Mullet man!
Really tough, but a good prof. And he has an awsome mullet
No Comments
Very hard, moves very fast. But staring at the mullet is entertainment enough!
Don't get me wrong, the mullet is great...his note outlines aren't too bad either - but, his tests blow goats.
Good prof-- if you put forth effort you will do fine.
Good prof
Strange mullet, we wonder about that. Tests very difficult, a struggle to clarify what is on test and what is not needed.
Fear the Mullet...is it just me or does he remind you of Martin Short? He's a good guy, but he could use some work on clarifying what he's talking about sometimes.

tough class, take good notes
Go to class, take good notes, and study the notes like crazy for the tests. Tests are basically all on notes. If you do this, you'll get an A.
good teacher, definitely not a class for slackers though
Very fast pace, so take notes. Most organized prof ever. The course is very tough for a 100-level, but Freymiller goes the extra mile for students who put forth the effort.
cant stand his voice!!
He's a very clear and straight forward teacher. His tests were difficult, but if you study a lot you can do well. He can be entertaining to watch with the mullet and all.
I had two classes with him. Decent prof. but scary mullet :).
Relatively hard for a 100 level, required course. Go to every class/lab, take amazing notes, compare with a friend to see if you got everything. Go to the reviews and study off your notes because THAT'S where test comes from. Watch the mullet. It bites.
Gives excellent notes, which are what he tests you on. The material is sometimes difficult/confusing, but he does his best to explain it. Class moves quickly. Has review sessions before every test.
Lectures are easy to follow. He has overheads of everything he is talking about. He also outlines the exams (ex. 5 questions on the heart diagram).
No matter what professor you take for these classes, it is hard. You will have to memorize a lot of****! good luck. Freymiller is a nice guy, but gets annoying with his voice. Your hand will probably fall off if you take the 75 min class. :)
Freymiller is so cool! The tests and quizzes aren't exactly the easiest, but the homework is simple.
Well, bio isn't the greatest, but Freymiller ROCKS! He is a super helpful teacher and really helps you understand the material! Tests and quizzes aren't the best, but overall they aren't thaaaat bad if you study... A LOT! good luck!
Alright teacher. Lectures get long and you are constantly writing, but he shows you exactly what to write. You have to study A LOT for tests and sometimes a lot for the quizzes. He makes the labs pretty intersting. Just make sure he likes you, though.
Requires lot of studying and memorization, makes sure you know everything really well, wants everyone to love and understand bio. If you hate science like I did he makes ya work but wants ya to pass with a good grade
Very helpful...but tests are hard
He knows what he is talking about, and expects you to as well. Oh, and ya gotta love the mullet
The class was pretty hard and overall Freymiller was helpful, but the final was extremely difficult. I studied for over 8 hours for it and I'm pretty sure I got about a C on it.
Needs to realize the difference between a bio major class and a GE course. Only lectures. He was probably a good student, but he lacks understanding as a teacher.
Tough classes, but extremely interesting! I loved both of them, 214 is more difficult than 314 though. Rewrite your notes...the 8 hand writen pages you'll take every class period. Lectures are based on the text, so if material is unclear from his notes, read the the book, use the figures in the book
freymiller is a rather knowledgable man but this class seemed harder than a level 100 course. tests are hard, but the labs are fun. you learn a lot and he will help you if you need it.
Freymiller is a cool guy with a mullet that won't quit. He knows his stuff and I believe he presents info in a very comprehendable manner. He cracks a joke here and there too. Good class.
He was a horrible teacher
Freymiller is awesome! He makes it easy to pay attention to the lecture material and is a nice guy.
He didn't explain things well. He glossed over everything without giving any indication of its importance to the subject as whole. He wasn't able to connect the individual, seemingly meaningless, pieces of information together to show why they are necessasary elements of Biology.
freymiller is a reallly smart man. he knows his**** real well. you can tell he is a dork. ALWAYS taking nots in his class and there is ALOT of info you get. tests are very challenging with multiple multiple choice questions. you'll learn alot but its a hard class regardless who you take it w/. always willing to help. LOVE THE MULLET
Have to love the Mullet! Great professor, really knows the subject. Be prepared to take a lot of notes and atleast review matterial for exams or you will do horrible. If you want an A be prepared to work for itbut remember that he is willijng to help you understand and do well. Great Professor

He seems like a geek, but he really knows what he is talking about. He is also very willing to help you out if you are having trouble understanding something.
