Mr.Baker is really good at teaching... One of the best psychology teachers i would say!!!

I would definitely recommend taking his course. He makes learning psychology fun and enjoyable. If you don't understand a certain topic that was covered, he will ensure that before you leave his class you have a complete understanding.

Great prof. I loved the comment from an earlier post about "he makes me feel unconfident". His job is not to boost your self-esteem. Your job is to learn and crack the books. This course was easy, because: 1. He reviews for the quizzes, 2. He gives extra help to students who need it, 3.His tests are straightforward, just as long as you study!

He is a great teacher. He fully prepares you for your quizzes and tests, everything comes right out of the notes so attendance is helpful. He uses great examples and is easy to relate to. I would recommend anyone to take him as a teacher, he was one of the best teachers I've had at Moraine.

Easy class. About 6 quizzes all semester. Then the final exam. About 4 homework assignments as well. A good class to take if your busy.

Great instructor! He knows his stuff! I definitely learned from his class. Listen and take notes and you'll do great in his quizzes and exams. He also gives good review! The book was kinda boring for me so I didn't read as much as I should've. Try to do your paper early and have someone knowledgeable to proof read it for you.

Baker is a decent teacher. I did well in his class. Study for the tests, and maybe do some vocab memorizing for the quizzes. Really, the only thing I couldn't stand was his akwardness. I think he has this air to him that he is really awesome, but it just makes him appear really akward. Haha.

Took this class online. Baker is definitely a hard grader. He assigns a large work load and way too many essays and discussion board postings, some of which I really hated. Some questions on tests/quizes are tricky. However, he is pretty helpful if you need it. I guess I would recommend him but be prepared!

He was a good teacher. He told you what to study for tests. I barely used the test book. Took some notes in class but mostly just listened to him lecture using powerpoint. Never fails to answer a question. Very nice and helpful. good looking too.

i would definitely recommend taking mr. baker. Even though he lectured through power point,he helps you understand the concepts. He is always there for extra assistance when needed. His tests aren't all that hard unless you don't study.He is just very nice in general,& he is easy to get along with.Plus he isnt to shabby lookin either :)

Took the online course. Not a very easy class, but he was very helpful every time I e-mailed him - and very quick to respond. Tests are open book, but they are timed, so make sure to at least skim over the covered chapters. Also make sure to give yourself enough time to do the mandatory papers!!

Over all a pretty nice guy. He can be very condescending. He is def not as easy as people make him out to be. He can be kind of a jerk. But the good side i am really interested in what he teaches. Can be a bit boring at times but mostly pretty interesting.

I loved mitch. =] i took his 3week summer course and it was the easiest A i could ever get! there were three tests and only a 8point multiple choice final. EASY! and he tells you that you have to read every night but all you have to do is pick a topic and write a short explination about it. TAKE THIS CLASS!

I think Mitch is a good teacher, the class did not seem hard to me, he gives all the notes to the quizes and assigns only one essay. Its also better not to skip class since there are class activities that you get points for.

The class was just ok. The teacher is really slow at grading which is frustrating when taking a course online. There are a lot of assignments to do, but none are difficult. I agree with another post that his grading is inconsistent.

I loved his class, and if you had a hard time understanding the material in class he would break it down to you so you understood.

Prof. Baker's classes are not blow offs, nor should they be. If you take notes, participate in class, read your book, study, and seek help when needed you will do just fine. By no means are his classes "easy", he challenges you a bit. Don't be intimidated, he's understanding unless you take advantage. I recommend him.

I got an easy A just by coming to class and reading the textbook. Quizes were multiple choice and we were told pretty much what's going to be on the quizes. Take him!!

