great teacher, i actually learned stuff. his tests are kind of hard (sort of tricky wording) but if you study and understand you'll be fine. seriously, he's a great teacher. i finally understand this stuff!!!

good teacher, veryyyyyy funny guy but his tests are hard.the questions require you to thoroughly know the material. he doesnt make them himself but uses the state tests.

He has a great sense of humor. You MUST pay attention in his class and take notes as his tests are based, not on his handouts, but on his class discussion. His lectures are clear and his notes are helpful. The tests come straight from the lecture, so don't miss any classes if possible. If you show up & pay attention, you will do well in his class. His explanations are simple, he's a good teacher.

If you want to actually learn something Dr Assad is the professor to take, he is really thorough, his test are challenging and often involes critical thinking. He lays the foundation of what to expect as you take higher level subjects such as nursing classes that involve alot of critical thinking.

Tests are generally hard; they seem easy, but like another user said, they involve critical thinking,you have to be careful. This is a class you will work hard in. Dr. Mohammad Asad is an awesome professor. You acually learn in his class instead of just doing busy work. He's very funny and keeps the class interested. He's very helpful and easy to understand. He has a very laid back attitude. His test can be tricky and its very important to write down everything he says during his lecture. I def. recommend him

Dr. Asad is awesome! He explaines the material in a realistic way to help you understand and relate back to real world issues. Take alot of notes in his class - it will be on the test. Have had to use the text book rarely. Don't cram, study through out the week and you'll be fine. Great learning experience. Taking him for A&P2.

He teaches like you are in Medical School trying to get your PhD. Cool guy, very informed but the first test 75% of the class failed it. DO NOT TAKE HIM if you dont have 40 hours a week to devote to studying. I'm warning you-it's serious.

Beware if you are taking other classes or work be prepared to get a low grade. His tests require critical thinking and need to review everyday for tests. DO NOT CRAM or you will not do good. Best advice is invest in a recorder for his class and review everyday or make flash cards. He translates hard to understand items very good.

Great teacher you can tell Dr.Asad loves teaching. This class isn't easy but when is Anatomy easy?? He bases his tests off notes and his handouts never uses the book in class - ...overall great teacher

Took him for lab. Very clear and clean cut as to what he wants you to know. I thought the midterm and final was very fair. You HAVE to study, but then again, what anatomy class do you NOT have to? He gave bonus questions on the exams for extra points. I thoroughly enjoyed his class and wish he was teaching 1086!!! Highly recommended!!

Awesome teacher. You must attend class because whatever is explained in class will be on the test.He's clear about what is expected. Tests are from handouts. Just study hard and you will definitely pass this class. Same for the lab!

I got an "A" in this class. It's true that he doesn't care if you fail and doesn't curve. BUT he is very clear about what he wants and concepts you have to know. YOU HAVE TO STUDY ALOT! You have to spend alot of time in the anatomy lab at North Campus. If you don't have to time to study alot then he is not for you. I got an A and you can too.

DR ASAD WAS EXTREMELY HELPFUL AND INFORMATIVE TEACHING ANATOMY. HE WAS EXTREMELY PROFICIENT. HIS TESTS ARE DETAILED AND ATTENDANCE IS MANDITORY, BUT HE MADE IT FUN LEARNING THE SUBJECT! I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM FOR ANYONE GOING INTO THE MEDICAL PROFESSION!!!!

This professor knows his material well since he is a medical doctor and has been teaching the A & P for many years. However, he is very insultive in class if the student does not know an answer to one of his questions even going as far as mentioning grades. He also seems to come to classes tired and hungry with a very short fuse.

This Professor knows is stuff, he cant force you to learn. He gave the material.He can hold your hands and teach you to walk. join a group and make the A&P lab is your best friend

Awesome professor! Not an easy class, he expects you to study your stuff. I got an A, but I studied hard for it. Sometimes he'd ramble off topic, but he kept the class entertained. I always had fun in his lab.

Very hard professor. His tests are tough, you need to know your stuff. He knows his stuff and expects you to know it too. If you don't not have a lot of time to study do not take his class! Never take him for summer terms too much information that he expects you to know inside out!!!!

Teacher lectures are clear and concise. Ideas and subjects are clearly understood. Handouts extremely helpful along with class attendance. Good attitude and funny sense of humor make it enjoyable. Even though multiple choice test questions make you think. lots of select all that apply. GOOD LUCK

Very good professor. Actually teaches and tries very hard to keep the class interesting and make learning kinda fun at the same time. Would definitley recomend his class.His tests are very challenging but if you study like you should be doing you are guaranteed to pass.

Great teacher. He is very animated and can ramble at times but he makes the lessons very interesting and he will ask about bones and muscles etc... He is a really nice man and funny. People over react and think he is rude because of his accent but thats not true. If your class is involved he gets involved. He makes it into stories.