Professor Freymiller is very knowledgable and helpful. He holds review sessions before every quiz and test and is more than willing to answer any questions. The lectures are jam-packed with material and you have to write a lot of notes. The lecture exams a difficult so review the material a lot before the exams.
Probably one of the most demanding profs. He really gets down into the details when asking test questions. He is more than willing to meet with you, and will always make extra time in his schedule for you. Hard tests, but yes he does a review session.
He picks favorites within the classroom.
Professor Freymiller makes labs fun and interesting, but his lectures can sometimes seem to drag on since we write so much in on class period. It is sometimes hard to write the notes and see what he is doing with the overheads but he gives you an outline of notes that you have to write your notes in.
I really enjoyed Freymiller's class. He is a great prof. He makes the subject interesting and it is fun to go to class. The tests can be hard if you don't study your notes for a couple days beforehand...but you will do fine if you do.
I started out enjoying the class but then the material just gets really monotonous and boring. the lectures go way too fast and i never seem to retain anything.
Rude, talks about sex a lot, and asks detailed questions on the tests. Needs to realize that not everyone is that excited to know every little detail about bio. Too much info during lecture to write down. Lab is what saved me in this class.
This was a challenging class, not gonna lie. One of the units wasnt too bad because it was review, but after that it is a lot of time. This class was by far the one that I spent most time on throughout the semester, BUT Freymiller does his best to make it easier on you with his supplement book to take notes with. I'd recommend him.
Not an easy class, but if you study, and review your notes, you can get an easy B. Freymiller is kind of a nut though.
I have never worked so hard for a credit in my life!Even the bio class I took 20 years ago was easier.Lab saved me, I got a B.He definately has an eye for the traditional age female college students.I was tempted to report him,but never saw him DO anything inappropriate.
Lectures are so boring and contain a lot of note taking. If you don't study your lecture notes religiously you will struggle on the lecture exams.Lab is fairly easy. You're expected to focus your whole semester around this class and spend every waking minute studying for it.Don't take it if you don't have to!
This class was by no means an easy one. I spent hours in the library studying for each lecture exam. The lab exams are pretty easy though. He is very helpful and very clear on what he expects of you. He emails out the topics on each exam about a week before them stating how many questions will be on each. Study A LOT and you'll do fine.
Impossible. I studied for 20 hours for one lecture exam and got a C-. If you have the time to devote every waking moment to this class and plan on ignore the rest of your credits, take this course. Otherwise, wait for Kettler to teach it next semester.
This class has a lot of information, but Freymiller does an AWESOME job getting you ready for the tests. I got an A easily by doing the workbook assignments and getting to class(10 free points COME ON), seriously amazing class I learned a lot. Prob one of the BEST professors on campus!!!
Is a good teacher, very helpful if you dont understand the notes. Make sure you come to class and take the notes with out you'll fail for sure. Tests are indepth so dont expect to pass without some hard core studying. As long as you know the notes you'll do fine.
Great teacher! Class can be somewhat hard at times but he makes things so much easier to understand if you just listen. No need to read the book... tests are based on lecture. I'm definitely glad I had him my freshman year!
He can be tough but is very helpful. Lecture exams are really hard, but lab quizzes are easy. Can be a little too personal at times, but not a bad guy.
Impossible to do well in this class.. Lecture exams are the hardest thing I have ever taken, and lab quizzes are ridiculous.. Don't take this corse. Really nice guy but just to smart... You will be LUCKY to get a C... Beware!
lots of information....
This course is extremely difficult... but it's anatomy, so it can definitely be expected!!! I studied more for this class then I did the first one and it was a lot harder. Go to class, take notes and spend a lot of outside time to study. Good luck!
Professor Freymiller is an amazing professor, I think. He really wants you to do well with his class. He truly knows what hes teaching, well. yes, it is a lot of information, but what else can you expect? If you take this class, it is VERY helpful to print out his slides before class! Also helpful to create notecard/flashcards.
A large amount of material is covered, but he is an awesome prof! Very detailed and has awesome notes. Tests are difficult, but if you study a lot you will get and A! Loved this class
Makes funny nerdy jokes sometimes. Decent lecturer. Gives good notes.
Nicest professor I've met. Extremely helpful and will answer any questions you have. Tough grader though. His tests are pretty difficult.
