WHat a useless class. he speaks too fast. asks if there are any questions and then gets mad when you actually have one. he is condesending and a horrible teacher.
Awful teacher. Take his class if you're not interested in learning. He doesn't really know the material himself, gets angry if you ask challenging questions. If he makes u feel stupid w/his comments it's just b/c he's trying to hide the fact that he doesn't know his stuff and trying to scare you away.
Yuh. I took him last quarter and I liked him a lot. But this quarter, everyone seems very disappointed because he keep yelling at everyone. If u don't know something, he said why don't you ask. But when u ask, he will brought to the class attention and try to embarrass you. Everyone in class are so affraid to ask question even they don't know. Very
Mitch is a great instructor for students who want to learn. If you are a slacker and pleased with little might not be your favorite instructor. I learned a lot in his class. Continue this way because that's the only way of getting good education.
Mitch is tough on you but you can learna lot. I know he seems intimidating but don;t be afraid to ask questions because he's going to answer them. His lab was pleasant but the experiments take long time.
Though I got an A, he was a horrible. He thinks he knows everything and didn't even explain anything well. He yelled at the students, and insulted everyone. His quizzes were not fair whatsoever. He got nicer towards the end of the quarter, but it was a struggle to earn the A. I did learn quite a bit, but it was pleasant and wouldn't recommend him
I took this class for the summer. Mitch is a great guy. He can be very intimidating is hard to tell when you meet him for the first time because he hides it well behind his adorable face and beautiful accent. He HATES anyone that arrives late to and will call you on it. test are okay lab is relaxed
Taking him for biochem lab.He will seem intimidating and mean at first, but once you know him, he's a great professor and friendly guy.He makes sure you know the material and will answer any question u have clearly. Hates people who are tardy so be prepare to come on time! he will pick on you with questions if you are tardy!
Intimidating at beginning but after you get to know him he is funny and smart! Tries to help you and explain you until you get the concept. He really cares about you and wants you to succeed! His sarcasm is funny and smooth! Had a great time in his class and learned a lot more than any other instructor!
The class was hard for a introductory class. There was 2 midterms and a final, which are I found kind of difficult. Overall I had a hard time with this class because the professor gave easy examples and homework problems, but the test problems were much harder. The professor himself is very nice though.
Awesome professor! Really fair and helpful! First midterm was long but not hard. Second midterm was easy and final was very easy! You need to study to do well in his class. But college is for good students not wieners! Way to go professor! I will take your future classes if I would have to!
Make sure to show up to class and DON'T BE LATE. He's a very nice professor if he sees that you're involved. Pay attention in class and do the homework and you will do well in the class; his tests are based on what he has taught and ONLY on what he has covered in class. He will give you the grade that he sees that you deserve. Also he's super cute.
A very bad professor. Sure he knows bio-chem but it is not about how much the prof knows. Can the guy teach? NO!!I hope the Prof reads this; "STOP ASKING THE STUDENT AUDIENCE QUESTIONS DURING LECTURE"!!! IT ONLY DISRUPTS THE FLOW OF LEARNING. Of course we don't know the answer because u have not lectured on that information yet.
I took his class in the Summer time and he's sure an intimidating teacher at first look but later, you will appreciate it. He's very detailed in his lecture and informative in his lab. He often ask for participation in class by asking you to answer his questions, so you better read his slides and textbook prior to the class. He's adorable and funny
He is tough! A Nice guy but you really need to pay attention. Very fast paced lectures so i would pay close attention. 2 midterms, 1 final!
I love him! There's a lot to cover for this course, so he goes by quickly, but if you just meet him during office hours, he would gladly sit with you and help you every step of the way. 2 midterms, and 1 final, and they're WAY EASIER than the homework problems. Don't like his European way of teaching, but when in doubt, talk to him.
It's beyond me that I didn't get an "F" in this class. His tests are difficult, but ONLY if you SLACK like I did. I missed a couple of days (NOT an excuse) and the homework I turned in weren't complete. This guy is NOT intimidating at all. In fact, he's awesome and very helpful. Go to his office hours if you canNOT grasp the material. READ!
You can tell that Voda is very knowledgable in chemistry and tries his best in getting everyone to understand the material. But, the class was very fast paced and was difficult to keep up with. I did have to study a lot on my own and managed to do pretty well. You must pay attention and attend each class to understand.
