haeri is a great teacher and if you have the opportunity to take his class, do it. In response to those who take the class to admire things other than his teacing ability,this is not an easy A, so you may want to re-evaluate your ciriculum. I took Haeri for Physics 20 and then took him for Astro-20 since I enjoyed Physics so much. Both classes were great. If asked, Haeri will go out of his way to explain the material. If you care, he cares. Grading: He is very fair. All tests are graded on a curve. And yes, he is good looking and has a great personality.

Really easy. He pretty much gives you full credit for the labs as long as you do them, if you mess up he might take off a few points but it wont really hurt you. Study the study guides that he gives you and you should do fine on the midterm/final. Pretty much as long as you show up every day and study for the midterm/final you should get an A.

A fair teacher (he is also hot). You will enjoy this class. Spent a cool night out looking at galaxies ands stars. Tests are on the hard side, but your grade mostly depends on labs. I had fun in this class this semester

Took him for Astro 25 as well. Easy class, really nice and wants you to learn. Enjoys teaching and the midterm and final are cake if you study. Just do the labs for 25, and the homework for 20 and it should be an easy A, no problems!

great teacher. i only got 3 hours of sleep before each lab and still had tons of fun. for a physics class, the tests are easy. you must read the chapters! he is very good about answering questions thoroughly when they are brought up and he will give his personal time to help students that are not understanding the material (very hard to find that).

Took online class. Textbook a little ambiguous. Quiz and questions due every week but not difficult. Gave plenty of time to get midterm and final completed. Highly recommend the class. If you have questions, emails you promptly.

His lectures are interesting to listen to and he really teaches you the information in class. If you attend every class, you will get an A. There was only one lab outside of class and one feild trip that was fun to go on. His tests are short and to the point and he doesn't try to trick you at all. he's awesome and sexy!!!

I took both Astronomy 20 and 25 with this professor, and both classes were great! Astronomy 25 was a very straight-forward class, and the lectures were not too painful to sit trough. He is good at answering questions, and he tells you what will be on the midterm and final. Astronomy 20 online was easy too. I got a B. I definitely reccommend him!

One of my all time favorite professors. Very nice, cool, and interesting guy. Also, very approachable and helpful. He will babble on sometimes, but mostly it's more in depth information about what you're learning about. But as long as you're interested in astronomy, you'll be into what he's saying.

Easiest online class ever. Everyone in my class is really annoying and freaks out because he posts assignments late, but he always allows ONE week to complete no matter what. He doesn't respond to emails but I have never needed to email him because it's self-explanatory and EASY EASY EASY.

awesome professor!! funny guy!! drinks out of a beaker haha!! real easygoing personality. midterm and final are difficult but passable. if you take this class, go on the field trip it is awesome!! take this class in the fall!! i took it in the spring semester and it was cloudy every night so we did not use the telescopes that often.

Prof. Haeri is a great teacher. He often explains or does things that make the class more fun and interesting. Tests are easy because they are problems in the book and he gives you the range of numbers that he can pick. DO THE PROBLEMS I cannot stress that enough. Physics 4B is a tough class but if you have Haeri you'll be okay.

I really enjoyed this class. Professor Haeri is passionate about the subject, and did a pretty good job explaining things. He was extremely straight forward on what he expected for tests. The majority of the class grade was based on labs, which weren't too bad. Only negative on this class is that it's late at night (necessarily) and long.

Grade is mainly based off labs, there is a midterm & final but they are easy as long as you take notes & pay attention. Not a ton of book use, lectures are the main source of information so take notes. Haeri is nice & as long as you show interest in the class & work hard you should get an A.

Weekly quizzes & discussion questions with a midterm & final. Textbook is the main source of information for the tests & quizzes. Study hard & do the work & you should be fine. Only problem I had was that sometimes questions on the tests weren't always covered in the chapter assigned that week.

Interesting and enthusiastic professor. He makes learning physics enjoyable. Unfortunately I have a very hard time with Physics so I had to work VERY hard for my A. I barely managed it. I was really interested in the subject so I probably shouldn't have taken the class online. The material is pretty dry when you are just reading the book on your own (you need the book), but anyways the class is pretty simple what's you get the hang of it. It's a very easy class. There is a quiz as well as an assignment per chapter each week. You're allowed to miss one weeks hw or it can count as EC. The assignments are a few questions and it doesn't matter if you answer incorrectly, you get points for just completing it. The quizzes are 20 q's from the book. Two exams, 100 q's, all multiple choice.

Took this as a 6 week online course and like others have said, it's very easy. There is an assignment (5 fill in answers) for every chapter and you get credit just for doing it. There is also a quiz for every chapter that is 20 multiple choice questions. The midterm and final are both 100 questions and super easy. Not hard at all to pass with an A.

Haeri is an easy A if you participate and ask for his help. He virtually will do the labs for you if you ask for help, so no excuses to not get 100s on each lab. One mid-term and final, but he gives a study sheet and answers all questions to help you prepare. Lectures are long though. He is not a great lecturer but he wants you to succeed so its ok

I took Professor Haeri's online class... Very strait forward, read one chapter a week then one homework assignment consisting of 5 questions, and a 20 question multiple choice quiz every week on that chapter. Midterm and final are also multiple choice... if you apply yourself you can get an A. All Quizzes and Midterm / Final are timed.

His online class is an easy A. just do the online quizzes and the two online tests and pass. no papers, no hassle, pretty straight forward.