He's very helpful. What amazes me is that he actually takes time to learn names in a huge lecture. I don't even have him for lab and he knew my name by the second week of class. In other words, he seems to care about the students. The class may be hard and sometimes he goes through notes a bit fast, but he's still a good prof.
Freymiller is a nice guy. His tests are completely on lecture, and are fairly difficult. Doesn't require attendence and all his lecture notes are online.
Freymiller is a teacher who is very interested in the material he presents. He makes you responsible for a lot of material on each test so study hard! Make sure you know diagrams well because he will use the oldest models he has on tests especially in lab exams.
Great Prof! I have had him a few times and yes, there is a lot of material he makes you know, but honestly the reason you are taking this class is probably because you are going into the Medical field. Don't you think you should know this stuff well. Just try your best to memorize basically everything and make sure you look at the models in lab.
He is arrogant and has favorites. He thrives with making his tests impossible. His lectures are rehearsed and tells lame jokes.
I agree, completely arrogant! I called him Dr. F for a long time, until someone finally corrected me and informed me he has his masters, not his Ph.D.! Obviously has favorites (i.e. the ladies), and does not have high expectations, only unreasonable expectations! Oh yeah, I love the mullet too:)
Helpful in labs. Moves kind of quickly and lectures can get pretty monotone.
Impossible, Would not recommend to anyone.
Difficult but interesting class. Study at least a week prior to exams and memorize the material & you should get an A. Take pictures of lab models and scope slides for studying for lab exams. This class was my favorite by far :)
Requires quite a bit of work, but it is for four credits.
Decent professor. Material is extensive and challenging, but if you study hard you'll do fine. Labs are interesting and enjoyable. Exam are all on lecture material. Quizzes are on labs.
Reminds me of Stephen Colbert in a nerdy sort of way. Clear & very willing to answer questions. But even though this class is a continuation of 214, it's 10x harder. Beginning to study weeks before each test is a must. & sign up for one of his labs if possible. Erin Houser is an excellent prof, but SHE does not create the tests - Freymiller does.
Listen during lectures, it'll be very hard, but if you do you'll better understand the materials. He is very helpful and kind. Sometimes makes up words, but very kind and knows his stuff. Also very good at relating the information back to use in the classroom for teachers.
dr freymiller knows a lot!!! there's a lot of info..it's not hard to get an A...he gives you all the info you'll need..tests are based on lecture...he has his notes that you can print off...lab is SUPER easy!!! a quiz every lab but not too bad...lecture's a little boring but pay attention!
Good professor, obviously loves the subject he teaches, and use office hours-great one on one especially explaining lecture details.
He's ok, relatively good to a lot of professors I haven't had. His class is in a huge lecture hall, so you have to try not to be timid and ask away your questions.
Dr. Freymiller is a very difficult professor. Can't follow what he says in lectures because you're too busy writing down notes from the board. His lectures are boring and he tries to cram a lot of imformation into forty five minutes. Tests are difficult. Even if you study, its hard to get a good grade. Don't take this class unless you have to.
I love the material but Freymiller is not a good person to explain. He gives you notes, but reads them off and doesnt give much time for explanation. I could have done just as well on my own rather than listening to him. Has a pretty annoying voice and a boring lecture. Overall the hardest class I have ever taken, work your butt off if you have him
This class has to be the most rediculous class i have ever taken. It's so hard to do well. He grades everything extreamly harsh and never really explains why. Only take this class if its required.
Freymiller is a great professor: he sets up plenty of study groups, he knows what he's talking about, and he obviously likes teaching. Tests are super hard, you NEED to study a lot. He kind of goes fast during lecture, so print out the notes before hand so you don't miss anything.
really freakin hard!
This class is very difficult and you will definitely need to work hard to get an A. The tests and quizzes are very hard and make sure to check all little details before turning in any assignment because he grades very harsh. Overall., it is manageable if you put in the right amount of effort
This class was pretty hard. You must study for exams, and the class reqiures a lot of work. That being said, Freymiller is a prof who's really passionate bio and teaching. Lectures are very fast-paced and somewhat funny. He's very willing to help--he puts some notes online, makes a study guide available, and has study tables and review sessions.
...it is a hard class, but not as hard as everyone makes it out to be. Freymiller has so many different opportunities for students to do well (posting notes online, having study tables, always open to questions at any time). You will study a lot, but you will also learn so much. Hard, yes...but worth it! Take it for sure!
the class and be very easy if you put time into it. study just what is in the notes he gives you never used the book. go to his office hours it helps if something is unclear. dont get overwhelmed keep up and dont procrastinate if you dont keep up you will not do well
Although I only had him for lab, Freymiller is a really good teacher. He's fair and really teaches the material. He's very helpful. If you study you will do just fine.