I love him as a person! he is so sweet and really wants you to do good in his class. however, the class is very fast paced but its not impossible. You NEED to read ahead for his lectures, it helps so much. Just put time and effort into the class and its an easy A. I ended with an A and would definitely take him again.
Very knowledgeable. Not very helpful if you're looking for an ordinary lecture prof. Doesn't lecture. Quickly points out some points of the textbook and asks questions for the rest of the class. Class basically is about him asking random questions about the reading and students hoping they don't get picked on.
Amazing professor. He made chemistry easy to understand, but doing the homework and studying the material on my own was essential.
He is one of my favorite professors at CSULA. knows what he's talking about. you will learn so much in this class. It is a hard subject however if you put in effort and time on your own you can get an A. I would definitely recommend him ! his class never gets boring especially with his sense of humor and sarcasm! its amazingg
Everyone told me never to take him but I did and glad I didn't listen because he was the best professor I've ever had! Super tough on students. You have to work hard to pass but it's worth it because you'll learn so much. He's a great guy and always makes you laugh. Puts students on the spot but he just wants you to learn to react under pressure.
DON'T TAKE HIM! He doesn't really teach, just points out a few stuff in the textbook and then starts on problems, before calling on students. He likes to asks questions about the material that he hasn't taught yet, and you have to read ahead about the material you're learning before you arrive to class or you won't get anything at all.
By far the worst teacher I have ever taken! If you don't read before class you won't pass. Will pick the hardest questions from the homework & not explain clearly how to do it. Picks on you in class & belittles you if you don't understand. Sometimes does the problems wrong, likes to act like he's a genius & enjoys humiliating students. AVOID HIM!!
Not a class to take if you want a hand out! You have to work for your grade. Study and do all the problems in the book. This is a class where you need to understand the material not just go through the motions and remember the steps to solving a problem. You need to be decent at thinking critically and working through problems.
Mitch was a great professor and I really learned so much more in his lab than any other labs. He changed reports with presentation which are more fun and educational. He knows his stuff and if you struggle with concepts go and ask him. He goes the extra length to help you understand but expects to read before lab. Enjoyed the lab a lot!
Worst professor I've taken
He just wants you to know what you are doing in lab... Not the memorize the protocol but the understand concept. Not hard.
This professor arrived late to class frequently. He was abrasive in his interactions with students, and spoke to students in a condescending tone. He encouraged students to ask him questions, but when they did, he accused students of not caring enough about the class. His cynical, negative attitude was difficult to work with.
So, you wont pass if you slack off, show up, be prepared to read the lectures invest at least 8 hours of studying outside of class and if you have him for lab, which i didn't but heard some crazy feed backs, well good luck! I think he has a lot of knowledge and he knows his material but be prepared to learn on your own. There is no study guide!
Worst professor I've ever taken he name calls and will call u lazy
Mitch is not an easy instructor but he gives you all the info you need. Just go home, study and go over what he covers. I study with some people in "study groups" that gossip about everything possible and worried about the professor rather than read and understand the material in depth to do well in class. Labs were easy if you came prepared.
PRO: he lets you leave lab early and doesn't make sure if you do it right -attendance isn't mandatory -no book required -no homework or study guides CONS: does not help you in lab uses language that is not appropriate all the things you hear is true no study guides and he skips material
This instructor is too comfortable in his position and doesn't try to each. Book not required. Often calls on students wastes class time. Unorganized. Misses class.
He's inappropriate No study guides Doesn't go to office hours Can't ask questions
Professor voda leaves students with the feeling of being lost. TA GRADES LABS SUPER HARD DO NOT TAKE HIM
he doesnt know how to teach. worst instructor ever
He was really mean the first couple sessions of lab but then he started to become really chill and said he didn't want to be mean. Looking forward to finish this
He's a really bad professor just take someone else. He likes woman a lot
Worst professor out there! He has unrealistic expectations and very critical to his students and others. He has no sense of humility and seems to only point out how everybody in this world is wrong. VERY ARROGANT. It's almost like he has a personality disorder, maybe he does?! Take other professors if possible!
I am taking his lab and his lectures are amazing. I feel like I learned a lot in his lab.
His labs are inspiring. He knows his stuff and he goes beyond just the information in the handouts to teach you. Very informational. I wish he would teach the lecture also.
Informative lectures, but too critical of students. Puts people on the spot. Arrogant. Gives no indication of what he will test you on, basically gives pop quizzes. Smart yes, but not worth the stress. Made you feel stupid.
