This teacher is awesome. Very patient and explains thoroughly. I was never good at math and made it easy, doesnt grade homework. Will go over anything for you a dozen times if you still dont understand. She wants you to do good. A teacher who actually makes a difference.

I agree with the above statement, she is very good teacher and also adds humour in her lessons which is nice ice breaker in relation to math. She's really good with tests and cuts you some slack. Overall, she's really good at what she does and a pleasure to learn from.

I really enjoyed this professor. She explained the material well, took time to answer questions and was helpful when you did not understand it. The quizzes and tests were fair. She has a sense of humor and was personable. I recommend taking this professor. Pay attention in class, do the homework and you will do fine.

I am a total spaz at Math and I mean to calculate two numbers I have to use fingers and toes . . . . She is really good at making the topics appear easy and very clear . basically a good teacher if you know how to read your book. she follows the book EXACTLY using powerpoint presentations. HATES CELL PHONES!!!!no really, dont EVER let one ring, she kicks you out, even during a test, and yes, you can get a zero on it. a good teacher if you not that great getting to class all the time, like i said, just read the book

She is very helpful and when it comes to breaking down information she is tops. She will dedicate her time and patience to helping you to understand the work. She also brings the outside world to the classroom. She is a by the book person but she does not only work from a textbook. When enrolling in this class she is the best teacher to choose.

I like Dr. Fulwood, she's a great teacher, she will make sure that every student in her class understands the material. I think very highly of her and she's the best math teacher @ bcc north. But beware she is very by the book and will not budge not matter what.

If your serious about your future and want to understand Algebra take her, if your not planning on working hard, dont take this class because this class is for serious students. Very helpful she can know if your serious or not (your grades will show)Highly recommend!!

She's a great Algebra teacher, but if you dont like fast paced learning then she's not the teacher for you. But she is devoted to her students and is clear in her teachings. There's a quiz everyday, and 7 tests, plus the math lab. You must show up everyday in order to keep your grade up. She also does tutoring with her students out of class.

I always sucked @ math. I quit college years back because I could not pass this class. I was only planning to get a C just to pass, but ended up with a B. She explains everything perfectly and even gives an awesome review for the tests. You have to study and practice or you will fail. If you are weak in algebra you will come out a whiz in the end.

Definitely not the nicest teacher, but is without a doubt an excellent teacher. She has a great teaching style and is very thorough on what will be on the test. Also offers extra credit. If you attend class and study a lot, it will be easy.

Very Helpful, Tells you what items the tests will have. Allows opportunities for extra credit and opens up the electronic homework/quizes near the end of the class-so it you missed you can make it up!

Ms. Fulwood is a no nonsense prof. who gets right to the point. Shes not here to waste anyones time, including her own. If you do the work, study, take notes, and attend class she will make math not only interesting (she has many funny sound effects) but much more likeable then one who dosen't like math would believe. She is a wonderful teacher.

she is a great teacher if you have questions she has no problem answering. i wouldnt reccomend skipping her class if you are there every class period it is impossible to do bad

Fulwood for MAT and STA. brilliant teacher with an excellent sense of humor. she strives to make students understand and appreciate the subject. takes plenty of time to help with slower students. anyone that complains about her 'WANTING' students to drop her class or get low grades probably does'nt take the subject seriously. Professor Fulwood knows her stuff, she is very helpful, and will go over the problems you tell her from the homework. She is fun at 8am and will keep you awake! I came from MAT0024, so this math was very hard for me, thanks to Prof Fulwood I am hoping to come out with a B. She is very clear, just make sure you ask for help if you need it!

She's very mean but fair. I hate math but looked forward to going to her class every time. She goes fast but she also takes the time to explain if you have questions. The ones who give her low rating probably are the ones who cant turn thier cell phones off in class!

One of the best math teachers at BC, Statistics online and I hate math usually. She made everything very clear in the syllabus, gave extra credit, was online every Saturday morning to answer any questions, and did Calculator Corner which showed each step of how to do problems on the graphing calculator. Take it online if you have the option.

Professor Fulwood is extremely cool and fair and wants the best for us..She goes a little fast in her lectures but will explain if you dont understand. If you hate Math take this professor and spend a lot of time doing the homework and I guarantee you will be successful.