Freymiller is a good professor. He is very organized and tells you exactly what will be one his tests. Anatomy is a hard class no matter who you took it with, so I suggest taking it with him because he does everything he can to help you. Tests are hard but do-able if you study for them
Gives entertaining lectures and he is very organized. The tests are very fair and he tells you everything that will be on them. If you go to his review sessions you may even see the diagrams on the test. Great prof.
He is the most organized professor I have had at Eau Claire. The class is a lot of work, but he tells you what is on the tests. Even though it has been by far my hardest class here, I have learned a lot!
He's definitely in love with biology. If you study hard, and try hard getting an A or a B is not impossible. The class definitely involves dedication. The final 2 weeks that I'm living through right now are crammed and intense, but overall Freymiller is a really nice professor, with a somewhat annoying voice, but he's definitely a good person.
Very organized professor, but SO many notes you have to take and learn! Lots of information to learn, and very hard work to do so. I wouldn't recommend him for someone looking for an easy A, but you do learn quite a bit. The labs are what saves your grade, but this class definitely requires studying hard. NOT AN EASY CLASS.
Freymiller is def one of the best profs on campus. I won't lie this class is the hardest one I have ever taken, ever, but Freymiller actually wants you to succeed. Will give you everything needed to do that. Go to class, get perfect attendance extra credit, study hard, and you'll be fine. Best class ever. Will miss it.
Freymiller is the best professor I've had. The class is extremely difficult and takes a lot of studying, but it is interesting and Freymiller explains everything clearly. His course supplement is very helpful. He's a really nice guy who wants everyone to succeed and genuinely cares about his students. Take one of his classes if possible!
Freymiller is a completely amazing professor. He is very nice and will help you as much as he can. This class is kind of hard so if you want a good grade you need to actually go. Also the course supplement is a must! It will make your life a lot easier.
Cant answer any question if it's not in the book. Not a good professor.
Freymiller is an excellent professor. It is biology, so yes, there is a lot of information and studying, but it's still managable. He has the course supplement to use for notes, so you never need to open your book, unless you need clarification. Definitely recommend... you'll learn a lot!
I'm not going to say that this class is easy, you need to go to class and study, but it's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be, especially with Freymiller. I got an A+ in the course and science is by far my worst subject. He's so entertaining when he teaches :)
Freymiller is a great prof. He is crystal clear, articulate, and tells you EXACTLY what you need to know. The only hard part about the class is putting the gigantic amounts of info. into your memory. Freymiller makes a hard class do-able. He's really nice too, and he tries his best to learn your name.
Not much to say, he did an admirable job. The biggest boon was the subject matter itself and the biggest hinderance was the environment. A large, warm room at 8AM is simply not a great environment for learning. He is however, very open if you have questions or concerns.
This class is a lot of work and I would advise you to take it only if you need it. There are about 8 lab quizzes, 3 lab exams, and 3 lecture exams each semester. The reading for class isn't necessary to do well if you pay attention. Freymiller has some off humor, but he's a nice and helpful prof.
This class has a bad rap by students. However, if you put the time in to study the VAST amounts of information for the tests and labs you can get an A. Freymiller is a great professor who is extremely helpful and has review sessions before each test.
Prof Freymiller is by far my favorite professor so far! He's always straight to the point and he always teaches you exactly what you need to know and doesn't fill your head with nonsense info that's not important. The exams require a lot of studying but there are no surprises. He always tells you exactly what is going to be on the lab quizes too.
I am APPALLED on how high of ratings freymiller got. I absolutely hated his class with a passion! I had an A+ in Adv. Honors Bio in high school. I took this as a freshman and I went to class EVERYDAY, had a tutor weekly, and study for hours on end and STILL ended up with a C- in this class. He thinks he's cool cuz he has a PHD. big whoop.
Even though you have to put in the time and effort, Mitch is a great professor. Tells you EXACTLY what to expect for everything, and helps to create helpful study habits. TAKE HIM.
Awesome professor. He is crystal clear on what you need to know for tests and quizzes. He is always willing to answer questions, and even gives 10 pts extra credit if you never miss a lecture. The material itself is tough, but he is a fair teacher. Take him if you can.
he really cares about the students we are his life, will answer questions dumb or hard. Studying is needed but if you use the course supplement you'll be good, 314 is alot hard then 214 though so beware.