I took the internet hybrid class, so most work was submitted online. He reserved class then for other things so as to not waste class time with repetition. Not sure how his traditional classes are, taking one is on my list, but reading is essential in the other classes. Lectures go over students' questions and reinforce key points without redundancy. Will answer questions, even if you ask something ridiculous. Don't know much beyond that, but definitely one of my favorite people of all time :D

Online PSY104. Very straight forward. Read chapter, take a test. Several projects in between. PLEASE, read his grading criteria (very strict on deadlines, no excuses). Know how to cite resources to PERFECTION. One mistake will kill your semester; theat's his major focus on the extra projects. There are no second chances. Attention to his syllabus!!

PSY 104 is a very interesting class but you need to make sure you read the text in order to do well and in return, get the most out of the course. The tests and quizzes are challenging but not difficult if you do the reading and take notes. Overall, this is a great course taught by an extremely knowledgable professor.

Mr. Baker was a good teacher. He went over the topics that would be on every test before hand, and explained stuff very well. He will always answer your questions. Just skim over the bolded words in the book you'll be fine, and work on the my life project as long as you hit every topic you'll be good

Professor Baker is a really nice person as well as a good professor. He gives many examples during lecture. Please be sure to take notes especially of the examples he gives in class. Sometimes those same examples end up on the unit exams. He is easy to talk to. He doesn't give much extra credit though. But overall I would take this class again!

3 week class seemed to fly by. Class mixed between discussion and application. He's pretty knowledgable, and I think has high expectations for students. This may make him seem hard to some students, but I found it encouraging and respectful. Workload was very manageable. He's pretty helpful if you need it.

Just finished online final, and passed the class!!! I needed better time management. I agree he didn't send out a lot of communication, but he has constant reminders for everything that's due. I'm not sure what else I need him to say. He responded quickly to my emails when I had questions. Class was easy if you do the work and don't miss too much.

I took his 3 week summer class and it was literally the best three weeks I've ever had in a classroom! Mitch made class so interesting and fun and it was impossible not to pay attention. Yes the work load was heavy, but thats typical for a three week class. just show up pay attention and do the work. Textbook is definitely needed or you wont pass!

I took Mr. Baker years ago, but decided to give him a good rating. Definitely an easy "A" as long as you pay attention in class and do the homework. I remember he would give pop quizzes randomly, not sure if he still does it. Just a heads up. Plus he's his looks will make you want to go class, good looking guy :)

I had his online class. Super duper easy class. All quizzes had unlimited attempts and were all on quizlet. Few writing assignments but did not take more than 30 min out of my time. I logged in once a week and hardly did anything. I recommend. Easy A.

AMAZING! Not only was he a knowledgeable and caring professor but the psychology club sponsor as well. Gave out a lot of online homework and half a week would have in-class assignments(so it's a good idea to show up), but I learned a lot about the how humans develop overtime. I definitely recommend Mitch. NO TEXTBOOK! :)

Hybrid class. This class does require a lot of note taking on your own but the textbook is provided online for free. Lots of extra credit opportunities if you just show up & do your work. If you can take the notes & do the easy online assignments its an easy class. No tests either, just a midterm & a final. Plus Mitch is a cool dude.

I took his 3 week course. There was reading and note-taking HW pretty much everyday (wasn't difficult just time consuming). He gives good responses to questions. He also gives stories and other examples to help understand the material. His quizzes and test were fair. He won't try to trick you on them. The final was also open-note.

I previously had Baker before (in class and hybrid) and he was a great professor then and now. No matter what, as long as you actually try in his class, he will do what he can to help you succeed. A lot of notes, but you benefit from them.

Honestly the class wasnt as bad as i thought, i started off great and ended up doing fair in the class. Which is okay with me, it was an elective. Hes a good teacher, the citations is what made my grade lower. Follow correct grading criteria and do the work and youll pass, overall the class was a good class and he was a good teacher. I had a real hard time adjusting to online from our campus class once campus shut down. He was awesome. Prof. Baker took the time to talk me off the ledge and keep on keeping on. Awesome man, and a lifesaver. Thank you for the individual concern. Take him, he's a gem of a human being.