Professor Voda made the class so much fun. He cares a lot about his students and he really wants to help you pass. He shows you everything and tells you what he expects. Very good overall.
He is a very scary professor but all you have to do is break the ice by doing your work and reading all the material needed before class. You can get away with not doing the reading before each lab as long as you partner does read but he will always go over each lab before starting. Tough grader but makes it clear what he wants for next time
I would say Mitch is a better friend than a teacher. He is cool to conversate with but when it comes down to learning he expects students to now things&make them feel dumb. He gets distracted and doesn't focus on truly helping a student when they are struggling. Grades lab reports easily. If you understand CHEM take him, if not, he isn't any help.
He is intimidating, but don't be afraid; he is helpful and knowledgeable. Don't be afraid to ask questions or to be wrong. He enjoys student participating in class. He connects a lot of the concepts to the real world. His quizzes aren't too hard, but be sure to study if you don't fully understand the topic esp if he emphasizes a specific topic.
Not the best prof. He keeps it real and will call on bs. expects you to read the lab and know it completely when u get to class. Picks on people so make sure to know your things or else he will embarrass you. Don,t miss class or you will have to make it up. look at the syllabus and follow it. write down test days because he does not remind you.
His lab is fun. Shows you how to do the experiment and calculations and then we had to do it. Very funny and found it very helpful when I asked questions about lab or what should I major. Loved his class. His quizzes come from homework. I will take him again in future chemistry classes. he's also available outside class if you need it.
Honestly his not a bad teacher, he demonstrates the labs before you do them. The one you should be worried about is his 4 quizzes, make sure you understand the lab. His the kind of teacher that expects you to understand the concept and be prepared for him to ask you questions and you might feel really dumb. Don't be afraid to try his really chill.
One of the professors who actually performs the lab for you to see. Wants to make sure you really understand the concept, NOT JUST MEMORIZE IT. Intimidating class at first. Gives you good advice on life and school. Make sure to do your readings and be prepared for the quizzes.
Really nice and helpful professor. Talks to you and tries to help you. Dont be afraid. Go and ask! Seems intimidating but he is very helpful if you ask in the lab or office hours. Makes time for you and also performs the experiments so students need just to repeat. Quizzes are so so difficult. Would definitely take him for other classes.
Very intimidating but don't let it get to you. The coursework itself is very straightforward and he does the experiments beforehand so you honestly just have to copy what he does. The quizzes were very difficult.
Professor Voda performs the experiments for you before you actually have to do it. His quizzes come from calculations performed in the lab and they are easy and straight forward. He is very helpful if you ask questions even from lecture. He likes to ask questions, he is funny and made me feel comfortable after the third week.
Professor Voda is a great guy! He helps you and he cares about you. He makes time outside his office hours and actually wants you to do good. He also gives you good advice if you ask. His real life examples are for real. Quizzes are so so, if you study and do the labs you are in good shape. Will take him again for sure if I have to
Professor Mitch was a very nice and accommodating professor. He is one of the best I took and his lab was not that hard. Intimidating at first because he knows so much. After a couple weeks everyone was extremely comfortable with him. Take him because you won't regret. He also explained stuff from outside chemistry if asked. Smart guy.
Professor Voda is an amazing lab instructor. He shows you everything first and explains while he does it and then we had to do the lab. His quizzes are challenging because I was not used to study. After some help I was getting high scores and the lab seemed super easy. I am very happy to have taken his class to learn. Good job professor.
Professor Voda likes to call on students in class so make sure you know your stuff. Homework was doable if you paid attention and tests were straightforward. Helps if you have previous chemistry knowledge.
Mitch is a funny guy and makes the class a lot of fun. He performs the labs first, explains and helps with calculations. Just pay attention and get involved. Easy points if you need them to make up for lecture. Also try to pick his brains and ask about careers. He knows a lot and he's honest with you.
Professor does the experiment first and then we had to repeat it. Also he shows how calculations are done. Gives 4 quizzes which come from what he teaches in lab. Not the easiest but if you prepare it's easy to get almost all points. Learned a lot from his class and I use it now in Nursing school.
Professor Voda is very smart. He explains the concepts really well and he is very thorough. He asks questions in lecture and he stops and helps students that need help. In lab he demonstrates the lab and shows you sample calculations. The best professor I ever had in college. Go to office hours if you need help. He'll help you.