Freymiller if my favorite professor so far at this school. Though I didn't do well in the class (214 was a little easier and I got a better grade), he is an awesome professor. I would recommend him to anyone taking A&P. The content is hard, but if you put in the effort he is always willing to help you and explain things. He is very organized as
Freymiller is a great professor! Although this class is extremely difficult it is definitely still possible to get an A. Study the course supplement! He is crystal clear about expectations for lab quizzes/exams. 10 pts EC if you're there for every lecture. He's extremely helpful and great at answering questions. Nursing students take him!!
Freymiller is a nice professor. Class is extremely hard and you have to be prepared to put a LOT of hard work into the class, but it is pretty easy to get a decent grade overall. Be ready to do a lot of studying, especially study the course objectives in the course supplement.
Asks way too much ..either a quiz or test basically every week (quizzes are basically tests) sometimes both the same week...big assignments due weeks of test so you have no time to study and get bad grades...impossible to do well in class unless you love biology
Freymiller is one of the best teachers I have had so far. His tests are difficult, but he is ery friendly. He makes sure to tell you what exactly is on the tests. Notes are also very easy to understand. Very helpful! Take. HIM!
Freymiller is the toughest professor I've had. He wants you to learn the material, but he really makes you earn your grade. Take the good with the bad in that you will learn, but your GPA might take a small hit. Tricky questions on tests sometimes, but study hard and you'll do alright. Pretty good professor, tough class.
Tough class, be prepared to study ALL the time if you want an A, sometimes it seemed that the lecture and lab were two separate classes that you have to study for.
He's a tough professor. You really need to work for your grade if you want a good one. Lecture and Lab are basically two separate classes therefore there is a LOT of studying. Really know your stuff for exams!
As a bio major, I found this class to be not that challenging as I am use to the rigorous bio curriculum. However, it does require a lot of memorization. Lab and lecture are essentially two separate classes. Tests consists of multiple choice, T/F, and one written/labeling component.
This class is really hard. Lab's exams are much easier than lecture's exams. 3 lab's exams and 4 lecture's exams including the final. There are so many stuff to study for Lecture's exams. It would be a great idea to study everytime right after lecture's notes are taking.
Freymiller is a great prof. Everything you need to know for tests are through his powerpoints--no book use. A lot of memorizing but hey its an anatomy class. He's very clear on what you need to know. Tests are easy as long as you study the course supplement. 10 points extra to your semester grade if you come to every lecture. Overall-easygoin class
This class is hard. But most of you need it and it is best taken with Freymiller. Lab stuff is not hard if you study for it. I am much better with the anatomy stuff so I did A work in lab. Lecture exams are very difficult, but if you do well (A's) in the lab stuff and get B-'s in lec you will be ok. I managed to pull an A- in the class.
Freymiller does his best to make an impossible class not so bad. Its a difficult class, but he is crystal clear on his expectations and lecture material. He does a great job of managing a class that difficult.
If you have to take anatomy, take it with Freymiller. This class is the most work I've ever put into a class, but it's not Freymiller's fault that anatomy is difficult. He can be annoying, but he is a great professor that is ALWAYS willing to help any student that tries.
Professor Freymiller is probably the best A & P teacher on campus. He is super helpful if you don't understand something and he is really clear on what you need to know for exams. Anatomy isn't an easy class regardless of who your professor is, but I highly recommend Freymiller to anyone!
I had him for lecture but not lab, so quiz and homework information was not always made clear. His lectures are fast paced and there is a lot of information to remember and understand for his tests. If you plan to do well, fill out the course supplement, study a fair amount, and put some effort into the papers.
GREAT I REPEAT GREAT TEACHER! Lectures are at a perfect pace, he provides annotated notes for every single powerpoint. Overall great class but you do have to work for your grade! He is extremely helpful and knows exactly what he is taking about. He went out of his way to know the names of all 150+ students.
Professor Freymiller is AMAZING! I hate biology, but he was so friendly and helpful. He took the time to learn everyone's name. If you have a chance, take him!!
Professor Freymiller is great! He is very friendly and helpful if you ever need anything. This class is hard, and requires a lot of time and effort. The tests contain a lot of information but if you show up and put effort into it, you'll do just fine!