She cares about her students but at times she can come off rude. She knows her stuff when it comes to math she will go above and beyond to make sure you understand but you have to let her know. If math is one of your weaker subjects, I guarantee you will learn something in her class and pass with flying colors. Take her she is the BEST!

Mrs Fullwodd is a great professor. I hated math. This is my first year of college and I haven't had math since high school back in 97. She made me feel really comfortable. Always answered any questions we had. Wish she taught 0024, however I will take her for 1033.

The best thing since slice bread! One of the greatest online instructors I ever had. She responds to every email promptly and is crystal clear in her explanations. However, she is as tough as nails. Do not expect her to spoon feed you. You have to put the time and effort in her online courses. I give her two thumbs way up!!

Best professor ever! Made the hardest subject ever understandable and shes really nice willing to work with you and wants all her students to pass.

Her tests are super easy! She lets you know what's going to be on them, pretty much the last couple of lessons she taught. This class requires common sense. She makes class fun at times with her remarks. Attendance is much needed in order to pass. If you miss a lecture, you will be lost.

The Professor is very fair. She uses technology like MyLabsPlus which is very helpful to me in practicing math and all the steps for diff problems, she also shows us how to use the graphing calculator so most of the steps are completed, as long as one knows the steps to the formula the answers will be correct. Attendance & being on time is priority

she loves to talk. she has her own personality and allows you to talk to one another to understand the work. Alot of energy! She makes the course easier. DO YOUR MY LABS PLUS! Or you will fail. Laziness is the dumbest thing you can do in her class. If you fail, it's your fault. She makes statistics understandable. Mitzi is very great.

Mitzi was very good, she gave quizzes that helped out a lot since it is so much material to cover in such a short time. She helped you with My Labs Plus also. If you read and pay attention and do your homework, she's an easy A.

Dr. Fulwood wants you to understand the material, she cares! she does an extensive review before every test that is almost too generous. She knows math is a hard subject, but she doesn't spoon feed you. she's extremely fair! also gives extra credit opportunities and curves every test about 5-10 points which is pretty lit

She is very fair. Do the mylabsplus religiously. Go to the lab to get extra credit for quizzes. Show up on time because she starts on time, and plus you look dumb asking questions she's answered 3x already. She gives reviews and gives you an outline of what will be on the test. If you fail its on you. She very upfront.

Dr. Fulwood was cool. She appeared to be rude but she really wasn't. It was more because she had a lot of students that would talk so freaking much. She threatened to call security a few times, but that was a last resort due to excessive talking. When I spoke with her one on one she was really cool & caring.

Professor Mitzi Fulwood has shown me that a good communication is necessary to make each other aware of our misunderstandings. I started really bad and ended up with a meeting with her. After that, I saw how a great professor, well organized, and well prepared she is. She does everything possible so her students can succeed and pass the class. :)

Tests are very easy compared to what she teaches in her lectures and you probably shouldn't skip too much. All the homework is on my labs plus and there is a pretty good amount of it but i appreciate how she teaches you a lot more than what you need for the test so they always seem easy

She is AWESOME!! I hate math and I got A's in both classes I took with her. She is helpful and she makes sure you understand the material. Not too much work, there are 10 quizzes but she tells you exactly what will be on the tests and quizzes. Take her!! She is great!!

She is good if you study on your own. What she says is going to be on the test is on the test. One of the BEST Stats professors I have taken. But YOU have to put in the time and effort into passing.

Shes tough but shes fair if you put in the work I was so worried about this class especially since I took it in the summer plus I had a job but a lot of studying plus going to the math lab was a huge help if you want someone to baby you dont take her class but if you can really focus and work hard and if you are bad at math like me take her

Great teacher, really care

Honestly, she's great. Personality wise, she is funny and yet savage at the same time. As a teacher she is great as well. My only advice is to do what you have to do for your grade. She gives homework on mylabsplus, easy A because you can do them however many times you want. And extra credit, theres lots of it. STUDY FOR QUIZZES, easy A as well!

She is very tough, but a great teacher!!!! I thought she was going to be hard at the beginning and she will be if you do not pay attention and do your homework. Gives a lot of work but totally worth it, I would take that class again 100%

Professor Fulwood is an excellent teacher if you work with her. She is very friendly and caring with a no-nonsense attitude, which makes for a great learning environment. She is very clear about how she wants her tests and quizzes done so take every assignment seriously! Every point counts. I would recommend her for anyone seeking higher education.