Professor Mitch cares about his students and he genuinely helps us. Go to his office hour to ask for help. he is always there and I improved a lot since I follow his advice. The first professor that really cares to help you and wants you to succeed. Lectures are easy and you need to put time to get good at solving problems. Gooo Mitch!
His lectures are not very clear, tends to go off topics a lot. He doesn't really let you know what will be on the test and usually doesn't cover all the topics that are on it. I have to study everything on my own to understand the topics.
Professor Voda is really caring and he always stops during lectures to help students. Also go to his office hours and he will help you even more. His lectures are pretty straight forward. He doesn't give out study guide but this is college. I love his lecture and the man is easy going. Take him with confidence if you want to learn.
His lectures are very confusing and hard to understand sometimes with his accent. He tends to go off topics a lot. There's no study guide nor given the topics that will be on the tests. He will help you only if you go to his office hours. Tests are the only thing he grades.
Class is not boring. He interacts with you a lot during lectures and outside. He is willing to help outside class and makes time. His office is very small so beware to go a bit early so you can get the spot next to his door. His exams are not hard but require you to go to lecture and practice problems.
Like Voda a lot. Easy going, always willing to help. Class is fun and the learning environment is really good. His lectures are straight up and exams are from the book but you need to study. Will take you again if I have the chance.
He does the labs for you and explains while he does it. Also helps with calculations so all we had to do is get the data from experiment and follow instructions. His quizzes are challenging and if you read you do well. His quizzes come only from his labs. Very helpful and funny. I will take him for other classes.
Professor Voda is a nice teacher. He is not a tough grader, but he does give tougher tests though. They are free response questions most of the time and math related. Personally, I would not take the class again just because I have test anxiety, but he was not too bad. He was nice to me during office hours. Good luck!
Professor Voda is the only professor that i feel like he cares about his students and he helps you outside office hours also. Class itself is not that easy but he helps you a lot. Go to his office hours and talk to him. In lab he also helps with calculations and showing you the lab. Good job professor and I had a great semester in your class.
He doesn't take attendance but you should show up. I enjoyed his class because he is very straight forward in what he wants you to learn and you will will almost never find anything he hasn't taught in an exam. He is VERY accessible outside of class, if you cant make his office hours he will accommodate. Exams, majority are free response. No HW.
I feel like professor Voda put so much effort to help us. He is available outside class time and will help and answer your questions. His test are free response and if you are not good with math you have to learn. I liked his questions from nursing exam. He did a great job preparing me for nursing school.
I would not recommend him. I did not appreciate his comments. He is not very helpful.
Labs and the material is tough as it is. He's inappropriate No study guides Doesn't go to office hours Can't ask questions
I took this professor years after I took him the first time. I have seen him change his teachjf style. He still calls our students but makes less in appropriate comments since he was complained and reported to the board.
Mitch knows his stuff. Very approachable, easy to talk to when I had questions and he challenges you academically. Not an easy lab but I do not expect senior level classes to be easy. If it's easy something is wrong. He helped me with my research project when needed also. Group presentations were the best since no one could copy anymore reports.
He motivates you and makes you study. I had a great time in his class. His stories really made me reconsider to study and get internship. Hes an amazing and caring professor. Highly recommend him.
Professor Mitch is really helpful and it's impossible to fail his class if you write your labs and do the homework for lecture. I got low scores in exams and still got B easily. Make sure you attend lectures because otherwise you fall behind. He goes above and beyond to explain the material. Class is a breeze.
Mitch is hella cool professor. Teaching slow and goes back so you can understand. Helps you when you need help. Gives good advice and he really cares about you as person and student. Walked into chem with fail expectations and he made the class fun.
If you want to get an easy A without study he's not for you. He helps you a lot with advice on how to become successful. I worked hard and I got a letter of rec from professor Voda. I was told by nursing admission committee that his letter weighted a lot in me being accepted. Thank you prof. Keep doing what you do because it's the good way!
Provided examples to the class but did NOT say if solution was correct, usually replied with I dont know Im relying on you guys. Students complained and asked for homework but said that it is the students job to look for practice themselves
Not an easy instructor but you learn a lot if you do the work he expects. He interacts with his students, helps during lectures when I had questions and also has office hours. He is the first instructor to talk about real world and tells us what is expected. I would definitely take him for other classes if I have the chance.
He is very unorganized and made the class so much harder than necessary. He makes the tests last minute, like the day before, so don't bother asking him what will be on the tests since he doesn't know himself. Apart from that he makes snarky remarks in class and doesn't help when you ask questions. I stopped answering because he made you feel dumb.