He's such an excellent professor. He's always willing to help and is clear as far as what he expects from us. If you don't have an interest in anatomy and physiology, you'll suffer in the class. But if you love it and work hard, you'll do just fine in his classes. SI sessions really helped me out, too.
Awesome professor. He is very clear about what will be on the exams, and breaks them down by category. He will even show you the diagrams that will be on the exam during the review session. You also get 10 extra credit points for attending all the lectures.
SUCH a good professor! He is so helpful and very clear about what will be on the exams. He has high expectations, but he is very willing to work with students to help them succeed! Take advantage of the attendance bonus and the lab extra credit. Review sessions are super helpful and he shows you the diagrams for the exams. GREAT professor.
He is an awesome teacher. Class was hard, but you can still manage an A if you do not cram before tests. Take this professor.
Get ready to WORK like you've never worked before. Tests are hard. Quizzes have questions made to trip you up. He's inconsistent about expectations too. For test 1, it focused on minor details in subjects, and for test 2 it focused on much broader categories. Lab tests SUCK. The buzzer will terrify you and the questions are very difficult.
very hard class, must work for your grade. good professor, just a lot of memorization
Freymiller is probably one of the best professors I've ever had! He really knows his stuff and makes learning difficult material very manageable!
Freymiller is the BEST professor on this campus, in a lecture of over 250 people he still knows my name. Extremely difficult class but SO much easier with Freymiller. I failed with Kettler and now I'm getting a great grade, seriously take it with Freymiller, you won't regret it. He makes you work for your grade, but its definitely worth it.
Hands down best professor I've ever had, he genuinely cares about each and every one of his students. Out of a lecture of 250+ people, he still knew my name. DO NOT take Bio 214 & 314 with Kettler, Freymiller is an absolutely amazing guy, and an even better professor.
Freymiller is very organized and has the entire semester planned out ahead of time. He is very clear about his expectations. He holds open labs and review sessions. Annotated notes are provided so that you don't have to rush to write everything down. These classes have TONS of information so be prepared to study your butt off! Overall great prof.
Giant lecture hall, knows everyone by name. Hard tests but if you're into science and work hard, you'll do well. Had Kettler over the summer and it was HELL--Freymiller is WAY BETTER. I actually study to learn, not just to memorize, and I end up doing well on the tests, because his tests truly test you for understanding. Helpful and organized.
good
not good
mitch freymiller is easily one of the best professors on this campus. his class will take over your life, but if you are willing to put in the effort, he is willing to do whatever he can to help you succeed!
This class is tough, not going to lie. But Freymiller is a great teacher and makes the class less awful. Never read the book cause he goes over it anyway. Try to stay on top of studying cause it will pile up fast. There are 4 lecture exams and 3 lab exams. Try to get a good lab partner. I didn't think the SI Sessions were helpful for this class.
One of the hardest classes I've ever taken. Prof Freymiller is still super helpful and tries to know everyone by name (out of a lecture of almost 300 students)
As a nursing major who had to take this class he's the better option. He goes through the material quickly so don't think about getting behind. All of his tests come from his notes not the textbook and be prepared to study really really hard. His tests are reasonable and he asks fair questions.
Freymiller is a really great professor and I would recommend him over Kettler any-day. However, this class takes A LOT of studying, more than any class you will have taken before. Expect A LOT of material and A LOT of hours (20+ per week) studying for this class.
Anatomy is a tough class no matter what, but Professor Freymiller is by far the best instructor you could have. His exams are very hard, just because there is so much information covered, but the lab portion of the course can help to make up for it. I would highly suggest going into open lab and office hours and don't be afraid to ask questions!
Anatomy is a tough class, but Freymiller is a great professor. He is very clear in the breakdown of his exams, and lets students know what he expects. I thought lecture was tough, but the lab portion can really help out your grade. Don't fall behind on the material, but definitely take him as a professor. Gives extra credit for attendance as well.
Anatomy is a very hard class, but Professor Freymiller teaches and organizes the class in the most beneficial way. He truly wants you to succeed, so if you have questions make the effort to ask him in lecture, lab or office hours. There is a lot of material for lecture, so keep up. 10/10 recommend. He is the bomb dot com. I learned so much!