I took him for the astronomy lab course, there was no homework besides lab reports but only had 4 formal ones all year. Barely any tests, just show up to class and you got this, super super easy course and he is a great teacher and nice guy

Professor Haeri's lab was super long, however he made the lectures and notes not too boring. For the viewing of the stars we got to work with groups and you are let out pretty early. Make sure you take good notes because the tests are not super easy. His online astronomy 20 class is an easy A! Plus, he is super hot.

Observational Astronomy is an amazing class where students get to explore the stars with telescopes. P. Haeri is charming, creative, and vast with knowledge about the stars. Show up to his class, participate in the labs, and you'll have an easy A. Definitely, sparked my interest in astronomy a step further.

I personally loved his class. I took 4A and 4B with him and wish i could take 4C with him. His class consisted of a weekly quiz (if you had the Sat class) and was directly pulled out of the HW assigned. He doesn't collect HW but if you do the HW problems you will do great in the class. YOU NEED TO PUT A LOT OF TIME INTO THE PROBLEMS.

If you utilize your textbook and follow each chapter by the week, you will get through this course with ease. Just like every other college course, if you dedicate some time (seriously like an hour a week) you won't have to stress.

I just took Haeri for physics 4A. The teacher is very friendly. He really wants to make sure you are learning the chapters and are able to do physics problems. He will not hold your hand. 10 hw questions a week. If you master the 10 questions for every chapter by the end of the week , you will 100% pass this class. Physics is very hard. Practice!

The online Astro-20 is one of the most straightforward online classes I have taken. It is very fair. You do have one on one access to the instructor if you live in the area close to the college. Just make an appointment. However, do not assume this subject matter is easy. This is a science class.

Professor Haeri is the best Physics teacher at Saddleback. I took 4A from Canales and then 4B from Haeri. What a pleasant transition. He knows his stuff and is patient with students. Grading is very straightforward. On exams he pulls problems right out of the textbook. Definitely recommended. I just wish he taught 4C.

Prof. Haeri is a great, fair teacher. Show up, do the easy homework, do flash cards before the exams, and work with your small group: it's an easy A or B. He brought the universe to us and created an exciting class in addition to the observatory. Extra credit IS available if you go to the astronomy club meetings. 2 extra points to your grade/mtg.

Dr. Haeri is a great physics prof. He has a way of making this hard subject understandable. Exams are fair. He team teaches the class with professor Marsh. I highly recommend his physics courses.

Overall, a pretty easy class. The weekly assignments were around 5 questions and if you completed them, you got full credit. The quizzes for each chapter were also very easy and the answers could be found online. Most of the midterm and final could not be googled, but if you study, you'll be fine. He also makes one quiz EC if you complete them all.

This class was awesome depending on the kind of student you are. I'm lazy and just wanted an easy A in a class that I don't particularly have any interest in. There is no discussion boards which is amazing. You have a 3-4 question assignment and a 20-point quiz every week. Easiest class I've ever taken. Buy the book and use quizlets for an easy A

Each week there is one 20 question quiz and 3-4 homework assignment. These quizzes and homework assignments make up 1/3 of your grade, the midterm and final make up the other 2/3. Just read and you'll get an A.

Astronomy 20 online- Fairly easy class, only one assignment per week which contained 4 to 6 questions. All of the questions he asks can easily be found online if you ever get stuck. His tests were ok, some of the questions on the weekly assignments are also on the tests so if you do the assignments first then you'll get a better grade on the test.

This class was so amazing im sad that he doesn't teach more classes. The observational astronomy class was super easy. The structure of the class from 7-10:50 P.M was basically an hour or two of lecture, then break, then lab. Dr. Haeri is so nice and really works with you. The labs are so easy and where most of your points come from. Amazing prof!

Make sure you get publisher's resources! Prof. Haeri made it sound like it was optional in the syllabus but I had the most difficult time understanding concepts without the MindTap to go with it. Because of this disadvantage he was very helpful and replied quickly to email. He even put a study guide together just for me. BUY MINDTAP ACCESS!

Lectures were best if you already read the textbook. If you stay on top of it, you will succeed. He is very understanding to students and rounds grades.

He honestly is not the best at teaching. He goes a little slow, but that is better than going too fast. He is very nice, likable, and understanding. He only talks about the concept and never went over a single example. His exams are easy, especially compared to other professors I've heard. If you want an easier time in physics, take Haeri.

Dr. Haeri is a great person. Very humble and willing to spend the time to help each student understand and excell. The key with Haeri is communicate!! Too many students feel lost but do not ask questions or take advantage of office hours. He will work with you to get you to where you need to be in a difficult subject for many students.

Took this class for one of my science credits. It is super easy there is 1 assignment each week that's 5 questions & then 1 quiz each week that's 20 questions. I would recommend taking this class for the second eight weeks because it's easy. There are no lectures, essays, or projects. The subject was pretty interesting.

I was nervous when I enrolled, but it ended up being such a great easy class. If you read each chapter you will do great on the quizzes and 5 question written assignments.

Easy course with weekly assignments and quizzes. Textbook is used but not mandatory. No attendance required. Leveraged Unstuck ai and ChatGPT to breeze through the tests. Solid A!

A good professor, all things considered. One assignment and quiz per week, regular midterm and final. The only thing to remember is that ASSIGNMENTS ARE DUE AT 9 PM. He has an extremely strict no-late-credit policy, and everything is due at 9 PM, not 12. As long as you know that and read the textbook, you'll do fine.