The worst professor I have ever had. He was condescending & uses a socratic method of lecturing that is intimidating & not approachable. Treats an intro course as though everyone wants to be a chemist or a nurse (nothing against nurses). Test anxiety? Don't take this class. He is unorganized and won't give any information about exams. BEWARE.
Don't be fooled by these good reviews. He is THE WORST lab professor. He is extremely rude and makes you feel dumb. He constantly brings down students. He asks if we have any questions and answers them in the most vague way possible. He also makes you feel dumb if you ask questions. He is extremely unfair when it comes to grading quizzes.
Very unorganized lecture professor. The textbook is online and free, but didn't really follow it in the correct order. He made the midterms on a weird point scale and made them very hard. The questions were mostly never taught to us in class. The majority of my class failed the first midterm. Chemistry is hard but he makes it harder.
Dr. Voda is really good professor. His class comes straight out of the book but his exams were critical thinking and that's why a lot of people struggled because we were taught to memorize. His final was pretty easy and he dropped some points. Going to office hours helped and only a couple of people usually show up.
Professor Voda is not for the ones that are lazy and expect easy A. You have to study in his class and attend his office hours to do well. His exams if you keep up with concepts are pretty easy and he gives extra credit. His style of teaching might not be for everyone. He asks questions and helps you if you struggle. Great prof to take and learn.
if i could rate a professor a zero, i would. he doesnt provide extra credit, hes pretty rude when he answers questions, and if he does, he answers them pretty vague.
Professor Mitch was there to help when I needed. His exams are pretty straight forward. When I asked questions in class he always answered and helped with calculations. He's making us use our critical thinking and that is where most of students struggle. After all he wants your best and to succeed in "life after college".
He helps you so much in lecture and always makes sure by asking if you understand. He cares about students and wants to help you do well in life. His jokes are funny and I always asked questions. Ask questions if you want to do well and don't get intimidated because he is very smart. First class where I was challenged and put effort at CSULA
Smart, caring and easy going professor. If you try to memorize problems then he is not for you. I liked the way he broke down the problems and showed how to solve them. He likes students to think and not memorize. At the end he lowered the percent for grades and some of my friends got higher than expected. I recommend him if you want to learn.
Tolerable for lab, but definitely avoid for lecture. Try to avoid him if you can. This professor was not at all easy to talk to which made asking questions feel daunting. The lab reports were easy to complete, but his quizzes were the real killer. Expected us to complete the quizzes as if we were grad students. If you care for your GPA, avoid him.
Very chill and easy to talk to. If you need help and ask he will help you. Gives a lot of sample homework work. What he taught is easy and I am learning a lot. I like his class a lot because he cares a lot about his students and wants your best.
He is very knowledgable and makes class fun to learn. Connect well what he teaches with where it applies in life. Slow pace and information given is not a lot. He genuinely cares about his students. His math problems are pretty easy if you had algebra. I learned a lot because he teaches live on zoom unlike my other professors.
I had Voda for lab. His class is fairly easy, make sure you do the labs correctly and on turn them in on time. His quizzes are what held me back, they are 6-10 questions from previous labs and he only gives you 10 minutes to take them during class. I never had enough time to finish a single quiz in his class. Overall do not recommend.
He is the type of professor that makes you feel dumb because you don't understand right away. His lab class is straight forward but the quizzes are hard and you must prepare for them. He can be funny at times but was discouraging more often than not. Semi-easy class but he was not a great way to start my Monday mornings.
I had Professor Voda for lab and what held me back was the quizzes. He gave us 13 minutes to do 5-7 question quizzes which was not a lot of time for us. He said that we should be able to do it in that amount of time since he was able to. He is that type of teacher unfortunately. He barely responded to emails which sucked. Take another professor.
Professor Voda is straightforward. His labs consist of pre-loaded videos and he also makes you search for your own videos (no extra credit) which helped a lot. Also you have to turn in a pre-lab. Quizzes were easy but I needed more time to finish. Overall had an amazing time and he is very helpful if you ask.
Professor Voda is extremely knowledgeable and he is very clear in his explanations. I am taking him now and I really like his lectures and also he helps you and explains anything you need again if you need help. Chemistry is not my subject but I like his class a lot. His written problem are challenging but easy when he solves them.
He is clear on his grading and what he expects Most of the students were first years as I was so, not used to college level. For this class do as he says. Do as many practice questions as you need to get it and go to his office hours he considers it. There is no hw just exams which if you put in a few hours a week of practice it's a piece of cake.