Bio 214 is a tough course. Freymiller makes 8am lectures interesting and fun. Expect A LOT of studying. You don't want to fall behind or it will only make it more stressful to catch up. There are weekly lab quizzes along with 4 lecture exams and 3 lab exams. On the bright side, NOTHING IS CUMULATIVE!! The final is just like any other unit test
Freymiller is an amazing professor, one of my favorites. He genuinely wants you to succeed but makes you work for it. The lab and lecture exams are not cumulatives, gives extra 10 points for going to lecture and also for lab, iclickers count as a grade, and rounds up grade if .2% away. I recommend keeping up with the class as you learn the materal
Freymiller is a great professor but the class is extremely difficult! You need to put a lot of work in if you want to succeed. I highly recommend attending SI session. Very interesting class, fun but hard!
The class is tough but fair, you have to put in a lot of work for it however he has extra credit points all over to help you. Great professor, lectures are never boring. You print out notes and bring them to class. Exams are hard but doable. He sets you up for success. If you dont miss more than 1 class, thats 10 extra credit points added.
Freymiller is a tough professor, but he's fair. He genuinely cares about his student's success & offers you many opportunities to get help/get extra points. His grading criteria is clear and he tells you exactly what to expect for every test ahead of time so you can be prepared. The lecture exams are difficult, but they are doable.
I love Professor Freymiller! He is so caring, makes sure everyone has a chance to succeed in his class, and even remembers your name even though he has so many students. The class is a lot of material, but he's awesome! Definitely would recommend him.
Freymiller was by far one of the best professors I have ever had at Eau Claire. Yes, he writes quite difficult tests and expects you to know lots for exams and labs, but its very beneficial (especially when trying to get into the nursing program)! He truly cares about his students, though so don't be afraid to stop in at his office hours.
The material for this class is very hard and time consuming to learn. Professor Freymiller does a wonderful job of teaching this class. He offers his own study sessions before exams that really do help.
Freymiller is the best! Great lecturer and really cares about his students. Take him for lecture and lab if you can, he is very clear and gives tips and tricks in lab also. His tests are extremely specific and challenging but doable, as long as you study! Posts outlines of his exams a few days before. Course supplement for course is also helpful!
Professor Freymiller is the best! He is very clear about what he is putting on tests, is very clear when lecturing, and gives very detailed outlined notes. This class is hard but Freymiller is always willing to answer questions and help. Lab and lecture I would 100% recommend!
Professor Freymiller is great to take if you need BIO 214 and 314. He gives you annotated notes that help with lecture and gives you detailed descriptions of what to expect on the exams. It is a very difficult class, but doable with Freymiller.
Really good professor who cares about his students. Always willing to help in office hours or during lab. Fair grader and makes it clear what you need to know. You have to put in the work to get a good grade but all the material is in the notes.
Anat&Phys is the hardest class I have taken so far, but thank god I had Prof Freymiller. I would take him again for any class in a heartbeat. My class had 230ish students and he knew most of them by name. Be prepared to study your butt off but he will tell you exactly what you need to know.
Hardest class I've taken so far. Biol214 will take over your entire life if you plan on passing. Be prepared to study extremely hard for his lab and lecture exams. The quality of his lectures overall is fantastic and he is an extremely knowledgeable professor, however his expectations for students far exceeds realistic standards.
This class is very hard and very overwhelming at the beginning. But freymiller is the best professor that you could ask for this class, make sure you ask him questions if you don't understand something. Just a study tip I used only quizlets for everything and that really helped me to good in the class.
This class is difficult. In order for me to end with my A, i was constantly studying for this class. The content itself is not that difficult, but the enormous amount of info on each test is very overwhelming. With both lab and lecture, the content piles up. What helps is how clear he is with what you need to know and how open he is for questions.
Bio 214 is a course you are most likely taking for your major. This class is very difficult but you can succeed as long as you put in the work. Go to SI sessions and study at least 2 weeks out before every exam. He is always very willing to answer questions. He genuinely wants his students to succeed. He is very knowledgeable & class is interesting
Freymiller is seriously the best professor I have ever had he cares so much about his students and really tries to help you understand everything even though Anatomy and Physiology can be a lot at sometimes.
Hands down best professor I have every had and probably will have. He never made me feel inferior when asking questions and was very encouraging. This class is very challenging but he made me LOVE what I was learning! UWEC will be losing a great professor when he retires. There is no one like him, you'll regret not taking BIO214&314 with him.
By far the best professor. He makes an effort to get to know each of his students, gives you all the tools you need to succeed, and makes the class fun. I learned so much from him, take him if you can.