While Professor Baker is totally adorable and a complete joy to listen to lecture, his grading is TOUGH. The material is interesting and totally worth delving deep into, but it is far from a blow off class. Only take him if you genuinely want to learn (which you should).

Just finished his 3 week class online. Layout was really simple to follow, not like my other online classes. very helpful for me given I was new to online last semester. It made class easy since I always knew when something was due and when and I could work ahead when I wasn't working. Hard to mess up and fail unless you just don't do any work.

He's super cool. Took all 3 classes he teaches. Sucha smart guy. inspired me to stay in school and finish my accounting degree. in-class little better than online but knows his stuff. Not real hard work, but really wants you to think. Only take him if you want to be a better version of yourself. Moraine has easier teachers if u just want credit.

Professor Baker is a nice professor don't get me wrong, but he is just a very harsh grader. His class is all reading and just him lecturing the notes after we read it, but that's not a problem. His class is interactive because he's a cool teacher, but his grading is the only thing I hated because I am a critique of my grades.

Had optional zoom meeting first day to make sure we understood every aspect of class. Assignments due every Saturday and some Wednesdays. Simple and easy assignments and ready-made calendar of class assignment dates. Best class to take if you have other major classes to worry about. This class is so easy, I almost always forget I have it. TAKE HIM!

Class based on free textbook-no meetings! takes about an hour for weekly chapter assignment. Essay or discussion board every couple weeks-pretty easy, but have to cite book for full credit-kinda hard, but easy once you figure it out. Hybrid class only meets once a week has a free textbook. Class is both lecture and activities that we read about. Discussion boards and a few assignments with a final exam. No other tests which I suck at tests so good for me. genuinely enjoy attending his class and is pretty helpful when needed. seems like he likes teaching and has good energy.

took his class as a hyrbrid, he's pretty clear with his directions and what he wants. He's also very specific so make sure to go through every instructions. He can be stern too, felt like he had a upset dad tone in somedays he talked. He uses mcgraw hill for quarys that are due every sunday. One group project, 3- 4 essays.

Hybrid class mix of lecture and lab activities. We do ch. queries online takes about 45min. Big part of your grade, you can do it until you get perfect scores. A few essays but rubrics are super clear. So, just follow the directions you can easily get an A in the course. He definitely knows a lot about psych and pretty easy going and kinda funny.

Genuinely loved Mr.Baker. Normally, a lot of 5 star reviews & nothing but positive comments on RMF are fake, but I seriously recommend him as a professor. There were a little over 20 extra credit opportunities during my course. There were only 2-3 tests and probably 5-7 assignments. He's also a pretty funny guy and passionate about what he teaches.

Easy class with an interesting part of psych I didn't know about. All quizzes open book and just a few assignments that he lets you research your own career. So that was helpful. Recommend it. Oddly needed for healthcare industry class.

Just took his final today and left class with an A. He is an amazing professor, he gives a lot of extra credit opportunities. Super fair, student's fault if they fail the class. Attending class helps a lot. I would take him again if I could.

took as 8 week class, everything was mcgraw hill concepts so it was time consuming because it was an accelerated class, one paper and it was super easy, 2-3 discussion boards, and final exam is a 50 question multiple choice test on canvas (it had random mcgraw hill questions you've done before) ended with an A+, wish he taught more pysch classes.

He's such a nice professor, if you are confused on assignment just send him an email and he'll respond right away and explain it very well. Assignments are very easy and he gives great feedback on them. 100% take them.

Professor Baker, was amazing, I loved his lectures. The class is pretty easy, but you have to have to pay attention. One disadvantage, is when taking the quiz, I was confused on what to actually study or go over before the quiz, causing stress. Overall, class is amazing:)

Great class, responds right away. Assignments are clear and easy, but a little time consuming. Guessing last couple of reviews used gpt and got busted. He's very upfront that he checks for that so keep that in mind if considering, but if you are going to do the work, take him. Easy class and I found him to be nice and accommodating.