Would not recommend if you have test anxiety. He took off 1 or 2 points for a couple lab reports but never gave any feedback on why.
He's a tough grader and has tough quizzes. Great lab teacher and even had mini lect when we did not understand a concept. Lets you leave early and sometimes does the lab himself so you can use his data. Does recommend doing the experiment yourself. Quizzes are a mix of everything so you need to really understand what is going in lab and lecture
He is straight forward in his teaching and genuinely wants his students to succeed.
Mr. Voda may seem intimidating but just wants to help everybody understand concepts. He calls on students to answer questions and uses real world situations to help them understand chemistry. He gives TONS of extra credit and curves the final grades. Grades are based on exams and exams are lecture heavy. Not too difficult but requires effort.
Great prof ! Very straight forward and truly wants you to succeed.
Even though he is not the easiest he is more than fair! Gives tons of extra credit and dropped lower score exam and replaced with highest. I am not doing so well but I appreciate the professor for actually helping and teaching chemistry. I highly recommend.
Mitch is a wonderful lab TA. He comes off strong at first but throughout the course he tends to be flexible if you work with him. Pay attention to how he does the lab. He is one that wants you to succeed, labs are fun but make sure you read before lab or else he will call you out, Also make sure to pay attention as he may call on you at random!!!
He Just speaks his mind and dose not use any slide and dose not give any assignments.
Uses his mind to teach, dose not input grades till the end of the course, dosent assigne anything ,course is based on 3 midterms and one final.
This class is SUPER unorganized. Most of the lecture, he yapped about lab then with the actual topic rushed in the last 5 minutes. He randomly calls on students, which is stressful for those with anxiety. Grades aren't posted. I've learned more from ChatGPT than from this class.
No PowerPoints. 3 sample sheets. Grades aren't posted till after semester. Can't see your written exams, won't know your mistakes, unless u go to office hours. Lectures are so unorganized. Straight A/B student and struggled extremely. could write an essay on how bad. Do not expect to be taught a single lesson by this “instructor".
does not teach well, yaps a lot, made me cry on my final, & was super rude to me for no reason. don't take this class with this prof…only positive note is that he doesn't assign homework and attendance isn't mandatory.
Professor Voda is one of the few that cares about students. Very easy going and helps you when you have questions. A lot of students do not put the effort from what I heard before class. He is straightforward, helpful and had even during finals a review session. Very few students attended.
He is funny, takes his time to help you understand and I never was bored in his class. He allowed cheat sheets, extra credit and gave C all the way to 55%!! Most people do not study but rather blame the professor. I got B because I didn't put so much effort but I always looked forward to his class.
lab lecture is mandatory, lecture isn't. the professor yaps half of the time, expects you to know the answers. he's rude the times iv'e spoken to him.
Voda is straight-forward but fair. He gives plenty of extra credit and drops lowest exam scores - a big help for struggling students. unstuckstudy saved me time on practice problems. Recommended if you put in the effort.
If you want A but you are lazy professor Mitch is not for you. If you want to learn he is very smart and helpful. His engaging teaching style made me realize that I am much better than I thought when I read and put effort. Spends a lot of time on concepts, great at explaining and making use of critical thinking! Best professor hands down!
I don't recommend taking his class, his lectures are awful and his hand writing you can't understand what he writing on the board. He doesn't show you examples and expect you to know them fast. All he yaps about is his personal life and his 4 year old daughter. He'll make you feel bad about yourself.
Not the easiest professor but very fair. Gives extra credit and helps you. Also he is the first professor I take that engages students. Just solve the sample problems he gives before exams and you should be fine. I personally learned chemistry in his class.
Do not recommend. Does not use canvas, textbook, slides, or homework assignments.Your grade based on test and two projects. Lecture is 80% yap/complaining and 20% teaching. He does offer cheat sheets and extra credit but at what cost if you will have to sacrifice 2 years of your life expectancy to make an academic comeback.
PLEASE DONT! NO slides in class, just talks at you. You get made fun of if ur not answering or if ur wrong. If you really wanna do well, get an A in lab and always go to office hours. No other solution! Do not take if pre-nursing!
Best prof! He allows a cheat sheet and gives sample problems before every exam. Prof gives everything and he has a GA to help. I heard students complain on hallway but they never go to office hours or use the GA. If you want to learn I recommend him. Just go to class and ask when in need.