Excellent teaching style. Not an easy class but if you study you will do fine. He expects what you should already expect of yourself. He knows the subject! I wish he was also teaching A & P II. His lab is hard too, but again, study what he teaches and you will succeed.

One of the best teachers at BC. He is no harder than the subject requires. This is a subject that should be taken seriously and you will be forced to take it seriously if you want an A. He tells stories that really help explain. Tests are all multiple choice, but require thought. Lots of extra credit! Take him if you want to learn Anatomy.

This Doctor is definite quality. He's funny when he talks, tells jokes, tells you a story, and even when he gets upset. Very clear teacher, his lab is hard, you will have to study (it is A&P, expect it). His lecture is multiple choice and it's exactly what comes out of his mouth and out of his study notes. Interesting stories. Cares for students!

Best prof in BC!! Makes AP easier by giving analogies so students can understand and remember the topic. So far, I have A in the lecture. Exams are based on handouts and discussions so attend every class. Study both handouts and your notes, you will get good grades. I'm hoping he has AP2 next fall because I'll take him again!

Probably the best professor I have ever had. Made me fall in love with the body and biology. Tests are multiple choice with plenty of extra credit. Take him!!!!

Just got an A from 6week semester. His tests come from the notes he prints out, book helps alot to clarify but not really necessary. It is mandatory to go to the LRC and STUDY. He gives extra credit points in his tests. If you dont study expect an D at best. BTW Funniest proffesor I've ever had. I would take him again if I could.

I took him for anatomy 1 lecture. Loved it. I was scared walking into this class because every said how hard anatomy was. You definitely need to put time into this class. His lectures are awesome most of the time I didn't even need to take notes I just listened. I got an A in his class. I would for sure take him again.

Asad is a good guy. His lectures are definitely helpful, and follows his lesson plan to the T. Only complaint is that he is a bad ranter. He can go off on rants that are totally unrelated to the topic. One time he talked about buying cars for 20 minutes... But other than that a very relatable and funny guy. Takes solid notes and hit the lab hard.

Professor Asad is an amazing teacher!! He actually teaches!! Doesn't just sit behind a desk and read off of powerpoint presentations. Anatomy is a challenging class, so you have to study! Nobody wants to study, but for that subject you have to. He really tries to get his students to understand the information, not just memorize. He is a gem at BC!

Asad is very friendly and nice, likes to joke around with the class. My favorite about his lab is that he lets you do your own thing and leave whenever you are finished. Your grade is completely up to you, you need to study but he is not trying to trick you. 2 quizzes, 2 practicals. Study from the lab notebook & models and you'll get an A.

He relates anatomy to real life, does not use power points to teach but elaborates off of a packet he provides, and with his drawings RECORD HIS LECTURES and actually UNDERSTAND the info you'll be good; For lab his mid/finalmemorization go to Asc, for 2 quizzes be familiar with anything and everything written in that lab manual prior to test date

I took the 6-week summer lecture with Dr. Asad and loved his class! His lectures are entertaining and easy to listen to, he helps you remember information via his "stories". Take tentative notes on the lectures and read over the packets and you'll ace the class. Great Professor!

I took Dr. Asad for AP2 lab in the 6wk course and passed with an A+. Labs are usually difficult and his was no different. He gives you all the information you need for the test and also gives extra credit on quizzes and exams! He is very friendly, passionate, and knowledgeable! He cares about his students and will help any way he can! Take him!

I earned an A for this class. This is not an easy class. You must take notes, study, and do well on tests because your grade is only based on that. Make sure to write down his lectures literally almost word for word.

I loved Dr. Asads class. He really knows his subject by heart and gives tips on how you can do well on the test. Anatomy is hard and requires a lot of work but Dr. Asad only gives 2 written quizzes exam and 2 practicals. Just study and you will pass the class. I already scheduled my classes next Sem and taking him again.

As expected this class is really tough but go to lab and study you for sure you will pass. Dr. Asad knows his materials really well but will go a little out of topic to teach you about life hacks. He only grades based on your practicals and 10% from two quizzes so study and you wont fail. :)

Took Dr. Asad for AP1Lab and AP2Lab. Very easy to get an A. Just go to the Lab and memorize the materials. He usualy tells you which ones are going to be on his test so listen to everything he says and take a lot of videos! He tends to talk about some life hacks once in a while but really shows he cares!

I had professor Assad for BSC2085L. I started that class with a different attitude that I left with. Class turnt out to be more fun and interesting than the lecture was.

Taking him for BSC2085. He doesnt use the textbook but instead gives you a packet which has all the information for the tests. Make sure you're always paying attention and always re-read the packets out of class cus the whole class revolves around the tests based on them. If you dont like studying or tend to miss classes its not the class for you
