I had him in Bio 13 12 week and in Bio 14 6 week. He is very helpful and very explainable even though, he doesn't speak english very well. BUT who really cares, as long as he explains well and answer all your questions, he is just a fine young man.

Greatest professor and extremely helpful when you ask for it. Little english problem but this not english class. Realy cares and always hepl alot when you come to his office.

He is a very good professor; especially once you get used to his accent. Interacts with students, very friendly, and helpful outside of class. His labs are easy, and so is the project. I found his Bio 14 class to be much easier compared to the Bio 13 class that I took with a different professor.

he is a prof that will finish everything on the lecture sheet and start on a new topic 10 mins before class ends. he is strict on his lectures and does not like any disturbing or any kind. pay attention to his lectures and focus on studying before time. he is also kind with grading, so overall he is a good prof.

His is not a hard class but its hard getting help from him if you're not one of his pets. He's always dismissive even when you go to his office. He's not mean but he always seems like he's busy with other things and doesn't want to waste his time helping students. Beware his lab quizzes. He doesn't clarify what will be on them.

This professor is a very nice man. He explains very well, he has a slight accent but trust me that you will get used to it. Just be nice to him, dont be late, and treat him with respect. I handed in all my labs the last day of class, got 80's on all of my tests and still got an A- for the class...

Professor Lakrim is an excellent teacher. He knows the material very well and cares about his students. He made up handouts for every chapter he went over in class, some students did not even buy the $140 book. Any student that says anything bad about Prof Lakrim is probably an idiot. Check there grammar and you'll see

Mr.Lakrim is a great professor who is enthusiatic and passionate about the subject he teaches. Yes, he does have a strong accent but that's easily remedied by PAYING ATTENTION. He can be tempermental but is an overall nice guy.His exams are easy. The secret to doing well is taking good notes and reading the chapter. Do that, and you'll get an A.

Mr. Lakrim is the nicest guy and great teacher. His exams are not overly difficult but you need to know the material and he makes sure you do ( if you come to class). The class becomes a mini family overtime and he is the patriarch. He doesn't believe in ppt so be prepared for your hands to work out from all the writing. You learn more this way.

Great professor, very fun, but got a B when I had a 90 test average, did all the homework and had 90 avg on the projects! Good attendance as well.

Well, at first I thought his lab was going to be a bit difficult. He actually makes you learn. There is a quiz every two weeks and he drops the lowest of the five. Dont screw it up!!

Obviously the people complaining are just lazy. Professor Lakrim has office hours which one can go ask him anything he is helpful. As far as him picking favorites it is called encouraging others that show effort! He is a wonderful educator!!

This professor has favorites but his favorites are those who study a lot and care about this course material. If someone complains getting a lower grade, that's because of their disrespect to the professor and the course. For example, If you show late each class, that's disrespectful. He loves what he does, and he really cares about his students.

Lakrim isn't for you. you need to PAY ATTENTION every minute. his notes are very effective and he has funny stories to help rmbr material. it's ALOT of writing (you need to write fast bc he doesn't post his notes)but supplemented w/ the text, you can def get a hard-earned A! he's my fave professor by far!

Professor Mohammed Lakrim, he will come at you like Mohammed Ali and take jabs only to make you realize what have you been doing wrong your entire life with every classes you have taken so far and help you bring out your Mike Tyson to get that top grade. This man is hilarious. He has a great sense of humor and isnt afraid of saying things out loud that shouldnt be said lol. He hates lateness and absences, and will pity you if you get on his bad side. so dont expect to fool around.

This was my first 6 week course and I was very nervous about it, but he made this very clear. On the first day he gave the syllabus with all class info and test dates so you werent surprised about anything. All test were on the information he provided in class and nothing else. He drops the lowest grade which helps. Can appear tough but he cares.

Professor Lakrim wants for his students to understand the material. He spent time outlining the entire course and making sure we knew exactly what each test would cover. He wants everyone to pass. Professor Lakrim was one of the most unintentionally funniest professors I've ever met, at first he's a bit complicated to understand but you get used to it quickly, trust me. He loves his subject and you can clearly see by the happiness on his face when he lectures. There is no homework, but he is VERY STRICT with submitting your tests on time.

He is not as hard as you all say he is. If you want hard take glazer! Just listen to him even if his accent is hard to understand. So my previous review was a 0, I tried to change it to become a better review but unfortunately I can't. I changed my mind because the first week I felt like the timing for test was totally unfair. If you make study guides and pay attention you will pass! If you want to learn, take this class. There is a language barrier though cause of his accent.

Professor Lakrim's method of teaching is composed of lecturing only. Great professor overall, not as bad as many make him out to be and I learned a lot from his class. The timing on tests was intimidating at first but if you study hard, you will pass with a good grade. He will not give out a grade you don't deserve, get ready to earn the grade!

Professor Larkim made every topic logic flow and connect with the next topics and subtopics, so If you pay attention in his class and review his lectures, then, you will find Bio 1200 interesting, fun, and difficult to forget.

As a person, he is absolutely wonderful and funny if you are on his good side as a class. PARTICIPATE no matter what. STUDY every chance you get. 3 exams, 6 quizzes, and a final. lowest grade from quiz and test gets dropped. no homework other than review/study. If you are not actively in class, he'll get angry and yell. PAY ATTENTION or fail.

Prof. Lakrim knows his stuff, he's fair/deeply passionate about teaching. I find him kind, funny, and relatable. He reminds me a lot of my father (RIP), which makes me respect him even more.
